Chinese expert consensus on the clinical application of drugcoated balloon(2^(nd) Edition)

Percutaneous coronary interventions have progressed through the era of plain balloon dilation, bare-metal stent insertion to drug-eluting stent treatment, which has significantly reduced the acute occlusion and restenosis rates of target vessels and improved patient prognosis, making drug-eluting stents the mainstream interventional treatment for coronary artery disease. In recent years, drug-coated balloons(DCBs) have become a new treatment strategy for coronary artery disease, and the drugs used in the coating and the coating technology have progressed in the past years. Without permanent implant, a DCB delivers antiproliferative drugs rapidly and uniformly into the vessel wall via the excipient during a single balloon dilation. Many evidence suggests that DCB angioplasty is an effective measure for dealing with in-stent restenosis and de novo lesions in small coronary vessels.As more clinical studies are published, new evidence is emerging for the use of DCB angioplasty in a wide range of coronary diseases, and the indications are expanding internationally. Based on the latest research from China and elsewhere, the Expert Writing Committee of the Chinese Expert Consensus on Clinical Applications of Drug-Coated Balloon has updated the previous DCB consensus after evidence-based discussions and meetings in terms of adequate preparation of in-stent restenosis lesions, expansion of the indications for coronary de novo lesions, and precise guidance of DCB treatment by intravascular imaging and functional evaluation.

Optimized CUDA Implementation to Improve the Performance of Bundle Adjustment Algorithm on GPUs

The 3D reconstruction pipeline uses the Bundle Adjustment algorithm to refine the camera and point parameters. The Bundle Adjustment algorithm is a compute-intensive algorithm, and many researchers have improved its performance by implementing the algorithm on GPUs. In the previous research work, “Improving Accuracy and Computational Burden of Bundle Adjustment Algorithm using GPUs,” the authors demonstrated first the Bundle Adjustment algorithmic performance improvement by reducing the mean square error using an additional radial distorting parameter and explicitly computed analytical derivatives and reducing the computational burden of the Bundle Adjustment algorithm using GPUs. The naïve implementation of the CUDA code, a speedup of 10× for the largest dataset of 13,678 cameras, 4,455,747 points, and 28,975,571 projections was achieved. In this paper, we present the optimization of the Bundle Adjustment algorithm CUDA code on GPUs to achieve higher speedup. We propose a new data memory layout for the parameters in the Bundle Adjustment algorithm, resulting in contiguous memory access. We demonstrate that it improves the memory throughput on the GPUs, thereby improving the overall performance. We also demonstrate an increase in the computational throughput of the algorithm by optimizing the CUDA kernels to utilize the GPU resources effectively. A comparative performance study of explicitly computing an algorithm parameter versus using the Jacobians instead is presented. In the previous work, the Bundle Adjustment algorithm failed to converge for certain datasets due to several block matrices of the cameras in the augmented normal equation, resulting in rank-deficient matrices. In this work, we identify the cameras that cause rank-deficient matrices and preprocess the datasets to ensure the convergence of the BA algorithm. Our optimized CUDA implementation achieves convergence of the Bundle Adjustment algorithm in around 22 seconds for the largest dataset compared to 654 seconds for the sequential implementation, resulting in a speedup of 30×. Our optimized CUDA implementation presented in this paper has achieved a 3× speedup for the largest dataset compared to the previous naïve CUDA implementation.

Study on Recognition Method of Similar Weather Scenes in Terminal Area

Weather is a key factor affecting the control of air traffic.Accurate recognition and classification of similar weather scenes in the terminal area is helpful for rapid decision-making in air trafficflow management.Current researches mostly use traditional machine learning methods to extract features of weather scenes,and clustering algorithms to divide similar scenes.Inspired by the excellent performance of deep learning in image recognition,this paper proposes a terminal area similar weather scene classification method based on improved deep convolution embedded clustering(IDCEC),which uses the com-bination of the encoding layer and the decoding layer to reduce the dimensionality of the weather image,retaining useful information to the greatest extent,and then uses the combination of the pre-trained encoding layer and the clustering layer to train the clustering model of the similar scenes in the terminal area.Finally,term-inal area of Guangzhou Airport is selected as the research object,the method pro-posed in this article is used to classify historical weather data in similar scenes,and the performance is compared with other state-of-the-art methods.The experi-mental results show that the proposed IDCEC method can identify similar scenes more accurately based on the spatial distribution characteristics and severity of weather;at the same time,compared with the actualflight volume in the Guangz-hou terminal area,IDCEC's recognition results of similar weather scenes are con-sistent with the recognition of experts in thefield.

