With the improvement of the degree of aging,the traditional pension model can no longer meet the growing needs of the elderly.Therefore,it is necessary to use the intelligent means of information technology to improve...With the improvement of the degree of aging,the traditional pension model can no longer meet the growing needs of the elderly.Therefore,it is necessary to use the intelligent means of information technology to improve the level of pension services.This paper will integrate multi-sensor fusion technology,NB-IoT communication technology and cloud platform technology to develop and design a smart pension online monitoring system to realize real-time collection of human health and motion status information and realize monitoring platform management.In this system,STM32 microcontroller will be used as the main control module,and MAX30102,ADXL345 and DS18B20 sensors will be used to collect the heart rate,blood oxygen,displacement and body temperature of the human body in real time.On the one hand,the communication part is completed by the BC20 Internet of Things module.The data transmission between the terminal detection device and the cloud platform,on the other hand,the HC-42 Bluetooth module is used to complete the data communication with the mobile phone.The test results show that the system can collect and process data accurately in real time and maintain good communication with the cloud platform and mobile phone.The designed system has strong pertinence,easy operation,high reliability and broad development prospects.展开更多

Traffic intersections are incredibly dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. Statistics from both Canada and the U.S. show a high number of fatalities and serious injuries related to crashes at intersections. In Canada...Traffic intersections are incredibly dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. Statistics from both Canada and the U.S. show a high number of fatalities and serious injuries related to crashes at intersections. In Canada, during 2019, the National Collision Database shows that 28% of traffic fatalities and 42% of serious injuries occurred at intersections. Likewise, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) found that about 40% of the estimated 5,811,000 accidents in the U.S. during the year studied were intersection-related crashes. In fact, a major survey by the car insurance industry found that nearly 85% of drivers could not identify the correct action to take when approaching a yellow traffic light at an intersection. One major reason for these accidents is the “yellow light dilemma,” the ambiguous situation where a driver should stop or proceed forward when unexpectedly faced with a yellow light. This situation is even further exacerbated by the tendency of aggressive drivers to inappropriately speed up on the yellow just to get through the traffic light. A survey of Canadian drivers conducted by the Traffic Injury Research Foundation found that 9% of drivers admitted to speeding up to get through a traffic light. Another reason for these accidents is the increased danger of making a left-hand turn on yellow. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA), left turns occur in approximately 22.2% of collisions—as opposed to just 1.2% for right turns. Moreover, a study by CNN found left turns are three times as likely to kill pedestrians than right turns. The reason left turns are so much more likely to cause an accident is because they take a driver against traffic and in the path of oncoming cars. Additionally, most of these left turns occur at the driver’s discretion—as opposed to the distressingly brief left-hand arrow at busy intersections. The best course of action to handle these issues is to set up an autonomous incident detection system using wireless communication, 5G technologies and the Internet of Things. IoT is a seamless technology that increases the connectivity between humans and machines. It is web-based, and improves communication between vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to infrastructures, transfer of data and information to predict incident occurrences through various networks and frameworks such as eCall, OneM2M and integration of mobile broadband. Additionally, internet of things is being adopted for public safety;for instance, it can speed up first responders’ response times to situations by displaying the best routes to a scene of an accident. The rapid development of 5G is happening in parallel with developments of internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and smart platforms for novel applications such as mission-critical communications. 5G is a new generation technology that operates on the Ultra High Spectrum Band UHSB. It is an innovation that uses the pedestrians-vehicle-road-cloud, and the communication between vehicle locations and temperature of high-quality connection. It is essential for intelligent transport systems because it allows for information sharing, prediction of incidences as safety is the primary concern of road transport. This review examines accident detection through 5G technology, integrated mobile broadband, and multiple inputs multiple outputs (MIMO) wireless system. Digitalisation in mining refers to the use of computerised or digital devices or systems and digitised data that are to reduce costs,improve business productivity,and transform mining practices.However,it remains incr...Digitalisation in mining refers to the use of computerised or digital devices or systems and digitised data that are to reduce costs,improve business productivity,and transform mining practices.However,it remains increasingly difficult for mining companies to decide which digital technologies are most relevant to their needs and individual mines.This paper provides an overview of digital technologies currently relevant to mining companies as presented and discussed by mining journals,the media and insight reports of leading consultancy agencies.Relevant technologies were systematically identified using text-mining techniques,and network analyses established the relations between significant technologies.Results demonstrated that currently 107 different digital technologies are pursued in the mining sector.Also,an analysis of the actual implementation of digital technologies in 158 active surface and underground mines reveals a limited uptake of digital technologies in general and that the uptake increases with the run-of-mine production.Large-scale mining operations appear to select and apply digital technologies suitable to their needs,whereas operations with lower production rates do not implement the currently available digital technologies to the same extent.These minor producers may require other digital transformation solutions tailored to their capabilities and needs and applicable to their scale of operations.展开更多
To professionally plan and manage the development and evolution of the Internet of Things(IoT),researchers have proposed several IoT performance measurement solutions.IoT performance measurement solutions can be very ...To professionally plan and manage the development and evolution of the Internet of Things(IoT),researchers have proposed several IoT performance measurement solutions.IoT performance measurement solutions can be very valuable for managing the development and evolution of IoT systems,as they provide insights into performance issues,resource optimization,predictive maintenance,security,reliability,and user experience.However,there are several issues that can impact the accuracy and reliability of IoT performance measurements,including lack of standardization,complexity of IoT systems,scalability,data privacy,and security.While previous studies proposed several IoT measurement solutions in the literature,they did not evaluate any individual one to figure out their respective measurement strengths and weaknesses.This study provides a novel scheme for the evaluation of proposed IoT measurement solutions using a metrology-coverage evaluation based on evaluation theory,metrology principles,and software measurement best practices.This evaluation approach was employed for 12 IoT measure categories and 158 IoT measurement solutions identified in a Systematic Literature Review(SLR)from 2010 to 2021.The metrology coverage of these IoT measurement solutions was analyzed from four perspectives:across IoT categories,within each study,improvement over time,and implications for IoT practitioners and researchers.The criteria in this metrology-coverage evaluation allowed for the identification of strengths and weaknesses in the theoretical and empirical definitions of the proposed IoT measurement solutions.We found that the metrological coverage varies significantly across IoT measurement solution categories and did not show improvement over the 2010–2021 timeframe.Detailed findings can help practitioners understand the limitations of the proposed measurement solutions and choose those with stronger designs.These evaluation results can also be used by researchers to improve current IoT measurement solution designs and suggest new solutions with a stronger metrology base.展开更多

