Through exploring the effects of low pH on the composite system of desulfurization gypsum(DG)enhanced by melamine-formaldehyde resin(MF),it is found that the inducing of sulfate-ion,in contrast to chloride and oxalate ions,favors the longitudinal growth of the crystalline form of the hydration product,which was relatively simple and had the highest length to width(L/D)ratio.At the same time,MF can also improve L/D ratio of gypsum hydration products,which favors the formation of hydrated whiskers.Finally,in a composite system composed of hemihydrate gypsum,MF,and glass fibers,when dilute sulfuric acid was used to regulate pH=3-4,the tight binding formed among the components of the composite system compared to pH=5-6.The hydration product of gypsum adheres tightly to glass fiber surface and produces a good cross-linking and binding effect with MF.The flexural strength,compressive strength,elastic modulus,and water absorption of the desulphurized gypsum composite board is 22.7 MPa,39.8 MPa,5608 MPa,and 1.8%,respectively. 展开更多

In order to solve the hybrid and dependent task scheduling and critical source allocation problems, a task scheduling algorithm has been developed by first presenting the tasks, and then describing the hybrid and dependent scheduling algorithm and deriving the predictable schedulability condition. The performance of this agorithm was evaluated through simulation, and it is concluded from the evaluation results that the hybrid task scheduling subalgorithm based on the comparison factor can be used to solve the problem of aperiodic task being blocked by periodic task in the traditional operating system for a very long time, which results in poor scheduling predictability; and the resource allocation subalgorithm based on schedulability analysis can be used to solve the problems of critical section conflict, ceiling blocking and priority inversion; and the scheduling algorithm is nearest optimal when the abortable critical section is 0.6. 展开更多

Unlike many other softwar... DQPSK modem has been chosen as the modem scheme in many mobile communication systems. A new signal processing technique of π/4-DQPSK modem based on software radio is discussed in this paper. Unlike many other software radio solutions to the subject, we choose a universal digital radio baseband processor operating as the co-processor of DSP. Only the core algorithms for signal processing are implemented with DSP. Thus the computation burden on DSP is reduced significantly. Compared with the traditional ones, the technique mentioned in this paper is more promising and attractive. It is extremely compact and power-efficient, which is often required by a mobile communication system. The implementation of baseband signal processing for π/4-DQPSK modem on this platform is illustrated in detail. Special emphases are laid on the architecture of the system and the algorithms used in the baseband signal processing. Finally, some experimental results are presented and the performances of the signal processing and compensation algorithms are evaluated through computer simulations. 展开更多

Software project outcomes heavily depend on natural language requirements,often causing diverse interpretations and issues like ambiguities and incomplete or faulty requirements.Researchers are exploring machine learning to predict software bugs,but a more precise and general approach is needed.Accurate bug prediction is crucial for software evolution and user training,prompting an investigation into deep and ensemble learning methods.However,these studies are not generalized and efficient when extended to other datasets.Therefore,this paper proposed a hybrid approach combining multiple techniques to explore their effectiveness on bug identification problems.The methods involved feature selection,which is used to reduce the dimensionality and redundancy of features and select only the relevant ones;transfer learning is used to train and test the model on different datasets to analyze how much of the learning is passed to other datasets,and ensemble method is utilized to explore the increase in performance upon combining multiple classifiers in a model.Four National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)and four Promise datasets are used in the study,showing an increase in the model’s performance by providing better Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(AUC-ROC)values when different classifiers were combined.It reveals that using an amalgam of techniques such as those used in this study,feature selection,transfer learning,and ensemble methods prove helpful in optimizing the software bug prediction models and providing high-performing,useful end mode. 展开更多

From the literature, it is evident that there are various kinds of process models that are used by the software industries for the development of small, medium and long-term software projects, but many of them do not cover risk management. It is quite obvious that the improper selection of the software development process model leads to failure of the software products as it is time bound activity. In the present work, a new software development process model is proposed which covers the risks at any stage of the development of the software product. The model is named a Hemant-Vipin (HV) process model and may be helpful for the software industries for development of the efficient software products and timely delivery at the end of the client. The efficiency of the HV process model is observed by considering various kinds of factors like requirement clarity, user feedback, change agility, predictability, risk identification, practical implementation, customer satisfaction, incremental development, use of ready-made components, quick design, resource organization and many more and found through a case study that the presented approach covers many of parameters in comparison of the existing process models. . 展开更多

There is a contradiction between high processing complexity and limited processing resources when turbo codes are used on the on-board processing(OBP)satellite platform.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a partial iterative decode method for on-board application,in which satellite only carries out limited number of iteration according to the on-board processing resource limitation and the throughput capacity requirements.In this method,the soft information of parity bits,which is not obtained individually in conventional turbo decoder,is encoded and forwarded along with those of information bits.To save downlink transmit power,the soft information is limited and normalized before forwarding.The iteration number and limiter parameters are optimized with the help of EXIT chart and numerical analysis,respectively.Simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively decrease the complexity of onboard processing while achieve most of the decoding gain.. 展开更多

However, these methods in- troduce nondeterminacy, leading to models that are imprecise or inefficient. We present a model of software Behaviour Detection based on Process Algebra and system call (BDPA). In this model, a system call is mapped into an action, and a function is mapped into a process We construct a process expression for each function to describe its behaviour. Without con- strutting automata or introducing nondeter- minacy, we use algebraic properties and algo- rithms to obtain a global process expression by combining the process expressions derived from each function. Behaviour detection rules and methods based on BDPA are determined by equivalence theory. Experiments demon- strate that the BDPA model has better preci- sion and efficiency than traditional methods. 展开更多

