A novel technique for calibrating crucial parameters of chassis components is proposed,which utilizes the machine vision metrology to measure 3D coordinates of the center of a component's hole for assembling in the 3D world coordinate system.In the measurement,encoding marks with special patterns will be assembled on the chassis component associated with cross drone and staff gauge located near the chassis.The geometry and coordinates of the cross drone consist of two planes orthogonal to each other and the staff gauge is in 3D space with high precision.A few images are taken by a highresolution camera in different orientations and perspectives.The 3D coordinates of 5 key points on the encoding marks will be calculated by the machine vision technique and those of the center of the holes to be calibrated will be calculated by the deduced algorithm in this paper.Experimental results show that the algorithm and the technique can satisfy the precision requirement when the components are assembled,and the average measurement precision provided by the algorithm is 0.0174 mm. 展开更多

A hybrid wavelength division multiple access (WDMA)/optical code division multiplexing (OCDM) system is proposed, where the optical code is not the same as the address of every optical network unit (ONU); rather, the code is a virtual fiber of hybrid passive optical network (PON). To our knowledge, this is the first report analyzing a single encoder/decoder with a single corresponding optical code being exploited to encode/decode multiple wavelength signals simultaneously. This system enables OCDM to become transparent to ONU so that the existing wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) PON can be upgraded. Thus, redesigning the optical line terminal and ONU can be easily accomplished, and greatly decreasing the number of encoder/decoder becomes possible. In experiment, we only employ two encoder/decoder pairs to combine two WDM-PONs in one fiber. Simulation results confirm the feasibility of the proposed system. 展开更多

The principle of a novel orthogonal modulation format of differential 8-1evel phase-shift keying amplitude-shift keying (D8PSK/ASK) with differential bi-phase encoding (DBC) is introduced. Based on it, an optical labeling scheme, in which the payload is 100 Gbit/s D8PSK signal and the label is 10 Gbit/s DBC-ASK signal, is proposed and simulated. The results arc compared with other current schemes, and the effects of transmission range, modulation extinction ratio (ER) and received power on system performance are analyzed, respectively. The results show that the spectrum efficiency and bit error rate (BER) are improved greatly, and when the modulation ER is increased to 11 dB, the balanced performance between the payload and label is achieved. 展开更多

Construction of type-Ⅱ QC-LDPC codes with fast encoding based on perfect cyclic difference sets 被引量:1

In view of the problems that the encoding complexity of quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check(QC-LDPC) codes is high and the minimum distance is not large enough which leads to the degradation of the error-correction performance, the new irregular type-Ⅱ QC-LDPC codes based on perfect cyclic difference sets(CDSs) are constructed. The parity check matrices of these type-Ⅱ QC-LDPC codes consist of the zero matrices with weight of 0, the circulant permutation matrices(CPMs) with weight of 1 and the circulant matrices with weight of 2(W2CMs). The introduction of W2CMs in parity check matrices makes it possible to achieve the larger minimum distance which can improve the error-correction performance of the codes. The Tanner graphs of these codes have no girth-4, thus they have the excellent decoding convergence characteristics. In addition, because the parity check matrices have the quasi-dual diagonal structure, the fast encoding algorithm can reduce the encoding complexity effectively. Simulation results show that the new type-Ⅱ QC-LDPC codes can achieve a more excellent error-correction performance and have no error floor phenomenon over the additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel with sum-product algorithm(SPA) iterative decoding. 展开更多
