Based on the application of functional linguistics in junior middle school English teaching,this paper first illustrates the concepts of systematic grammar and functional grammar.Secondly,according to the application of functional grammar in reading,in translation and in writing,it is concluded that applied linguistics has an important role in promoting junior middle school English teaching,which comprehensively illustrates the importance of functional linguistics in junior middle school English teaching.Functional linguistics is of great significance to instruct junior middle school teaching.This paper explores the definition of functional linguistics and the linguistic patterns of functional linguistics.

Bibliographical Review on Rehabilitation of Executive Functions in Patients With Developmental Coordination Disorder(DCD)

The present study aims to establish a literature review on intervention programs for executive functions(EFs)through the use of fundamental motor skills,from a neuropsychopedagogical perspective in subjects with Developmental Coordination Disorder(DCD).An exploratory study was carried out through an integrative literature review.The research was carried out in the Scientific databases Electronic Library Online(SciELO),Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences(LILACS),Virtual Health Library-Psychology Brazil(BVSPSI),Electronic Journals of Psychology(PePSIC),in the periodicals available in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations(BDTD)and on the website of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel(CAPES).The covering publications took place from 2018 to 2023,14 articles were selected for analysis.This literature review made it possible to create strategies for stimulating EF and Visuomotor Functions so that educators and other professionals can better deal with students with DCD.It was perceived the need to carry out and develop more empirical research regarding the intervention of EFs and Visuomotor Functions by educators and professionals,with a greater sampling amplitude,to increase the number of studies that enable interventions both in children and in teenagers with DCD.

Increase in Salivary Alpha-Amylase Levels among Non-Attending Junior High School Students Diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder

Purpose: Several studies have demonstrated that the measurement of salivary alpha-amylase (sAA) levels is a useful tool for evaluating the autonomic nervous system. Psychosocial stress increases the release of sAA as a useful marker for autonomic nervous system (ANS). To our knowledge, although some studies have evaluated sAA levels under psychosocial stress, no studies have investigated the changes in sAA activity that occur in junior high school students who are not attending school due to social anxiety disorder (SAD). We aimed to investigate the relationship between the sAA levels and psychiatric states of such patients. Methods: The study subjects consisted of SAD patients (n = 39) and healthy controls (n = 57). We used a portable hand-held monitor to measure the level of sAA and State-Trait Anxiety Index (STAI) to evaluate the psychiatric state. Results: The patients’ sAA activity was significantly higher than that of the controls (n = 57) (p < 0.001). Significant differences in heart rate (HR) (76.10 ± 11.96 vs. 68.69 ± 10.61, respectively, p < 0.01) and STAI scores (both the STAI-State and STAI-Trait scores) (49.35 ± 10.57 vs. 41.24 ± 8.59, respectively, p < 0.01;55.69 ± 10.44 vs. 45.61 ± 9.36, respectively, p < 0.001) were detected between the patients and healthy controls. Conclusions: These results indicated that junior high school students with SAD exhibit a higher state of anxiety and high autonomic activity, probably due to changes in the sympathetic nervous system. As a result, junior high school students with SAD are expected to exhibit high levels of sAA accompanied by anxiety symptoms.

Is forced oscillation technique the next respiratory function test of choice in childhood asthma

Respiratory diseases, especially asthma, are common in children. While spirometry contributes to asthma diagnosis and management in older children, it has a limited role in younger children whom are often unable to perform forced expiratory manoeuvre. The development of novel diagnostic methods which require minimal effort, such as forced oscillation technique(FOT) is, therefore, a welcome and promising addition. FOT involves applying external, small amplitude oscillations to the respiratory system during tidal breathing. Therefore, it requires minimal effort and cooperation. The FOT has the potential to facilitate asthma diagnosis and management in preschool children by faciliting the objective measurement of baseline lung function and airway reactivity in children unable to successfully perform spirometry. Traditionally the use of FOT was limited to specialised centres. However, the availability of commercial equipment resulted in its use both in research and in clinical practice. In this article, we review the available literature on the use of FOT in childhood asthma. The technical aspects of FOT are described followed by a discussion of its practical aspects in the clinical field including the measurement of baseline lung function and associated reference ranges, bronchodilator responsiveness and bronchial hyperresponsiveness. We also highlight the difficulties and limitations that might be encountered and future research directions.

