Open Approach-Based Subject Matter： A New Aspect of Mathematical Activity Fostering Students＇ Creativity

This study compares the subject matter appeared on traditional Thai textbooks and Japanese textbooks and analyzes how extension and integration sequence on Japanese textbooks evokes students＇ mathematical creativity. The data were collected from the series of four lessons in the fifth grade by teaching experiment methodology conducted following the professional development project implemented lesson study and open approach in Thailand. The results show that extension and integration sequence is an appropriate subject matter to generate lesson for problem-solving classroom. The sequence of lesson leads students to excitement, curiosity, confidence and intimacy in mathematics that are powerful effects of mathematical creativity. Students can produce the different and various ways to solve problems that indicate their divergent thinking.

Multiplet relative location approach and waveform correlation correction and their application

The theory and method of relative location technique were described in the paper. The travel-time difference equa-tions for five phases (Pg, Sg, P11, S11 and Pn) were given. By using the multiplet relative location approach and wave correlation correction, the aftershock cluster of the Shunyi earthquake occurred on December 16, 1996 was relocated. The depth calculation was constrained by using multiple seismic phases. The relocation results were compared with that from traditional absolute location techniques.

Is Recast the Most Effective Type of Corrective Feedback？ --Under Cognitive and Sociolinguistic Approach

Currently, there are a variety of researches on corrective feedback, especially on recasts. Most of researches are experiment-based and depend on the certain context. This paper addresses the question of ＂Is recast the most effective form of corrective feedback？＂ by two of Second Language Acquisition （SLA） approaches： cognitive approach and sociolinguistic approach. Empirical research will be used as complement. Theoretically speaking, SLA hypotheses in cognitive approach exist disagreements. Interaction hypothesis favors recast while both input hypothesis and output hypothesis doubt the effectiveness of it. Sociolinguistic approach underscores the significance of appropriate and timely corrective feedback and does not give more credit to certain strategy. Both approaches provide the pedagogical implications and elements to take into account for adopting recasts.

Discussion about the Side Effect of Error Corrective Feedback and Possible Alternatives to Error Correction

Feedbacks given by teachers is possibly a common instruction in second language writing classes, to help students makeprogress in writing. At one time, feedback was almost entirely at a superficial level--identifying the grammatical errors and givingthe correct form. However, recently, this type of feedback has begun to be challenged by some researchers(eg.,Krashen, 1984, Trus-cott, 1996),who argue that teachers should be more concerned with the content of essay instead of grammatical errors. This essaywill discuss some research surrounding feedback to students' writing and will try to find the answer to the question whether the er-ror corrective feedback should be abandoned. In order to find the answer, the essay will elaborate on two parts: some literary reviewabout the issue and some suggested solutions to the issue.

基于ARMA-AE-LSTM模型的进场交通流预测方法

为建立准确有效的空中交通短期流量预测模型,提高终端区管理效率,以进场交通流为对象进行研究。首先采用自回归移动平均(autoregressive moving average,ARMA)模型对流量时间序列进行初步线性预测,然后通过长短期记忆网络(long short term memory,LSTM)模型对线性预测后的残差序列进行非线性修正预测。考虑到冗余特征会降低LSTM模型预测精度的问题,采用自编码器(autoencoder,AE)模型对LSTM模型的天气以及流量特征输入进行自适应压缩优化,最后设置对比实验对ARMA-AE-LSTM模型的准确性、鲁棒性以及时效性进行验证。实验结果表明:预测绝对误差在1.3架以内的占比达到75%;LSTM模型的平均每轮迭代时间降低为1.014 s;与其他常用深度学习预测模型相比,ARMA-AE-LSTM模型的均方根误差(root mean square error,RMSE)、平均绝对误差(mean absolute error,MAE)以及决定系数(r-squared,R2)评价指标分别改善了45.98%~67.66%、48.56%~67.35%、5.18%~21.07%;恶劣天气影响下,ARMA-AE-LSTM模型的鲁棒性更好。由此可见,该方法能够准确有效快速的预测空中交通流量。

Determining the approach speed envelope of carrier aircraft

Many factors,such as deck motion and air wave,influence the determination of the approach speed which has an important effect on landing safety. Until recently,there are no design criteria about approach speed of carrier aircraft in the current standards and available publications. Therefore,the requirements of stall margin, longitudinal acceleration ability,altitude correction and field-of-view on approach speed were researched. Based on the flight dynamics model,the flight simulations were conducted to study the effect of the response time of engine,wave off requirements,elevator efficiency and deflection rate on the approach speed. The results presented that the approach longitudinal acceleration and altitude correction ability had crucial influence on the approach speed envelope of the aircraft. The limitations of the control requirements,field- of- view requirements and gear were also given through the simulation and analysis. Based on the above results,the approach speed envelope were determined.

The application of communicative approaches in language teaching

English is widely taught and used in China. Yet, Traditional Language Teaching （TLT） methods are still used in most classrooms, which hinder the successful language learning. In the paper, communicative approach is introduced. And the authors sincerely hope that effective language learning can be promoted in the language classroom.

为了帮助教师及时、准确的批改大量Access操作题作业或试卷,基于AutoIt3和VBA,设计了一种针对Access操作题的自动批量批改程序框架。首先依据Access操作技能考核要求对Access操作题各小题划分评分点和对应分值,然后应用VBA实现单份Access操作题的自动批改程序,最后应用AutoIt3实现多份Access操作题的批量批改自动化。实际运行结果表明,该程序框架可以显著提高批改效率和批改质量。

为帮助教师快速、准确批改PowerPoint操作题,提出基于AutoIt3和VBA的PowerPoint操作题自动批量批改程序。通过对PowerPoint操作题划分评分点和对应分值,采用VBA编写自动批改代码,运用AutoIt3编写自动批量批改代码,实现PowerPoint操作题自动批量批改。通过比较表明,相较于教师人工批量批改,机器自动批量批改大大提高了批改效率和批改质量。

A Vicious Script in HTML Detection Method Using Judgment Matrix Approach

A vicious script detection method based on statistic is proposed by analyzing the vicious script in the hypertext markup language(HTML).We utilize the judgment matrix approach which is one of the subjective weighting approaches to set the different weights for various statistic methods.Then we make use of the weighted geometric method to perfect the statistic results.Experimental results show the validity of this method.

A Comparison of Three Chinese Versions of Hamlet's Excerpt Under the Perspective of Hermeneutic Motion Theory

The Hermeneutic approach to translation has been widely concerned since it was first introduced by George Steiner in1975. Under the guidance of hermeneutics theory, this thesis takes three Chinese versions of Hamlet's excerpts as the research ob-jects, trying to analyze the translation from Steiner's four specific Hermeneutic Motions of"trust","aggression","incorporation"and"restitution". Therefrom, we can obtain a clear understanding of how the subjectivity of the translator affects the whole processof translation activities.
