This case study focuses on the current and future needs of the management accounting within the Tallinn city government and their potential relationships with the sustainability reporting. This analysis is based on th...This case study focuses on the current and future needs of the management accounting within the Tallinn city government and their potential relationships with the sustainability reporting. This analysis is based on the study carried out within the city organizations in 2011. The questionnaire drawn up by the authors includes several questions about the current management accounting tools of the city and their development and support needs. The authors also add some questions related to the sustainability reporting, which is obligatory for the city as one of the members of the Aalborg Charter. The quantitative methodology was used. The authors' conclusion is that the level of the managerial accountability of the Estonian municipality is increasing and its sole economic focus is changing to a broader perspective. According to the findings of the study, the authors argue that both management accounting principles and sustainability principles are coming closer together. By using Talcott Parsons' adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency (AGIL) paradigm, the authors point out four critical components for implementing the sustainability reporting into a management accounting system. The results of this study highlight the role of values in the management accounting development, which is in harmony with the AGIL paradigm.展开更多

Compared with industrial parks in the usual sense, it pays more attenteon to scientific research, innovation, cooperation and communication. In this paper, through in-depth analyses of relevant literature and domestic actual situation, the industrial park's basic advantages and external environmental policies were interpreted, and the application prospect and practical significance of the current civil-military integration policy were analyzed based on the platform strategy of the civil-military integration industrial park. With R & D industrial parks as the object of study, this paper clarified the management of enterprises in this type of parks and the support provided by the parks, sorted out the industrial park planning plan under the civil-military integration strategy in accordance with the current economic situation and policy orientation, and finally reached the conclusion that the construction of the construction of R & D industrial parks under the civil-military integration strategy is a new growth point that will drive the deepening reform of the national economy and the sustained development of the national economy.展开更多
Background:Juvenile Localized Scleroderma(JLS)is a rare pediatric rheumatic disease characterized by inflammation and skin sclerosis.The side effect of consensus-recommended medications and the risk of disability pose...Background:Juvenile Localized Scleroderma(JLS)is a rare pediatric rheumatic disease characterized by inflammation and skin sclerosis.The side effect of consensus-recommended medications and the risk of disability posed challenges to the JLS treatment.We intend to demonstrate the potential of traditional Chinese medicine in treating JLS with skin ulcers and reducing the dose of glucocorticoid.Method:Here we report a case of a 13-year-old male with JLS who took oral methotrexate tablets of 10 mg/week and methylprednisolone of 6 mg/day for over six months without significant effect and suffered from skin ulcers on the dorsal feet one month after drug cessation.Subsequently,the patient was treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine of low-dose glucocorticosteroid,adjusted Shenqi Huoxue formula and Jinshe Xiaoyan formula,etc.Results:After integrated treatment,the patient’s dorsal feet ulcers healed and the skin sclerosis and hyperpigmentation improved significantly.Conclusions:This case report suggests that integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine can be used as an effective treatment for JLS.展开更多
The meshless method is a new numerical technique presented in recent years.It uses the moving least square(MLS)approximation as a shape function.The smoothness of the MLS approximation is determined by that of the bas...The meshless method is a new numerical technique presented in recent years.It uses the moving least square(MLS)approximation as a shape function.The smoothness of the MLS approximation is determined by that of the basic function and of the weight function,and is mainly determined by that of the weight function.Therefore,the weight function greatly affects the accuracy of results obtained.Different kinds of weight functions,such as the spline function, the Gauss function and so on,are proposed recently by many researchers.In the present work,the features of various weight functions are illustrated through solving elasto-static problems using the local boundary integral equation method.The effect of various weight functions on the accuracy, convergence and stability of results obtained is also discussed.Examples show that the weight function proposed by Zhou Weiyuan and Gauss and the quartic spline weight function are better than the others if parameters c and α in Gauss and exponential weight functions are in the range of reasonable values,respectively,and the higher the smoothness of the weight function,the better the features of the solutions.展开更多
Sometimes boundary value problems have isolated regions where the solution changes rapidly.Therefore,when solving numerically,one needs a fine grid to capture the high activity.The fine grid can be implemented as a co...Sometimes boundary value problems have isolated regions where the solution changes rapidly.Therefore,when solving numerically,one needs a fine grid to capture the high activity.The fine grid can be implemented as a composite coarse-fine grid or as a global fine grid.One cheaper way of obtaining the composite grid solution is the use of the local defect correction technique.The technique is an algorithm that combines a global coarse grid solution and a local fine grid solution in an iterative way to estimate the solution on the corresponding composite grid.The algorithm is relatively new and its convergence properties have not been studied for the boundary element method.In this paper the objective is to determine convergence properties of the algorithm for the boundary element method.First,we formulate the algorithm as a fixed point iterative scheme,which has also not been done before for the boundary element method,and then study the properties of the iteration matrix.Results show that we can always expect convergence.Therefore,the algorithm opens up a real alternative for application in the boundary element method for problems with localised regions of high activity.展开更多

