The Analysis of the Correlation between SPT and CPT Based on CNN-GA and Liquefaction Discrimination Research

The objective of this study is to investigate themethods for soil liquefaction discrimination. Typically, predicting soilliquefaction potential involves conducting the standard penetration test (SPT), which requires field testing and canbe time-consuming and labor-intensive. In contrast, the cone penetration test (CPT) provides a more convenientmethod and offers detailed and continuous information about soil layers. In this study, the feature matrix based onCPT data is proposed to predict the standard penetration test blow count N. The featurematrix comprises the CPTcharacteristic parameters at specific depths, such as tip resistance qc, sleeve resistance f s, and depth H. To fuse thefeatures on the matrix, the convolutional neural network (CNN) is employed for feature extraction. Additionally,Genetic Algorithm (GA) is utilized to obtain the best combination of convolutional kernels and the number ofneurons. The study evaluated the robustness of the proposed model using multiple engineering field data sets.Results demonstrated that the proposed model outperformed conventional methods in predicting N values forvarious soil categories, including sandy silt, silty sand, and clayey silt. Finally, the proposed model was employedfor liquefaction discrimination. The liquefaction discrimination based on the predicted N values was comparedwith the measured N values, and the results showed that the discrimination results were in 75% agreement. Thestudy has important practical application value for foundation liquefaction engineering. Also, the novel methodadopted in this research provides new ideas and methods for research in related fields, which is of great academicsignificance. 展开更多

Each prime, twin primes, or composite without factors of 2, 3, 5, and 7 is an offspring of the 48 integers uniquely allocated on the PTP. Objective: Study the contribution of the DIVA 3D dissection table in the teaching of anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology of Bamako. Material and Methods: This was a qualitative study carried out from November 1 to December 30, 2023 at the clinical and morphological anatomy laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontostomatology of Bamako. Included in this study were students who participated in practical and tutorial sessions. The variables studied during this study were: the previous performance of dissection on a cadaver by the students, the opinion of the students on dissection on a cadaver, the replacement of dissection on a cadaver by virtual dissection in the absence of a body, the level student satisfaction. Results: We surveyed 130 participants. The average age was 22 ± 0.2 years with extremes of 17 and 29 years. 95.3% of participants were students. According to 66.7% of participants, virtual dissection is a good palliative in the absence of a corpse. 95.3% of participants found using the virtual dissection table easy with an average of 7.88 ± 1.4. The overall assessment was well rated by 99.3% of participants. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the virtual dissection table should be improved by integrating commented videos. The use of the DIVA 3D virtual dissection table during practical and tutorial sessions is well appreciated by the students. We believe that the teaching of anatomy using 3D digital technology should be included in the study programs of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontostomatology. 展开更多

As an important part of nonstructural components,the seismic response of indoor water supply pipes deserves much attention.This paper presents shaking table test research on water supply pipes installed in a full-scale reinforced concrete(RC)frame structure.Different material pipes and different methods for penetrating the reinforced concrete floors are combined to evaluate the difference in seismic performance.Floor response spectra and pipe acceleration amplification factors based on test data are discussed and compared with code provisions.A seismic fragility study of displacement demand is conducted based on numerical simulation.The acceleration response and displacement response of different combinations are compared.The results show that the combination of different pipe materials and different passing-through methods can cause obvious differences in the seismic response of indoor riser pipes. 展开更多

Video watermarking plays a crucial role in protecting intellectual property rights and ensuring content authenticity.This study delves into the integration of Galois Field(GF)multiplication tables,especially GF(2^(4)),and their interaction with distinct irreducible polynomials.The primary aim is to enhance watermarking techniques for achieving imperceptibility,robustness,and efficient execution time.The research employs scene selection and adaptive thresholding techniques to streamline the watermarking process.Scene selection is used strategically to embed watermarks in the most vital frames of the video,while adaptive thresholding methods ensure that the watermarking process adheres to imperceptibility criteria,maintaining the video's visual quality.Concurrently,careful consideration is given to execution time,crucial in real-world scenarios,to balance efficiency and efficacy.The Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR)serves as a pivotal metric to gauge the watermark's imperceptibility and video quality.The study explores various irreducible polynomials,navigating the trade-offs between computational efficiency and watermark imperceptibility.In parallel,the study pays careful attention to the execution time,a paramount consideration in real-world scenarios,to strike a balance between efficiency and efficacy.This comprehensive analysis provides valuable insights into the interplay of GF multiplication tables,diverse irreducible polynomials,scene selection,adaptive thresholding,imperceptibility,and execution time.The evaluation of the proposed algorithm's robustness was conducted using PSNR and NC metrics,and it was subjected to assessment under the impact of five distinct attack scenarios.These findings contribute to the development of watermarking strategies that balance imperceptibility,robustness,and processing efficiency,enhancing the field's practicality and effectiveness. 展开更多

