Methods: Domestic databases in the past 20 years (January 1999-December 2019) were searched by computer, including China Journal Full-text Database (CNKI), VIP, Wanfang and CBM. Literature was screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Cochrane risk assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the included literature. Two-classification method was used to extract data. RevMan 5.3 software was used to make statistical analysis of the data. Results: Eleven articles were finally included, totaling 1,576 patients, 804 cases in the treatment group and 772 cases in the control group. Meta-analysis results show that there is no difference in heterogeneity and bias among the included literatures. The total effective rate (risk ratio [RR]=1.12, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.09-1.15) of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in treating venous ulcer of lower limbs is higher, which is obviously better than that of western medicine alone. Conclusion: Through data analysis, it is concluded that in the study population, the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has a significant effect on venous ulcer of lower limbs. Make up for the deficiency of simple western medicine treatment, improve the cure rate and reduce the recurrence rate. However, there is currently a lack of relevant high-quality literature, so a large sample size, rigorous and standardized experimental design and randomized double-blind clinical study are needed to further test the conclusions.展开更多

In abroad, attention has been mainly payed to raising antisera and monocolonal antibodies against the endotoxin and the induced mediators. However, the allergic reactions and the cost are still the problems. Till now, there is no drug that can antagonize endotoxin with high effectiveness and low toxicity. Clinical treatments are still confined in inhibiting or killing the pathogen, and correcting the internal environmental disturbance. Being less toxic and rich in resources with low cost and less side-effects, screening of effective Chinese drugs for antagonizing endotoxin is of important and practical significance. Endotoxin belongs to the category of toxic evils, or more precisely, the heat toxin in TCM. Therefore the application of heat-clearing and detoxifying Chinese drugs to antagonizing endotoxins is consistent with the theory of TCM. Some achievements in this field are reported as follows.展开更多

Clinically, it is mainly characterized by arthralgia, swelling, and motor impairment. Since the knee joint is the load-bearing joint of the human body, and is susceptible to trauma, gonitis tends to have the highest morbidity in the four limbs, which manifests itself arthritis of patella and femur at the early stage; narrowness or disappearance of the medial joint space at the mid stage; and damage of the cartilage accompanied with flexion deformity at the late stage. In recent years, based on the experience of Prof. Cao Yiming, the author has treated 47 cases of gonitis by combined use of Chinese drugs and acupuncture, and obtained satisfactory therapeutic results as reported in the following.展开更多

