Eight rare earth elements(REE) in 104 topsoil samples collected from the Loess Plateau has been determined by using of INAA. The regional distribution of REE contents and its effectiveness of REE applying on crops in this area are discussed. The preliminary results showed that the mean concentration of most REE in this area approaches to those of China as a whole; and REE content in main type of soil of the Loess Plateau is as follows: gray cinnamon forest soil, Lou soil(stratified old manured loessal soil)> Heilu soil(dark loessal soil) . loessal soil>sierozem, and similar with the distribution pattern of soil clay contents in the soil which decrease gradually from southeast to northwest. Based on tremendous work, China has made great achievements in research and development of REs since 1980s, and the production of RE has won the leading position in the world. The application of RE elements in advanced materials have progressed significantly during the past years. The wide range of rare earth application in China has been reviewed and discussed in this paper, including the development of advanced RE materials (RE-Al alloys, rare earth nonferrous metal alloys, rare earth luminescent materials, rare earth hydrogen storage materials, rare earth permanent magnet and rare earth compounds used in agriculture, i.e., rare earth micronutrient fertilizer etc.) End the research of new RE materials (high T-c rare earth superconductor, rare earth electronic and photonic materials, rare earth ceramics and rare earth precious metal alloys). Finally, the further development works to be required are as follow: (1) to enhance the applied fundamental research, study the intrinsic properties of rare earth elements and develop less well known uses; (2) to undertake the applied research of median and heavy rare earth and find a way out of the unbalance of RE resources in the various applications; (3) to strengthen the applied research of RE element's in energy field, solving the energy-related, energy-saved and environmental problems. 展开更多

The results show that 0.4 μmol·L^(-1) NdCl_3 in the rooted medium can obviously increase the rooting rate, length of root and fresh weight of roots, and enhance the activities of nitrate reductase, glutamine synthetase, glutamate dehydrogenase in the root system and in the leaves. The transformation of NO_3^- to NH_4^+ in root system and leaves are promoted and the nitrogen metabolism is accelerated with 0.4 μmol·L^(-1) NdCl_3 treatment. 展开更多

The results of experiments show that root growth rate and dry weight of GF_(43) by LaCl_3 treatments increase. The activities of antioxidant enzymes in root system such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD) apparently enhance. Moreover ·O^-_2 and malond ialdehyde (MDA) contents and cell membrane permeability of GF_(43) are decreased by LaCl_3. The relatively stable membrane structure of cell could also be maintained and the root ageing of GF_(43) plantlet in vitro delays. 展开更多

为了更加深入和系统地研究稀土对提高农产品产量、改善其品质和降低农产品中农药残留的效果,1997年湖南省农科院稀土农用研究中心和韩国井邑市农村指导所合作,在水稻、柑桔、西瓜、香瓜、葡萄、辣椒、蕃茄、黄瓜、豆角、空心菜和... 为了更加深入和系统地研究稀土对提高农产品产量、改善其品质和降低农产品中农药残留的效果,1997年湖南省农科院稀土农用研究中心和韩国井邑市农村指导所合作,在水稻、柑桔、西瓜、香瓜、葡萄、辣椒、蕃茄、黄瓜、豆角、空心菜和大白菜等作物上进行了施用稀土效果试验。试验结果表明,作物施用稀土后,水稻产量增加5.0%至10.3%,而且米质更佳,稻米中的氧化乐果残留量相对下降27.7%;柑桔产量增加7.9%至38.5%,可溶性固形物含量提高0.59%至0.60%,果汁和果皮中的氧化乐果残留量分别下降了25.8%和58.3%;西瓜产量增加22.9%,糖度提高0.5度,溴氰菊酯残留量下降34.9%;香瓜产量增加29.4%,氧化乐果残留量下降31.3%;葡萄产量增加75.0%至111.4%,糖度提高0.23~0.57度,溴氰菊酯残留量下降46.9%;辣椒产量增加5.2%至9.7%,Vc含量相对增加18.8%,氧化乐果残留量相对下降27.6%;蕃茄产量增加16.0%,Vc含量相对提高26.6%,但溴氰菊酯残留量反而增加了25.2%,这是唯一的例外;大白菜产量增加8.0%,氧化乐果残留量相对下降43%;黄瓜产量增加22.1%,Vc含? 展开更多
