The Construction of Linux System and Network Programming Course to Develop Engineering Ability

To meet society’s needs for undergraduate students to have engineering skills and to develop students’ability to operate Linux and engage in network software development,this paper proposes the construction of a new specialized course for network engineering major--Linux system and network programming.This paper analyzes the course’s advantages,presents the contents of this course,designs a series of teaching methods aimed at improving students’engineering ability,proposes a course assessment method that will encourage students to practice,lists the development requirements for an examination software designed for this course,and finally,presents the results of our practice in teaching this course.

Challenges and Teaching Reform Strategies in Vocational College Engineering Training Courses

With the rapid development of vocational education,engineering training has become a crucial course for cultivating highly skilled technical professionals,highlighting its importance.However,vocational college engineering training courses still face numerous challenges during the actual teaching process,which affect the effectiveness of course teaching and the enhancement of students’engineering competence.This article thoroughly analyzes the main problems existing in current engineering training course teaching,focusing on four aspects:students’cognitive differences,inadequate course development,poor course adaptability,and limited teaching resources.Based on this analysis and previous research findings,targeted strategies are proposed,including enhancing students’course cognition,clarifying course positioning,improving course adaptability,and optimizing the allocation of teaching resources.Furthermore,this article preliminarily verifies the effectiveness of some reform strategies through a small-scale teaching experiment.This study aims to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for enhancing the teaching quality of vocational college engineering training courses.

Construction and Implementation of OBE-based Practical Course for Software System Development with Solid Foundation and Continuous Improvement

Software engineering is a highly practical major,and students need a lot of hands-on practice to transform the theoretical contents learned in class into the practical ability to solve practical problems,so practical courses are an essential and important part in the process of training talents in software engineering.From the point of view of cultivating talents in software engineering,this paper expounds the important position of practical courses in software engineering in the process of cultivating talents,analyzes the problems in the existing practical courses,and puts forward the construction ideas and characteristics of practical courses in software engineering which strengthen the foundation,advance steadily,and face the output.Taking the practical course for software system development as an example,this paper introduces in detail the concrete implementation process,achievements,existing problems and countermeasures of the course.

Interpreting Synergism Based Upon Visual-Audio-Oral Course of EAP： A Case of CI Between English and Chinese

On the basis of the theory of relevance and transfer, this study puts forward interpreting operation synergism through positive transfer from Visual-Audio-Oral Course of EAP to E-C and C-E interpreting. In the way of consecutive interpreting, the researcher has done the experiments to 147 undergraduate interpreters of non-English majors in five classes taught by him in the second semester from 2014 to 2015. The experimental results show that listening of EAP has the functions of relevance and holistic presupposition to student interpreters, whose audio nerves have been activated once more while listening to SL （source language） information. At this moment, the function of transferring SL information as input occurs. And further, speaking of EAP also has the functions of relevance and holistic presupposition to student interpreters, whose oral nerves have been activated once more while encoding and expressing in TL （target language）. At this moment the results of transferring information as TL output are prominent. Therefore, Visual-Audio-Oral Course of EAP has the effect of relevance, transfer and presupposition to student interpreters＇ interpreting operation in China.

Regulation of Drug Clinical Trials in China: Course and Development Trend

Objective To provide a basis for future regulation reform of drug clinical trials in China in the context of the continuous deepening of drug regulation reform. Methods Literature review and regulation study were conducted to analyze the course and development trend of drug clinical trial regulation in China. Results and Conclusion It is found that the regulation system and the standardization for clinical trials in China are gradually improving, but there is still a gap compared with developed countries. In the future, the regulation authorities still need to further improve relevant regulations, clarify regulation responsibilities, and to improve the drug clinical trial review system to ensure the quality of clinical trials and the safety and effectiveness of listed drugs.

Discussion on the Teaching Development of Thai Courses in Universities

In recent years,with the expansion and extension of China’s free trade platform,construction has gradually developed toward Southeast Asia and South Asia,thus resulting in the phenomena whereby Thai language courses have become more common and more universities have begun to cultivate Thai language majors.In this process,improving the effectiveness of Thai courses has become the key;therefore,schools and Thai language teachers should pay attention to this.In order to achieve the language teaching goal put forward by the Ministry of Education,it is necessary to accelerate the development of Thai courses in universities and explore a new development path for them,so that the teaching quality of Thai courses can be guaranteed.Based on this,this paper mainly discusses the development history of the curriculum of Thai language courses in universities.

