Objective:To explore the relationship between bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy),their character-istics were analyzed at the target and pharmacodynamic points.Methods:Compounds with bitter receptor activity were...Objective:To explore the relationship between bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy),their character-istics were analyzed at the target and pharmacodynamic points.Methods:Compounds with bitter receptor activity were obtained by high-throughput screening models of the human bitter taste receptors(hTAS2Rs),which were used to analyze bitter taste.The efficacy of anti-asthma medications was used as an example to research bitter flavor(efficacy).The pharmacological effects of bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)were classified according to the functional modules.The coverage for the same targets or pharmacological effects in the overall protein interaction network(PIN)of bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)was analyzed to reveal their relationship.The effect of the compound polydatin with anti-asthma activation on hTAS2R14 was studied to verify the reliability of the aforementioned idea.Results:A total of 121 Chinese materia medica(CMM)compounds that activate hTAS2R10,hTAS2R14,and hTAS2R49 were obtained.The analysis results indicated that 108 same targets for bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)were obtained,accounting for 13.9%in the PIN of bitter taste and 72.5%in the PIN of bitter flavor(efficacy).The pharmacological effects shared by bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)accounted for 79%of the PIN of bitter taste and 81%of the PIN of bitter flavor(efficacy).The activating effect of the anti-asthma compound polydatin on hTAS2R14 was dose-dependent with EC 50 of 4.3 m M.Conclusion:In this study,the relationship between bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)has been demonstrated from the target and pharmacodynamic points,which are based on hTAS2Rs and anti-asthma effect.Bitter taste and bitter flavor(efficacy)exhibited a high correlation.This study provides a theoretical and scientific basis for the hypothesis that“the property theory of CMM is the clinical pharmacodynamics of CMM.”展开更多

Highland barley is a well-known cereal in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau area with high nutritional value,which has been reported to be a health-promoting grain for the obesity and the diabetes.Fermentation by certain microbio...Highland barley is a well-known cereal in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau area with high nutritional value,which has been reported to be a health-promoting grain for the obesity and the diabetes.Fermentation by certain microbiota can improve the flavor property and nutritional characteristics.In the present study,Lactiplantibacillus plantarum and Saccharomyces cerevisiae were singly or jointly applied to ferment highland barley,and the profile of volatile substances and lipid-lowering effects of the respective extracts were analyzed.Results indicated that either L.plantarum or S.cerevisiae or co-fermentation could consume the polysaccharides of highland barley to provide energy,and dramatically increase the contents of total protein and polyphenol.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)analysis revealed that the presence of S.cerevisiae was critical for production of the pleasant flavors,especially for the ethyl ester substances including hexadecanoic acid ethyl,hexanoic acid ethyl ester and so on.Meanwhile,we found that fermented highland barley extracts by L.plantarum exhibited stronger lipid-lowering effects in Caenorhabditis elegans than that by S.cerevisiae,while the co-fermentation not only emitted pleasant odors but also exerted high hypolipidemic function.In all,co-fermentation by L.plantarum and S.cerevisiae was proposed to be a promising processing to improve the flavor and functional properties of highland barley.展开更多

