College English Teachers’ Beliefs on Network-based Language Learning

The advantages and disadvantages for learning English in the Network-based environment attract most researchers’concern nowadays.This study profiles college English teachers’beliefs about the networkbased language learning.The main finding is that teachers’beliefs about network-based language learning are heterogeneous and thus reflect a wide range in terms of the evolution of approaches and technology use.

The Effects of Work Ethics, Transformational and Transactional Leadership on Work Performance of Teachers

Teacher performance is an important factor to improve education performance. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the work ethics, transformational, and transactional leadership style on teacher performance. The experiment was conducted in public high school No. 112 Jakarta. A total of 50 teachers were included as samples, where they were given the questionnaires to be filled by self-rating. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression model and processed with SPSS version 20. Results showed that transformational leadership, transactional leadership and work ethics have positive and significant impacts on teacher performance both simultaneously and individually.

Relationship Between Work Stress and Mental Health of Middle School Teachers in Guangzhou

This study mainly discusses the relationship between middle school teachers’mental health and work stress in Guangzhou.This study uses questionnaire survey method to examine 237 teachers in Guangzhou,and adopts SPSS26.0 to conduct independent sample t-test,ANOVA,correlation analysis,and regression analysis to draw the conclusion.The results show that:(1)The work pressure of middle school teachers in Guangzhou is above the medium level,and their mental health is at the middle level.(2)Under the influence of different gender,position,age,teaching years,and teaching objects,the pressure of middle school teachers is different.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between teachers’work stress and the dimensions of self-confidence loss and social dysfunction of mental health.(4)Work stress can effectively predict the level of mental health.Therefore,we need to understand the pressure sources of middle school teachers to develop measures to alleviate the pressure of teachers and improve the mental health of middle school teachers.

INFLUENCE OF COLD-WORKING AND HEAT TREATING ON ELASTIC PROPERTIES OF Nb AND Nb-BASE ALLOYS

The elastic limit of single-phase alloy Nb-2Mo-2Zr-1Ti is higher as recovered state in comparison with as cold-rolled or recrystallized one.For Nb-40Ti-5.5AI alloy of age-hardening type,the elastic limit is lower as cold-rolled state,but increases considerably after proper aging.However,its elastic modulus changes no more,so the stored-energy (σ_e^2/E)may raise significantly.The temperature dependence on elastic modulus for pure Nb as intensely cold-worked or recrystallized state is anomalous.This anomaly may disap- pear after recovered treatment of intensely cold-worked state at 600℃ for 4 h.and may change no more after that of recrystallized state.The anomalous behaviour of elasticity was also discussed on the non-magnetic Nb.

Why Did the Reform Fail?The Impact of the Personnel System Reform on Teachers in Jia County of China

Over recent years,the reform-driven development of education has been one primary idea of the Chinese government under the leadership of Xi Jinping.Above all,the reform of the personnel system,closely related to the interests of teachers,becomes the most sensitive link in the educational reform.To root out the restriction of education system on teachers and enhance their enthusiasm for work,Jia County carried out a reform of teacher personnel system from 2013 to 2016,including breaking the hierarchical restriction on teachers’administrative promotion,decentralizing the power of confirming the teachers’professional titles,eliminating the teachers with the worst performances,practicing performance salary,and other measures.In this study,we tracked 627 teachers regarding their work enthusiasm and stress during the three-year reform,analyzed the data through the Hierarchical Linear Model(HLM),and found that:(1)The teachers’enthusiasm for work increased over time,but did not significantly change with the consideration of the influence of the principals’leadership in teaching.The personnel system reform aiming at motivating teachers failed to work as expected.(2)The teachers’work stress still increased year by year.Therefore,this study concludes that the reform in Jia County failed to fulfill its goals and that the vigorous top-down reform did not lead to ideal results.A reason might be that the reform damaged the vested interests of teachers who represent the deep-rooted nepotism typically in the Chinese education community.Reforms of educational personnel system should give schools a full play regarding educational governance in the future.

