An In-depth Interpretation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights With the Common Values of Humanity As the Research Paradigm

Interpreting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from political,juridical and philosophical perspectives is es-sential for promoting the guiding principles of the Declaration,build-ing consensus on human rights,and advancing human rights practice in the new historical context.To conduct an academic,systematic in-terpretation of the Declaration that conforms to the trends of the times and answers the fundamental questions of the world,it is necessary to find a new research paradigm.The common values of humanity,namely peace,development,equity,justice,democracy and freedom,put forward by Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee,provide the most explanatory and penetrating scientific paradigm for reaching the issue.This paper an-alyzes and reflects on the views,value foundation and principled(con-tractual)consensus of human rights in the Declaration,and narrates and foresees the far-reaching significance of the three global initia-tives(namely,the Global Development Initiative,the Global Security Initiative,and the Global Civilization Initiative)with the common val-ues of humanity as the soul in advancing the modernization of global human rights governance and building a new form of human rights civilization.

Technological Innovation: A Primary Driver to Promote Global Urban Common Prosperity——An Analysis of Factors Influencing the Competitiveness of 1,007 Cities around the World

Common prosperity,an important goal of human development,increasingly has to be achieved through the common prosperity of cities.The research into and discovery of the determinants which create differences in urban economic competitiveness is of great signi ficance as,thereby,the research and expected discovery can help with the formulation of relevant policies for development,competition,and cooperation to promote win-win conditions among cities.However,such research is still rare.Based on the economic competitiveness data of 1,007 cities,this paper uses OLS regression and Shapley-value based decompositions regression to analyze factors affecting the economic competitiveness of global cities and differences that the cities made.Combined with quantile regression,studying the law of changing of each factor's effect on cities with different levels of economic competitiveness is of theoretical and practical signi ficance.The study findings are as follows.(1)The variability of global urban economic competitiveness is quite large.Cities in North America and Europe are still the benchmarks of global urban economic prosperity.(2)Financial services,technological innovation,industrial system,business environment,institutional environment,infrastructure,among other factors,have signi ficant impacts on the economic competitiveness of cities.(3)The primary factor that in fluenced the variability in economic competitiveness is technological innovation.(4)The ranking of the main in fluencing factors varied slightly between cities at different levels of economic competitiveness.These indicate that the international community should promote innovation in and diffusion of science and technology to achieve common prosperity by narrowing the gap between cities.The relevant decision-making departments,e.g.urban planning departments with strong economic and finance expertise of the cities in different development zones should adopt different measures in accordance with their actual situations.

The Role of Comparative Literature for Building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind

The human society is an interdependent community of shared future.Rooted in the foundation of “Great Harmony” ideology in Chinese traditional culture,the idea of “a community of shared future for mankind” is an important part of the socialism thoughts with Chinese characteristics in new era.The similarities and differences of cultures are the base of complementation and premise of innovative development rather than the source of conflicts.The core value of community of shared future is harmony,which with the goal of win-win can be achieved only by actively advocating cultural diversity,strengthening the effective and equal dialogue and understanding and complementing between different cultures or civilizations,and creating an inclusive,tolerant and reasonable peaceful environment.In this respect,the comparative literature research should inevitably play its irreplaceable role as a bridge to enable the communication,dialogue and understanding between eastern and western literature and cultures.The communication between cultures is homogeneous but the interaction between cultural soils as well as national cultures is heterogeneous.During the communication process of literature works,it’s necessary to further study the literature content under cultural differences.The community of shared future for mankind is not only a new idea for global governance but also a new kind of expression of the habitat guarding and building awareness;it is the real and physically objective existence and also the imaginary and emotional spirit pursuit.In the context that the comparative literature is trying to develop into the world literature,it’s the mission for mankind to make it possible the wide transmission,reading and studying of the diversified and unique literature works of different countries,which can manifest the common value connotation of human beings,and to spare no effort to remove obstacles from the path to the destination of a community of shared future for mankind.

Points of Coincidence and Common Fixed Points for Ⅱ-Expansive Mappings on Complex Valued Metric Spaces

Abstract. We use the two mappings satisfying II-expansive conditions on complex valued metric spaces to construct the convergent sequences and prove that the unique limit of the sequences is the point of coincidence or common fixed point of the two mappings. Also, we discuss the uniqueness of points of coincidence or common fixed points and give the existence theorems of unique fixed points. The obtained results generalize and improve the corresponding conclusions in references.

