This paper focuses on the application of interactive media technology in the visual interpretation of traditional graphic urban public spaces in China.Case studies and practical exploration show that interactive media technologies such as projection mapping,interactive devices,virtual reality technology,etc.,have realized the diversity of traditional graphics display forms in urban public space.The rich interactive experience design enhances the sense of participation and experience of urban citizens and tourists and promotes the visual culture transmission of traditional Chinese graphics.The future urban public space exhibition is destined to continue to deepen the integration of technology and graphics,promote the visual communication of traditional Chinese graphics visual interpretation in urban public space,and promote sustainable innovation in cultural output in urban public space exhibitions around the world.

The Impact of Online Courses towards Students in Autonomous Learning Based on New Media Technologies

In the 21st century,the rapid development of online technology has dramatically transformed people’s way of lives.The emergence of high-tech products has also boosted modern education to embrace informationization and virtualization.With the promotion and development of online courses,autonomous learning is now emerging among students in colleges and universities.If they want to learn relevant professional knowledge,they could use networking and information technology with relevant devices.This learning method could not only impact traditional education but also facilitate students to explore new ways to learn autonomously.This paper is to discuss the impact of online courses towards students in autonomous learning by analyzing its current learning situation,the feature of this new form and its effects towards students.

Research on Creating Rich-Media-Based Teaching Resources of Chinese Language Education

This paper investigates the promotion of rich media techniques and creation of teaching resources in Chinese language education curriculums. Infusing rich media technology with teaching practice, teachers should not only introduce original thinking, new skills and authentic knowledge to students, but also should emphasize on creativity. In this sense, the resources created within the curriculums are possible to develop and in turn, accumulate more teaching resources and materials for Chinese language education.

Experimental Design for Computer System Platform Course

The computer system platform course is a comprehensive platform course formed by modifying and optimizing the content of the relevant basic courses of computer major to meet the requirement for basic computer knowledge in digital media technology major.The scope and extent of the course content make its experimental design more challenging.By considering the scope of contents,the difficulty of experiments,and the rationality of intrinsic logic,the experiments covering from operating system to computer network are designed.The relevance and continuity of the experiments are ensured,so as to achieve the goals of promoting students’understanding of key concepts,improving their hands-on ability,cultivating their interest,and guiding their self-learning within the limited class time.

Augmented Reality Book for Preserving Malay Traditional Dances:A Case Study

Malaysia is known throughout the world for its multiculturalism.As a multiple ethnic country,many countries are looking on Malaysia as a great example of peaceful co-existence races and belief where all the ethnic groups in Malaysia live together in harmony and enrich the country's cultural lifestyle.Within that,Malaysia also consists of a collective blend of food,traditions,clothing and customs.Towards that,traditional dance is the treasure of art and culture.Therefore,with modern era and technology nowadays,it has led the younger generation care less about traditional dance.Beside,a printed media such as bunting,banners and pamphlets are less effective in promoting the traditional dance.By concerning this,this research study aims to preserving the traditional dance among young generation towards new media technology.In explaining the issues,a case study through quantitative approaches of questionnaires survey and interviews was used in studied the uniqueness of traditional Malay dance and further proposes a new approach for preserving the traditional Malay dance awareness among the young generation.The research significantly impacts the publics particularly on the new generation towards uniqueness of traditional dance in Malaysia.It is also contributes to the National Heritage Department and the National Arts and Culture Department where the documentation could be used as a collection of cultural and heritage books in the form of new media technology for young generation.

The Effects of the Digital Media Technology in Zhejiang Nature Museum on Visitors'Experiences

With the technology developing,digital media technology comes into being.Because of its powerful capabilities,several exhibitions and museums gradually adapt it to show their exhibits in some vivid ways.This study was aimed to discuss the impacts of the digital media technology implementation on visitor’s experiences in Zhejiang Nature Museum.Based on previous measurement efforts,we did a questionnaire survey,gathered all the information and analyzed data.According to the analysis,visitors were satisfied with the digital media devices and hoped there would be more interesting interactive devices to make them know more about the nature.

Enterprise WeChat Groups： Their Effect on Work-Life Conflict and Life-Work Enhancement

Social media technologies have made it increasingly feasible for employees to be connected to work. WeChat, a newly emerging social media platform, is widely used in daily life, yet there is still little understanding of the consequences of the use of WeChat groups in enterprise. Based on boundary theory, we suggested that the use of WeChat groups in enterprise have both pros and cons for employees. We gathered data from an online survey of 202 employees. Results show that posting work-related content in enterprise WeChat groups had a beneficial impact on work for employees but also caused work-life conflict （WLC）. However, posting life-related content in enterprise WeChat groups contributes to employees＇ life-work enhancement （LWE）. Contributions and future study directions of these findings are discussed.

A Study on the Space Image of Chongqing Central City Based on Online Images

The development of media and information technology has exerted profound influences over the relationship between human cognition and physical environment.Using the online images of Chongqing Central City and its affiliated districts that are found via search engines,this paper analyzes the scope of their visual field and the typology and the frequency of their content variables and explores the features and the regional differences of the city’s space image,in order to expand and supplement the scope and the paradigm of city image study.The study finds that:(1)the visual field of the online images is significantly correlated with the economic status,spatial characteristics,and development level of the region;(2)the space image of certain districts of Chongqing Central City shown by the online images presents few local features;(3)the space image of mountains and rivers of Chongqing Central City and its affiliated districts is not sufficiently expressed by the online images;and(4)the Internet has become an important medium for city image study that can quickly identify the features and deficiencies of local image.It is proposed to highlight the role of publicity and communication of media technology in the field of planning,which can help to reach consensus among various parties in the dynamic process of urban development.
