And how can scholastic institutions promote it? Kindergarten teachers＇ growth is the unity of continuity and discontinuity. ＂Crisis＂, ＂encounter＂, ＂awaking＂ and ＂exhortation＂ all can break off the continuity of professional growth of kindergarten teachers, put kindergarten teachers＇ growth into the stage of discontinuity, promote the kindergarten teachers to make a positive self adjustment in shocks, and open up a new stage for kindergarten teachers＇ growth. In order to promote kindergarten teachers＇ active self adjustment in shock, and impel kindergarten teachers to step out oftheir＂comfort zone＂, preschool teachers should try their best to overcome the tendency of＂comfort zone＂ and strengthen the spirit of reflection. Developing a professional ethics is crucial towards amassing the ranks of high-quality teachers,which contributes to the improvement of national education.This study bases its analysis on the survey of humanistic qual...Developing a professional ethics is crucial towards amassing the ranks of high-quality teachers,which contributes to the improvement of national education.This study bases its analysis on the survey of humanistic qualities of Chinese citizens.3348 teachers at three different levels from 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities of China are investigated into their professional moral conducts in terms of sense of responsibility and initiative.The result shows that the professional moral levels differ distinctly among teachers from universities,junior or senior high schools and primary schools.The results suggest that professional ethics is vulnerable to external factors.It is essential for the construction of teachers’professional ethics to improve their moral culture.展开更多
This paper highlights Chinese teachers’ethical concerns in their relationships with students,colleagues,and students’parents.Through a qualitative study of 26 teachers,it was found that the teachers were often trapp...This paper highlights Chinese teachers’ethical concerns in their relationships with students,colleagues,and students’parents.Through a qualitative study of 26 teachers,it was found that the teachers were often trapped in a dilemma between teaching to students’real development and teaching to the test.The ethics of professional collaboration were compromised by the dominant norms,including interpersonal harmony and respect for older teachers,and by competition among individual teachers to demonstrate good performance.Moreover,in a situation where parents’trust was diminishing,teachers assumed certain teaching and caring responsibilities for children from disadvantaged families.It is suggested that the professionalization of teachers should provide them with more professional space to transform their ethical considerations into practice.展开更多