Methods: This systematic review will include prospective and retrospective comparative studies in all languages and evaluate the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine versus single western medicine in treatment AP. Animal studies will not be considered. Published articles were acquired from Jan. 2001 to Dec. 2017 by a comprehensive search in Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure database (CNKI), Chinese WANFANG database. Exclusion criteria were non-comparative studies, hybrid treatment. The main points include clinical efficacy;carefully evaluating and reviewing the literature and filtering the literature according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Statistical analyses were performed using software Review Manager (Version 5.0). Publication biases of main results were examined by Stata 12.0. Results: 1262 cases of 1342 cases were effective and the effective rate reaches 94.04% in the group of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, while 949 cases of 1223 cases were effective and its effective rate can be up to 77.60% in the group of single western medicine (P > 0.05%, I2 = 0%, Odds Ratio (OR) = 4.98, 95% CI = 3. 79 - 6.54, P Conclusion: These results suggest that the therapeutic effects of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine on AP are better in treatment of AP than that of western medicine alone.
文摘 Since 1995, the Chinese herbal medicine for supplementing qi and activating blood circulation combined with injection of ahylsantinfarctase into the femoral artery has been used in 28 cases of diabetes complicated with gangrene and ulcer of the foot, with quite good therapeutic effects as reported in the following.……
文摘Between 1985 and 1989, 285 cases of metastatic carcinoma in the supraclavicular lymph nodes were treated by the following five methods: Chinese medication, radiotherapy plus Chinese medication, chemotherapy plus Chinese medication, combined Chinese and Western medicine and expectant treatment. Analysis shows that radiotherapy plus Chinese medication has the best curative effect with an effective rate of 75.5%. The effective rates were 74.2% for the combined treatment, 55.5% for the chemotherapy plus medication, 12.5% for the Chinese medication, and none for expectant treatment.
文摘On the basis of the characteristics of Chinese language such.as simple and uniform structure, distinct hierarchy and construction by word order and function words, and in the view of the human cognitive mechanism, a hierarchical combination method for computer understanding of Chinese language is put forward in this paper. By this method, the whole information of a sentence is hierarchically combined from the partial information of the basic units of it, with the unification operation under attribute description frames. This method is perfect in combining syntax analysis with semantic analysis, easy to implement, and very suitable for the computer understanding system for processing Chinese language.
文摘Objective:To observe and compare whether the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine can achieve more satisfactory results in the treatment of patients with chronic ulcerative rectitis(UR).Methods:70 cases of chronic ulcerative rectitis were selected in all hospitals of our hospital for comparison.Observation and control were set up.The number of people was the same, but there were differences in methods. The control group retained enema, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine.Rectal mucosa scores after different treatments were compared to evaluate the effect of intervention. Results:It was found that the observation group scored lower(P<0.05),and the effect was better. Conclusion:For the treatment of patients with chronic ulcerative rectitis, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine will help to promote the prognosis of the disease, improve the problem of ulcer, promote the improvement of gastrointestinal function and bring a more positive impact.
文摘In the recent decade, interest in treatment and prevention of many critical, severe and acute diseases caused by bacterial endotoxins has been aroused along with the advance of the knowledge on the nature of the endotoxin and the conditions involved. Some achievements in this field are reported as follows.
文摘Even though radiotherapy is a therapy of first choice in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, its radiotoxicity is often difficult to bear for patients in addition to the unsatisfactory effect in some patients. Therefore, an important problem in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is to abate radiotherapeutic toxicity and improve its effect. Some progresses in promoting the effect of radiotherapy and abating its toxicity have been made through application of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which is briefly reviewed as follows.
文摘Infection of the urinary system is frequently seen in the paraplegic patients with urinary complications, which is one of the main reasons for the late death in such cases. The effects of the therapeutic method adopted for the urinary rehabilitation are directly related to the life quality and survival time of the paraplegic patients. Since 1999-2002, the authors had applied Chinese herbal medicine combined with acupuncture for the urinary rehabilitation in 52 paraplegic patients, with quite good therapeuticresults as reported in the following.
文摘Osteoarthritis, a nonspecific inflammatory lesion, is a commonly seen joint disease. Cao Yiming, the author has treated 47 cases of gonitis by combined use of Chinese drugs and acupuncture, and obtained satisfactory therapeutic results as reported in the following.

文摘Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical effect (including effective rate and recurrence rate) of the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of granulomatous mastitis (GM).Methods: Computer searches CNKI, Wanfang database, VIP, PubMed, web of science and EMBASE, Chinese biomedical database, and selects randomized controlled trial (RCT) of treating granulomatous mastitis with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The retrieval time is from July 2019 to July 2019. Then, we used Revman 5.3 software to meta analyze the data. Results: Nine RCTs were included, six of which were effective observation, two of which were recurrence rate observation, one of which was effective observation and reexamination rate observation. A total of 664 patients were included, including 456 in the experimental group and 208 in the control group. After analysis, it was found that the effective rate of GM in the experimental group was 92.3%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (Western medicine alone) by 75.5% (or = 4.09, 95% CI (2.28, 7.36), P < 00001), the recurrence rate of GM in the experimental group (treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine) was 21.6%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (treated with western medicine alone) by 55.7% (or = 0.19, 95% CI (0.10, 0.37), P < 0.0001).Conclusion: The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of granulomatous mastitis can not only improve the effective rate of clinical treatment, but also reduce the recurrence rate of granulomatous mastitis.
