Study on Constructivist Approach of Learning and Teaching from a Perspective of Intersubjectivity

This paper makes an investigation on the constructivist point of view towards learning and teaching from the perspective of subjectivity and intersubjectivity. The process of learning and teaching is conducted by both groups,learners and teachers. Therefore,the intersubjectivity between learners and teachers play an important role. The learner-centered approach in teaching not only weakens teachers 'role,but also is not good for the development of learners'subjectivity.

Achieve Intended Learning Outcomes and Improving Digital Literacy Skills for Practical-Based Subjects Using Online Teaching via Propagation of OER Materials

As professors are subjected to teaching their classes online due to the recent COVID-19, our local Hong Kong students find it difficult to consult their teachers, and ultimately would fail to achieve the intended learning outcomes, especially for practical-based subjects. In this research, students having online classes of a practical-based fabric design subject were encouraged to self-study from Open Educational Resource (OER) materials for a further and better understanding of their subject. Additionally, online materials were developed to improve students’ understanding via skill of digital literacy. Their learning progress was evaluated and compared to the face-to-face version. The majority of students found online classes combined with self-studying OER materials, potentially be a substitute for face-to-face classes. Most of the students further opined different OER videos assisted them without any face-to-face instructions in practical works, to develop new fabric samples from the inspiration. Analysis of test results, and comparison of students’ final grades with different learning modes, supported these phenomena.

Considerations on Speaking Skills： Essence of Learning and Teaching Speaking

Acquisition of speaking Turkish students since skills is among the most essential language skills for students currently, especially among language competency is measured through speaking. Every language learner desires to acquire correct communicative skills and fluency in speaking, while teachers aim to give the necessary education in speaking, as well. This study reveals the essence of acquiring speaking competency for learners, and how important it is to teach speaking skills with correct methods and methodology. With the questionnaire analysis on Turkish students and teachers at a Turkish university, the theoretical knowledge on ＂essence＂ is blended with the questionnaire results provided from students and teachers in order to emphasize the necessity and reach more practical solutions for the current need of learning and teaching speaking.

Marxism holds that the internal essence of culture lies in the inherent identity of culture and man,and in the spiritual essence of man and that there would be no culture without man and man’s spirit.From the perspective of the source of culture,it is man’s transcendence over nature.From the point of view of the process of its evolution,it is the sum of all human social relationships.Culture has the characteristics of man’s sociality and is shared by an entire cultural community.The essential complexity of culture is the logical expression of human thinking,and the logic reflection of cultural practice.Cultural practice,i.e.,human practice,is influenced and constrained not only by external practice,but also by the consciousness of man himself.Such two-way internal and external effects determine the particular law and logic of culture itself in its development,i.e.,the dialectical unity between decisiveness and selectivity,and between nationality and cosmopolitanness,in the development of culture;the dialectical unity between the consistency of basic trends in terms of the law of cultural development and the diversity of choices of paths;and the dialectical unity between diversity and unity concerning paths for the development of culture.

A Study of the Cultivation of English Cultural Awareness in High School——Based on the Core Competencies and Values of English

Cultural awareness is the basis of communication,and it includes our own cultural values,beliefs and the ability to perceive the world.When students learn English and communicate with people from English culture,cultural awareness becomes very important.Meanwhile,National English Curriculum Standards for General High School puts cultural awareness in the key position of the Core Competencies and Values of English subjects.At present,the academic research and analysis on the Core Competencies and Values of English mainly focus on the language ability,learning ability and students’learning motivation.This paper intends to explore the cultivation of high school students’English cultural awareness through qualitative research and literature collation and there are 5 parts totally in this paper.The first part is the introduction,introducing the background of cultural consciousness and the significance of research.The second part is a literature review,analyzing the previous opinions both domestically and internationally.The third part is a review of cultural consciousness,summarizing the theory,historical development and main genres of cultural consciousness.The fourth part is the exploration of the cultivation of cultural awareness,including the requirements,the problems and methods of the cultivation of cultural awareness in high school English teaching.The fifth part is the conclusion,which advocates the cultivation of cultural consciousness and the development of English subject through the summary and reflection.The significance of this paper lies in the majority of teachers to create a harmonious teaching environment,facilitate the students’cultural awareness,improve high school students’cultural understanding and cultural awareness,as well as improve high school students’English discipline Core Competencies and Values so that it could benefit the development of English in our country.