功能锻炼衣在学龄前期上肢骨折患儿功能锻炼中的应用

目的:探讨功能锻炼衣在学龄前期上肢骨折患儿功能锻炼中的应用效果。方法:选取2022年1月—6月浙江省某三级甲等儿童医院骨科创伤中心收治的60例学龄前期上肢骨折患儿作为研究对象,按照住院号末位奇偶数随机分为试验组和对照组各30例。试验组在术后第1天穿带卡通图案可拆卸计数球体,显示屏可计数、带播报器的印有卡通人物形象的衣服(功能锻炼衣)进行功能锻炼,每天3次,每次100下,为期3个月。对照组穿普通衣物在相同时间进行传统握力球进行功能锻炼。比较两组术后2个月肘关节、尺桡关节的关节活动度、术后2周生活自理能力得分、上肢骨折相关并发症情况及家长满意度情况。结果:试验组患儿关节活动度、日常生活自理能力得分、家长满意度均高于对照组;上肢骨折后术后的肿胀程度低于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:带卡通计数球,球体可计数可拆卸的功能锻炼衣能提高学龄前期上肢骨折患儿关节活动度、日常生活自理能力、家长满意度,减轻学龄前期上肢骨折患儿术后上肢的肿胀程度。

罗切斯特社区中心与学校社会功能的拓展

20世纪初,罗切斯特社区中心开拓了一种新型的人际交往方式,使公立学校成为不同文化背景群体的交流阵地。罗切斯特社区中心是社区中心运动的先导,它充分利用现有学校建筑,推动了移民美国化进程。国内少有学者对该中心进行个案研究,美国学者虽有涉及该中心的研究,但很少有学者关注该中心在拓展学校社会功能,促使学校转型方面的贡献。本文在现有史料的基础上,以个案研究的形式,结合罗切斯特社区中心的发展过程,探究社区中心对公立学校发展产生的影响。研究认为,学校作为社区中心拓展了学校的社会功能,使得学校与社会的联系更加紧密,重塑了学校形象。

“双减”背景下家庭因素对小学高段学生睡眠质量的影响——基于对成渝地区408名小学生调查

为了解成渝地区小学高段学生睡眠质量,探索“双减”背景下家庭功能、感知父母冲突和情绪安全感对小学高段学生睡眠质量的影响,运用家庭功能问卷、父母冲突儿童知觉量表、情绪安全感问卷和匹兹堡睡眠质量指数量表等研究工具对成都市、重庆市两所学校共408名小学高段学生展开调查。调查发现,67.28%的成渝地区小学高段学生能在22时前入睡,82.20%的成渝地区小学高段学生能保障每日9小时以上睡眠,且睡眠障碍检出率显著低于“双减”前同年龄段多地结果;家庭功能、感知父母冲突、情绪安全感与小学高段学生睡眠质量显著相关,其中情绪安全感能显著负向预测学生睡眠质量,这说明“双减”后成渝地区小学高段学生睡眠质量有所提高,且家庭因素对小学高段学生睡眠质量影响显著。基于此,建议家庭成员间要有合理的角色分工与积极的情感支持,家长要帮助子女建立情绪安全感,并引导子女形成良好的睡眠习惯和健康的生活模式来保障子女拥有良好的睡眠质量。

数学课程资源是推动数学课堂教学改革的工具.随着现代信息技术的迅速发展,数字课程资源的开发、使用和研究正在受到数学教育研究者和一线教师越来越多的关注.以初中“二次函数的图象和性质”为例,通过课堂观察和文本分析探究数字课程资源提供的多元表征是否有助于学生理解二次函数图象和性质,进而初步探索数字课程资源对学生学习的影响.结果发现:数字课程资源不仅有助于提供二次函数的多元表征,还帮助学生建立不同多元表征之间的联系,促进了学生理解二次函数的图象和性质.研究启示:数字课程资源提供的自主式操作能增强学生与教材的互动;数字课程资源营造的开放题情境能更好地满足不同学生的需求;数字课程资源呈现的动态化表征有助于促进学生的数学理解.

感恩和学校联结在家庭功能与心理韧性间的链式中介作用:普高生和职高生的多群组分析

目的:探究普高生与职高生在心理韧性、家庭功能、学校联结与感恩及其关系上的差异。方法:使用问卷法对广东、甘肃1224名普通高一学生与693名职业高一学生进行调查,对数据进行结构方程模型与多群组路径分析。结果:1普高生在自强(t=5.98,P<0.001)与人物取向的感恩(t=4.95,P<0.001)上显著高于职高生,而在韧性维度(t=-2.09,P<0.05)与适应性维度(t=-3.84,P<0.001)上则显著低于职高生。2感恩和学校联结在家庭功能和心理韧性之间的链式中介效应的95%置信区间为[0.04,0.06],感恩和学校联结的链式中介效应成立。3根据嵌套模型比较的结果,结构系数相等模型与基线模型存在显著差异(Δχ2=123.78,Δdf=12,P<0.001),两个群体的模型在系数上存在显著的差异。结论:普高生比职高生更自强,对他人更有感恩心;但职高生在韧性和家庭功能适应性上比普高生更胜一筹;家庭功能通过感恩与学校联结作用于个体的心理韧性,但家庭功能对职高生心理韧性的影响更大,感恩对普高生心理韧性的影响更大。研究为两个群体的韧性干预提供了实证证据。
