Five years ago, the Editorial Board of the Journal was reorganized and moved to the Dalian Institute of Chemistry Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Journal has concentrated on the reporting of fundamental research and development information in the field of natural gas chemistry and related areas, and has made great contributions to the advancement of natural gas research and related areas in the world.展开更多

The former name of the journal was the Journal of International Geoscientific Research in Northeast Asia which was started in 1998 and served the scientists and teachers in Geoscience in the world, but mainly for the scientists from the six countries of the NE Asia including China, DPR Korea, Japan, Korea, Mongolia and Russia. We will start to use the new name Global Geology (English Edition) in 2006 in order to widen the published geoscientific topic areas, increase the diversity of the authors, and promote international scientific exchange. The journal, Global Geology (English Edition), in Geoscience research and teaching, was officially approved by the State Bureau of Publication, China.展开更多