The experimental result...The effects of Li2O-MgO-B2O3 (LMB) glass additive on the sintering characteristics, phase purity, microstructure, and microwave dielectric properties of Li2MgTi3O8 ceramics were investigated. The experimental results demonstrate that the addition of LMB glass effectively lowers the sintering temperature of Li2MgTi3O8 ceramic from 1025 ℃ to 875 ℃ and induces no obvious degradation of the microwave dielectric properties. Typically, the 1.5%LMB glass-added Li2MgTi3O8 ceramic sintered at 875 ℃ for 4 h shows excellent microwave dielectric properties of Q×f=45403 GHz, εr=25.9 and τf≈0 ℃-1. The dielectric ceramic exhibits stability against the reaction with the Ag electrode, which indicates that the ceramics could be applied in multilayer microwave devices requiring low firing temperatures.展开更多
Bio-inspired porous metallic scaffolds have tremendous potential to be used as artificial bone substitutes.In this work,a radially graded lattice structure (RGLS),which mimics the structures of natural human bones,was...Bio-inspired porous metallic scaffolds have tremendous potential to be used as artificial bone substitutes.In this work,a radially graded lattice structure (RGLS),which mimics the structures of natural human bones,was designed and processed by laser powder bed fusion of martensitic Ti-rich TiNi powder.The asymmetric tension-compression behaviour,where the compressive strength is significantly higher than the tensile strength,is observed in this Ti-rich TiNi material,which echoes the mechanical behaviour of bones.The morphologies,mechanical properties,deformation behaviour,and biological compatibility of RGLS samples were characterised and compared with those in the uniform lattice structure.Both the uniform and RGLS samples achieve a relative density higher than 99%.The graded porosities and pore sizes in the RGLS range from 40%-80% and 330-805 µm,respectively,from the centre to the edge.The chemical etching has significantly removed the harmful partially-melted residual powder particles on the lattice struts.The compressive yield strength of RGLS is 71.5 MPa,much higher than that of the uniform sample (46.5 MPa),despite having a similar relative density of about 46%.The calculated Gibson-Ashby equation and the deformation behaviour simulation by finite element suggest that the dense outer regions with high load-bearing capability could sustain high applied stress,improving the overall strength of RGLS significantly.The cell proliferation study suggests better biological compatibility of the RGLS than the uniform structures.The findings highlight a novel strategy to improve the performance of additively manufactured artificial implants by bio-inspiration.展开更多

The compatibility between gelatin and PVA in the blend films was investigated. The transmittance, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), x-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry analysis (TG), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were employed to characterize the resultant blend films. According to optic result, the opacity of the blend film at the ratio of 20/80 (w/w, Gel to PVA) was the lowest, indicating the best compatibility between Gel and PVA at the ratio. The results oflR, XRD, DSC, and TG revealed an intensive interaction and good compatibility between them in the blend film at the ratio. The mechanical properties and solubility showed that PVA content in the blend films obviously affected the elongation at break and solubility. The mechanical properties and water resistance of gelatin film may be improved by the introduetion of PVA.展开更多

The XPSresults demonstrated that the surface and bulk composition of the PS-g-SPEO graftcopolymers differ remarkably from each other,and that SPEO component was constantlyenriched at the copolymer/air interface. Contact angle studies indicated that the surfacewater wettability can be adjusted effectively by changing the composition of the copolymer.PS-g-SPEO graft copolymers can undergo microphase separation as clearly illustrated byTEM photographs. Antibacterial Ti-5Cu alloy is a promising substitute material for Ti-made cardiovascular implants,so its surface engineering is crucial to expediting clinical implementation.Given the antibacterial and cardiovas-cular...Antibacterial Ti-5Cu alloy is a promising substitute material for Ti-made cardiovascular implants,so its surface engineering is crucial to expediting clinical implementation.Given the antibacterial and cardiovas-cular biological benefits of Cu^(2+)and titanium-nitride-oxide(TiN x O y)coatings,a Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating with upregulated Cu^(2+)release was successfully deposited on Ti-5Cu alloy for the first time using oxygen and nitrogen plasma-based surface modification.The superhydrophilic and nanostructured Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating had a dense structure and was well bonded to the substrate,resulting in enhanced cor-rosion resistance,while CuO/Cu_(2)O in the coating released Cu^(2+)faster than Ti_(2)Cu phase in the matrix.More gratifying,the coating demonstrated perfect antibacterial properties(R>99.9%against S.aureus),owing primarily to direct contact sterilization of Cu_(2)O/CuO.The most encouraging phenomenon was that the coating dramatically accelerated HUVEC adhesion(1.4 times),proliferation(RGR:106%-116%),and particularly migration(RMR:158%-247%)compared with the control Ti.The coating extract also signifi-cantly stimulated in vitro angiogenesis capacity.The rapid endothelialization for Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating was attributed to the surface nanostructure and Cu^(2+)/NO_(2)−release,which upregulated the angiogenesis-related gene expression of HIF-1α,VEGF,and eNOS to increase VEGF secretion and NO production.All of the findings indicated that the Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating could enhance the corrosion resistance,an-tibacterial properties,and endothelialization potential of Ti-Cu alloy,displaying great clinical potential in cardiovascular applications.展开更多
The property theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has been practiced for thousands of years,playing a pivotal role in the clinical application of TCM. While advancements in energy metabolism,chemical compositio...The property theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has been practiced for thousands of years,playing a pivotal role in the clinical application of TCM. While advancements in energy metabolism,chemical composition analysis, machine learning, ion current modeling, and supercritical fluid technology have provided valuable insight into how aspects of TCM property theory may be measured, these studies only capture specific aspects of TCM property theory in isolation, overlooking the holistic perspective inherent in TCM. To systematically investigate the modern interpretation of the TCM property theory from multidimensional perspectives, we consulted the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 edition) to compile a list of Chinese materia medica(CMM). Then, using the Latin names of each CMM and gut microbiota as keywords, we searched the PubMed database for relevant research on gut microbiota and CMM. The regulatory patterns of different herbs on gut microbiota were then summarized from the perspectives of the four natures, the five flavors and the meridian tropism. In terms of the four natures, we found that warm-natured medicines promoted the colonization of specific beneficial bacteria,while cold-natured medicines boosted populations of some beneficial bacteria while suppressing pathogenic bacteria. Analysis of the five flavors revealed that sweet-flavored and bitter-flavored CMMs positively influenced beneficial bacteria while inhibiting harmful bacteria. CMMs with different meridian tropism exhibited complex modulative patterns on gut microbiota, with Jueyin(Liver) and Taiyin(Lung) meridian CMMs generally exerting a stronger effect. The gut microbiota may be a biological indicator for characterizing the TCM property theory, which not only enhances our understanding of classic TCM theory but also contributes to its scientific advancement and application in healthcare.展开更多

