Multimodal medical image fusion can help physicians provide more accurate treatment plans for patients,as unimodal images provide limited valid information.To address the insufficient ability of traditional medical image fusion solutions to protect image details and significant information,a new multimodality medical image fusion method(NSST-PAPCNNLatLRR)is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the high and low-frequency sub-band coefficients are obtained by decomposing the source image using NSST.Then,the latent low-rank representation algorithm is used to process the low-frequency sub-band coefficients;An improved PAPCNN algorithm is also proposed for the fusion of high-frequency sub-band coefficients.The improved PAPCNN model was based on the automatic setting of the parameters,and the optimal method was configured for the time decay factor ae.The experimental results show that,in comparison with the five mainstream fusion algorithms,the new algorithm has significantly improved the visual effect over the comparison algorithm,enhanced the ability to characterize important information in images,and further improved the ability to protect the detailed information;the new algorithm has achieved at least four firsts in sixobjectiveindexes. 展开更多

Influence of technological parameters on coating speed of Pb-GF composite wire

The technological parameters have important effects on molding process of lead-clad glass fiber composite wire. If the extrusion force, temperature and gap size are too large or small, a dead zone will form in the front of the inlet mold orifice, and the continuous clad extrusion and coating speed will be influenced. Under the condition of equal flow, the maximum and minimum theoretical values of the extrusion force, temperature and gap size are studied. The results show that the gap size is a key parameter that affects the continuous clad extrusion and coating speed when the extrusion force and temperature are kept constant. The maximum value (H_ max) of gap size is 0.50mm and the minimum one (H_ min) is 0.12mm. At a gap size of 0.17mm or 0.29mm, the maximum of metal extrusion per unit time and optimal coating speed can be obtained when the extrusion temperature is 300℃ and the extrusion force is 450kN. 展开更多

Physical and Technological Parameters of Maize Varieties (Zea mays L.) Grown in the Southern Parts of Benin and the Influence of Chemical Composition

Objective: The study aims to investigate some physical and technological parameters of varieties of maize collected from the most representative areas of maize production in the southern part of Benin, and mainly used by the populations of those areas. Method: The chemical composition, physical and technological characteristics of the grains were determined using standard methods. Results: The results showed that the weight of 1000 grains ranges from 158.01 to 305.12 g, the length from 0.79 to 1.81 cm, the average width from 0.74 to 1.51 cm, thickness from 0.36 to 0.85 cm and density from 1.07 to 1.25. Regarding the technological parameters, the hardness of the grains before and after cooking was between 16.78 and 47.20 kgf, and 0.23 and 0.71 kgf respectively, while the cooking time varies from 71.00 and 158.33 mn. There was a positive and significant correlation (r = 0.405;p < 0.026) between the hardness after cooking and the weight of 1000 grains, between the hardness after cooking and grain width (r = 0.460;p < 0.011). A positive and highly significant correlation (r = 0.527, p < 0.003) was also observed between the hardness after cooking and the grain length, between the hardness after cooking and the thickness of grain (r = 0.476, p < 0.008), and between the grain density and the weight of 1000 grains (r = 0.481, p < 0.007). A positive and highly significant correlation (r = 0.923, p < 0.000) was also observed between maize grain length and width, and between grain length and grain thickness (r = 0.764, p < 0.000) and between the width and thickness (r = 0.764, p < 0.000). On the other hand, a significant negative correlation (r = -0.394, p < 0.031) was found between the hardness before cooking and the thickness and between the hardness before cooking and sphericity index (r = -0465*, p Conclusion: Through its chemical and technological characteristics the maize constitutes an important raw material for many culinary recipes in West African region. 展开更多

The particle size of starting materials, the homogeneity of the carbon/oxide mixtures, and the carbon content are important parameters for a rapid reaction. The influences of technological parameters(carbon particle size, oxide particle size, mixing method, carbon content) on the reaction rate of carbothermal reduction and nitridation of titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) were investigated by a continuous thermo-gravimetric analyzer for large size specimen. The carbon particle size is the most impor tant parameter for a rapid reaction, but carbon particle may have no influence on the morphology of titanium nitride (TiN) powder. Oxide particles are the precursors of TiN powder, but the TiO2 particles size has very little influence on the reaction rate. The carbon content not only influences the reaction rate to some degree, but also influences the purity of TiN powder. The mixing method of the specimen has very little influence on the reaction rate. These results are suitable for other nitrides and carbides prepared by carbothermal reduction method. 展开更多