To enable the experimental assessment of the seismic performance of full-scale nonstructural elements with multiple engineering parameters(EDPs),a three-layer testbed named Nonstructural Element Simulator on Shake Table(NEST)has been developed.The testbed consists of three consecutive floors of steel structure.The bottom two floors provide a space to accommodate a full-scale room.To fully explore the flexibility of NEST,we propose a novel control strategy to generate the required shake table input time histories for the testbed to track the target floor motions of the buildings of interest with high accuracy.The control strategy contains two parts:an inverse dynamic compensation via simulation of feedback control systems(IDCS)algorithm and an offline iteration procedure based on a refined nonlinear numerical model of the testbed.The key aspects of the control strategy were introduced in this paper.Experimental tests were conducted to simulate the seismic responses of a full-scale office room on the 21^(st)floor of a 42-story high-rise building.The test results show that the proposed control strategy can reproduce the target floor motions of the building of interest with less than 20%errors within the specified frequency range. 展开更多

Water table configuration gives rise to hierarchically nested groundwater flow systems.However,there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding the controlling factors of water table and its impact on flow systems.Moreover,it remains challenging to identify characteristics of water table space variation through limited groundwater observations at the regional scale.Based on two ideal two-dimensional cross-section analytical models,this study presents a simplified approach to preliminarily assess the nonlinear interactions between water table variation and three driving factors:Topography,geol-ogy and climate.Two criteria,C1 and C2,are utilized to address issues at different scales ranging from basin to local:(i)the influence of various factors on water table configuration;and(ii)the influence of water table on groundwater flow pattern.Then,the Ordos Plateau is taken as an example to explore the role of the water table in nested groundwater systems using the provided approach and criterion.The applica-tion of this approach in the Ordos Plateau demonstrates its appropriateness as a practical method for prelim-inarily determining the characteristics of water table configuration and its impact on flow systems.The study explores the mechanism influencing spatial variation in the water table and improves understanding of the interaction between topography,geology,and climate on groundwater flow patterns. 展开更多

目的探讨基于应激CPT(cognitive phenomenological transnational)模型和理性情绪理论的游戏服务在学龄期肠造口术患儿中的应用。方法选取本院2020年5月—2022年5月收治的130例学龄期肠造口术患儿作为研究对象,将2020年5月—2021年5月... 目的探讨基于应激CPT(cognitive phenomenological transnational)模型和理性情绪理论的游戏服务在学龄期肠造口术患儿中的应用。方法选取本院2020年5月—2022年5月收治的130例学龄期肠造口术患儿作为研究对象,将2020年5月—2021年5月收治的65例肠造口术患儿列为对照组,将2021年6月—2022年5月收治的65例肠造口术患儿列为观察组。对照组行常规护理,观察组在对照组的基础上实施基于应激CPT模型和理性情绪理论的游戏服务护理措施,观察并比较两组患儿干预后的心理状态、应对方式及遵医行为情况。结果干预后,观察组患儿焦虑、抑郁评分低于对照组(P<0.05);观察组患儿的消极应对各维度评分低于对照组,积极应对各维度评分高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组患儿遵医依从率高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论基于应激CPT模型和理性情绪理论的游戏服务应用于学龄期肠造口患儿临床护理中,可显著缓解患儿的焦虑、抑郁不良情绪,提升其积极应对水平,提高遵医依从性,为患儿获取优质预后起到了重要作用,安全有效,应用简便,值得在临床推广和应用。 展开更多

