An Interview-Based Study of the Factors Influencing the Quality of Professional Training of Science Education Graduates

The proposal of the strategy of developing the country through science education has clarified China’s demand for the development of the science and education industry and the cultivation of science and education talents,and the birth of Science Education majors is an important link in the cultivation of scientific literacy.Based on the grounded theory,we interviewed three Science Education graduates from a university and coded the interview data by using NVivo 12.0 to find eight important factors affecting their professional training and employment choices.The factors are“social factors,”“individual career choice factors,”“campus resources,”“employment advantages,”“professional self-development,”“teacher factors,”“planning for further education and employment,”and“student motivation.”This study analyzes the interaction between the influencing factors,constructs a theoretical model of the influencing factors of the quality of Science Education professional training,explores the problems of the training process of Science Education majors and employment dilemmas,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.

An Exploration of Higher Vocational English Teachers’Professional Development on Students’Learning Ability in the Context of New Liberal Arts

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.

Professional Development of Rural Physical Education Teachers from the Perspective of Educational Ecology:A Case Study of Deqing County

Based on the theoretical perspective of educational ecology,the basic situation of professional development of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County and the restricting factors in the process of professional development were investigated and analyzed by using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistic analysis,aiming to find out the problems existing in the professional development of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County.The targeted optimization strategies were explored,so as to achieve the effects of enriching the research theory of professional development of rural physical education teachers,improving the quality of physical education in rural schools,inheriting excellent rural sports culture,driving the development of rural mass sports,promoting the construction of rural material and spiritual civilization,and improving the quality of rural human capital.According to the research,the gender structure of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County was unreasonable;the teachers were undertaken heavy teaching task;there was a shortage of highly educated people;some teachers lacked understanding and attention to the connotation of professional development;the teachers had insufficient knowledge of educational science;teachers’sense of responsibility needed to be strengthened;schools did not pay enough attention to teachers’continuing education and training,and teachers were less satisfied with training.

An Analysis of Teacher's Professional Development of Higher Vocational Education

Teachers are the backbones of any educational institutions. They not only play vital roles in students' development;they also directly affect the stature of their respective scholastic organizations. Highly qualified instructors produce competent and well-rounded students— learners who are more than ready to face the quirks and challenges of the labor force. This paper primarily discusses the following questions: What is teacher's professional development? What is higher vocational teacher's professional development? And how can scholastic institutions promote it? The conclusion states that the characteristics of higher vocational education directly influence the higher vocational teacher's professional development; therefore, it must be nurtured and promoted for the development of all the stakeholders of learning institutions – students, teachers, management staff,the learning institution itself, and the nation as a whole.

Innovating Pedagogical Practices through Professional Development in Computer Science Education

Recent advancements in technology have opened up new avenues for educators to facilitate teaching and leverage more learning access in the digital age.As the demand for computational skills continues to grow in preparation for future careers,both teachers and students face the challenge of developing problem-solving,critical thinking,communication,and collaboration skills within an emerging digital landscape.Technology adoption,big data,cloud computing and artificial intelligence pose ongoing challenges for both teachers and students in adapting to the changing workforce development landscape.To tackle these challenges,the paper highlights the importance of exploring the implications of learning sciences in classroom teaching,developing a holistic vision for professional development in education,and understanding the complexities of teacher change.To effectively implement these components,it is crucial to adopt design approaches that prioritize student ownership in education and embrace the principles of inclusive education to reconceptualize the teaching practices in education and technology.

A longitudinal study of the professional dispositions of teacher candidates

The purpose of this study was to examine the professional disposition scores of Physical Education teacher candidates over time. In ad-dition, differences between teacher and student ratings were investigated. Participants were 65 students who completed three methods courses (A, B, and C) across a two-year period. Both the teacher and the students completed a profes-sional dispositions instrument in each of the three classes. Results indicated a decrease in disposition self ratings and teacher ratings over time. A 2 (Rater) x 3 (Time) ANOVA revealed that the student and teacher ratings were different for classes A and B but not for class C. The findings are encouraging in light of the strong alignment between teacher and student ratings in the upper-level class. The dispositions in-strument appears to be a valid and reliable method to assess the professional behaviors of teacher candidates.

Research on the General and Professional Integrated Education at Universities under the Background of Engineering Education Accred­itation

Under the background of“Engineering Education Accreditation”,it is of great significance to carry out the general and professional integrated education at universities.This paper discusses the epoch connotation of general education at universities and the necessity of developing general education in the professional courses of the universities.The conceptual characteristics,practice modes and ways of carrying out the general and professional integrated education at universities under the background of Engineering Education Accreditation are discussed.Finally,an example is given to verify the feasibility and implementation effect of carrying out general education in professional courses of university,so as to provide references for the development of the general and professional integrated education at universities in the new era.

Thoughts on the Professional Growth of University Teachers in Digital Era

The development of information and technology has changed education namely teaching and learning.This paper analyzed the main characteristic of university teachers’professional growth in digital era by theoretically analyzing the impact on education of information and technology.In the new era,teachers should assume more abundant roles,such as lecturer in the classroom environment,model of students’life,mentor/instructor,teaching evaluator,resource developer,planner,leader and manager,etc.Teachers in the digital era should own the qualities of“foundation”,“growth”,and“expansion”.On this basis,several suggestions for promotion of teachers’professional growth have been given.It is necessary to explore the way of professional growth for university teachers in the IT age by constructing a UGIT collaborative“front and behind continued”teacher cultivation mechanism;exploring a practice-oriented,precise,scientific and demand-driven cultivation model;and strengthening the training of teachers’IT application ability.