Impact of a national basic skills in colonoscopy course on trainee performance: An interrupted time series analysis

BACKGROUND The Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy basic skills in colonoscopy(BSC) course was introduced in 2009 to improve colonoscopy training within the United Kingdom, but its impact on trainee performance is unknown.AIM To assess whether attendance of the BSC could improve colonoscopy performance.METHODS Trainees awarded colonoscopy certification between 2011-2016 were stratified into 3 groups according to pre-course procedure count(< 70, 70-140 and > 140).Study outcomes, comprising the unassisted caecal intubation rate(CIR) and the performance indicator of colonic intubation(PICI), were studied over the 50 procedures pre and post-course. Interrupted time series analyses were performed to detect step-change changes attributable to the course.RESULTS A total of 369 trainees with pre-course procedure counts of < 70(n = 118), 70-140(n = 121) and > 140(n = 130) were included. Over the 50 pre-course procedures,significant linear improvements in CIR were found, with average increases of 4.2,3.6 and 1.7 percentage points(pp) per 10 procedures performed in the < 70, 70-140 and > 140 groups respectively(all P < 0.001). The < 70 procedures group saw a significant step-change improvement in CIR, increasing from 46% in the last pre-course procedure, to 51% in the first procedure post-course(P = 0.005). The CIR step-change was not significant in the 70-140(68% to 71%;P = 0.239) or > 140(86% to 87%;P = 0.354) groups. For PICI, significant step-change improvements were seen in all three groups, with average increases of 5.6 pp(P < 0.001), 5.4 pp(P = 0.003) and 3.9 pp(P = 0.014) respectively.CONCLUSION Attendance of the BSC was associated with a significant step-change improvement in PICI, regardless of prior procedural experience. However, CIR data suggest that the optimal timing of course attendance appears to be at earlier stages of training(< 70 procedures).

Auditory neuropathy-a rare condition where CI provides improved hearing and speech development

Auditory neuropathy (AN) was reported 30 years ago in 1979 when Davis and Hirsh presented the first case with normal or near normal hearing threshold but absent auditory brainstem responses.Many names have been given since then including paradoxical hearing loss,brainstem auditory processing syndrome,central auditory dysfunction,neural synchrony disorder or neural dyssynchrony.The term auditory neuropathy was first given by Sininger and colleagues in 1995.More and more AN articles have been published in recent years.The present short review and case report focus on the most important characteristics from a clinical point of view in order to let young physicians know AN,and consequently make correct diagnosis.

The Origin of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Thinking on Chinese Medicine Development

Although the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has developed a profound theory system and a fame of outstanding advantage in curative effect, it seems that the TCM is not quite adaptable to the deveiopment and requirement of the modern society.A principle of “Adopting the advanced part of Western medicine to serve the TCM" should be adhered to for the traditional Chinese medicine. First, TCM should strive for a consensus of TCM theory which focuses on the guiding principles of “diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of the illness and the patient’s condition"and “the opposite principle of five internal organs".Among these principles, “keeping relative balance of three internal systems"is a valuable guidance of the diagnosis and treatment theory. Secondly, macroscopic should be integrated with microscopic, totality with parts,phenomenology with materialism.A dialectical law should be applied to guide analysis. In treatment, adjustment and balance are basic principles.It is necessary not only prepare the medicine in advance accoding to the predicted disease of the year,but also adopt methods to restrict disease in advance.Basides, TCM dose type should be ameliorated in order to meet the needs of society.

基于CiteSpace的近30年我国中小学生态文明教育研究回溯与展望

中小学开展生态文明教育是当前我国社会主义生态文明建设的重要一环,借助CiteSpace可视化分析软件对近30年我国中小学生态文明教育的研究文献从年发文量、研究作者、研究机构、高频关键词、研究主题、热点变化等方面进行梳理分析后发现:中小学生态文明教育研究文献的数量变化与各时期的生态文明教育政策密切相关;师范类院校的学科教学类专业是研究主力,作者与机构间的合作意识缺乏,研究成果共享交流弱;形成的研究主题有课程与教材、理论基础与教育内容、教育主体、实施与发展;研究先后经历了环境与可持续发展教育、生态教育、生态文明教育的发展阶段。最后对未来我国中小学生态文明教育的研究趋势进行了初步探讨。