目的:基于过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体(PPARα)/肉毒碱棕榈酰基转移酶-1(CPT-1)通路探究三子养亲汤对正常高值血压痰湿壅盛证大鼠脂质代谢的影响。方法:将50只Wistar大鼠随机分成空白组10只及造模组40只,空白组给予维持饲料,造模组采用... 目的:基于过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体(PPARα)/肉毒碱棕榈酰基转移酶-1(CPT-1)通路探究三子养亲汤对正常高值血压痰湿壅盛证大鼠脂质代谢的影响。方法:将50只Wistar大鼠随机分成空白组10只及造模组40只,空白组给予维持饲料,造模组采用高脂饲料饲养+高盐(6%盐水)灌胃方式制备正常高值血压痰湿壅盛证大鼠模型,造模8周,模型构建成功后将40只大鼠随机分为模型组及三子养亲汤低、中、高剂量组,每组各10只。其后,空白组给予生理盐水灌胃,造模组继续给予高脂饲料加6%盐水灌胃,同时三子养亲汤各组给予相应浓度水煎液灌胃。灌胃8周后,检测各组大鼠体质量、血压、血脂四项及肝脏生化指标,观察肝脏病理形态及脂质沉积情况,检测大鼠肝脏中PPARα、CPT-1、酰基辅酶A氧化酶(ACOX1)基因和蛋白的表达。结果:与模型组比较,三子养亲汤高剂量组体质量、血压及血清甘油三酯、总胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇、丙氨酸转氨酶、天冬氨酸转氨酶均显著下降(P<0.05或P<0.01)。空白组大鼠肝细胞排列整齐,细胞核形态完整,无红色脂质沉积;模型组大鼠肝细胞排列不整齐,出现细胞核消失的现象,肝细胞内出现部分脂质沉积;三子养亲汤高剂量组肝细胞排列规则、细胞核完整,有较少红色脂质沉积;三子养亲汤中、低剂量组细胞核较完整,肝细胞排列较整齐,有少量红色脂质沉积。与模型组比较,三子养亲汤高剂量组PPARα、CPT-1、ACOX1蛋白表达水平明显升高(P<0.05或P<0.01),中剂量组ACOX1蛋白表达水平升高(P<0.05)。与模型组比较,三子养亲汤高剂量组PPARα、CPT-1、ACOX1mRNA水平升高(P<0.05或P<0.01),三子养亲汤低、中剂量组ACOX1mRNA水平升高(P<0.01)。结论:三子养亲汤可改善正常高值血压痰湿壅盛证大鼠体质量、血压、血脂及肝脏生化指标等。其机制可能与三子养亲汤调控PPARα/CPT-1信号通路,促进脂肪酸氧化分解,进而调控肝脏脂质代谢相关。 展开更多

目的探索脂肪酸降解相关基因肉碱棕榈酰转移酶IA(carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 1A,CPT1A)和肉碱棕榈酰转移酶Ⅱ(carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 2,CPT2)在肾透明细胞癌(clear cell renal cell carcinoma,ccRCC)的表达及意义。方法... 目的探索脂肪酸降解相关基因肉碱棕榈酰转移酶IA(carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 1A,CPT1A)和肉碱棕榈酰转移酶Ⅱ(carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 2,CPT2)在肾透明细胞癌(clear cell renal cell carcinoma,ccRCC)的表达及意义。方法生物信息学分析癌症基因组图谱(The Cancer Genome Atlas,TCGA)、纪念斯隆·凯特琳癌症中心(Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center,MSKCC)的ccRCC数据中脂肪酸降解相关基因及代谢物。采用免疫组化染色和Western blot分析脂肪酸降解关键基因CPT1A、CPT2蛋白表达水平。构建ccRCC组织芯片(n=103),通过CPT1A、CPT2免疫组化染色评分分析二者表达和预后的关系。构建并初步评价预后预测模型。结果生物信息学分析结果显示,CPT1A、CPT2是参与棕榈酰肉碱代谢、脂肪酸氧化及肾癌进展的关键基因。组织芯片和TCGA队列的结果显示:(1)ccRCC中CPT1A和CPT2的表达水平均较正常肾组织降低(P<0.05);(2)免疫组化评分显示CPT1A、CPT2的表达与病理分级(r=-0.243,P=0.013;r=-0.391,P<0.01)和TNM分期(r=-0.363,P<0.01;r=-0.430,P<0.01)负相关;(3)CPT1A、CPT2低表达与较低的无疾病生存率相关(P<0.01)。Cox回归分析结果显示,CPT2表达水平是ccRCC独立预后因素(P<0.01)。TNM-CPT1A、TNM-CPT2预后模型能显著提高TNM分期对预后的预测能力。结论与高表达患者相比,CPT1A、CPT2低表达预示ccRCC患者预后不良。 展开更多

