A preliminary analysis of T4 b N0-2M0 colon cancer patients at the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center is also presented.RESULTS: A total of 1734 T4 b N0-2M0 colon cancer patients from the SEER database were included. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed decreasing CSS with decreasing tumor size(P < 0.001). Subgroup analysis showed a significant association between poorer CSS with smaller tumor size in T4 b N0 patients(P = 0.024), and a trend of association in T4 b N1(P = 0.182) and T4 b N2 patients(P = 0.191). Multivariate analysis identified tumor size as an independent prognostic factor for CSS in T4 b N0-2M0 patients(P = 0.024). Preliminary analysis of Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center samples suggested the 5-year CSS was 50.0%, 72.9% and 77.1% in patients with tumors ≤ 4.0 cm, 4.0-7.0 cm and ≥ 7.0 cm.CONCLUSION: Smaller tumor size is associated with poorer CSS in the T4 b N0-2M0 subset of colon cancer, particularly in the T4 b N0M0 subgroup.展开更多

However, there is little knowledge of whether genetic variations also affect the prognosis of TCL. This study investigated the associations between single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily(TNFRSF) genes and the survival of patients with TCL. A total of 38 tag SNPs in 18 TNFRSF genes were genotyped using Sequenom platform in 150 patients with TCL. Kaplan-Meier survival estimates were plotted and significance was assessed using log-rank tests. Cox proportional hazard models were used to analyze each of these 38 SNPs with adjustment for covariates that might influence patient survival, including sex and international prognostic Index score. Hazard ratios (HRs) and their 95% confidence intervals(CIs) were calculated. Among the 38 SNPs tested, 3 were significantly associated with the survival of patients with TCL. These SNPs were located at LTβR (rs3759333C>T) and TNFRSF17(rs2017662C>T and rs2071336C>T). The 5-year survival rates were significantly different among patients carrying different genotypes and the HRs for death between the different genotypes ranged from 0.45 to 2.46. These findings suggest that the SNPs in TNFRSF genes might be important determinants for the survival of TCL patients.展开更多

The metamorphk processes of the garnet- amphibole rocks thus provides a significant evidence for the pbte tectonic movement prevailing in the late Middle Proterozoic period.展开更多

The rock samples were investigated by nuclear magnetic resonance before and after the loading. The relationships between the mesoscopic rock damage and macroscopic mechanical parameters were established, and the initial damage stress of the low-porosity sedimentary rock was determined. The results showed that this type of rock has the initial stress of damage. When the initial loading stress is lower than the initial stress of damage, the T2 spectrum area of the rock sample gradually decreases, and the primary pores of the rock are further closed under the stress. The range of the initial stress of damage for this type of rock is 8-16 MPa. When the loading stress exceeds the initial stress of damage, the T2 spectrum area gradually increases, indicating that the porosity of the rock increases and microscopic damage of the rock appears. The rock damage degree is defined, and the nonlinear function between the rock damage degree and the initial loading stress is established.展开更多

It is con-sistent with the previous study. The melting temperature of eclogite increases with pressure, whereas potassic basalt has similar properties only at 1.5—2.5 GPa and>3.0 GPa, and at 2.5—3.0 GPa the melting temperature decreases with pressure. This can be explained as follows: (1)eclogite only has one hydrous mineral amphibole and the dehydous temperature is lower than thewet solidus of the rock. (2) Amphibole exists in potassic basalt at the pressures lower than 2.5GPa and phlogopite exists at pressures higher than 2.5 GPa, and the special compositions of bothminerals determine that amphibole has a dehydration temperature higher than or close to that ofthe wet solidus of the rocks, while phlogopite has a dehydration temperature lower than that ofthe wet solidus. On the other hand the features of the continuous solidus in the experiment ofhydrous eclogite were produced by the fact that the dehydration temperature of its amphibolelower than or close to the melting temperature of the hydrous conditions. So the melting tempera-ture lowers at higher pressures. Therefore, the composition of the rocks in the lithosphere and thetypes of hydrous minerals and their stable P-T conditions are the important factors controllingthe solidi of rocks. It can quite well explain the partial melting of rocks and the origin of the lowvelocity zone in the deep lithosphere.展开更多