To analyze the operation mechanism of the civil-military integrated innovation system of the military enterprises under the new situation, the system dynamics method is used to study the feedback relations among the factors and structure of the system and the Anylogic software is used to establish the simulation model . The simulation results indicate that: the degree of enthusiasm of private enterprises to participate in the defense industry, the degree of information sharing and the degree of cooperation between the mili- tary enterprises and universities and research institutions are extremely important in the civil-military integrated innovation system. According to the simulation results, some targeted suggestions are put forward to strengthen the innovational civil-military integrated system building of the military enter- prises.展开更多

Classical and recent studies on brain localization propose that Broca’s area underpin expressive langua...The human brain is a fascinatingly complex organ with specialized structures associated with distinct functions. Classical and recent studies on brain localization propose that Broca’s area underpin expressive language and this has been generalized to explain brain functional organization. However, recent neuroimaging studies have shown that the Broca’s area is an extended network that not only participate in its primary function-expressive language processing but in secondary functions-processing non-linguistic/nonverbal tasks as well. Also, there is hierarchical connectivity and interaction of Broca’s region and different brain areas in underlying related primary functions. For this review, I start with revisiting the classical description of brain localization. I then discuss the neuroanatomy of language production and the role of Broca’s region in language processing. I then highlight the participation of the Broca’s area in non-linguistic tasks and non-primary linguistic tasks. Ultimately, I propose a novel hypothesis called integrated systems hypothesis. The integrated systems hypothesis is useful for guiding research on the multimodal role of specific localized integrated systems of the brain especially the role of the Broca’s region in integrating linguistic and non-linguistic processing and how this facilitate language production.展开更多

A one-dimensional non-local kernel was used to replace a two-dimensional one for the dynamic problem to obtain the stress occurring at the crack tips. The Fourier transform was applied and a mixed boundary value problem was formulated. Then a set of triple integral equations was solved by using Schmidt's method. This method is more exact and more reasonable than Eringen's for solving this problem. Contrary to the classical elasticity solution, it is found that no stress singularity is present at the crack tip. The non-local dynamic elastic solutions yield a finite hoop stress at the crack tip, thus allowing for a fracture criterion based on the maximum dynamic stress hypothesis. In this study, the evaluating method of the local burning velocity was investigated using DNS data of turbulent premixed flames with different Lewis numbers. The local burning velocity was evaluated by integrating the chemical reaction rates along normal to the flame surface within three kinds of integration ranges that were defined as follows: the range which is defined by the half length of normal to the flame surface between its certain point and the other point crossing the flame surface (Range 1);the range which is defined by the reaction progress variable that the chemical reaction rate along normal to a planer flame surface takes a half of the maximum value (Range 2);the range which is defined by the length of normal to the flame surface between its certain point and the point which has the extreme value of the reaction progress variable (Range 3). As a result, Range 1 and Range 2 were affected by the flame shapes greatly, since the quantities of the integration ranges fluctuated widely dependent on the variations of turbulent premixed flames. Under the conditions of the turbulent combustion in this study, Range 3, which is hardly affected by a flame shape, is considered to be appropriate to the evaluation of the local burning velocity.展开更多

Based on the displacement discontinuity boundary integral equation (DDBIE) and boundary element method (BEM), a method of analysis of crack problems in non-local elasticity with generalized purpose is proposed. By using this method, several important problems in fracture mechanics such as edge crack are studied. The study of edge crack shows that the stress concentration factor (SCF) near the crack tip is not a constant but varies with the crack length. With this result the effect of crack length on the fracture roughness K (I c) is studied. The results obtained in this paper are in accordance with the published ones.展开更多

The gradient dependent model is adopted in the numerical model to overcome the result mesh-sensitivity problem in the dynamic strain softening or strain localization analysis. The equations for the dynamic elastic-plastic problems are derived in terms of the parametric variational principle, which is valid for associated, non-associated and strain softening plastic constitutive models in the finite element analysis. The precise integration method, which has been widely used for discretization in time domain of the linear problems, is introduced for the solution of dynamic nonlinear equations. The new algorithm proposed is based on the combination of the parametric quadratic programming method and the precise integration method and has all the advantages in both of the algorithms. Results of numerical examples demonstrate not only the validity, but also the advantages of the algorithm proposed for the numerical solution of nonlinear dynamic problems.展开更多