Squeezing properties, chemical compositions, thermal stability and flavor profile of pressed HSO were det...A comparison study has been performed in hempseed oils (HSO) extracted from different cultivars in Bama region. Squeezing properties, chemical compositions, thermal stability and flavor profile of pressed HSO were determined in this study. Results indicated that there were no significant differences in crude fat, protein, fiber of different hempseeds and fatty acid composition in HSOs. Hempseeds with small size and dark-colored peel have lower squeezing oil yield than big ones. Average content of total phytosterol, tocopherol and phenol in HSO from small seeds were 872.0 mg/100 g, 124.1 mg/100 g and 15.5 mg SA/100 g respectively. Thermal oxidation by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) revealed three step oxidation of HSO with mean onset and oxidation temperature at 124oC and 135-315oC. Oxidation temperature of HSO from small seeds was higher than that from big seeds (big size and light-colored peel). Main volatile ingredients in HSO contained 11 kinds of monoterpene and 7 kinds of sesquiterpene. Volatile terpene content in HSO from small seeds was nearly 30% higher than that of big seeds. Quality of HSO with different peel feature has significant difference in squeezing yield, thermal stability and volatile flavors. This work may be useful to produce high quality hempseed oils through quality evaluation.展开更多

Objective:This paper discusses the composition of prescription qualitative,quantitative design principles and methods based on herbal property combination,describing the method application in new prescription design.M...Objective:This paper discusses the composition of prescription qualitative,quantitative design principles and methods based on herbal property combination,describing the method application in new prescription design.Method:Qualitative property-combination pattern(PP)calculation was based on bipartite graphing and performing a greedy algorithm which was designed to optimize obtaining a new herbal prescription.Quantitative PP calculation was based on the qualitative computation.To calculate the Euclidean distance for the PP of the new prescription,an optimized algorithm for solving the unknown minimum Euclidean distance was used with,the new weighted proportions.Finally,non-linear optimization software was used to find the minimum Euclidean distance.Results:Using the PP of classic prescription Large Yin-Nourishing Pill,applying quantitative PP calculation a new prescription was created.Mathematical algorithms based on property combinations of traditional Chinese herbs can be applied to identify compatibility and synergies of herbs within prescriptions,especially classic formulas.Conclusion:In silico methods can then be used to create new prescriptions or modify existing ones depending on need.This type of automated approach may increase efficiency in designing new drugs based on Chinese herbs.展开更多

