Previous literature showed mixed results about the impact of CEOs’financial literacy(CFL)on small and medium-sized enterprises’(SMEs)innovation.This relationship can be motivated by relevant variables,which are miss...Previous literature showed mixed results about the impact of CEOs’financial literacy(CFL)on small and medium-sized enterprises’(SMEs)innovation.This relationship can be motivated by relevant variables,which are missing in the previous literature and make a difference as mediators.In this sense,based on the theoretical framework related to upper echelon theory and resource-based view,this study focuses on the mediating effect of risk-taking attitude and management control systems(MCS)varia-bles.Empirical data from 310 SMEs gathered using a qualitative research questionnaire are analyzed using structural equation modeling methodology.Specifically,estimations are carried out considering the partial least square method.Findings show that MCS and managers’risk attitudes fully mediate the relationship between financial literacy(FL)and innovation.Between these two mediating variables,the implementation of MCS stands out because it also enables the mediating effect of CEOs’risk-taking in the CFL–technological innovation relationship.As the results do not support the significant direct relationship between FL and risk attitude,they confirm an indirect effect through MCS.Furthermore,based on the study findings,SMEs’directors and owners,business associations,and public authorities can improve SMEs’technological innovation by implementing training programs and policies to foster CFL.They can also acknowledge the interdependency between organizational factors and individual characteristics to enhance SMEs’technological innovation.展开更多

This particularly pertained to issues related to the demand of resources, the excessive consumption of raw materials, and the associated generated waste. Presently, the construction industry is ranked among the industries that are accountable for the global generation of solid waste and energy consumption, leading to detrimental environmental effects. Nonetheless, over the years, construction methods, technological innovations, and building practices have made considerable progress, influenced by a growing emphasis on sustainability, especially in energy conservation and in adopting the Industrialized Production layer of Construction 4.0 (i.e., modular prefabrication, 3D concrete printing, and BIM). The concept of Circular Economy (CE) has been identified as a potential solution to achieve sustainability in building construction through the design, construction, and end-of-life deconstruction processes that enhance the management of waste based on the framework that is related to reducing, reusing, and recycling. Moreover, information and data related to geolocation complement advanced digital technologies by providing a collaborative platform that supports the application of CE as a practical approach to sustainability. Thus, this study will provide a straightforward methodology for developing a model that integrates BIM and sustainable design with Circular Economy’s concept to enhance the sustainability of construction projects to minimize their waste based on various construction methods (i.e., conventional, modular, and 3D concrete printing). The proposed model interrelates tools and data for the evaluation and planning strategies for the construction and deconstruction waste (CDW) management at the design stage, including estimating the quantities of the wasted materials, quantifying the production rates of selected equipment for the waste handling (loading and hauling) at the various stages of a project as well their associated cost. This paper incorporates individual digital literacy into corporate management practice to explore the relationship between managers'digital literacy and the performance of corporate green technology innovation.The...This paper incorporates individual digital literacy into corporate management practice to explore the relationship between managers'digital literacy and the performance of corporate green technology innovation.The results show that managers'digital literacy can contribute to corporate green technology innovation.Specifically,a greater degree of digital literacy among the top management team is associated with better performance in corporate green technology innovation.Even if the management does not have an educational background in core digital technologies,their work experience related to core digital technologies such as computers and information technology can help promote corporate green technology innovation in the later stage.There is the heterogeneity in the managers'digital literacy role in promoting corporate green technology innovation,which is more significant in the sample of regions with low levels of the digital economy development,sufficient media attention,and non-heavily polluting enterprises.Digital transformation plays a mediating role between managers'digital literacy and corporate green technology innovation.Through further research,we find that the improvement of managers'digital literacy can contribute to the enhancement of corporate value in the future.The conclusions enrich the research horizon of upper echelons theory,explore the value and differentiated effect of digital human capital in the new era,and provide empirical evidence at the micro level that digital technologies promote the green and sustainable development of the economy.展开更多
The technology innovation management(TIM)field attracts an increasing amount of attention.This paper takes a retrospective look at high-quality publication output in the TIM field over the 55 years from 1968 to 2022,r...The technology innovation management(TIM)field attracts an increasing amount of attention.This paper takes a retrospective look at high-quality publication output in the TIM field over the 55 years from 1968 to 2022,revealing topics,their evolutions,and research trends.A total of 31,498 articles and proceeding papers published during this period are analyzed.The paper first extracts the fine-grained topic words using the tool ITGInsight.Then Linlog algorithm is used to cluster topics based on the cooccurrence of the topic words.Time is integrated within the topic cluster results so that topic evolutions and research trends are analyzed.The TIM field has four main topic clusters:technology research,product research,firm research,and future research.In every topic cluster,there are many fine-sorted macro-topics and micro-topics.There is an obvious increase in diversity in the topic clusters of technology research and firm research.Especially,the evolution of technology research has been closely connected with society.In contrast,product research has declined in its topic size.At the same time,future research maintains a certain stability of its scientific publications.The research predicts that all the four topics will retain their popularity,and play an important role in the TIM field.Among them,technology research will continue to expand and enrich the TIM field.The other three topics will deepen their research for a better development of the TIM field.The paper also proposes some advice for industry professionals,policymakers,and researchers.展开更多

