Influence of Online Learning Attitude in the Blended Teaching Model on the Final Grades

The combination of online teaching and traditional offline teaching can maximize the advantages of both.Based on the blended teaching of English Reading course,39 students were selected as the research subjects to study the relationship between their online learning attitudes and their grades in the final examination.Judged from the number of times for each student to download teaching resources,the number of assignments submitted online,and the quality of the submitted assignments,each student’s attitude toward online learning was examined comprehensively,and a correlation analysis was conducted through SPSS Statistics 21.0 to explore the influence of online learning attitude on English reading performance.Through data collection and analysis of the online learning attitudes over a 16-week period,a significant positive correlation was found between the online learning attitudes and the English reading grades,indicating that the online learning attitude in the blended learning model plays a crucial role in improving the English reading skill,and students should maintain a positive attitude toward online teaching in blended learning.

A Study on the Ecological Teaching Model of College English from the Perspective of Ecological Linguistics

Eco-linguistics is mainly an interdisciplinary subject of language development and change from the perspective of ecology. A Study on the Effectiveness of Autonomous-Cooperative Teaching and Learning Model Based on large -class English Teaching in Higher Vocational College

This paper just focuses on introducing the new model and testing its effectiveness in teaching English. Within this new model, both in-class learning and out-of-class learning are emphasized. In this paper, an experimental study is conducted upon non-English majors to test the effectiveness of autonomous-cooperative teaching and learning model for college English teaching (CET). The experimental study has lasted for half a year. Finally, from the experiment it can prove that the autonomous-cooperative teaching and learning model is feasible for English teaching and learning in large English classes in Higher Vocational College. It can improve English Teaching of Higher Vocational College and the students in the EG would surpass those in the CG in the performance of English learning.

A Brief Study on the Design of Higher Vocational English Classroom Based on Blended Teaching Model

Three Models of English Education in China＇s Universities ——-A Historical Perspective

In the present paper, a comparison is made of the three formats in the history of EECU （English education in China＇s universities）. In the first period （1904-1949）, English education was conducted separately in government-managed educational institutions and in institutions sponsored by church-related organizations; English education was well-knit with both general education and specialty education; and self-motivating learning was encouraged. In the second period （1950-1966）, almost everything was tinted with a shady color of politics： A halt was addressed drastically to EEC （English education in China） in 1952. In the gradual recovery that started four years later, the second format was sawed and hammered, showing the following features： All non-government-mamaged institutions vanished from the stage; English was taught solely as a language or a system of verbal parts, almost deprived of all cultural loading. The third period （1978 onwards） has witnessed a barrier-free and rapid development of over three decades, resulting in the unprecedented pervasion of EECU. Yet in the third tbrmat, learners＇ efforts have turned wholly test-oriented, degenerating into the saddening disintegrity of learning as a process into isolated charges to the target of a test at a time; the ignorant reduction of the learning methods to ＂Vocabulary Booklets Plus Collections of Test Papers＂. Such a comparison not only provides a multi-dimensional perspective of EECU and a better understanding of it, but also offers some important experiences and lessons for the search of an effective solution to the pervasive problem of＂Time-Consumingness and Low-Efficiency＂.

Research on Blended Teaching Model in College English Based on Mobile Learning App

Mobile learning is the general trend of the times and the inevitable choice for the reform and development of college English teaching.This article attempts to use blended learning theory,mobile learning theory,and instructional design theory as a guide.In many English mobile learning apps,Superstar Learning Link is used as an example to design an online and offline blended teaching mode.It proposes thinking expansion and interaction in pre-class stage.Consolidation of input and outputoriented process are during class and evaluation and sublimation are made after class.The essay is aimed to break the boundaries between traditional teaching and mobile learning,combining synchronous learning with personalized learning in order to improve comprehensive levels of English.

Application of Smart-Phone Apps by Chinese College Students in Learning English

Currently,there is an increasing trend in the shift from the use of traditional technologies,such as a desktop computer towards the use of mobile technologies,such as a mobile phone.Therefore,students are nowadays well equipped for mobile learning.The aim of this review is to explore the use of mobile phones and/or smart phones and their apps for learning English as a foreign language,and highlight their benefits and limitations for their use in the learning of English as a foreign language.