Global Value Chain Optimization Effect of the Belt and Road Initiative-From the Perspective of Improving Participating Countries’Position in the Division of Labor

To promote the reconstruction and optimization of the global value chains(GVCs),it is essential to tackle the prominent contradictions and problems including inequality of opportunity and status in the evolution of the GVC division of labor.The Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)promoted by China has obtained remarkable achievements in this regard;however,there lacks sound theoretical and empirical evidence as to whether the BRI has driven the GVCs to develop towards a more equitable direction.This paper employs the difference-in-differences model to empirically analyze the GVC optimization effect of the BRI.In addition,on the basis of the so-called“five-pronged approach”index,the paper uses the mediating effect model to test the mechanism of influence.The empirical results suggest that the BRI has helped participating countries along the routes to increase their position in GVC division of labor significantly through the mediating mechanism of four out of the“five-pronged approach”,namely policy coordination,road connectivity,unimpeded trade,and currency convertibility.The strengthening of and closer people-to-people ties has not yet appeared to be an effective mediator,and a possible explanation may be that its influence is indirect and lagging.

Common Management Process Model of New TQM Based on the Situation Analysis

In the previous study, we suggested the concept of new TQM based on the consideration of basic concept of Quality Control. Also, in the previous study, we suggested the target domains and entities of product and process based on the TQM Matrix and view point of Three Dimensional Unification Value Models for managing quality of organization systems. Furthermore, in the previous study, we suggest the Common Management Process of organizations. Based on the above suggestion, in this paper, we would like to propose the Common Management Process Model of Total Quality Management based on the consideration of situation analysis and more precise definition of TQM Matrix and Three Dimensional Unification Value Model of “Product and Process”. Improvement of quality and efficiency of organization management can be expected by the integration of conventional different management such as quality assurance, quality improvement, risk management, investment individually from the view point of common management process.

COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR MULTI-VALUED MAPS

We establish some results on coincidence and common fixed points for a twopair of multi-valued and single-valued maps in complete metric spaces. Presented theorems generalize recent results of Gordji et al [4] and several results existing in the literature.

Predictive value and main determinants of abnormal features of intraoperative cholangiography during cholecystectomy

BACKGROUND:The major issue with intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) is whether its diagnostic accuracy for common bile duct (CBD) stones matches that of other diagnostic procedures,and thus,whether it will become a routine diagnostic procedure.The current study aimed to address the main determinants of CBD stone diagnosis in IOC among an Iranian population.METHODS:In a retrospective review database-based study conducted in Taleghani Hospital in Tehran between 2006 and 2008,baseline data and perioperative information of 2060 patients (male to female ratio 542:1518,mean age 53.7 years) who were candidates for cholecystectomy and underwent concomitant IOC for confirming CBD stones were reviewed.The predictive power of this procedure for diagnosis of abnormal biliary ducts with the focus on biliary stones was determined.RESULTS:Overall mortality and morbidity following cholecystectomy in the study population were 0.6% and 2.6%,respectively.Both early mortality and morbidity due to cholecystectomy were higher in male than female.The prevalence of CBD stones in IOC was 3.4% (5.2% in male and 2.8% in female,P=0.008).Among those without gallstones,8.7% had CBD stones and only 3.1% had concomitant gallstones and CBD stones.The main predictors of stone appearance as an abnormal feature of IOC during cholecystectomy were:advanced age (OR=1.022,P=0.001),male gender (OR=1.498,P=0.050),history of abdominal surgery (OR=1.543,P=0.040) and preoperative endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (OR=5.400,P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:IOC is a safe and accurate method for the assessment of bile duct anatomy and stones.Therefore,the routine use of IOC within cholecystectomy seems reasonable and is recommended.

B-Implicit Contractive Conditions and Unique（Common） Fixed Points on Complex Valued Metric Spaces

A class B of complex functions is introduced and several existence theorems of unique(common) fixed points for mappings satisfying a B-implicit contraction are presented.Moreover, the existence results of common fixed points for two mappings on a nonempty set with two complex valued metrics are provided. Our outcomes generalize and improve some known results, especially, for instance, Banach contraction principle, Chatterjea-type fixed point theorem and the corresponding fixed point theorems.