The previous workers agreed that a domal structure is present in Sikkim which is constituted by low to high grade metamorphic rocks characterised by inverted metamorphism. The rocks were repeatedly deformed and were metamorphosed at about 550 to 770℃ (550 to 750MPa). Geologically, the oldest rocks of Eastern Sikkim are represented by Darjeeling Formation showing medium to high grade metamorphism. It is followed by low grade Daling Formation which is characterised by tectonic wedges of Lingtse gneiss. The potassic syenite intrusive i.e. the Sikkim igneous formation is youngest rock type of the area. The Darjeeling Formation associated with amphibolite bands consists of kyanite\|sillimanite, staurolite and garnet zones, while the Daling Formation is characterised by low grade chloritoid and chlorite zones. Lingtse Formation is gneissic in which patches of retrograded and sheared garnet schists are present. Intrusions of potassic syenites (Sikkim Formation) occur in the form of oval and concordant bodies. The F 1, F 2 and F 3 folds are well developed in rocks of Eastern Sikkim area.. The F 1 folds are rootless, tightly isoclinal or reclined and highly obliterated in their attitude. The F 2 folds belong to class IC of Ramsay (1967). Their interlimb angles vary from 20~50 degrees. Intersection lineation due to S 0/S 1 and S 2 surfaces is parallel to the F 2 folds axis. Third generation structures are represented by open to moderately tight and kinked folds. Superimposition of F 3 folds on F 2 folds resulted into type II interference pattern of Ramsay (1967). Structural analysis of these folds have revealed that F 2 folds are non\|cylindrical. The kink or F 3 folds were possibly responsible for the formation of a megakink resembling with the domal structure. The repeatedly deformed rocks of Eastern Sikkim area were folded, faulted, sheared/thrusted during the Himalayan orogeny. The Main Central Thrust (M C T) is actually a ductile shear zone and was subjected to imbrication during later phases of F 2 folding.展开更多

The Rock Eval results of 284 cuttings samples, 31 side wall core samples and conventional core samples from the Jurassic Cretaceous sedimentary sequences in the Bambra 2 well are presented in this paper. Significantly lower T max values from cuttings samples compared with T max values from conventional core samples and solvent extracted SWC samples, from the deeper and higher maturity interval, are thought to have been caused by contamination by diesel and other drilling mud additives. The cuttings samples in the Barrow Group of Cretaceous may be contaminated by natural hydrocarbons, resulting their T max values to be 2-10 ℃ lower than a regularly increased T max trend from core samples. This study indicates that more reliable Rock Eval T max data are obtained from the conventional core samples and solvent extracted SWC samples. This study also indicates that the T max values from some SWC samples were also affected by free hydrocarbons, due to the use of diesel as a mud additive as well.展开更多

Hence, there has been recently a strong incentive to use new geophysical techniques to invert such properties from seismic or sonic measurements for rocks characterization. The P-wave velocity, which is non-destructtive and easy method to apply in both field and laboratory conditions, has increasingly been conducted to determine the geotechnical properties of rock materials. The P-wave velocity of a rock is closely related to the intact rock properties, and been measuring the velocity in rock masses describes the rock structure and texture. The present work deals with the use of a simple and non-destructive technique, ultrasonic velocity, to predict the porosity and density of calcarenite rocks that are characteristic in historical monument. The ultrasonic test is based on measuring the propagation time of a P-wave in the longitudinal direction. Good correlations between P-wave velocity, porosity and density were found, which indicated them as an appropriate technique for estimating the porosity and density.展开更多

The mean values of the activity concentrations of U-238 (Ra-226), Th-232, K-40 and Cs-137 in the igneous samples are found as (11.0, 11.50, 1172.71, 1.47) Bq/Kg respectively. In the sedimentary rocks, the mean values of the activity concentrations of the natural radionuclides (U-238 (Ra-226), Th-232 and K-40) and the fallout nuclide (Cs-137) equal to (12.04, 13.18, 1131.36, 1.60) Bq/Kg respectively. The averages of radiological hazards (<em>Ra</em><em>eq</em>, <em>H</em><em>ex</em> and <em>I</em><em><span style="white-space:nowrap;"><span style="white-space:nowrap;">γ</span></span></em>) were calculated and found to be within the UNSCEAR permissible limit values (370 Bq/kg for <em>Ra</em><em>eq</em>, and 1 for <em>H</em><em>ex</em> and <em>I</em><em><span style="white-space:nowrap;"><span style="white-space:nowrap;">γ</span></span></em>), except for a slight increase of average value of <em>I</em><em><span style="white-space:nowrap;"><span style="white-space:nowrap;">γ</span></span></em> in the igneous rock samples (1.36). The results indicate that the dose rate values depend on the kind of rocks (high in some igneous rock samples, and most of sedimentary rock samples have low dose rate). The activities of naturalnuclides were predicted and simulated in T time using a written MATLAB R2020a script based on the average activity concentrations and respective half-lives of U-238 and Th-232 series, and K-40, this is to evaluate the future effects of natural radionuclides on the population and estimate the human inputs in the future.展开更多

