Teachingeffectiveness as a general teaching concept should be manifested based on a practical method. This study begins with the analysesof the effectiveness of English listening and speaking class and the task-based teaching method. It focuses on probing the positivecorrelation between teaching effectiveness and task-based teaching model in College English listening and speaking class. Throughanalyzing and comparing the important indicators of teaching effectiveness and task-based teaching model, the favorablecorrelation between the two can be verified. In conclusion, a few important factors of designing and conducting tasks in Englishlistening and speaking class are highlighted in order to substantially guarantee and enhance teaching effectiveness.展开更多
