An addressee is a mental image existing in the mind of an addresser during the creative process. Having defined its parameters, a translator has an opportunity to deliver the thought of an addresser to an addressee as accurately as possible and to select the means of expression that are clear to an addressee. This paper aims to study the unique interlanguage phonological system of the L1 Cantonese learners of English in GuangdongProvince, including the roles of the differences between native language and target language, language transfer and other constraints dur-ing the interlanguage formation process. An experiment has been designed to test the pronunciation of targeted consonants of the voca-tional college students, who are English majors with Cantonese as native language but are also exposed to Mandarin for a long time. Re-sults show that the sounds that do not exist in native language are easily pronounced incorrectly. The phonological system the subjectsdevelop to substitute the targeted consonants is quite different from that of the L1 Cantonese learners from Hong Kong and is also variedfrom that of the L1 Mandarin learners from other province of China's Mainland. It confirms that the L1 Cantonese learners of English inGuangdong Province do have a unique phonological system in their interlanguage and that special attention should be paid by teachersduring the teaching of English pronunciation. 展开更多

Language, reading, and reading-related tasks were administered to 148 children from lower primary (Standard 1, 2, and 3) in Kenyan schools. The aim was to investigate the literacy developmental trends across the years and establish which of the two variables, word identification skills or target language oral proficiency influenced reading comprehension performance. The results indicated that word identification skills independently influenced reading comprehension performance in both standard 2 and standard 3 classes, but target language oral skills did not. Further, the analysis of invented spelling task performance revealed evidence of transfer of alphabetic coding skills of first language to English orthography. The spelling errors reflected letter-sound patterns not found in English orthography. Analysis of the miscues in the spelling task revealed that children rely on first language phonological processes to spell target language unfamiliar words as long the languages have a common alphabetic system. 展开更多

目标级隐性情感分类是自然语言处理中一项重要的情感分析任务。目前多数研究主要侧重于对上下文感知的目标进行建模,且建模信息源较为单一,难以充分捕获到目标词在文本中的隐性情感。针对该问题,提出基于双重多视角表示学习的目标级隐... 目标级隐性情感分类是自然语言处理中一项重要的情感分析任务。目前多数研究主要侧重于对上下文感知的目标进行建模,且建模信息源较为单一,难以充分捕获到目标词在文本中的隐性情感。针对该问题,提出基于双重多视角表示学习的目标级隐性情感分类方法,采用3种视角对目标和输入文本进行建模,分别设计文本自身的表示学习、图视角下的表示学习以及外部知识视角下的表示学习,并通过卷积神经网络将3种视角下的表示进行深度融合。此外,同时采用上述3种视角对目标进行表示学习,将文本的语义表示和目标的语义表示相结合,并输入到情感极性分类器中。在5个公共数据集上进行实验并与8个基线模型的对比结果表明,该方法性能达到了最优水平,在News MTSC-mt和News MTSC-rw隐性情感分析数据集上的F1_m值分别比最好模型提高1.0%和2.6%,在Laptop14、Restaurant14和Twitter显性情感分析数据集上的F1_m值分别比最好模型提高3.6%、1.4%和1.6%。 展开更多

本文以基于用法的语言习得观和联结主义为基础,采用目的语参照的语料库对比分析方法,考察了不同水平的汉语学习者对“把”字句句法结构类型的使用情况,并比较了不同类型的“把”字句对“把”后名词、动词的选用情况。研究发现:(1)动补... 本文以基于用法的语言习得观和联结主义为基础,采用目的语参照的语料库对比分析方法,考察了不同水平的汉语学习者对“把”字句句法结构类型的使用情况,并比较了不同类型的“把”字句对“把”后名词、动词的选用情况。研究发现:(1)动补式和动宾式是学习者最常用的“把”字句句法结构类型,状动式、动体式次之,连谓式和致使式较少使用,初级学习者对动补式的使用远多于母语者,但对动宾式使用不足。(2)与母语者相比,初中级学习者采用动宾式结构对“把”后名词、采用动补式结构对“把”后动词以及初中高级学习者采用动补式结构对“把”后名词的选用存在较大差异。(3)随着语言水平的提高,学习者对动补式、动宾式“把”字句及其名词、动词成分的选用逐渐接近母语者。 展开更多
