Research on the Integration Path of Taihang Spirit and Music Education Major in Colleges and Universities

A key strategy for raising students’humanistic aptitude is through music education.Culture is the soul of music and the source of innovation in music education.Under the current social education concept,it is advocated to carry forward excellent traditional and red culture in teaching,hence this paper further explores the path of integrating red culture into music education.The incorporation of the Taihang spirit,the most representative cultural resource in Shanxi,into music education in colleges and universities will promote the concept of Lide Shuren,further enhance students’training,and enable students to fulfill the dual education requirements.

Prevalence of asthenopia and its risk factors in Chinese college students

·AIM: To determine the prevalence of asthenopia and identify any associated risk factors in the college students in Xi’an, China. · METHODS: From April to September 2012, 1 500 students from five universities in Xi’an were selected according to a multi -stage stratified cluster sampling method. Data on demographic features, lifestyle or dietary habits, health status, living environment conditions, sleep and mental status, and asthenopia symptoms were collected through a self -administered validated questionnaire. Univariate logistic regression and multivariate logistic regression analysis modified by the factor analysis were performed to evaluate risk factors for asthenopia. ·RESULTS: Fifty-seven percent of the college students complained of asthenopia. Statistically significant risk factors for asthenopia in the univariate analysis included 13 variables. Multivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between the use of computer and asthenopia (OR 1.21, 95% CI: 1.09 to 1.35). Good sleep and mental status (OR 0.86, 95% CI: 0.76 to 0.97), good living environment conditions (OR 0.67, 95% CI: 0.60 to 0.76), and high intake of green leafy vegetables (OR 0.89, 95% CI: 0.80 to 0.98) were found to be strong predictors of decreasing the occurrence of asthenopia complaints. ·CONCLUSION: Asthenopia symptom appeares to be common among college students; and it is strongly associated with computer use, psychosocial state, environment conditions and dietary habits, suggesting that additional studies are warranted to verify these risk factors and establish prevention guidelines, especially for college students. ·

Graffiti in College:Topic Analysis and Linguistic Features

This paper explores how the Chinese college students' life is represented in some graffiti collected in campus.The article analyzes and compares the topics of graffiti from different settings and the linguistic features they manifest.The findings show that fewer graffiti from female toilet and classroom in this university pay attention to political issues compared with the graffiti abroad.Graffiti in female toilet mainly focus on the theme of love,and are found to be more interactive in discourse.Whereas graffiti on desks tend to cover mixed themes and be less interactive.There are more graphic graffiti and exam answers on the undergraduate students' desk than on the postgraduates'.Graffiti have some linguistic features as thematization,repetition and salience,etc.

当代大学生工匠精神认知现状与培育路径调查研究

工匠精神是我国从制造业大国走向制造业强国的支撑和关键,也是当代大学生不可或缺的精神品质。通过对河北省5所普通本科院校和8所高职专科院校1 028名学生工匠精神现状的调研分析发现,大学生对弘扬和培育工匠精神有较高认同感;大多数学校能够将工匠精神培育融入教育教学体系。但现阶段仍存在大学生群体对工匠精神的内涵认知不全面,高校工匠精神培养模式较为单一,普通本科院校学生对工匠精神的认知均值略低于高职专科院校学生,高职专科院校比普通本科院校更重视工匠精神的培育等问题。提升当代大学生工匠精神,应从“工匠精神认知提升”“工匠精神培育”“工匠精神与职业引导”“工匠精神从校园到企业的延伸”四个层面,发挥政府、社会、学校、企业、家庭和个人的协同作用,形成工匠精神的培育机制,完善工匠精神的培育体系。
