An Empirical Study of the Socratic Method in Nongraded English Teaching in Senior High School Under the Background of the New National College Entrance Examination

With the reform of the New National College Entrance Examination(Gaokao),the nongraded education will become an inevitable trend.In senior high school,the traditional test-oriented education is popular.The knowledge is mainly taught by the teachers,and the students passively absorb it.This study examines a problem-oriented Socratic experiment in nongraded English teaching in senior high school.The teachers seek output from students,who respond by interpreting questions,fostering critical thinking,and enhancing problem-solving skills.This teaching experiment indicates that the Socratic method has a significant positive effect on cultivating nongraded senior high English students’critical thinking under the New National College Entrance Examination.

Teaching ,Learning &Testing-Reconsideratios on the Pathway for Improving College English Teaching and Learning

The persistent and indefatigable efforts of all the College English teachers have brought about great changes in colle ge English teaching and learning in t he past few years.These changes,however,may be summa rized within the framework of a shift from one form of test -oriented teaching and learnin g to another.In reality,much has yet to be done to improve the language abilities of the studen ts.Under such circumstances,nationwi de English examinations or unified e xaminations at var-ious levels,are bound to make things even worse by misleading college and university teachers in their teaching practice.In this p aper,the author claims that College English teachers and their students should be freed from t he confinement of the unified examin ations so that they will be able to build a real learner -centr ed curriculum as far as possible according to their own needs.Finally,some tentative ideas are presented on the pathway for imp roving the quality of the College English teaching and learning.

基于综合难度模型的新高考数学试题评析——以2021—2024年新高考Ⅰ卷、Ⅱ卷为例

根据高考数学试题的命题立意,对现有数学高考试题综合难度模型进行调整,从背景因素、是否含参、运算水平、推理能力、知识含量、思维方向、认知水平、新颖水平等8个因素,对2021—2024年新高考Ⅰ卷、Ⅱ卷数学试题的整体难度、知识主题难度、数学题型难度展开分析。结果表明:近4年新高考数学试题综合难度基本稳定,新高考Ⅰ卷难度略高于Ⅱ卷;在知识主题上,函数难度略高于几何与代数,大幅高于概率与统计,预备知识难度最低;解答题难于多选题,填空题次之,单选题最易。基于此,建议进一步强化试题情境创设,更好地贯彻落实基于情境活动的命题要求;聚焦新颖试题形式,着力发展学生的创新意识与综合素质;重视知识融合考查,整合学科知识主题,实现知识模块的交汇关联。

Language Ability or Personality Works?:The Return to Possessing a Global English Test Certificate for College Graduates in China

Purpose-English language skills have great influence on labors’earnings from the global perspective.To reveal the economic returns to English language ability in Chinese labor market,we investigate how the global English test certificate affects college graduates’wage.Design/Approach/Methods-We adopt the ordinary least squares(OLS)and propensity score matching(PSM)methods,using data from Chinese Education Panel Survey(CEPS).Findings-The results indicate that with English test scores controlled,possessing global English test certificates have an additional positive effect on wage premiums whereas domestic English test certificates do not.Therefore for college graduates in China,the act of chasing certificates represents proactivity and is rewarded at the initial employment stage.Originality/Value-Our findings imply that global English test has great comprehensive value in labor market:the certificate is not only the important signal to students’English language,but the crucial indicator to one’s productivity personality which is rewarded at the initial employment stage.

2014年启动的新高考改革是一场全国范围的立体式、系统性重大教育改革,对于基础教育和高等教育均产生了广泛而深刻的影响。在新高考改革十周年之际,系统把握其历史逻辑、理论逻辑和实践逻辑,对于新高考的后续发展与完善及深刻认识中国高考现代化命题具有重要意义。本轮新高考改革是此前系列高考改革探索的迭代升级与高中新课改的逻辑推进。高中学考科目被纳入高校招生评价,具有与高考科目类似的选拔属性,本质上等同于高考科目。十年新高考改革实践再度表明,高中毕业考试与高校招生选拔考试必须分开举行;不宜过度批判考试科目的统一性、过度强调考试科目的选择性。想要将综合素质纳入统一高考招生评价,需以赋予高校一定招生自主权为基本前提。

参加普通高考残疾考生享有合理便利现状研究——基于H省的实践

为了解参加普通高考残疾考生享有合理便利的状况,对H省2018年以来的相关文件和数据进行了分析。结果表明:申请合理便利的程序严格,但评估需进一步加强;申请合理便利残疾考生绝对数量逐年增加,但相对数量较少,类别有限;合理便利措施的内容有待丰富。建议:提高残疾学生基础教育质量;增加普通高考合理便利措施的内容;拓展教育领域合理便利的应用范围;进行实证研究,为特殊考生依法享有合理便利提供事实依据。

初中英语学业水平考试命题实践:进展、挑战与展望

依据物理试题难度模型,对2021-2022年高考河北卷进行试题难度综合分析比较.结果表明,2021-2022年河北卷平均试题难度相差无几,力学与电磁学部分总试题难度最高,近代物理部分难度较低,热学与光学部分试题难度几乎持平.并且从试题难度影响因素出发,多角度分析比较了各因素对试题难度的影响,希望能够帮助学生提高自身学习的时效性以及教师提高课堂教学的有效性.

聚焦中华优秀传统文化,实现语文教学价值引领——以2023年高考语文(天津卷)为例

通过对2023年高考语文(天津卷)的相关数据及部分试题进行抽样分析,发现考生在作答涉及“中华优秀传统文化”的试题时存在古代典籍阅读量不足、熟悉程度不高、核心思想理念理解不深、缺乏学习体悟、以机械记忆为主、忽略中华优秀传统文化在当代的发展等问题;提出加大古代典籍阅读量、建立文化教育教学目标、创设生活取向的实践活动情境、设计学习任务带动课堂探索等教学建议。

高中生自主学习新模式及其对现行高考制度改革的新诉求