Moreover, China's ambition to become an innovation-oriented nation has attracted widespread in...The two latest Five-Year Plans of China call for an increasing focus of the whole country on technology-based innovation. Moreover, China's ambition to become an innovation-oriented nation has attracted widespread international interest and academic studies in technology and innovation management. However by now, there is still not a rigorous amount of the research in this field as regards to China. This paper reports a comprehensive review of the research published between 2002 and 2011 in twelve top technology and innovation management international journals. Overall, a sample of 241 relevant articles in 780 issues is used as the basis for the study. The result is a map of the main research topics, their influence, and the availability of tested empirical data, which traces a state-of-the-art research on technology innovation management in China. Discussion on the map draws avenues for further research and insights for both researchers and policy makers on why, where and how to advance knowledge in the field, with a particular focus on implications for developing cooperation at the enterprise level.展开更多

文摘This paper incorporates individual digital literacy into corporate management practice to explore the relationship between managers'digital literacy and the performance of corporate green technology innovation.The results show that managers'digital literacy can contribute to corporate green technology innovation.Specifically,a greater degree of digital literacy among the top management team is associated with better performance in corporate green technology innovation.Even if the management does not have an educational background in core digital technologies,their work experience related to core digital technologies such as computers and information technology can help promote corporate green technology innovation in the later stage.There is the heterogeneity in the managers'digital literacy role in promoting corporate green technology innovation,which is more significant in the sample of regions with low levels of the digital economy development,sufficient media attention,and non-heavily polluting enterprises.Digital transformation plays a mediating role between managers'digital literacy and corporate green technology innovation.Through further research,we find that the improvement of managers'digital literacy can contribute to the enhancement of corporate value in the future.The conclusions enrich the research horizon of upper echelons theory,explore the value and differentiated effect of digital human capital in the new era,and provide empirical evidence at the micro level that digital technologies promote the green and sustainable development of the economy.

文摘The technology innovation management(TIM)field attracts an increasing amount of attention.This paper takes a retrospective look at high-quality publication output in the TIM field over the 55 years from 1968 to 2022,revealing topics,their evolutions,and research trends.A total of 31,498 articles and proceeding papers published during this period are analyzed.The paper first extracts the fine-grained topic words using the tool ITGInsight.Then Linlog algorithm is used to cluster topics based on the cooccurrence of the topic words.Time is integrated within the topic cluster results so that topic evolutions and research trends are analyzed.The TIM field has four main topic clusters:technology research,product research,firm research,and future research.In every topic cluster,there are many fine-sorted macro-topics and micro-topics.There is an obvious increase in diversity in the topic clusters of technology research and firm research.Especially,the evolution of technology research has been closely connected with society.In contrast,product research has declined in its topic size.At the same time,future research maintains a certain stability of its scientific publications.The research predicts that all the four topics will retain their popularity,and play an important role in the TIM field.Among them,technology research will continue to expand and enrich the TIM field.The other three topics will deepen their research for a better development of the TIM field.The paper also proposes some advice for industry professionals,policymakers,and researchers.

And used Shanghai Caohejing hi tech park to do the empirical research, comfirmed risk factors which have the larger influence on technological innovation network.Enterprises can face them as the main objects of enterprise risk managemenL in order to improve the success rate of the innovation of the enterprise technological innovation network.

文摘The two latest Five-Year Plans of China call for an increasing focus of the whole country on technology-based innovation. Moreover, China's ambition to become an innovation-oriented nation has attracted widespread international interest and academic studies in technology and innovation management. However by now, there is still not a rigorous amount of the research in this field as regards to China. This paper reports a comprehensive review of the research published between 2002 and 2011 in twelve top technology and innovation management international journals. Overall, a sample of 241 relevant articles in 780 issues is used as the basis for the study. The result is a map of the main research topics, their influence, and the availability of tested empirical data, which traces a state-of-the-art research on technology innovation management in China. Discussion on the map draws avenues for further research and insights for both researchers and policy makers on why, where and how to advance knowledge in the field, with a particular focus on implications for developing cooperation at the enterprise level.
