Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Lower-Level Health Care Facilities of Dar es Salaam Region in Tanzania: Status towards Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Way Forward

Background: Improving Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in health care settings is a critical prerequisite for achieving national health goals and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a target for each United Nations member state to reach by 2030. Each member state is required to reach by 2022, 2025 and 2030 at least 60%, 80% and 100%, respectively of basic level of service of the five elements which are water, sanitation, hygiene, waste management and environmental cleaning. Methods: This study aimed to evaluate and document the current state of basic water, sanitation, and hygiene services in all lower-level health care facilities in the Dar es Salaam region of Tanzania as of July 2022. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 99 public dispensaries in the Dar es Salaam region’s five councils: Ubungo, Kigamboni, Kinondoni and Temeke Municipalities, and Ilala City. The interviewee form and observational checklists were both digitalized using the Kobo tool software. The respondents were health care facility in-charges or nurse in-charges. Data were downloaded, validated, and imported to Stata version 15 for analysis. Results: The basic WASH level per JMP is far below the target in 2022. Each member state by 2022 is required to reach at least 60% of the basic level of service of each element. We found a low coverage of basic WASH in the 99 dispensaries included in this study. The basic WASH coverage was met in only 10 (10.1%) of the dispensaries, while the remaining 89 (89.9%) dispensaries fall on limited WASH services. Conclusion: This study revealed lower coverage of basic WASH services in dispensaries. An urgent need is required to improve the status of WASH in all the dispensaries and facilitate the provision of quality health care services, patient safety and reduce health care associated infections.

Differentiated Paths of Regional Green Development Driven by Industrial Enterprise Innovation

A fundamental shift in the regional development pattern is crucial to achieving a comprehensive green transformation in China.Currently,innovation-driven green development is a significant strategic option for regional development.As the main body of innovation and the basic unit of regional composition,enterprises have a profound impact on the development of regional economy,society,ecology,and other aspects.However,considering China’s vast territory and significant regional differences in natural environment and industrial structure,it’s necessary to further explore the specific impact paths of regional green development driven by enterprise innovation.Therefore,taking industrial enterprises as an example,based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2016 to 2020,this study verifies the impact of industrial enterprise innovation on the regional green development level by constructing a parallel multiple mediating effect model and dividing the economy into eastern,central,and western regions to discuss the specific impact paths.The results show that industrial enterprise innovation has a significant positive effect on regional green development level,via different influencing paths in each region:(1)The eastern region improves the regional green development level by narrowing the urban-rural income gap;(2)The central region improves the regional green development level by reducing resource dependence;and(3)The western region raises the regional green development level by improving the rationalization of industrial structure.

To Evaluate of the Self-dependent Innovation Ability of Equipment Manufacturing Enterprises in Shaanxi Province

For an enterprise,what is important is to have the self-dependent innovation ability so that it can enhance the core competence unceasingly and acquire sustainable competitive advantages. In this paper,the indicator system of the self-dependent innovation ability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Shaanxi province is constructed,in which includes 4 one-level indicators and 13 two-level indicators; and conducts empirical research by applying the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.

Modernization of Governance System and Governance Capability of State-Owned Enterprises

State-owned enterprises are important pillars of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the modernization of their governance system and governance capacity is an important part of the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.Through case study and specific practice,this paper carries out an in-depth thinking and serious analysis on how to promote the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity of state-owned enterprises under the new situation and requirements.This paper puts forward three kinds of management and control mechanism to enhance core competence in addition to the specific implementation path by using digital governance means.

Novel Complex T-Spherical Dual Hesitant Uncertain Linguistic Muirhead Mean Operators and Their Application in Decision-Making

In this manuscript,the theory of complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic set is discovered,which is the mixture of three different ideas like the complex T-spherical fuzzy set,dual hesitant fuzzy set,and uncertain linguistic set.The complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic set composes the uncertain linguistic set,truth grade,abstinence grade,and falsity grade.Whose real and imaginary parts are the subset of a unit interval,and some of their operational laws are also presented.The theory of complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic Muirhead mean operator,complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic weighted Muirhead mean operator,complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic dual Muirhead mean operator and complex T-spherical dual hesitant uncertain linguistic weighted dual Muirhead mean operator are discovered.Some exceptional cases of the proposed operators are also examined.A multi-attribute decision making technique is further utilized based on explored operators.Moreover,an enterprise informatization level evaluation issue is resolved by using the presented operators to verify the proficiency and capability of the discovered approaches.Finally,some comparative analysis and advantages of the explored works are further developed to express that it is more flexible and effective than the existing methods.