为探讨飞行运行环境中使用持续绩效测试(Continuous Performance Test,CPT)监测长航线飞行员警觉度的稳定性,并确定其实时评估警觉度的准确性,进而为新冠肺炎疫情期间国内航空公司开展疲劳风险管理系统(Fatigue Risk Management System,... 为探讨飞行运行环境中使用持续绩效测试(Continuous Performance Test,CPT)监测长航线飞行员警觉度的稳定性,并确定其实时评估警觉度的准确性,进而为新冠肺炎疫情期间国内航空公司开展疲劳风险管理系统(Fatigue Risk Management System,FRMS)建设过程中疲劳数据采集的科学化提供支持,收集了24名在校男大学生与62名长航线飞行员CPT测试数据。通过分析错分与漏分概率、击中反应时与标准差的组内相关系数(Intra-class Correlation Coefficient,ICC)、最小可检测变化(Minimal Detectable Change,CMD)等14个指标探讨CPT在飞行员警觉度评估中的相对信度与绝对信度。研究表明:CPT在监测飞行员警觉度变化方面的相对信度尚需提升,但绝对信度良好,对选择性注意、持续性警觉、阶段性警觉和持续注意力的变化较为敏感,在长航线飞行运行环境中监测飞行员警觉度具有良好的稳定性。 展开更多

Dominant factors in MiniCone, CPT and pile correlations: A data‐based approach

The cone penetration test(CPT)contributes to the design and analysis of piles regarding geometry,installation effect,and pile capacity(shaft and toe resistance).MiniCone,as an alternative to CPT sounding,has been used to carry outfield and laboratory investigations by physical modeling.More tests can be practically carried out through light equipment and small soil mass,involving fewer errors caused by boundary conditions.Furthermore,it can be used for in situ testing,such as quality control,assessment of ground improvement,and subgrade characterization.A database comprising MiniCone and CPT records infield and physical modeling is proposed with a variety of cone diameters.The case study records in the database have been obtained from 140 tests compiled from data from 26 sources.The sources include the results of 20 physical modelings andfield data from six sites in 10 countries.The data comprise MiniCone and CPT cone tip resistance(qc),and sleeve friction(fs).The different cones are used in sandy,silty sand,and clayey soils via simple chambers(1 g),calibration chambers,and frustum confining vessels.In addition,correlations were found in penetration records in terms of physical modeling types,cone diameters,penetration rates,and soil densities.Moreover,qc and fs are related to capacities of pile toes and shafts using proper correlation coefficients less than unity,respectively.Correlations and dominant factors in geotechnical practice between MiniCone,CPT,and pile have been reviewed and discussed. 展开更多

CPT1A in cancer: Tumorigenic roles and therapeutic implications

Metabolic reprogramming frequently occurs in the majority of cancers,wherein fatty acid oxidation(FAO)is usually induced and serves as a compensatory mechanism to improve energy consumption.Carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1A(CPT1A)is the rate-limiting enzyme for FAO and is widely involved in tumor growth,metastasis,and chemo-/radio-resistance.This review summarizes the most recent advances in understanding the oncogenic roles and mechanisms of CPT1A in tumorigenesis,including in proliferation and tumor growth,invasion and metastasis,and the tumor microenvironment.Importantly,CPT1A has been shown to be a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis prediction and proved to be a candidate therapeutic target,especially for the treatment of drug-and radiation-resistant tumors.In summary,CPT1A plays remarkable roles in promoting cancer progression and is a potential anticancer therapeutic target. 展开更多

Determination method of permafrost table in seasonal frozen soil areas under“Water-Heat-Salt”coupling

The permafrost table is an important index for the design and construction of roads in cold regions,so it is necessary to find a convenient,accurate and fast judgment method to determine the permafrost table.In this study,a three-field coupled model was established based on the hydrothermal salt coupling within the permafrost and the similarity theory,and the changes of the permafrost table under different temperature,moisture and salt conditions were numerically simulated by considering the transient temperature change and the influence of the permafrost layer on the seasonally thawed layer.In addition,an accelerated permafrost table test method was designed based on the time-domain variation and hydrothermal salt coupling by the similarity theory,which rapidly simulated the permafrost table change under different temperatures,moisture,and salts in the natural environment.Comparing the simulation and test results with the measured values in the field,the errors are less than 3%,which verified the feasibility of the method for determining the permafrost table,and the simulated results are better than the test results.Results show that the results of determining the permafrost table with a single index have different degrees of deviation,and the permafrost table obtained by the temperature index is the most accurate in general,and it is more accurate to use the average value of the three indexes as the permafrost table compared with a single index. 展开更多
