The Effect of Life Skills Training on the Mental Health and Level of Resilience among Teachers of Normal Students and Teachers of Exceptional Students in Zahedan

This is an experimental study conducted on two groups of control and experimental using pretestposttest design, applying psychological intervention on the study sample. The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of collective education life skills on mental health and resilience of teachers in Zahedan. The population of the study included all teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students in Zahedan, among which 60 teachers at normal schools and 20 teachers at exceptional schools were selected and placed in two groups of experimental and control, respectively. Initially, members of the experimental group were taught 10 basic life skills in 10 2-hour sessions. Mental health and resilience questionnaires were distributed and gathered before and after the training sessions. Results indicated the positive effect of life skills training on mental health of teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, which meant that the more the life skills training to teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, the lower their mental health scores would be. Results also indicated the positive effect of life skills training on resilience of teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, which meant that the more the life skills training to teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, the higher their resilience scores would be. 展开更多

Although much research has been conducted on the interactions between the career development of foreign language teachers and their contexts around the world,a literature review reveals that there exists scanty research on the relationship between university Russian language teachers’career development and their contexts in China since 1949.Based on relevant studies on the career development of foreign language teachers and the ecological theory,this paper involves research on the impact that different ecological systems(micro-,meso-,macro-and exo-ones)have played in the career development of Russian language teachers in China.Participants are 10 Chinese Russian teachers of different ages from different universities in different parts of China.Via literature review,narration methods and semi-structured(in-depth)interviews with the help of NVivo,this research finds that Russian language teachers’career development results from multi-faceted interactions of the following contexts:ideology,Russian language educational policies and personal factors as well as college contexts.This paper concludes with some suggestions for improving Russian language teachers’career development in China. 展开更多

吸引优秀教师担任班主任是当前中小学教师队伍建设中的重要议题。通过对北京市A区1567名中小学教师的调查发现:教师的班主任任职意愿偏低,58.9%的教师不愿意担任班主任;相对而言,城镇教师、低学历教师、高职称教师以及高中教师等亚群体... 吸引优秀教师担任班主任是当前中小学教师队伍建设中的重要议题。通过对北京市A区1567名中小学教师的调查发现:教师的班主任任职意愿偏低,58.9%的教师不愿意担任班主任;相对而言,城镇教师、低学历教师、高职称教师以及高中教师等亚群体的班主任任职意愿更低;影响班主任任职意愿的因素复杂多样,职业承诺、匹配和牺牲具有显著的正向预测效应,其夏普利分解值贡献率居于前三位。要提高教师的班主任任职意愿,可考虑采取如下举措:加强班主任人力资源开发,优先关注重点人群;改善班主任工作设计,提高班主任岗位本身的吸引力;进一步推动绩效工资改革,加大向班主任的倾斜力度。 展开更多

在职业教育高质量发展背景下,打造高素质的职教教师队伍迫在眉睫。高素质职教教师队伍的建设,高度依赖于教师企业实践这样一种制度化活动。虽然国家层面已经出台了一系列教师企业实践政策,但相关政策却在现实层面遭遇落实困境。研究发现... 在职业教育高质量发展背景下,打造高素质的职教教师队伍迫在眉睫。高素质职教教师队伍的建设,高度依赖于教师企业实践这样一种制度化活动。虽然国家层面已经出台了一系列教师企业实践政策,但相关政策却在现实层面遭遇落实困境。研究发现,专业发展价值认同与实际价值不匹配的矛盾,导致教师企业实践难以“内化于心”;教师深度实践与职业资源获取不匹配的矛盾,导致教师企业实践难以“外化于行”。一方面,需要全方位提高教师企业实践活动本身的质量,强化企业实践对教师专业发展的促进作用。另一方面,需要加大学校层面对教师企业实践的组织支持力度,满足教师通过企业实践获取职业资源的需求。 展开更多

为探讨交叠影响域视角下父母疏离对中职生生涯适应力的影响及其作用机制,采用青少年依恋量表中文版、生涯适应力量表、学生感知教师支持行为量表、同伴支持量表和认知融合量表,对1 269名中职生进行了问卷调查。结果发现:父母疏离与生涯... 为探讨交叠影响域视角下父母疏离对中职生生涯适应力的影响及其作用机制,采用青少年依恋量表中文版、生涯适应力量表、学生感知教师支持行为量表、同伴支持量表和认知融合量表,对1 269名中职生进行了问卷调查。结果发现:父母疏离与生涯适应力、教师支持、同伴支持均呈显著负相关,与认知融合呈显著正相关;教师支持和同伴支持在中职生父母疏离与生涯适应力之间起着并行中介作用,且教师支持的中介作用大于同伴支持;认知融合可调节同伴支持与中职生生涯适应力之间的关系,但不可调节教师支持与中职生生涯适应力之间的关系。因此,中等职业学校应综合考虑家庭、教师、同伴以及个体心理等多重因素,形成一个全方位、多角度的教育支持体系,以有效提升中职生的生涯适应力。 展开更多