文摘The effects of Li2O-MgO-B2O3 (LMB) glass additive on the sintering characteristics, phase purity, microstructure, and microwave dielectric properties of Li2MgTi3O8 ceramics were investigated. The experimental results demonstrate that the addition of LMB glass effectively lowers the sintering temperature of Li2MgTi3O8 ceramic from 1025 ℃ to 875 ℃ and induces no obvious degradation of the microwave dielectric properties. Typically, the 1.5%LMB glass-added Li2MgTi3O8 ceramic sintered at 875 ℃ for 4 h shows excellent microwave dielectric properties of Q×f=45403 GHz, εr=25.9 and τf≈0 ℃-1. The dielectric ceramic exhibits stability against the reaction with the Ag electrode, which indicates that the ceramics could be applied in multilayer microwave devices requiring low firing temperatures.

文摘Bio-inspired porous metallic scaffolds have tremendous potential to be used as artificial bone substitutes.In this work,a radially graded lattice structure (RGLS),which mimics the structures of natural human bones,was designed and processed by laser powder bed fusion of martensitic Ti-rich TiNi powder.The asymmetric tension-compression behaviour,where the compressive strength is significantly higher than the tensile strength,is observed in this Ti-rich TiNi material,which echoes the mechanical behaviour of bones.The morphologies,mechanical properties,deformation behaviour,and biological compatibility of RGLS samples were characterised and compared with those in the uniform lattice structure.Both the uniform and RGLS samples achieve a relative density higher than 99%.The graded porosities and pore sizes in the RGLS range from 40%-80% and 330-805 µm,respectively,from the centre to the edge.The chemical etching has significantly removed the harmful partially-melted residual powder particles on the lattice struts.The compressive yield strength of RGLS is 71.5 MPa,much higher than that of the uniform sample (46.5 MPa),despite having a similar relative density of about 46%.The calculated Gibson-Ashby equation and the deformation behaviour simulation by finite element suggest that the dense outer regions with high load-bearing capability could sustain high applied stress,improving the overall strength of RGLS significantly.The cell proliferation study suggests better biological compatibility of the RGLS than the uniform structures.The findings highlight a novel strategy to improve the performance of additively manufactured artificial implants by bio-inspiration.

文摘The blend films with gelatin and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were prepared by a solution casting method. The compatibility between gelatin and PVA in the blend films was investigated. The transmittance, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), x-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry analysis (TG), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were employed to characterize the resultant blend films. According to optic result, the opacity of the blend film at the ratio of 20/80 (w/w, Gel to PVA) was the lowest, indicating the best compatibility between Gel and PVA at the ratio. The results oflR, XRD, DSC, and TG revealed an intensive interaction and good compatibility between them in the blend film at the ratio. The mechanical properties and solubility showed that PVA content in the blend films obviously affected the elongation at break and solubility. The mechanical properties and water resistance of gelatin film may be improved by the introduetion of PVA.
文摘A series of Polyurethane (PU)/bisphenol A based Epoxy Resin(EP) Interpenetrating Polymer Networks(IPN) were synthesized and characterized by SEM, DSC, TGA and DMTA. It was found that IPN shows the best compatibility and damping properties when the ratio of PU/EP is 80 to 20. The results show that chain-extender and higher molecular weight of PPG are able to improve the properties of compatibility, damping and thermal properties.