Noise Exposure Levels in Basic School Environments in a City in Ghana

Basic schools that are located in heavily populated residential and commercial areas in Ghana are exposed to environmental noise that can have detrimental effects on the academic attainments of children. Limited studies have been conducted on noise level in basic schools to date in Ghana. The objective of the study was to assess noise levels in and around learning spaces in basic schools in Ghana with a focus on Kumasi. A survey employing the use of interviews and an empirical monitoring of noise levels in and around learning spaces in four selected basic schools were adopted. The study revealed that mean outdoor and indoor noise levels exceed the World Health Organisation permissible limits by 30 - 40 percent and 90 - 107 percent respectively for schools in the commercial zones and schools that are located near highways. The school that is sited in an educational environment with a setback from the highway attained mean noise levels ranging from 1.2 percent below to 3.7 percent above the permissible limits for outdoor and between 64 - 105 percent for indoor. The outcome of the study is expected to engender the design of environmental noise resilient buildings to facilitate teaching and learning in basic schools in Ghana.

A Study on Senior English Vocabulary Teaching Based on Prototype Category Theory

The emphasis is laid on expanding students’vocabulary in the new English Curriculum Standards.Without effective approaches to vocabulary learning,students can hardly form vocabulary networks in mind.Combining with modern educational technology,the author carries out experimental teaching to explore the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching based on prototype category theory and presents some samples of vocabulary teaching.The study shows that these teaching methods can effectively enhance students’cognition abilities,stimulate association,promote vocabulary processing,form a categorized network schema,and finally improve students’lexical competence and long-term memory.

Assisting Nurses in Basic-Level Hospitals to Improve Three Capacities

The importance of scientific study has received more and more attentions from various levels of hospitals,while paper writing,topic declaring,and achievement and patent grasping have become the fundamental tasks for the hospitals. As nurses in basic-level hospitals,howto find and implement excellent scientific research thoughts in busy work has become a challenge in front of them. Nursing of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western M edicine attempts to establish a Special Fund for Nursing of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western M edicine( "Special Fund"for short),aiming to support and assisting nurses in basic-level hospitals to conduct nursing-associated scientific research project approval,achievement declaration and publication,and to promote the co-improvement of scientific research level,academic level and quality of journals in domestic nursing field of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine by assisting the nurses in basic-level hospitals to improve their declaring,executing and summarizing capacities on nursing research topics.

数字金融的绿色效应:数字普惠金融与企业绿色技术创新

在新发展理念下,基于绿色导向与创新导向系统实现企业的绿色技术创新成为企业绿色转型与创新驱动发展的重要突破口。本文选取中国沪深A股上市公司数据,考察了数字普惠金融对企业绿色技术创新的具体影响效应及其机制。研究结果表明:数字普惠金融及其覆盖广度、使用深度和数字化程度均显著促进企业绿色技术创新,数字普惠金融主要通过提高企业创新投入、降低企业风险水平以及增强企业治理水平的三重机制促进企业绿色技术创新,数字普惠金融对企业绿色技术创新的促进效应在融资约束程度高与市场化程度低地区的企业中更为明显。因此,政府要深化金融供给侧结构性改革,推动数字普惠金融发展;企业要高度重视数字普惠金融的赋能效应,完善数字普惠金融助力企业绿色技术创新的协同机制,通过实施绿色技术创新战略实现企业绿色低碳转型升级。

基于Visual Basic的船厂现场拉练信息管理系统

为提高船厂对施工现场数据的管理水平,以Visual Basic为编程语言,以SQL Server为后台数据库,以ActiveX数据对象(ActiveX Data Objects,ADO)为数据库访问技术,开发一套现场拉练信息管理系统。研究表明:该系统可实现相关信息的传递、储存和查阅,方便相关人员进行数据处理与维护。研究成果可为船厂信息管理系统的建设提供一定参考。

“院校合作、医教协同”模式培养新时代基层医生的实践研究

多层级视角下基础研究社会-技术系统的主体、要素及作用机制

基础研究是整个科学体系的源头,其创新发展和突破将从根本上助推国家创新能力和国际科技竞争力提升,也是中国“加快建设科技强国,实现高水平科技自立自强”的根本前提。本文从社会-技术系统角度出发,运用多层级视角分析框架,探讨中国基础研究社会-技术系统的构成主体和构成要素,在此基础上系统分析基础研究社会-技术系统景观层、体制层和利基层三个层级协同互动推动基础研究创新的作用机制,以及三个层级的多重要素协同并发促进基础研究创新的作用机制。研究结果表明:推进基础研究需要基础研究社会-技术系统各个层级之间相互协调配合,要加强景观环境的引导和利基空间的防护培育,还应当注重体制层系统多维度的变革和调整,以突破基础研究社会-技术体制的路径依赖和锁定。