文摘Inventory pledge financing not only solves the financing difficulties of small and medium-sized enterprises,but also opens up business channels for banks.Under the random market demand,this article studies the pledge decision-making of perishable pledges in the inventory pledge business,On the basis of considering the supervision of the Internet of Things technology to reduce the loss rate of quality goods,a decision model of the pledge rate of the bank is constructed in the case of not adopting the Internet of things technology and adopting the Internet of things technology.The pledge rate decision-making model in the two technical situations aims at maximizing the profit at the end of the pledge period.The factors in the model such as the pledge rate,end-of-period income,and IoT technology coverage rate are analyzed respectively,and finally the decision-making process is verified through calculation examples.Studies have shown that,when Internet of Things technology is not adopted,the income of bank pledge business first increases and then decreases with the growth of pledge rate.After the adoption of Internet of Things technology,the income of Banks is inversely proportional to the coverage rate of Internet of Things technology.However,within a certain coverage range,Banks can obtain greater income by using Internet of Things technology to supervise pledges.
文摘Human beings and their activities are now connected through Internet of Things(IoT)with the evolution of wireless communication technologies.IoT is becoming popular and its usage is immensely increasing among various sectors.In this research paper,a comprehensive review has been conducted by considering recent and important literature review on IoT applications being operated in three major sectors.The three sectors studied are health,sports and transportation and logistics.Paper explored that with the help of IoT techniques,different miniature sized devices are invented which can record various parameters of human body,wearables devices have been invented which are playing important role in monitoring and recording daily fitness are working on CIoT technology and IoT emergence in the field of transportation and logistics helps in resolving several issues including conveniences,navigation issues,service cost and security issues.All the papers reviewed are journal published from 2010 to 2020.In latter part,this paper also highlighted security,privacy,reliability,consumption of various resources and policies as significant challenges for IoT.