Here we studied the ability of the Y-27632, a highly selective inhibitor of Rho-associated protein kinase p160ROCK (ROCK1), to abrogate chronic rejection of the allograft and influence T cell infiltration. Methods: Heterotopic cardiac transplants were performed between donor Wistar Furth (WF) and ACI recipient rats. Controls received sub-therapeutic dose of cyclosporine (CsA, 10 mg/kg) for 3 days or 7 days therapeutic dose of cyclosporine. The experimental groups of ACI recipient received one preoperative dose of the Y-27632 inhibitor (2 mg/kg, gavage feed) in conjunction with the sub-therapeutic dose of CsA for 3 days or inhibitor alone for 7 days. The cardiac grafts were harvested at 100 days of post-transplantation for histological and immunohistochemical assessment of chronic rejection, vascular sclerosis, and infiltration by different T cell subtypes. Results: Cardiac allografts from recipients exposed to Y-27632 inhibitor in conjunction with sub-therapeutic dose of CsA showed drastically reduced vascular sclerosis, minimal myocardial total cellular infiltration, and were selectively infiltrated with Foxp3+ T regulatory (Treg) cells. Conclusions: Our novel finding that a single dose of the ROCK1 inhibitor Y-27632 attenuates chronic rejection in rat cardiac model system by promoting development of Treg cells warrants its potential as a novel therapeutic agent specific for the inhibition of chronic rejection.展开更多

The results show that mixed bacteria has strong ability to produce acid, and have stronger oxidation activity to energy source -Fe^2+. Mixed bacteria can significantly increase the rate of phosphate solubilization from phosphate rock in low concentration pulp. It goes against mixed bacteria reproduction when pulp concentration increased, makes phosphate solubilization rate decreased.展开更多

It can quite well explain the partial melting of rocks and the origin of the lowvelocity zone in the deep lithosphere.
文摘The Eastern Sikkim area forming a part of the Lesser Himalaya is located between 27°10′~27°30′N latitudes and 88°25′~88°40′E longitudes (750km 2). The Main Central Thrust (M C T) is actually a ductile shear zone and was subjected to imbrication during later phases of F 2 folding.
文摘The contamination of cuttings and side wall core (SWC) samples in the Bambra 2 well by drilling mud additives and natural hydrocarbons may cause Rock Eval T max (℃) data to be suspect, and affect its utility in the assessment of thermal maturity. This study also indicates that the T max values from some SWC samples were also affected by free hydrocarbons, due to the use of diesel as a mud additive as well.
文摘Petrophysical proprieties such as porosity, density, permeability and saturation have a marked impact on acoustic proprieties of rocks. Good correlations between P-wave velocity, porosity and density were found, which indicated them as an appropriate technique for estimating the porosity and density.
文摘In this work, gamma-ray spectroscopy based on semiconductor hyper pure germanium (HPGe) detector was used to evaluate the activity concentrations of the natural radionuclides (U-238 (Ra-226), Th-232 and K-40) and the fallout nuclide (Cs-137) for thirty samples of igneous and sedimentary rocks of Al-Atawilah (Al-Baha). The activities of naturalnuclides were predicted and simulated in T time using a written MATLAB R2020a script based on the average activity concentrations and respective half-lives of U-238 and Th-232 series, and K-40, this is to evaluate the future effects of natural radionuclides on the population and estimate the human inputs in the future.
文摘Background: We have shown previously that the abrogation of acute and chronic rejection of rat cardiac allografts occurs through the down-regulation of RhoA pathway and involves the changes in RhoA kinase (ROCK)-dependent actin cytoskeleton and T cell motility. Conclusions: Our novel finding that a single dose of the ROCK1 inhibitor Y-27632 attenuates chronic rejection in rat cardiac model system by promoting development of Treg cells warrants its potential as a novel therapeutic agent specific for the inhibition of chronic rejection.
文摘In this paper, the growth characteristics of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans (At.f) and Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans (At. f) in mixed culture has been studied, explored mixed bacteria phosphate solubilization effect, from a kind of low-grade phosphate rock. The results show that mixed bacteria has strong ability to produce acid, and have stronger oxidation activity to energy source -Fe^2+. Mixed bacteria can significantly increase the rate of phosphate solubilization from phosphate rock in low concentration pulp. It goes against mixed bacteria reproduction when pulp concentration increased, makes phosphate solubilization rate decreased.