企办高职院校装备制造类高水平实训基地建设的研究与探讨

企办高职院校是我国高等职业教育发展中的一个重要类型,研究以推动高职院校发展、提高高水平实训基地建设水平、提升人才培养质量为工作重点,探索企办院校装备制造类高水平实训基地建设目标和建设内容。依托实训基地建设,有效推动三教改革,加快双师型师资队伍建设,促进学生职业技能与职业素养双提升,使人才培养更具有针对性和适应性,有效助推企业转型升级、服务区域经济产业发展。

护理专升本《基础护理理论与实践》课程教学研究

目的了解护理专升本学生对《基础护理理论与实践》课程教学的感受,为提高教学和学习效果提供参考依据。方法选取2021年3—7月新疆医科大学698名专升本护生为调查对象,采用问卷调查的方式,探讨《基础护理理论与实践》课程的授课内容、教学方法及考核方式等。结果1)在护理专升本学生中,女生609名(87.25%)占比大于男生89名(12.75%);北疆379名(54.30%)高于南疆271名(38.83%)和疆外48名(6.88%);对专业感兴趣的为481名(68.91%),不感兴趣的为75名(10.74%)。2)在理论学习方面,学生认为排列在前3位的重要内容为:静脉输液与输血633名(90.69%)、病情观察及危重症患者的管理607名(86.96%)、给药598名(85.67%)。实验项目中,学生认为心肺复苏最重要626名(89.68%),其次为静脉输液620名(88.83%)及各种注射法616名(88.25%)。3)授课方式方面:理论授课中选择案例式教学法最多623名(89.26%),实验授课中选择演示法最多607名(86.96%)。4)在考核评价方式方面:选择线上考核的形式的学生最多,共565名(80.95%)。结论专升本的学生在性别、生源地、对专业的兴趣度及选择专升本的原因存在多元化,学生在学习中对教学内容、教学方法及考核评价方式的选择存在差异,教师应根据学生实际情况,调整教学内容、教学方法及考核评价方法,以提高教学效果。

企业基础研究决策的同群效应及影响因素

以2013-2022年中国沪深A股制造业和信息技术业上市企业为样本,实证检验基础研究的同群效应的存在性、模仿路径及其影响因素。研究发现,企业基础研究决策受行业内其他企业的影响,即存在行业同群效应,其模仿路径呈现出一定的先内后外规律。企业所处的竞争地位越高,既往基础研究经验越丰富,其基础研究决策越容易受到行业同群的影响。相较于非国有企业,国有企业基础研究决策受同群企业影响程度较高。研究进一步发现,企业基础研究决策同群效应对企业创新绩效有正向促进作用。研究发现为更好地理解企业基础研究的外在驱动力,并为鼓励企业开展基础研究与完善中国基础研究政策体系提供思路参考。

金融市场化水平、资本错配与僵尸企业形成

通过提高金融市场化水平完善资本要素的配置,是建设高标准市场体系的内在要求,是通过经济运行出清僵尸企业的重要手段。基于中国规模以上工业企业数据和金融业市场化指数数据,实证分析金融市场化水平对僵尸企业形成的影响及其机制,结果发现:金融市场化水平低下是僵尸企业形成的重要诱因,更换变量测度和样本期间,以及使用工具变量后结果保持稳健。同时,金融市场化水平对僵尸企业形成的影响在不同所有制和规模企业之间存在异质性。机制检验发现,金融市场化水平低下通过加剧“资本错配”机制促进僵尸企业形成,并且这种影响机制在国有企业和小规模企业中表现得更为明显。这从金融市场化水平的视角解释了僵尸企业形成的缘由,所以政策上应从完善资本要素配置入手解决僵尸企业出清。

中国龙头科技企业技术创新能力驱动路径研究——基于fsQCA研究方法

为推动中国科技企业高质量发展,提升科技企业创新能力,对中国龙头科技企业技术创新能力进行深入探究。基于企业内部研发资金投入、研发人员投入和税收优惠、地方补贴及行业技术5个前因条件,阐述其对中国龙头科技企业技术创新能力的影响。采用模糊集定性比较分析法对26家中国不同行业上市龙头科技企业进行分析,构建前因条件对创新能力的影响框架,结果发现:从整体看,企业研发投入、地方政府补贴以及行业技术通过不同条件组态影响龙头科技企业创新能力;从企业资源看,相较于研发资金,研发人员对龙头科技企业创新能力的影响更加显著;从外部环境看,市场和政府采用优势互补方式驱动龙头科技企业创新,且市场行业技术对企业创新的影响更显著,地方政府补贴对企业创新发挥显著激励作用。