文摘The local burning velocity, which is based on the consumption rate of the unburned mixture, is one of the dominant parameters in turbulent premixed flames. In this study, the evaluating method of the local burning velocity was investigated using DNS data of turbulent premixed flames with different Lewis numbers. The local burning velocity was evaluated by integrating the chemical reaction rates along normal to the flame surface within three kinds of integration ranges that were defined as follows: the range which is defined by the half length of normal to the flame surface between its certain point and the other point crossing the flame surface (Range 1);the range which is defined by the reaction progress variable that the chemical reaction rate along normal to a planer flame surface takes a half of the maximum value (Range 2);the range which is defined by the length of normal to the flame surface between its certain point and the point which has the extreme value of the reaction progress variable (Range 3). As a result, Range 1 and Range 2 were affected by the flame shapes greatly, since the quantities of the integration ranges fluctuated widely dependent on the variations of turbulent premixed flames. Under the conditions of the turbulent combustion in this study, Range 3, which is hardly affected by a flame shape, is considered to be appropriate to the evaluation of the local burning velocity.

文摘One existence integral condition was obtained for the adapted solution of the general backward stochastic differential equations(BSDEs). Then by solving the integral constraint condition, and using a limit procedure, a new approach method is proposed and the existence of the solution was proved for the BSDEs if the diffusion coefficients satisfy the locally Lipschitz condition. In the special case the solution was a Brownian bridge. The uniqueness is also considered in the meaning of "F0-integrable equivalent class" . The new approach method would give us an efficient way to control the main object instead of the "noise".
文摘Field equations of the non-local elasticity are solved to determine the state of stress in a plate with a Griffith crack subject to uniform tension. Then a set of dual-integral equations is solved using a new method, namely Schmidt's method. This method is more exact and more reasonable than Eringen's a one Sor solving this kind of problem. Contrary to the solution of classical elasticity, it is found that no stress singularity is present ar the crack tip. The significance of this result is that the fracture criteria are unified at both the macroscopic and the microscopic scales. The finite hoop stress at the crack tip depends on the crack length.

文摘In this paper, the scattering of harmonic anti-plane shear wavesby a finite crack in infinitely long strip is studied using thenon-local theory. The Fourier transform is applied and a mixedboundary value problem is formulated. Then a set of dual integralequations is solved using the Schmidt method instead of the first orthe second integral equation method. A one-dimensional non-localkernel is used instead of a two-di- mensional one for the anti-planedynamic problem to obtain the stress occurring at the crack tips.Contrary to the classical elasticity solution, it is found that nostress singularity is present at the crack tip. The non-local dynamicelastic solutions yield a finite hoop stress at the crack tip, thusallowing for a fracture criterion based on the maximum dynamic stresshypothesis. The finite hoop stress at the crack tip depends on thecrack length, the width of the strip and the lattice parameters.
文摘In this pager, the displacement discontinuity fundamental solutions ( DDFS) corresponding to the unit concentrated displacement discontinuity for plane problems of non-local elasticity are obtained. Based on the displacement discontinuity boundary integral equation (DDBIE) and boundary element method (BEM), a method of analysis of crack problems in non-local elasticity with generalized purpose is proposed. By using this method, several important problems in fracture mechanics such as edge crack are studied. The study of edge crack shows that the stress concentration factor (SCF) near the crack tip is not a constant but varies with the crack length. With this result the effect of crack length on the fracture roughness K (I c) is studied. The results obtained in this paper are in accordance with the published ones.
文摘The objective of the paper is to develop a new algorithm for numerical solution of dynamic elastic-plastic strain hardening/softening problems. The gradient dependent model is adopted in the numerical model to overcome the result mesh-sensitivity problem in the dynamic strain softening or strain localization analysis. The equations for the dynamic elastic-plastic problems are derived in terms of the parametric variational principle, which is valid for associated, non-associated and strain softening plastic constitutive models in the finite element analysis. The precise integration method, which has been widely used for discretization in time domain of the linear problems, is introduced for the solution of dynamic nonlinear equations. The new algorithm proposed is based on the combination of the parametric quadratic programming method and the precise integration method and has all the advantages in both of the algorithms. Results of numerical examples demonstrate not only the validity, but also the advantages of the algorithm proposed for the numerical solution of nonlinear dynamic problems.

文摘With the explosion of services in grid environment, it's necessary to develop a mechanism which has the ability of discovering suitable grid services efficiently. This paper attempts to establish a layered resource management model based on the locality principle which classifies services into different domains and virtual organizations (VOs) according to their shared purposes. We propose an ontologybased search method applying the ontology theory for characterizing semantic information. In addition, we extend the UD- D1 in querying, storing, and so on. Simulation experiments have shown that our mechanism achieves higher performance in precision, recall and query response time.