The Development of Gear Pump CAD/CAPP Based on Solid Works

Nowadays, many kinds of software, which have succes sf ully created the integration of CAD, CAPP and CAM, find their disadvantages in p ractical manufacturing. As a result, it is welcomed to develop small CAD/CAPP sy stems on a proper CAD platform, which aim at requirements of factories. Based on the one of the most popular three-dimensional design software SolidWorks, we successfully developed a set of gear pump CAD /CAPP software for Huaiyin Gene ral Factory of Mechanics. 1 The architecture and function of the software According to the need of the enterprises, the general structure of the software contain two subsystems, which are detailed as follows: · The gear pump CAD subsystem contains four main modules, including the optiona l design module of gear pump, module of part design, the module of entity modeli ng and the module of drawing which creates 2 D drawings of parts and assembly c orresponding 3 D modals. · The gear pump CAPP subsystem, which is a combination of creative mode and der ivate mode, also includes four modules, they are the module of access to feature s, the module of planning process route, the module of designing process sheets and the module of generating process documents. 2 The developing environment of the system Basing on Windows 98 and SolidWorks2001 platform, this system creates all functi ons by using Visual C++ 6.0 as developing tools. 3 The keys to the CAD/CAPP integration 3.1 The establishment of product information modal The information of parts is the basis of process planning. In this system, we us e feature modeling to describe the information of parts and assembly of gear pum p, and set up a fundamental basis for the whole system. The information module o f gear pump includes the information of both the assembly and the parts; the par t-describing module uses four-layer structure that is subassembly layer, part layer, feature layer and geometric layer. 3.2 The operation of the information on feature modeling After establishment of information mode of gear pump, the next key problem is ho w to transmit information of product to CAPP subsystem. In order to integrate pe rfectly, connecting CAD with CAPP directly can be a good method. In this system, all information of parts is store in the part drawing files, and the CAPP syste m can load these files to get information. The gear pumps, which are produced by Huaiyin General Factory of Mechanics, are usually belong to several similar typ es, and this means that most products possess large number of similar feature. T herefore, we can easily establish a specific feature for gear pump CAD/CAPP syst em. All parts are created by selecting these features and/or adding few special features. In the module of access to feature of CAPP subsystem, the main task is to find the features and the information will be easily got. 4 Conclusion This system successfully creates gear pump CAD/CAPP integration based on SolidWo rks. 3D CAD software provide more convenient platform for integration and will i nevitably become the mainstream of product design. By developing this system, we clearly realize the promising future of SolidWorks.

Teacher's Role in Students'Group Work in College English Classroom

The implementation of group work in China is aroused by the teaching reform and proposal of the New Curriculum Standard, in order to improve the language teaching and learning. However, in many cases group work is far less effective and desirable than it should have been. The effectiveness of group work depends on many factors in real language classroom setting. This paper mainly focuses on the factor of teacher's role. The main implication of this paper is to suggest the appropriate teacher role in students'group work and put forward some skills in organizing group work in order to make group work more effective and significant.

A Framework for Web-Based Mechanical Design and Analysis

In this paper, a Web-based Mechanical Design and A na lysis Framework (WMDAF) is proposed. This WMADF allows designers to develop web -based computer aided programs in a systematic way during the collaborative mec hanical system design and analysis process. This system is based on an emerg ing web-based Content Management System (CMS) called eXtended Object Oriented P ortal System (XOOPS). Due to the Open Source Status of the XOOPS CMS, programs d eveloped with this framework can be further customized to satisfy the demands of the user. To introduce the use of this framework, this paper exams three differ ent types of mechanical design and analysis problems. First, a repetitive design consideration and calculation process is transferred into WMADF programs to gai n efficiency for wired collaborative team. Second, the considered product solid model is created directly through the use of XOOPS program and Microsoft Compone nt Object Model (COM) instances. To the end of the paper, an example linked with ANSYS is used to indicate the possible application of this framework.

Accounting for Heterogeneity in Stop Frequency Models of Work Tours Using Latent Class Poisson Models

Stop frequency models, as one of the elements of activity based models, represent an important part of travel behavior. Unobserved heterogeneity across the travelers should be taken into consideration to prevent biasedness and inconsistency in the estimated parameters in the stop frequency models. Additionally, previous studies on the stop frequency have mostly been done in larger metropolitan areas and less attention has been paid to the areas with less population. This study addresses these gaps by using 2012 travel data from a medium sized U.S. urban area using the work tour for the case study. Stop in the work tour were classified into three groups of outbound leg, work based subtour, and inbound leg of the commutes. Latent Class Poisson Regression Models were used to analyze the data. The results indicate the presence of heterogeneity across the commuters. Using latent class models significantly improves the predictive power of the models compared to regular one class Poisson regression models. In contrast to one class Poisson models, gender becomes insignificant in predicting the number of tours when unobserved heterogeneity is accounted for. The commuters are associated with increased stops on their work based subtour when the employment density of service-related occupations increases in their work zone, but employment density of retail employment does not significantly contribute to the stop making likelihood of the commuters. Additionally, an increase in the number of work tours was associated with fewer stops on the inbound leg of the commute. The results of this study suggest the consideration of unobserved heterogeneity in the stop frequency models and help transportation agencies and policy makers make better inferences from such models.