Source-Generated Noise Suppression Using the Singular Value Decomposition

Source-generated noise, such as air, refracted, guided waves, near-surface multiples, and radial ground roll, is one of the most challenging problems in the land seismic method. The interference of the noise with reflection events often results in a distorted representation of the subsurface and gives rise to interpretation uncertainties. To suppress the noise, geophysicists have devised various techniques in both acquisition and processing stages. Conventional processing methods, such as high-pass, f - k and hyperbolic velocity filters, however, have certain disadvantages when handling actual seismic data. In this study, we present a new hybrid method combining singular value decomposition (SVD) with a special linear transformation of the common-shot gather. The method is aimed at effectively removing the noise while minimizing harm to the signal. As compared with other methods, the SVD-based one gives a denser approximation to source-generated noise before its subtraction from the seismic data, due to the use of more appropriate basis functions. The special transformation applied in advance to the data is intended to align the source-generated noise events horizontally and thus to benefit the subsequent SVD. The effectiveness of the method in suppressing source-generated noise is demonstrated with a synthetic data set. Emphasis is put on the comparison of the performance of the method with that of conventional f - k filtering.

Common Fixed Points for Mappings with Quasi-Lipschitz Conditions on TVS-valued Cone Metric Spaces

A new unique common fixed point result for a pair of mappings satisfying certain quasi-Lipschitz type conditions on a topological vector space-valued cone metric space is obtained, and its particular forms and a more general form are given. 乡村生态产品价值实现的现实困境与优化路径——基于共同富裕的视角

共同富裕是社会主义的本质要求,是中国式现代化的重要特征。加快乡村生态产品价值实现,是促进乡村振兴和实现共同富裕的主要抓手和必由路径。文章从乡村生态产品价值实现推动共同富裕的内在机理出发,提出乡村生态产品价值实现不仅可以促进乡村物质和精神的“双富裕”,而且有助于调节城乡差距,体现公平正义。当前,乡村生态产品价值实现仍受到农民参与度不高、所需要素匹配不足、实现机制不完善等因素的制约,建议以“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念为指引,加强宣传引导、提高农民认知,完善乡村基本要素配置和相关机制的建设,有效实现乡村生态产品价值,推动农村共同富裕。

国家公园生态产品价值实现的机制及模式——以神农架国家公园为例

探究生态产品价值实现的机制及模式是国家公园加快生态文明建设、推动“绿水青山”向“金山银山”转化的关键。构建了国家公园社会-经济-自然复合生态系统,分析国家公园生态产品特征并划分类别,以神农架国家公园试点为例,探究了国家公园生态产品价值的实现路径与机制,建立了国家公园生态产品价值实现模式。结果表明:(1)国家公园复合生态系统由社会、经济和自然生态系统构成,形成一个相互影响、相互关联的整体。(2)国家公园生态产品具有生物生产性、资源稀缺性、人类收益性、地域整体性、政策依赖性、利益平衡性等特征,识别与分类生态产品有助于复合生态系统的平稳运行与健康发展,进而实现生态产品价值。(3)国家公园生态产品总体分为公共性、准公共性和经营性三类,并由政府主导、社区主导、市场主导与多主体复合型路径组成的价值实现路径体系完成价值实现。(4)国家公园生态产品价值实现机制由生态保护机制、经济发展机制、社区进步机制和协调保障机制四部分构成,服务于生态保护、产业发展和社区振兴三个目标。(5)国家公园生态产品价值实现过程中存在一定问题,以生态保护为首要任务、旅游发展为实现路径、社区振兴为核心目标,构建神农架国家公园“生态保护-旅游发展-社区振兴”共生模式,并进一步提出生态产品价值实现的生态旅游模式,以协调处理神农架国家公园复合生态系统结构内的矛盾,实现国家公园生态产品价值的最大化。综上所述,丰富了生态产品价值实现理论,并为国家公园生态产品价值实现模式提供了重要的科学依据与决策参考。国家公园“生态保护-旅游发展-社区振兴”的共生模式以及国家公园生态产品实现的生态旅游模式,将为国家公园生态产品价值的实现提供更加全面与有效的路径与模式。