文摘This paper reported the research results concerning the surface characterization ofpolystyrene-graft-w-stearyl poly(ethylene oxide) (PS-g-SPEO) by means of XPS,contactangle measurement and TEM, and its in vitro blood compatibility assessment by measuringthe plasma recalcification time (RT) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT). The XPSresults demonstrated that the surface and bulk composition of the PS-g-SPEO graftcopolymers differ remarkably from each other,and that SPEO component was constantlyenriched at the copolymer/air interface. Contact angle studies indicated that the surfacewater wettability can be adjusted effectively by changing the composition of the copolymer.PS-g-SPEO graft copolymers can undergo microphase separation as clearly illustrated byTEM photographs. The relationship between the surface properties of PS-g-SPEO graftcopolymer and its blood compatibility was also discussed.
文摘The paper describes some properties of new quaternized polysulfones obtained by quaternization of chloromethylated polysulfone with different tertiary amines - N,N-dimethylethylamine and N,N-dimethyloctylamine. Hydrophilic/hydrophobic properties, morphological aspects and compatibility with red blood cells and platelets are affected by the alkyl radicals and by history of the formed films. The results obtained are useful in biomedical applications, including evaluation of bacterial adhesion to the surfaces, or utilization of modified polysulfones as semipermeable membranes.
文摘the composites of grafting polystyrene polyvinyl acetate (PVA) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) coated with soybean lecithin, are obtained. Results of grafting experiments show that the grafting ratio on the surface of the fibers is low when the grafting polymer chain is not cross linked. Under scanning electron microscope (SEM), it is discovered that there is no different morphology between the raw fibers and their being coated with soybean lecithin. The composites exhibit a good stability of soybean lecithin layer, and better anti coagulant property than the sulfonated grafting fibers or raw fibers.

文摘Antibacterial Ti-5Cu alloy is a promising substitute material for Ti-made cardiovascular implants,so its surface engineering is crucial to expediting clinical implementation.Given the antibacterial and cardiovas-cular biological benefits of Cu^(2+)and titanium-nitride-oxide(TiN x O y)coatings,a Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating with upregulated Cu^(2+)release was successfully deposited on Ti-5Cu alloy for the first time using oxygen and nitrogen plasma-based surface modification.The superhydrophilic and nanostructured Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating had a dense structure and was well bonded to the substrate,resulting in enhanced cor-rosion resistance,while CuO/Cu_(2)O in the coating released Cu^(2+)faster than Ti_(2)Cu phase in the matrix.More gratifying,the coating demonstrated perfect antibacterial properties(R>99.9%against S.aureus),owing primarily to direct contact sterilization of Cu_(2)O/CuO.The most encouraging phenomenon was that the coating dramatically accelerated HUVEC adhesion(1.4 times),proliferation(RGR:106%-116%),and particularly migration(RMR:158%-247%)compared with the control Ti.The coating extract also signifi-cantly stimulated in vitro angiogenesis capacity.The rapid endothelialization for Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating was attributed to the surface nanostructure and Cu^(2+)/NO_(2)−release,which upregulated the angiogenesis-related gene expression of HIF-1α,VEGF,and eNOS to increase VEGF secretion and NO production.All of the findings indicated that the Cu_(2)O/CuO-TiN x O y coating could enhance the corrosion resistance,an-tibacterial properties,and endothelialization potential of Ti-Cu alloy,displaying great clinical potential in cardiovascular applications.

文摘The property theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has been practiced for thousands of years,playing a pivotal role in the clinical application of TCM. While advancements in energy metabolism,chemical composition analysis, machine learning, ion current modeling, and supercritical fluid technology have provided valuable insight into how aspects of TCM property theory may be measured, these studies only capture specific aspects of TCM property theory in isolation, overlooking the holistic perspective inherent in TCM. To systematically investigate the modern interpretation of the TCM property theory from multidimensional perspectives, we consulted the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 edition) to compile a list of Chinese materia medica(CMM). Then, using the Latin names of each CMM and gut microbiota as keywords, we searched the PubMed database for relevant research on gut microbiota and CMM. The regulatory patterns of different herbs on gut microbiota were then summarized from the perspectives of the four natures, the five flavors and the meridian tropism. In terms of the four natures, we found that warm-natured medicines promoted the colonization of specific beneficial bacteria,while cold-natured medicines boosted populations of some beneficial bacteria while suppressing pathogenic bacteria. Analysis of the five flavors revealed that sweet-flavored and bitter-flavored CMMs positively influenced beneficial bacteria while inhibiting harmful bacteria. CMMs with different meridian tropism exhibited complex modulative patterns on gut microbiota, with Jueyin(Liver) and Taiyin(Lung) meridian CMMs generally exerting a stronger effect. The gut microbiota may be a biological indicator for characterizing the TCM property theory, which not only enhances our understanding of classic TCM theory but also contributes to its scientific advancement and application in healthcare.

