Fifteen novel 2-(3-oxobenzo[d]isothiazol-2(3H)-yl)ethyl benzoates were synthesi- zed by the condensation of 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzo[d]isothiazol-3(2H)-one with substituted benzoic acids in dichloromethane. Fifteen novel 2-(3-oxobenzo[d]isothiazol-2(3H)-yl)ethyl benzoates were synthesi- zed by the condensation of 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzo[d]isothiazol-3(2H)-one with substituted benzoic acids in dichloromethane. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ESI-MS and 1H NMR. The crystal structures for 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzo[d]isothiazol-3(2H)-one (2) and 2-(3-oxobenzo[d]isothiazol-2(3H)-yl)ethyl 2-methoxybenzoate (30) have been determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis. Compound 2 (C9H9NO2S) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group Pn with a = 10.552(3), b = 7.849(2), c = 10.765(4) A, β = 103.128(4)°, V= 868.3(5) A3, Mr = 195.24, Dc = 1.493 Mg.m-3, μ = 0.33 mm-1, F(000) = 408, Z = 4, R= 0.0314 and wR= 0.0628. Compound 30 (C17H15NO4S) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 8.028(2), b = 9.300(2), c = 10.430(3)A, V= 752.1(3)A3, Mr = 329.36, D,= 1.454 Mg.m-3, p = 0.24 mm-1, F(000) = 344, Z = 2, R = 0.0377 and wR = 0.0904. The preliminary biological test indicated that the title compounds show better growth inhibitory activity against the gram-positive bacteria than the gram-negative bacteria. 展开更多

Trypan blue dye exclusion method was used in experiment. X-ray single-crystal analysis has revealed that compound 1 (C32H32Cu2O10) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, Mr = 703.66, a = 47.340(5), b = 6.6613(4), c = 22.028(2)A,β = 113.284(4)°, V = 6380.6(10) A^3, Z = 8, Dc= 1.465 g/cm^3, F(000) = 2896,μ = 1.388 mm^-11, the final R = 0.0515 and wR = 0.1172 for 5712 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). X-ray crystal structure analysis suggests that compound [CH2(C7H5O2)4(C2H6O)2] has a binuclear structure with two Cu(II) atoms coordinated by four benzoate groups and two ethanol molecules. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O-H...O hydrogen bonds. The compound inhibits the proliferation of K562 cells (chronic myeloid leukemic cells) significantly and dose-dependently in 48 h, and IC50 of K562 is 17.3μg/mL by trypan blue dye exclusion method. 展开更多

The title complex, [Ce(BA)3phen]2 (BA = benzoate, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), was prepared by the reaction of Ce(NO3)3.6H2O, benzoic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline. The complex was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectra and TG-DTG techniques. The results show that the crystal is of triclinic, space group P1 with a = 10.912(2), b = 11.962(3), c = 12.474(3) A, α = 104.889(3), β = 93.523(3), γ = 113.332(3)^o, C66H46Ce2N4O12, Mr = 1366.90, V= 1420.2(6) ,A^3, Z = 1, Dc = 1.598 g/cm^3, μ = 1.652 mm^-1, S = 1.024 and F(000) = 682. The final R = 0.0391 and wR = 0.0947 for 4878 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). The structure of the title complex consists of two Ce(C6HsCOO)3(C12H8N2) units, forming a binuclear molecule. Each Ce(Ⅲ) is coordinated by two O atoms of one bidentate chelating carboxylate group, five O atoms of two bidentate bridging and two tridentate chelating-bridging carboxylate groups, and two N atoms of one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule to complete a distorted monocapped square antiprism geometry. A novel three dimensional network complex polymer [Cu_4(oxen)_2(N_3)_3]_n(ClO_4)_n·2nH_2O, where oxen is N,N' -bis(2-aminoethyl)oxamide dianion, has been synthesized. It crystallizes in triclinic system, space group P, with a=11.486(2), b=11.706(3), c=12.291(3) , α=77.42(2), β=67.59(2), γ=77.96(2)°, and z=2. The least-square refinements converged at R=0.047, with 3416 observed unique reflections. The complex has a pronounced three-dimensional character and can be viewed as the tetranuclear asymmetric repeating units through inversion and translation operations to extend a three-dimensional network. The structure of Cu_4 asymmetric unit consists of two square planar and two square pyramidal Cu central atoms linked by both azide ligands in end-on and end-to-end bonding modes, and oxamidate bridge in trans conformation. 展开更多