To find out the influence of technological parameters on optical performance of fused optical fiber device, the fiber coupler was served as subject investigated by using the fused biconical taper machining as experimental setup. Fused fiber coupler's optical performances such as insertion loss, excess loss, directivity and uniformity were tested with the optical test system that was constituted of tunable laser and optical spectrum analyzer. Especially the relationship between optical performance and drawing speed was investigated. The experimental results show that the optical performance is closely related to process conditions. At fused temperature of 1 200 ℃, there exists a drawing speed of 150 μms, which makes the device's performance optimum. Out of this speed region, the optical performance drops quickly. At drawing speed of 200 μms, the excess loss is relatively small when the fused temperature is above 1 200 ℃. So the technological parameters have close relationship with optical performance of the coupler, and the good performance coupler can't get until the drawing speed and fused temperature match accurately. 展开更多

Coalbed gas extraction is an important means of exploiting and utilizing gas resources,as well as a means of preventing coal mine disasters.In view of the low gas extraction rate from coalbeds with high gas content and low permeability,a method of improving permeability through deep-hole cumulative blasting is applied to develop initial directional fractures using a jet flow.Under the action of the blasting stress wave and detonation gas wedge,the fractures extend over a large range within the coal,thereby improving coalbed permeability.This study focuses on the criteria of cumulative blasting-induced coalbed fracturing based on a literature review of the penetration effect of cumulative blasting.On this basis,we summarize the coal fracturing zone,crack extension process,and the key technologies of charging and hole sealing for cumulative blasting.In addition,the latest research progress in the optimization of field test drilling and blasting parameters for cumulative blasting is introduced.Research findings indicate that the permeability improvement mechanism of cumulative blasting could be further enhanced,and the technology and technical equipment are in urgent need of improvement.Finally,development trends in the cumulative blasting permeability improvement technique are identified. 展开更多

These interactions are essential to the development and establishment of technologies. This article seeks to understand the attempts of healthcare organisations to integrate use contexts into the design of healthcare technologies following insights of the theoretical approaches of social learning and user representations. We present a multiple case study of three healthcare technologies involved in improving elderly care practice. These cases were part of a Dutch quality improvement collaborative program, which urged that development of these technologies was not “just” development, but should occur in close collaboration with other parts of the collaborative program, which were more focused on implementation. These cases illustrate different ways to develop technologies in interaction with use contexts and users. Despite the infrastructure of the collaborative program, interactions were not without problems. We conclude by arguing that interactions between design and use are not naturally occurring phenomena, but must be actively organised in order to create effects. 展开更多

Experiments of DSAEF_LTP Model with Two Improved Parameters for Accumulated Precipitation of Landfalling Tropical Cyclones over Southeast China

The Dynamical-Statistical-Analog Ensemble Forecast model for landfalling tropical cyclones(TCs)precipitation(DSAEF_LTP)utilises an operational numerical weather prediction(NWP)model for the forecast track,while the precipitation forecast is obtained by finding analog cyclones,and making a precipitation forecast from an ensemble of the analogs.This study addresses TCs that occurred from 2004 to 2019 in Southeast China with 47 TCs as training samples and 18 TCs for independent forecast experiments.Experiments use four model versions.The control experiment DSAEF_LTP_1 includes three factors including TC track,landfall season,and TC intensity to determine analogs.Versions DSAEF_LTP_2,DSAEF_LTP_3,and DSAEF_LTP_4 respectively integrate improved similarity region,improved ensemble method,and improvements in both parameters.Results show that the DSAEF_LTP model with new values of similarity region and ensemble method(DSAEF_LTP_4)performs best in the simulation experiment,while the DSAEF_LTP model with new values only of ensemble method(DSAEF_LTP_3)performs best in the forecast experiment.The reason for the difference between simulation(training sample)and forecast(independent sample)may be that the proportion of TC with typical tracks(southeast to northwest movement or landfall over Southeast China)has changed significantly between samples.Forecast performance is compared with that of three global dynamical models(ECMWF,GRAPES,and GFS)and a regional dynamical model(SMS-WARMS).The DSAEF_LTP model performs better than the dynamical models and tends to produce more false alarms in accumulated forecast precipitation above 250 mm and 100 mm.Compared with TCs without heavy precipitation or typical tracks,TCs with these characteristics are better forecasted by the DSAEF_LTP model. 展开更多