Target setting is usually subjective in practice, which is unscientific. Therefore, this study proposes a quantity model for controlling and measuring software quality via the expert decision-making algorithm-based method for constructing an evaluation method can provide software in relation to users and purchasers, thus enabling administrators or decision makers to identify the most appropriate software quality. The existing systems sustained with the investments made require more automation and digital transformation with the continuous advancement of tech-nology.The aviation industry is a sector that is open to more automation and digi-tal transformation,mainly because of the intense competition and the analysis of a large variety of data.The long duration of operations in current airline processes and some processflows cause customer dissatisfaction and cost increase.In this study,the boarding process,which is one of the operational processes of airline transportation and is open to improvement,was discussed.The classical boarding process has been redesigned using Internet of Things technology a model called Boarding 4.0 was created.With Boarding 4.0,it is aimed to design a process where passengers can take their time before boarding more efficiently.In the study,the sub-processes of the Boarding 4.0 model,other processes that the sub-processes interact with,their activities,and data exchange passenger move-ments during the activities are explained in detail.Compared to the classical boarding process and Boarding 4.0 with the fuzzy ahp technique,it has been shown that boarding 4.0 is more advantageous and passenger movement times can be reduced during boarding.As a result of the evaluation made with the fuzzy ahp,it was determined that boarding 4.0 is more advantageous than the classical boarding process.In addition,when the total time of the sub-activities in the board-ing process is calculated,boarding activities for a passenger take 50 min with the classic boarding process and 20 min with Boarding 4.0.Thus,when Boarding 4.0 is used,the passenger gains 30 min.Furthermore,when the calculation is made concerning the airport’s current capacity,two passengers are hosted with the clas-sical boarding process,whilefive passengers are hosted with Boarding 4.0.This acquisition is significant for airports in terms of efficient use of resources. 展开更多

This study presents a decision making process in three steps of knowledge management for test organization using process simulation and financial analysis. First, project cost assessment of test knowledge management process subjects to different project duration and number of staffs. Two knowledge management simulation models representing experienced personnel with knowledge sharing and inexperienced personnel with internal training respectively are employed to contrast test personnel capability. Second, performance evaluation of software testing process by different personnel capability is conducted to simulate system test using three project metrics, namely, duration, effort cost, and quality. Third, a comparative financial analysis is prepared to determine the best solution by return on investment, payback period, and benefit cost ratio. The results from three stages of finding are discussed to arrive at the final scenario. We provide a case study evaluating how software testing industry needs to build effective test organization with high quality personnel for sustainable development and improvement. 展开更多

Specifically, the authors have constructed: (1) a Hi-reliability estimation system diagnostic tool that pinpoints problems with software development estimates and offers a prescription for resolving them; (2) a QA table map that allows for an immediate, thorough, and consistent quality assurance process; (3) a system for sharing software development schedules throughout the organization; and (4) a technological asset completion reporting system for passing down and cultivating software development technologies and strategically expanding them. I the context of the Corporate Governance Code enactment in Japan, we examine how newly introduced outside directors in Japanese boards obtain information to take part in the decision-making process. We conducted a systematic review of the literature and found 18 peer-reviewed publications in a time span between 2000 and 2016 that described the asymmetry of information between the insider group of board directors (including the CEO) and the outside board members. Our fmdings show that for the course of more than a decade, despite all changes and reforms, the role of board directors, whether insiders or outsiders, is still supplementary. They are treated more as advisors than active part in the decision-making process. We reveal different insider sources of information as forming social ties with the CEO and/or inside board directors and collaboration with Audit & Supervisory Board (Kansayaku), which can help reduce this asymmetry and improve the decision-making process. We assume that it will be easier for the outsiders to establish contacts and form social ties with the Audit & Supervisory Board members because of their unspoken lower status and thus to obtain more information about the company internal affairs and discussions that take place during the informal meetings, where only insiders (including the CEO) are present. 展开更多

For a purpose of suitable system product development and acquisition successfully, it is extremely important to specify the quality requirement for target system during system design phase, and developing or selecting a most suitable product finally from among the alternative candidate products. However, the quality requirements analysis is a very difficult matter because it is non-formulaic and demands much of product customer’s technical perceptiveness. Traditionally, analysis of quality requirements of a product has been conducted through questionnaires or interviews with customers based on survey investigator’s personal experience. This kind of lack of structure and incompleteness in the traditional approach introduced missing requirements and errors in prioritizing requirements to implement in the requirement analysis of a product. On the other hand, we have been working on developing the techniques (SQuaRE) for quality requirements and evaluation for system and software product for a long time in ISO/IECJTC1/SC7WG 6. For the purpose of specify the quality requirement of system product, the method of quantitative quality requirement definitions based on ISO/IEC9126 [1] quality model that includes six characteristics is widely recognized. However, independency among each quality characteristic is not sure and the suitability of method by using these six quality characteristics for quality requirement is not certified statistically. In this paper, we propose the concept of quality requirements definition method based on the SQuaRE quality models define in ISO/IEC25030 [2,3]. Also, this paper proposes the result of verification about effectiveness of quantitative quality requirement definition approach from the view point of six quality characteristics described in ISO/IEC9126. 展开更多