文摘Given the recent developments of Internet of Things (IoT) researchers and academics are trying to utilize this concept for different innovative applications. One of those applications of IoT is the remote laboratories, where real hardware/software experimentation systems can be controlled and manipulated over the web. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this has become almost essential for academic and research activities. The paper starts with highlighting the necessity and current status of remote laboratories in terms of shortcomings and possible recourse. With these in mind, the second part illustrates an infrastructure of a remote laboratory facility as well as describes the development of a number of prototype remote laboratories that are utilized for academic activities.

文摘The combat tasks faced by UAVs are becoming more and more complex.Traditional single UAVs are limited by the constraints of platform load capacity,lightweight load,and insufficient lowpower equipment,so it is difficult to complete complex tasks independently.Aiming at typical UAV collaborative confrontation application scenarios,this paper constructs a multi-agentoriented cluster collaborative intelligent system architecture and establishes a swarm-oriented intelligent UAV cluster collaborative control algorithm.Moreover,this paper forms a simulation environment for UAV cluster collaborative confrontation and completes the design and implementation of the UAV cluster collaborative confrontation system based on swarm intelligence.In addition,this paper analyses the key technologies of the UAV cluster collaborative system with the support of the Internet of Things technology and verifies the performance of the system after constructing the corresponding system.The experimental results show that the system constructed in this paper is effective.
文摘Digitalisation in mining refers to the use of computerised or digital devices or systems and digitised data that are to reduce costs,improve business productivity,and transform mining practices.However,it remains increasingly difficult for mining companies to decide which digital technologies are most relevant to their needs and individual mines.This paper provides an overview of digital technologies currently relevant to mining companies as presented and discussed by mining journals,the media and insight reports of leading consultancy agencies.Relevant technologies were systematically identified using text-mining techniques,and network analyses established the relations between significant technologies.Results demonstrated that currently 107 different digital technologies are pursued in the mining sector.Also,an analysis of the actual implementation of digital technologies in 158 active surface and underground mines reveals a limited uptake of digital technologies in general and that the uptake increases with the run-of-mine production.Large-scale mining operations appear to select and apply digital technologies suitable to their needs,whereas operations with lower production rates do not implement the currently available digital technologies to the same extent.These minor producers may require other digital transformation solutions tailored to their capabilities and needs and applicable to their scale of operations.

文摘To professionally plan and manage the development and evolution of the Internet of Things(IoT),researchers have proposed several IoT performance measurement solutions.IoT performance measurement solutions can be very valuable for managing the development and evolution of IoT systems,as they provide insights into performance issues,resource optimization,predictive maintenance,security,reliability,and user experience.However,there are several issues that can impact the accuracy and reliability of IoT performance measurements,including lack of standardization,complexity of IoT systems,scalability,data privacy,and security.While previous studies proposed several IoT measurement solutions in the literature,they did not evaluate any individual one to figure out their respective measurement strengths and weaknesses.This study provides a novel scheme for the evaluation of proposed IoT measurement solutions using a metrology-coverage evaluation based on evaluation theory,metrology principles,and software measurement best practices.This evaluation approach was employed for 12 IoT measure categories and 158 IoT measurement solutions identified in a Systematic Literature Review(SLR)from 2010 to 2021.The metrology coverage of these IoT measurement solutions was analyzed from four perspectives:across IoT categories,within each study,improvement over time,and implications for IoT practitioners and researchers.The criteria in this metrology-coverage evaluation allowed for the identification of strengths and weaknesses in the theoretical and empirical definitions of the proposed IoT measurement solutions.We found that the metrological coverage varies significantly across IoT measurement solution categories and did not show improvement over the 2010–2021 timeframe.Detailed findings can help practitioners understand the limitations of the proposed measurement solutions and choose those with stronger designs.These evaluation results can also be used by researchers to improve current IoT measurement solution designs and suggest new solutions with a stronger metrology base.