Exploration of New Engineering Upgrading Path from Perspective of Professional Certification--A Case Study of Telecommunication Major of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences

From the perspective of professional accreditation,starting with the mode of education based on outcomes based education(OBE),this paper puts forward the idea of insisting on the principal role of university collaboration,and taking the road of building new specialties of electronic information science and technology through collaborative innovation such as school administration,school-enterprise,production and teaching.This paper combines"new subject construction-result orientation-professional certification"into a whole,and probes into the orientation of talent training objectives,the construction of curriculum system,the construction of teaching staff,and the cooperation of educational models.A basic path for upgrading of new electronic engineering majors is explored.

构建基于导向型教师专业标准的教师教育质量保障体系——关于修订与实施《教师专业标准》的思考与建议

20世纪80年代末以来,在提高教育质量的诉求推动下,各国纷纷制定教师专业标准或素养框架。国际经验显示:教师专业标准能否实现预期的目的,首先取决于我们研制什么样的标准以及如何实施这些标准,标准的目的与功能定位、形式与结构、研制主体与方式、实施方式与配套体系等,都是影响标准有效性的重要因素。我国现行的《教师专业标准》存在功能定位缺乏精准指向,结构缺乏真正有效的层次区分以及实施缺乏有机配套体系等问题。今后应该基于导向优先、兼顾评价的功能定位修订《教师专业标准》;重视标准的修订过程与方式,促进标准的有效传播和实施;以《教师专业标准》为基点,构建教师教育质量保障体系。

在新时代中国特色社会主义背景下,体育强国梦的实现对高质量体育教师专业发展提出前所未有的要求。研究深入探讨体育教师专业发展的现状、面临的挑战以及未来的发展方向,揭示了体育教育理念的深化、体育教师责任感与使命感的强化是适应新时代要求的关键。研究认为,教师培训体系的不完善、专业成长机会的有限性以及教育评价体系的单一性是当前体育教师专业发展面临的主要问题。针对这些问题,提出建设性的解决策略:构建多元化教师培训体系、提供丰富的专业成长机会以及推进教育评价机制的创新。这些策略旨在全面提升体育教师的专业素养和教学能力,为提高体育教育质量、推进体育强国建设贡献力量。

高校师范类专业认证行为偏差的现实表征、成因及治理

高校作为师范类专业认证的重要行动者,其认证行为的质量直接关涉认证目标的实现与认证价值的发挥。研究发现:高校在推进师范类专业认证工作的过程中存在诸多行为偏差,包括认证前的行为意向偏差、认证中的改革行为偏差以及认证后的持续改进行为偏差。究其原因在于,认证客体的认证素养储备不足、认证主客体组织架构固化、认证政策体系不完善及认证保障性措施欠缺。为矫正高校师范类专业认证行为偏差,需要从提升认证客体的认证素养,打破认证主客体固化的组织架构,完善认证政策体系及优化认证保障条件等方面作出努力。

赋能、负能与使能:生成式人工智能嵌入乡村教师专业发展的多维审思

生成式人工智能推动知识生产和传播模式的变革,为乡村教师专业发展带来新契机。基于“赋能—负能—使能”的逻辑理路进行审思发现,生成式人工智能给乡村教师专业发展带来专业理念重构、专业知识增长、专业能力进阶和专业情意滋养的机遇。机遇背后暗含“人机共存”颠覆“以人为师”育人理念、“知识生产异化偏移”挑战知识创生、“高阶应用”挑战“高阶能力”、“主体身份遮蔽、降格”挑战主体情意等挑战。为把握机遇,化解挑战,应用生成式人工智能促进乡村教师专业发展,需从理念认同、知识共创、能力提升、情意升华四个方面“使能”。

目前我国进入中国特色社会主义建设的新时代。新时代召唤优质教育,基础教育事业迫切需要卓越师资力量。高师院校是广大教师队伍的主要培养基地,建立和完善科学、合理的卓越教师培养机制至关重要。首先论述了新时代下卓越教师的内涵以及能力要求,进而按照师范专业认证的标准和要求就卓越数学教师的培养机制进行探索与研究,并结合忻州师范学院数学系“卓越教师实验班”的培养实践加以说明,对于开展卓越教师培养有一定的指导意义和参考价值。

师范类专业认证背景下体育教育专业人才培养方案优化策略研究

高等院校体育教育专业的学生是我国教师队伍的后备军,而人才培养方案在很大程度上决定了体育教师的培养质量。我国高等院校人才培养方案在师范类专业认证理念下需要同时满足《普通高等学校本科专业类教学质量国家标准》和《普通高等学校师范类专业认证实施办法(暂行)》的要求。本文采用文献资料法等研究方法,以协同“学生中心、产出导向、持续改进”的师范类专业认证标准基本理念作为指导方针,探索师范类专业认证背景下体育教育专业人才培养方案的优化策略。

基于场动力理论的巡回指导教师专业发展机制研究

巡回指导教师是特殊教育学校教师角色变革与转型的重要产物,对其专业发展的关注是推动我国融合教育高质量发展的必然要求。基于场动力理论,采用主题分析法,深描巡回指导教师专业发展的困境、动力与路径,构建其专业发展机制的逻辑解释框架。研究结果表明,巡回指导教师数量少,在专业发展中面临融合教育理念推进困难、外部教育环境复杂、多重角色冲突难协调等困境。因此,巡回指导教师需要形成基于职业认同、自我效能感及专业发展意愿的内生动力,并在外界环境的支持下,通过自主学习和反思、积极参与科研与实践形成专业发展的内部通路;通过积极接受培训、参与专业发展共同体等实践活动,形成专业发展的外部通路,进而实现其可持续发展。