Implementing explicit pronunciation instruction: The case of a nonnative English-speaking teacher (Ⅰ)

Studies in second language teacher cognition(SLTC)of pronunciation teachers have increased in the last 10 years,due mainly to the fact that the decisions teachers make about explicit instruction are critical for the development of second language(L2)pronunciation in learners.Although recent research has indicated that nonnative-speaking teachers(NNSTs)can be as effective as native-speaking teachers(NSTs)in pronunciation instruction,and that their training needs resemble those of NSTs,the way NNSTs implement L2 pronunciation instruction has not been studied extensively.This is important to understand given the number of NNsTs of English worldwide at present,and because of the potential benefits of nonnative-speaking pronunciation teaching models in general.In this study,I analysed the way an experienced NNST implemented explicit pronunciation instruction in a context of English as a foreign language(EFL)to understand both his actual teaching practices and the rationale behind such practices.Using a framework of knowledge base of language teaching,this study demonstrates how factors such as previous teaching and learning experiences,teaching context,and L2 learner characteristics shaped and guided the techniques the teacher implemented in class.These results are discussed in terms of implications for pronunciation teaching and teacher training purposes.

基于SolidWorks的设备集成舱基座有限元应力分析

针对FPSO水下检测中对集成式工作舱的应用需求,通过SolidWorks软件建立了集成式工作舱三维模型,依据设备分布情况对其结构进行设计及分析,并通过SolidWorks Simulation对集成式工作舱基座的复杂受力位置进行应力应变分析和针对性的优化基座设计。计算结果表明,吊机载荷对基座的影响主要体现在底板与底横梁接触面,应力、位移、应变分析有力证明了不同结构的受力差异,优化设计结构能将吊机对基座的载荷均衡分配和降低局部极限受力。研究提出的优化设计方案对集成式工作舱在复杂海洋环境应用有实际指导意义。

Humanoid Based Intelligence Control Strategy of Plastic Cement Die Press Work-Piece Forming Process for Polymer Plastics

The plastic cement belongs to a sort of polymer material, the chemical composition is very complex, and the plastic cement work-piece is generally manufactured by die press forming. Aimed at being difficult to control in parameters of forming process, the paper explored the humanoid based intelligence control strategy. In the paper, it made the anatomy in control puzzle resulted in uncertainty such as chemical component of plastic cement etc., summarized up the characteristic of cybernetics in forming process, researched on the humanoid based intelligence control strategy, and constructed the control algorithm of forming process in plastic cement work-piece. Taking the process experiment of temperature and pressure control as an example, it validated the good dynamic and static control quality through simulation of control algorithm constructed in this paper. The experimental results show that the control algorithm explored in this paper is reasonably available.

A Comparison Between the Teacher's Role in the Task-based Language Teaching and that in the Traditional Language Teaching

This paper talks about the different teacher's role between traditional language teaching and task-based language teaching. Atthe beginning we will compare the teacher's role in terms of language theory and language teaching theory. The traditional teaching ob-jective is teaching the grammar. The teacher is the guider of the grammar. In the new English curriculum syllabus, the teaching objectiveis to train students' communicative competence. The teacher is the organizer of the teaching. In the traditional language teaching proce-dure, the teacher is authority and dictator. In the task-based approach, the teacher is equal to the students. In the traditional languageteaching activities, the teaching activities are boring; the teacher is the leader of the class. In the task-based approach, the teacher is thearranger of the task also they are the helpers and cooperators of completing the task.

医院合理用药信息化建设创新实践

目的提高医院药事管理效能,促进临床合理用药。方法医院药学部以原有合理用药信息化系统知识库为基础,建立了以问题为导向的双联合工作机制,主要表现为信息药师针对临床药师事后点评发现的用药问题建立管控方案,编写管控规则,不断完善知识库,通过信息化在处方和医嘱前置审核环节进行管控。在此基础上,对重点项目(如门诊适应证、围术期抗菌药物、抗肿瘤药物管理等)建立系统管控方案。结果2020年至2022年,共改进、优化基础知识库规则5266项,建立了具备564项自定义规则的自定义知识库;实现合理用药信息化系统版本升级4次,系统创新与改进32项;门诊/住院次均药品费用增幅、门诊处方合理率、住院医嘱合理率、抗菌药物使用强度等药事管理指标改善明显。结论构建全面的合理用药监管体系,能有效提升医院药事管理水平与药学服务能力,促进临床合理用药水平的提升。
