The purpose of this study was t...The 300-yard shuttle run is a field test commonly used to assess anaerobic capacity. There is limited documentation regarding the reliability of the shuttle run for various populations. The purpose of this study was to assess the reliability of the 300-yard shuttle run in High School girls basketball players. Thirty nine High School girls basketball players performed two separate sessions of the 300-yard shuttle run. During each session, the participants completed two trials of the 300-yard shuttle run separated by a 5-minute rest period. The trial 1 and 2 scores were 66.2 - 4.9 and 69.1 - 6.0 seconds, respectively. The interclass and intraclass reliability coefficients were r = 0.84 and ICC = 0.83. The standard error of the measure was SEm = 2.2 seconds with 90% confidence limits Of UL： 2.6, LL： 1.9. The typical error expressed as a coefficient of variation percent was CV% = 3.2 with 90% confidence limits Of UL： 3.7, LL： 2.8. Within the parameters of this study, the 300-yard shuttle run is a sufficiently reliable field test for measuring anaerobic capacity.展开更多

The non-governmental colleges has become the important part of higher education as a new power and abiding by the trend of internationalization of higher education just like the public colleges. Therefore they need to enhance the cultural exchange and cooperation with international universities and orientate their talent training mode in the international competition and even take the charge of flexible operation mechanism to pave the new way for their own characteristics and core competence.展开更多
In traditional concept,international cooperation in running schools usually stay at the level of inviting foreign teachers to give lectures in Chinese universities and sending teachers for overseas training.It only co...In traditional concept,international cooperation in running schools usually stay at the level of inviting foreign teachers to give lectures in Chinese universities and sending teachers for overseas training.It only could bring breakthrough progress in the effectiveness of teaching,when exchanges and cooperation in-depth to the connotation level of the mutual fusion of teaching ideas,teaching means and teaching aims.Based on the experience of international cooperation in running schools,combined with in-depth interviews on professional teachers,the author summed up proposed changes in the aspects of philosophy of education,teachers,teaching methods and the student literacy.Also,the author summarized the radiation effect achieved from Sinoforeign cooperation in running schools.展开更多
Education is a complex system that has evolved over thousands of years to reach its current level.It has many objects and subjects.The education systems of the countries are very diverse.Almost every country has its o...Education is a complex system that has evolved over thousands of years to reach its current level.It has many objects and subjects.The education systems of the countries are very diverse.Almost every country has its own ranking approach,because there is no universally accepted scientific theory of education.The search for effective reform in education continues today,but any reform that is not based on scientific theory cannot solve the problem.There are many problems in the content and management of education.Knowledge assessment is also flawed.No country can build an ideal school.It can be considered that in the last hundred years,education has not developed conceptually in the desired direction.Thus,education aims to train strong personalities,not perfect(wise)people.Although individualistic education may seem beneficial locally,globally it divides humanity and prevents its sustainable and harmonious living.However,in societies made up of perfect people,in principle there will be no division,harmony will exist,because perfect people solve problems not by force,but by reason,prefer cooperation rather than conflict.This means protecting the planet.To make the world a gun-free society,the view of education must change conceptually.This article presents a new philosophical view of teaching knowledge and proposes a new model,criteria,and theory.展开更多