文摘In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric space using the joint common limit in the range property of mappings called (JCLR) property. An example is also furnished which demonstrates the validity of main result. We also extend our main result to two finite families of self mappings. Our results improve and generalize results of Cho et al. [Y. J. Cho, S. Sedghi and N. Shobe, “Generalized fixed point theorems for compatible mappings with some types in fuzzy metric spaces,” Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, Vol. 39, No. 5, 2009, pp. 2233-2244.] and several known results existing in the literature.
文摘A comparison study has been performed in hempseed oils (HSO) extracted from different cultivars in Bama region. Squeezing properties, chemical compositions, thermal stability and flavor profile of pressed HSO were determined in this study. Results indicated that there were no significant differences in crude fat, protein, fiber of different hempseeds and fatty acid composition in HSOs. Hempseeds with small size and dark-colored peel have lower squeezing oil yield than big ones. Average content of total phytosterol, tocopherol and phenol in HSO from small seeds were 872.0 mg/100 g, 124.1 mg/100 g and 15.5 mg SA/100 g respectively. Thermal oxidation by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) revealed three step oxidation of HSO with mean onset and oxidation temperature at 124oC and 135-315oC. Oxidation temperature of HSO from small seeds was higher than that from big seeds (big size and light-colored peel). Main volatile ingredients in HSO contained 11 kinds of monoterpene and 7 kinds of sesquiterpene. Volatile terpene content in HSO from small seeds was nearly 30% higher than that of big seeds. Quality of HSO with different peel feature has significant difference in squeezing yield, thermal stability and volatile flavors. This work may be useful to produce high quality hempseed oils through quality evaluation.
文摘The blend fibers of acrylonitrile-vinylidene chloride-sodium methallysulfonate copolymer(AN-VDC-SMAS) and cellulose acetate (CA) with various blend ratios were investigated bymeans of SEM, DDV, WAXD, etc. The results show that AN-VDC-SMAS and CA areincompatibale; the numerous microvoids in the blend fiber resulted from the phase seperationcan remarkably improve the water absorbability and the dyeing behavior but hardly influencethe mechanical properties. On the other hand, the crystal structure of the continuous phaseAN-VDC-SMAS is not influnced by the dispersed phase CA.

文摘Fuzzy Petri net(FPN) has been extensively applied in industrial fields for knowledge-based systems or systems with uncertainty.Although the applications of FPN are known to be successful,the theoretical research of FPN is still at an initial stage.To pave a way for further study,this work explores related dynamic properties of FPN including reachability,boundedness,safeness,liveness and fairness.The whole methodology is divided into two phases.In the first phase,a comparison between elementary net system(EN_system) and FPN is established to prove that the FPN is an extensive formalism of Petri nets using a backwards-compatible extension method.Next,current research results of dynamic properties are utilized to analyze FPN model.The results illustrate that FPN model is bounded,safe,weak live and fair,and can support theoretical evidences for designing related decomposition algorithm.

文摘Objective:This paper discusses the composition of prescription qualitative,quantitative design principles and methods based on herbal property combination,describing the method application in new prescription design.Method:Qualitative property-combination pattern(PP)calculation was based on bipartite graphing and performing a greedy algorithm which was designed to optimize obtaining a new herbal prescription.Quantitative PP calculation was based on the qualitative computation.To calculate the Euclidean distance for the PP of the new prescription,an optimized algorithm for solving the unknown minimum Euclidean distance was used with,the new weighted proportions.Finally,non-linear optimization software was used to find the minimum Euclidean distance.Results:Using the PP of classic prescription Large Yin-Nourishing Pill,applying quantitative PP calculation a new prescription was created.Mathematical algorithms based on property combinations of traditional Chinese herbs can be applied to identify compatibility and synergies of herbs within prescriptions,especially classic formulas.Conclusion:In silico methods can then be used to create new prescriptions or modify existing ones depending on need.This type of automated approach may increase efficiency in designing new drugs based on Chinese herbs.
