Complex adaptive system theory,agent-based modeling,and simulation in dominant technology formation

Dominant technology formation is the key for the hightech industry to“cross the chasm”and gain an established foothold in the market(and hence disrupt the regime).Therefore,a stimulus-response model is proposed to investigate the dominant technology by exploring its formation process and mechanism.Specifically,based on complex adaptive system theory and the basic stimulus-response model,we use a combination of agent-based modeling and system dynamics modeling to capture the interactions between dominant technology and the socio-technical landscape.The results indicate the following:(i)The dynamic interaction is“stimulus-reaction-selection”,which promotes the dominant technology’s formation.(ii)The dominant technology’s formation can be described as a dynamic process in which the adaptation intensity of technology standards increases continuously until it becomes the leading technology under the dual action of internal and external mechanisms.(iii)The dominant technology’s formation in the high-tech industry is influenced by learning ability,the number of adopting users and adaptability.Therein,a“critical scale”of learning ability exists to promote the formation of leading technology:a large number of adopting users can promote the dominant technology’s formation by influencing the adaptive response of technology standards to the socio-technical landscape and the choice of technology standards by the socio-technical landscape.There is a minimum threshold and a maximum threshold for the role of adaptability in the dominant technology’s formation.(iv)The socio-technical landscape can promote the leading technology’s shaping in the high-tech industry,and different elements have different effects.This study promotes research on the formation mechanism of dominant technology in the high-tech industry,presents new perspectives and methods for researchers,and provides essential enlightenment for managers to formulate technology strategies. 展开更多

Since the global financial crisis,global value chain(GVC)have been contracting amid the trend toward economic de-globalization.With GVC participation rate in mind as the core indicator of economic de-globalization,in this paper we create a multi-country general equilibrium model to characterize the mechanism by which manufacturing localization affects GVC participation rate.Our theoretical derivation shows that changes in the local manufacturing status of final products in various countries directly influence the GVC participation rate of those countries.When the local proportion of a country’s final products reaches a certain level,rising local proportion of intermediate inputs,economic growth below the world average level,and technology progress all cause the country’s GVC participation rate to decline,giving rise to de-globalization at the manufacturing and trade levels.We further provide a comprehensive interpretation based on an empirical test of the deep-seated causes of economic de-globalization in relation to such economic phenomena as increasing trade concentration,the“technology backlash”effect of the new industrial revolution,and economic growth driven by the combined forces of trade protectionism and quantitative easing. 展开更多

块菌贮藏期间细菌菌相分析及精油抑菌研究

为揭示印度块菌(Tuber indicum)4℃贮藏期间的表面微生物变化规律,鉴定优势腐败细菌并选择出抑菌效果好的天然抑菌剂。本文利用高通量测序与传统培养技术,对印度块菌贮藏过程中表面菌群结构及优势腐败菌进行研究。通过测定抑菌率,计算... 为揭示印度块菌(Tuber indicum)4℃贮藏期间的表面微生物变化规律,鉴定优势腐败细菌并选择出抑菌效果好的天然抑菌剂。本文利用高通量测序与传统培养技术,对印度块菌贮藏过程中表面菌群结构及优势腐败菌进行研究。通过测定抑菌率,计算半数有效浓度(EC50)等,研究5种天然植物精油对优势腐败菌的抑制效果。结果表明,贮藏期间印度块菌表面菌落总数呈增加趋势,第15 d时达到2.28×10^(6) lg CFU/g并出现异味、发粘或发霉等现象,至30 d时到达货架期终点。贮藏期间的优势菌门为Proteobacteria、Bacteroidetes、Actinobacteria、Firmicutes和Verrucomicrobia。优势菌属为Pseudomonas、Rhizobium、Pedobacter、Sphingobacterium、Flavobacterium、Serratia、Janthinobacterium、Sphingopyxis和Variovorax。此次共分离得到2株可导致块菌腐烂率达90%以上的细菌,经鉴定分别为枯草芽孢杆菌(Bacillus subtilis)和粪小短杆菌(Brachybacterium faecium)。所用5种精油中,柠檬草精油对B.subtilis的抑菌效果最好,EC50值为5.471μL/L;百里香精油对B.faecium的抑菌效果最好,EC50值为6.350μL/L。本研究为后续开展柠檬草和百里香精油复配在块菌采后贮藏保鲜上的应用,延长其货架期提供了一定理论依据。 展开更多

新兴技术创新生态中领军企业与追随者合作,对推动产业创新、加快发展新质生产力具有重要价值。基于520份制造企业调查问卷,实证探究领军企业向追随企业进行技术和资源赋能所产生的反馈效应对领军企业生态主导力的提升效果,以及关系感知... 新兴技术创新生态中领军企业与追随者合作,对推动产业创新、加快发展新质生产力具有重要价值。基于520份制造企业调查问卷,实证探究领军企业向追随企业进行技术和资源赋能所产生的反馈效应对领军企业生态主导力的提升效果,以及关系感知、生态开放性的权变影响。结果表明:无论是领军企业以技术赋能还是资源赋能追随者,均存在反馈性传导效应,能够显著提升领军企业生态主导力;关系感知和生态开放性则进一步正向调节了这一过程。研究结果深化了新兴技术创新生态系统中的企业间关系结构和赋能理论,也为新发展阶段培育和壮大科技领军企业、激活和完善产业创新生态、加快发展新质生产力提供重要的理论和实践参考。 展开更多

Museums around the world have been constant changed and improved its presentation, which provides a valuable experience for us. The new Shanghai Natural History Museum has also applied information technology on exhibition, education, research and collection. But the change does not mean a complete subversion. The advancement of the fourth industrial revolution has shaped the integration and interaction of different information, communication and technologies (ICTs) in the merging cyber, physical, and social infrastructures. The impact of ICT has accelerated the progress of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and influenced the evolution of smart, sustainable, stable society development. Making the trustworthy information and communication technologies infrastructure widely available will promote the community innovation needed to stimulate domestic economics, provide decent work, and reduce inequalities. This article attempts to outline a big picture about the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s trust provisioning framework, including its motivation, current status, and application for achieving the UN SDGs by 2030. This article first describes the purpose of the UN SDGs and the evolution of the industrial revolution, then demonstrates the challenges of global risks affecting the fourth industrial revolution and the need for trustworthy ICT infrastructures. Subsequently, the article evaluates the ITU trust provisioning framework and assesses its applications in the future knowledge society, trust provisioning ecosystem, and cyber, physical, and social infrastructure toward achieving UN SDGs. Use cases are also presented in this article to show the effectiveness of the ITU trust provisioning framework on achieving UN SDGs. 展开更多
