Researchers have studied the"kite"itself, the friendship between main characters and the cultural image reflected in this work. So the individualities and commonalities among these three characters are analyzed. Firstly, it partly describes Amir's cowardice and responsibility and Hassan's kindness, tolerance and loyalty. Then it narrates the features of both father and Amir which changed from cowardice to responsibility and the kindness and loyalty sides of father and Hassan. Finally, it can be seen that father and Hassan tried to be a kind, tolerant and loyal person for their whole lives. This thesis studies the characters of father from the characters of Amir and Hassan, not only gives a deep analysis of father but also describes a detailed individualities of Amir and Hassan which gives novel a new comprehensive understanding which can be used to study other similar literary works.展开更多