Effects of SBWP Jump-Dealing on China's Book Market from the Perspectives of Competition and Antimonopoly

With the rise of the Internet and E-commence,it has become common for consumers in the book,clothing,electronic appliances,furniture and cosmetic industries to engage in a phenomenon termed "store-browsing-web-purchasing"(SBWP).These are customers who tend to acquire service and information about particular products at traditional(brick and motor) retail stores but purchase them online at a lower price.This creates new issues and new perspectives to the science of law and economics.This paper addresses the issue of SBWP based on the industrial organization theory(especially the vertical dual-pricing system).It then endeavors to demonstrate the three "jump-dealing " theorems of SBWP from analyzing the business models,consumer purchasing patterns and price differences in distributing channels.Furthermore,we extrapolate the theory of jump-dealing and resale price maintenance(RPM) offsetting based on previous findings.The main conclusions are the following:if a company's RPM strategies substantially eliminate competition,then jump-dealing behavior from consumers should be encouraged.Conversely,if this jump-dealing behavior from consumers brings about anti-competition and free riding problems,then a company's RPM strategies should be exempted.

Application of 3D Digital Modeling Technology in the Construction of Digital Cities

The concepts of “digital twins”, “3D real scene”, “metacosm” and others were the technical paths for building digital cities with the development of emerging surveying and mapping science and technology, which was to build a digital and virtualized city that matched the real physical world, to achieve a one-to-one correspondence between all elements of the physical world and the digital virtual world. And one of its basic geographic information data was a highly similar, virtual simulation of the 3D real scene. After exploring the traditional manual 3DsMax modeling, UAV low-altitude digital oblique photogrammetry modeling, airborne laser scanning modeling and other single modeling technologies, this paper discussed the 3D digital modeling technology used by the UAV airborne laser scanning point cloud and low-altitude digital oblique photogrammetry for complementary integration, constructing the 3D scene of the digital city. This paper expounded the technical route and production process of 3D digital modeling, in order to provide technical references for related projects.

Towards complex scenes: A deep learning-based camouflaged people detection method for snapshot multispectral images

Camouflaged people are extremely expert in actively concealing themselves by effectively utilizing cover and the surrounding environment. Despite advancements in optical detection capabilities through imaging systems, including spectral, polarization, and infrared technologies, there is still a lack of effective real-time method for accurately detecting small-size and high-efficient camouflaged people in complex real-world scenes. Here, this study proposes a snapshot multispectral image-based camouflaged detection model, multispectral YOLO(MS-YOLO), which utilizes the SPD-Conv and Sim AM modules to effectively represent targets and suppress background interference by exploiting the spatial-spectral target information. Besides, the study constructs the first real-shot multispectral camouflaged people dataset(MSCPD), which encompasses diverse scenes, target scales, and attitudes. To minimize information redundancy, MS-YOLO selects an optimal subset of 12 bands with strong feature representation and minimal inter-band correlation as input. Through experiments on the MSCPD, MS-YOLO achieves a mean Average Precision of 94.31% and real-time detection at 65 frames per second, which confirms the effectiveness and efficiency of our method in detecting camouflaged people in various typical desert and forest scenes. Our approach offers valuable support to improve the perception capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles in detecting enemy forces and rescuing personnel in battlefield.

Characteristics of Male Family Caregivers in Japan and Their Sense of Care Burden, Capacity to Deal with Stress, and Subjective Sense of Well-Being

This study aimed to clarify the characteristics of Japanese male family caregivers in terms of their sense of care burden, their capacity to deal with stress, and their subjective sense of well-being. A survey consisting of questionnaires and interviews was conducted from March to May 2014 in the subjects’ homes. Subjects were 27 Japanese males (the age range: 54 - 85) who provided home care for their family member. Caregivers who were good at relieving stress or who had a subjective sense of well-being were found to have a low care burden. The types and seriousness of diseases of the care recipients were not related to the caregivers’ sense of burden, capacity to deal with stress, or subjective sense of well-being. Based on the interview results, caregivers were found to have the following characteristics: they were particular about methods of care;they learned how to provide home care by themselves;they used their social intelligence in home care;they always provided home care while keeping the future in mind;and most notably, they considered home care to be their primary occupation. On the whole, male caregivers were found to alleviate the burdens of home care by making use of the nursing-care service systems that enabled them to relieve stress and enjoy their leisure time. Caregivers considered home care to be their occupation and used their past social experiences. The workforce helped them deal with the care recipients’ health conditions or day-to-day changes so that they could overcome the care burden.

Automatic control technology is the basis of road robot improvement,according to the characteristics of construction equipment and functions,the research will be input type perception from positioning acquisition,real-world monitoring,the process will use RTK-GNSS positional perception technology,by projecting the left side of the earth from Gauss-Krueger projection method,and then carry out the Cartesian conversion based on the characteristics of drawing;steering control system is the core of the electric drive unmanned module,on the basis of the analysis of the composition of the steering system of unmanned engineering vehicles,the steering system key components such as direction,torque sensor,drive motor and other models are established,the joint simulation model of unmanned engineering vehicles is established,the steering controller is designed using the PID method,the simulation results show that the control method can meet the construction path demand for automatic steering.The path planning will first formulate the construction area with preset values and realize the steering angle correction during driving by PID algorithm,and never realize the construction-based path planning,and the results show that the method can control the straight path within the error of 10 cm and the curve error within 20 cm.With the collaboration of various modules,the automatic construction simulation results of this robot show that the design path and control method is effective.
