Nowadays,it is extremely urgent for the software engineering education to cultivate the knowledge and ability of database talents in the era of big data.To this end,this paper proposes a talent training teaching modal...Nowadays,it is extremely urgent for the software engineering education to cultivate the knowledge and ability of database talents in the era of big data.To this end,this paper proposes a talent training teaching modality that integrates knowledge,ability,practice,and innovation(KAPI)for Database System Course.The teaching modality contains three parts:top-level design,course learning process,and course assurance and evaluation.The top-level design sorts out the core knowledge of the course and determines a mixed online and offline teaching platform.The course learning process emphasizes the correspondence transformation relationship between core knowledge points and ability enhancement,and the course is practiced in the form of experimental projects to finally enhance students’innovation consciousness and ability.The assurance and evaluation of the course are based on the outcome-based education(OBE)orientation,which realizes the objective evaluation of students’learning process and final performance.The teaching results of the course in the past 2 years show that the KAPI-based teaching modality has achieved better results.Meanwhile,students are satisfied with the evaluation of the modality.The teaching modality in this paper helps to stimulate students’initiatives,and improve their knowledge vision and practical ability,and thus helps to cultivate innovative and high-quality engineering talents required by the emerging engineering education.展开更多

Most colleges and universities in China have basically achieved the popularity of computer multimedia classrooms and campus networks. However, according to researches(Xia, 2002), most teachers still hold the main role of them in classes as"language interpreter"and"language instructor". Although advanced computer technology has been provided, most teachers feel confused or difficult in using it to assist their English teaching efficiently. As a consequence, computer technology fail to play its role in English classes. Driven by the great development of science and technology, computer has brought about incredible changes in every aspect of social life since 1980 s. In current times, almost every aspect of college students' life has been closely associated with computer. However, in most situations, computer is not taken as a typical language learning tool in their daily life. It is known that most students' English basis is relatively weak in vocational colleges; meanwhile, the way in which they learned English during the middle school period was basically translation- based teaching. Thus they have little or even no interest in English learning at all. In this way, discovering a new and interesting way with the aid of computer to learn English is of essential importance. Based on this, the paper discusses five major aspects under the circumstance of computer-assisted English learning. Objective: As part of an investigation and analysis of the study weariness of nursing vocational college students, the authors attempted to reform the teaching mode of a Nursing Basic Technolo-gy course to solve the p...Objective: As part of an investigation and analysis of the study weariness of nursing vocational college students, the authors attempted to reform the teaching mode of a Nursing Basic Technolo-gy course to solve the problem of study weariness in vocational college students. Methods: The authors designed student questionnaires to investigate study weariness in 128 nurs-ing vocational college students. Results: Of the 128 students, 58 were tired of study, accounting for 45. 3%; 40 students often had weariness, accounting for 31. 3%; and 71 students had moderate or severe weariness, accounting for 55. 5%. Seventy-five students played on their mobile phone when they were tired of studying. Conclusions: The study weariness of vocational college students is a common phenomenon that has been developing rapidly. There are many factors that cause study weariness of professional college students. The students believe that the traditional teaching method is the main reason for study weariness. Reform of the teaching mode in a Nursing Basic Technology course effectively solved the learning problems of vocational college students. Teaching experiments for reform may have marked effects, and they are worthy of promoting.展开更多

Results: Of the 128 students, 58 were tired of study, accounting for 45. 3%; 40 students often had weariness, accounting for 31. 3%; and 71 students had moderate or severe weariness, accounting for 55. 5%. Seventy-five students played on their mobile phone when they were tired of studying. Conclusions: The study weariness of vocational college students is a common phenomenon that has been developing rapidly. There are many factors that cause study weariness of professional college students. The students believe that the traditional teaching method is the main reason for study weariness. Reform of the teaching mode in a Nursing Basic Technology course effectively solved the learning problems of vocational college students. Teaching experiments for reform may have marked effects, and they are worthy of promoting.