A Study of EFL Reading Teaching in Senior High Schools Based on Key Competencies of Subject

With the release of English Curriculum Standards for Senior High School,the cultivation of students’key competencies of English subject has become the major concern of many English teachers in senior high schools.As an important part of English teaching,reading teaching is supposed to take the responsibility of helping students form key competencies.In this study,the current situation of English reading teaching in senior high schools is investigated to find out whether English teachers fully and efficiently carry out the cultivation of key competencies of English subject in practical teaching.Data from questionnaires and interviews of teachers indicate practical problems exist in cultivating students’key competencies in English subject in senior high school,so teachers need to have a further understanding of them and take more innovative activities to help students develop their language competence,cultural disposition,thinking quality and learning ability.

立足学科做好跨学科主题学习的三个关键问题

跨学科主题学习是《义务教育课程方案(2022年版)》提出的课程改革新措施。实施跨学科主题学习,必须把握好其与学科的关系。跨学科主题学习要主动“跨出去”以加强学科间的关联,还要“跨回来”以促进学科学习的拓展和深化。跨学科主题学习既要关注真实问题的解决,又要关注是否承载了学科的重要内容。跨学科主题学习既要自觉落实学生在教学中的主体地位,又要充分发挥教师的主导作用,支持学生在综合学习和运用人类历史文化成果的过程中发展自身的主体性。

英藏“主语”比较与英文教学中Subject一词藏译略考

随着西部大开发的深入和对外开放的脚步日益加快,西藏自治区语言教育从原来的"双语教育"逐步迈向藏汉英"三语教育"模式。在以拉萨为主的中心城市培养了大批适应新时代的人才,取得了显著成效。然而,边缘农牧区的藏族学生,由于受到语言环境、师资条件等诸多不利因素的制约,作为英语课堂媒介语的汉语基础薄弱,给第三语学习带来了难以逾越的障碍。文章旨在通过对藏、英双语句法的直接对比和教学术语的研究与探讨,为正在或即将在农牧区从事一线英文教学工作的同行提供参考,对少数民族地区"三语教育"的成功实施具有一定的借鉴意义。

课程思政背景下管理学“双主式”教学模式探究

职前教师学科教学知识的认知:困境、原因与改进策略

职前教师学科教学知识的认知包括学科知识认知与教学实践两个层面。研究基于9位职前教师的27次反思报告,运用质性研究方法,通过分析职前教师对学科知识的诠释、重组、呈现,探究职前教师学科知识认知与教学实践之间的关系,并阐释职前教师学科教学知识的认知困境与原因。研究发现,如果职前教师未能意识到学科知识的独立性和专业性,则很难恰当地将学科知识融入教学实践,以致教学实践中存在学科知识欠缺的现象。故教师培养者应补充相关的学科知识,以帮助职前教师形成合理、整体、全面的学科教学知识;职前教师应深化、重组学科知识认知,调整审视教学内容的视角并在教学实践中恰当地呈现学科知识。

On Developing Study Motivation in English Language Teaching

Teaching activities are part of motivation in English classes. The teacher of language should have a good influence on students and develop students＇ keen interest in study in order to strengthen their intrinsic motivation, and set up some new goals for students to pursue and give the feedback to reinforce their inner drive and confidence. Thus, students will become major conductors, make full use of their potentials and enhance their study results.

高校教学共同体:内涵特征、价值意蕴与推进路径——基于人类命运共同体视角

基于人类命运共同体视角,高校教学共同体的理论构想值得探索。从高校教学共同体的内涵出发,引申出高校教学共同体的特征,即主体间的相互依存性、资源与利益的共享性、教学生态的可持续发展性、治理过程的协同性。在明晰高校教学共同体的价值意蕴基础上,有必要重塑相互认同的教学主体关系,构建制度吸纳的教学资源共享机制,构筑可持续发展教学生态,以及以数字赋能强化教学过程,协同高校教学共同体的推进路径,进而实现“加快高质量教育体系建设”的战略目标。