Multi-Level, Multi-Scale Modeling and Predictive Mapping for Jaguars in the Brazilian Pantanal

Multi-level multi-scale resource selection models using machine learning were compared and contrasted for generating predictive maps of jaguar habitat (Panthera onca) in the Brazilian Pantanal. Multiple spatial scales and temporal movement levels were run within several analytical modeling frameworks for comparison. Included in the analysis were multi-scale raster grains (30 m, 90 m, 180 m, 360 m, 720 m, 1440 m) and GPS collaring temporal movement levels (point, path, and step). Various analytical methods were used for comparison of models that could accommodate data structural levels (group, individual, case-control). Models compared included conditional logistic regression, generalized additive modeling (GAM), and classification regression trees, such as random forests (RF) and gradient boosted regression tree (GBM). The goals of the study were to discuss the potential and limitations for machine learning methods using GPS collaring data to produce predictive habitat suitability mapping using the various scales and levels available. Results indicated that choosing the appropriate temporal level and raster scale improved model outputs. Overall, larger level analytical modeling frameworks and those that used multi-scale raster grains showed the best model evaluation with the inherent condition that they predict a broader scale and subset of data. The identification of the appropriate spatial scale, temporal scale and statistical model need careful consideration in predictive mapping efforts.

累积生态风险对农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感的影响:积极心理资本的中介作用

对H省农村中学的805名学生进行问卷调查,考察累积生态风险对农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感的影响,以及积极心理资本在其中所起的作用。研究发现:(1)农村初中生积极心理资本和英语学习习得性无助感存在性别差异,累积生态风险和英语学习习得性无助感存在年级差异;(2)累积生态风险显著正向预测农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感,积极心理资本显著负向预测农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感;(3)积极心理资本在累积生态风险和农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感之间起中介作用。为降低农村初中生英语学习习得性无助感,要从家庭、学校、同伴、社区等不同方面着力,减少高风险因素,为初中生创设良好的成长环境;重视学生积极心理资本培养,增强农村初中生的心理韧性、希望感,提高其学习动力、自信心和适应能力;强化家校社协同,家长履行“第一责任”,注重亲子间的感情纽带维系,主动配合学校教育。

基于知识图谱和大语言模型的终身学习资源库供给生态构建研究

终身学习资源库是建设终身学习体系的重要基础,目前虽已初具规模,但一方面还未形成完整的资源供给生态,另一方面也缺乏先进的人工智能技术支持,难以满足终身学习者日益增长的个性化、多元化、生成性的学习需求。鉴于知识图谱和大语言模型技术在资源库建设中具有极大价值,且二者互补能够显著提高资源供给服务的质量,结合知识图谱与大语言模型技术,从资源生产、传播、消费和优化四个环节构建开放性、联结性、智能化、多元化、个性化、生成性的终身学习资源库供给生态,以期创新资源供给模式,提高终身学习质量。未来,将在实践中落实并持续改进资源供给生态,以促进理论与实践的迭代推进,为相关机构在该领域的探索提供借鉴。

教育数字化战略背景下教学模式变革的核心是学习设计创新。如何助力和支持智能时代学习设计创新是当前研究热点。本研究采用系统性文献综述法分析国内外学习设计领域的314篇高质量文献,发现学习设计领域的发展正进入智能时代学习设计阶段。智能时代学习设计创新以数据驱动的学习设计生态为核心理念和目标导向,包括三大理念、五个着力点和三类关键技术。本研究能够为我国数字化转型背景下学习设计创新研究与实践提供参考。

网络环境下的大学英语“Blending Learning”教学模式探讨

Blending Learning即一种把传统课堂教学和网络教学相结合的混合式教学模式。但混合式教学不是仅把信息技术作为辅助教或辅助学的工具,而是强调利用信息技术营造一种全新的教学环境。结合本校的教学改革,讨论了如何在大学英语教学中实现传统教学和网络学习的Blending,以及采用Blending Learning所取得的教学效果和这种教学模式的优势。