[Objectives]To explore the correlation of processing technology,physical parameters and chemical components during plain stir-baking of Trichosanthis Radix.[Methods]Based on mixture uniform experiment design,the Trichosanthis Radix was prepared by plain stir-bake method.Delphi method was used to evaluate and select the highest-scoring processed product for measuring physical parameters.UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the contents of starch and polysaccharide.The correlation and linear regression model of processing technology,physical parameters and chemical components were established with the aid of SPSS 26.0[Results]After processing by plain stir-bake method,the relative density and chromaticity showed a decreasing trend in the processed products of Trichosanthis Radix,the oxidation value,hydroscopic rate and swelling decreased firstly and then increased,and pH increased firstly and then decreased.The content of total starch decreased,the content of polysaccharide increased,and there was a negative correlation between them.There was a significant positive correlation between temperature and oxidation value,swelling and hydroscopic rate,hydroscopic rate and polysaccharide,and there was a significant negative correlation between relative density and hydroscopic rate or polysaccharide,total starch and hydroscopic rate or swelling.The linear relation model between processing technology and physical parameters and chemical components was r2>0.9.[Conclusions]After processing by plain stir-bake method,the physical parameters of Trichosanthis Radix changed,and there may be mutual conversion between total starch and polysaccharides.To a certain extent,physical parameters can be used to evaluate the quality of processed products of Trichosanthis Radix.This study is expected to provide a reference for research on quality evaluation of processed products of traditional Chinese medicine. 展开更多

Objective:To analyze the effectiveness of modified non-traumatic filling technology in the treatment of pediatric dental caries.Methods:Ninety-seven children with dental caries who were treated in our hospital(Panyu Maternal and Child Care Service Center of Guangzhou)from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 48 cases in the experimental group and 49 in the control group.The experimental group was treated with modified non-traumatic filling techniques,while the control group was treated with conventional filling techniques.Observation indicators such as the total effectiveness of the treatment,incidence of adverse events,treatment compliance,and pain scores were analyzed after the intervention.Result:After intervention,the total effectiveness of the treatment in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The treatment compliance of patients in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The pain score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of modified non-traumatic filling technology in the treatment of pediatric dental caries showed good therapeutic outcomes.After the intervention,the child’s symptoms were significantly alleviated,the incidence of adverse events such as filling material falling off was reduced,their compliance was improved,and the pain was relieved.This procedure is worth to be promoted for clinical application. 展开更多

AIM: To analyze the correlations between ocular biomechanical and biometric data of the eye,measured by Scheimpflug-based devices on healthy subjects.METHODS: Three consecutive measurements were carried out using the corneal visualization Scheimpflug technology(Cor Vis ST) device on healthy eyes and the 10 device-specific parameters were recorded.Pentacam HR-derived parameters(corneal curvature radii on the anterior and posterior surfaces;apical pachymetry;corneal volume;corneal aberration data;depth,volume and angle of the anterior chamber) and axial length(AL) from IOLMaster were correlated with the 10 specific CorV is ST parameters.RESULTS: Measurements were conducted in 43 eyes of 43 volunteers(age 61.24±15.72y).The 10 specific Cor Vis ST data showed significant relationships with corneal curvature radii both on the anterior and posterior surface,pachymetric data,root mean square(RMS) data of lower-order aberrations,and posterior RMS of higher-order aberrations and spherical aberration of the posterior cornea.Anterior chamber depth showed a significant relationship,but there were no significant correlations between corneal volume,anterior chamber volume,mean chamber angle or AL and the 10 specific CorV is ST parameters.CONCLUSION: Cor Vis ST-generated parameters are influenced by corneal curvature radii,some corneal RMS data,but corneal volume,anterior chamber volume,chamber angle and AL have no correlation with the biomechan-ical parameters.The parameters measured by CorV is ST seem to refer mostly to corneal properties of the eye. 展开更多

Excitation parameter preferences are key factors a ecting the performance of magnetic frequency mixing detection.A uniform experimental design method was used to analyze this influence.Using fuzzy theory,a comprehensive model is established for evaluating the e ect of magnetic frequency mixing.A polynomial is selected as the regression function to express explicitly the correlation between the excitation parameters and the frequency-mixing e ect.The excitation parameters were then optimized using genetic algorithm.Magnetic frequency mixing experiments were conducted to measure the surface hardness of some ferromagnetic materials.Frequency mixing is further enhanced under the optimal settings,resulting in an improvement in the measurement sensitivity.The results of this study support the application of the magnetic frequency mixing technique in non-destructive testing. 展开更多

The warehouse environment parameter monitoring system is designed to avoid the networking and high cost of traditional monitoring system.A sensor error correction model which combines particle swarm optimization(PSO)with back propagation(BP)neural network algorithm is established to reduce nonlinear characteristics and improve test accuracy of the system.Simulation and experiments indicate that the PSO-BP neural network algorithm has advantages of fast convergence rate and high diagnostic accuracy.The monitoring system can provide higher measurement precision,lower power consume,stable network data communication and fault diagnoses function.The system has been applied to monitoring environment parameter of warehouse,special vehicles and ships,etc. 展开更多