By recrystallizing (1) in CHCl_3 single crystals were obtained and the structure was determined by four-circle diffractometer. Data showed that the crystal is in space group C2/m with a=27. 454(9)A, b=13, 608A, c=30. 556(11)A, β=99. 89(3)°, v=11245. 7(7. 5)A^3. The structure was solved by a combination of Patterson method and Fourier technique. The final R value is 0. 103. In the structure, four copper and two terbium ions are bridged by 2-pyridone anions to form an essentially octahedral Cu_4Tb_2 core. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 11.715(5), b = 12.328(5), c =11.113(5)A, β= 92.589(5)°, Z = 2, Dc = 1.411 g/cm^3,μ = 0.658 mml, the final R = 0.0427 and wR = 0.1099 for 2229 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). The complex is a centrosymmetric plane in which nickel(Ⅱ) is coordinated in a regular octahedron to the ligand phenytoin through the nitrogen atoms of ethylenediamine, imine and amine. The complex was valued for its antimicrobial activity against bacterial strands using the agar diffusion method, and found to be active against the four test bacterial organisms. Preliminary screening for antimicrobial activities showed that the title complex is quite active against standard strains of Salmonella species, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus pumilus and Eschierichia coli. 展开更多

The compound crystallizes in orthorhombic, space group Pbcn with a = 12.0821(II), b = 18.3140(17), c = 30.961(3) A, V= 6850.7(11) A^3, C80H48C14N4O12Zn2, Mr= 1529.76, Dc = 1.483 g/cm^3,μ(MoKa) = 0.925 mm^-1, F(000) = 3120, Z = 4, the final R = 0.0559 and wR = 0.1146 for 3963 observed reflections (I〉 2σ(I)). In the crystal structure, the zinc atom is five-coordinated with three carboxylate oxygen atoms from three different cbba ligands and two nitrogen atoms from the phen ligand, showing a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Furthermore, it exhibits a 3D supramolecular network through π-π interactions and shows yellow photoluminescent property at room temperature. 展开更多

A new complex [Cd(H2biim)2(H2O)2]·(ino)2·4H2O (H2biim = 2,2'-biimidazole, ino = isonicotinate-N-oxide) has been prepared and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR and fluorescence spectra analysis. The crystal is of triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 7.5380(6), b = 8.0402(7), c = 13.5094(11) , α = 104.269(1), β = 93.604(1), γ = 98.349(1)°, V = 780.93(11) 3, Mr = 765.00, Dc = 1.627 g/cm3, F(000) = 390, μ = 0.776 mm-1 and Z = 1. The final R = 0.0322 and wR = 0.0825 for 7038 observed reflections with I 2σ(I) and R = 0.0341 and wR = 0.0832 for all data. The title complex exhibits an infinite chain-like structure through bridging isonicotinate-N-oxide. Strong interchain hydrogen bonds between isonicotinate-N-oxide and H2biim result in the robust 3-D supramolecular architecture. Moreover, the complex shows strong photoluminescence with emission maximum at λ = 401 nm upon λex = 330 nm. 展开更多

A new zinc(II) complex, Zn(2-NH2py)2Br2 (py=pyridine), has been synthesized, and its molecular structure has been confirmed by IR, elemental analysis and -ray crystal structure analysis. Its space group is P21/n with Mr=413.43 (C10H12Br2N4Zn), a=7.435(2), b=12.865(3), c=14.186(4)? b=94.08(2)? V=1353.5(5) 3, Z=4, Dc=2.029 g/cm3, F(000)=328, ?2.378mm-1, R=0.0283, wR=0.0501. The total observed reflections with I≥2?I) were 5314, of which the independent reflections were 3106. The complex structure contains a distorted tetrahedron formed by four atoms coordinated to zinc atom, namely two bromide atoms and two nitrogen atoms. The two ZnBr bond lengths within one molecule, 2.3763(6) and 2.4002(5)? respectively, are not equal; and so are the two ZnN bond lengths, which are 2.031(2) and 2.044(2)?respectively. The calculation results using PM3 method through MOPAC software package in Chem 3D show that its first molecular hyperpolarizability b value is 5.210-30esu, which is comparable with that of p-nitroaniline. No bulk SHG effect has been detected due to the centrosymmetric space group. 展开更多

A novel complex, [Mn(2-NCP)(H2BTC)(H2O)]n(1, 1,3,5-H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, 2-HNCP = 2-(2-carboxyphenyl)-1 H-imidazo(4,5-f)-(1,10)phenanthroline), was hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XRD and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structural analyses reveal that complex 1 exhibits a(6, 6)-connected topology network with a Schl?fli symbol of(63). The adjacent 2 D layers are further stacked via strong hydrogen-bonding interactions, giving a 3 D supramolecular framework. In addition, the structure of complex 1 was calculated by the B3LYP/LANL2 DZ method by Gaussian program. The results from natural bond orbital(NBO) analysis shows obvious covalent interaction between the coordinated atoms and Mn(Ⅱ) ion. 展开更多
