In this paper,taking agricultural enterprise as research object,theoretic model on the relationship between organizational flexibility and performance of enterprise is established. Via investigation data,different types of agricultural enterprises are analyzed. Results show that organizational flexibility of agricultural enterprise has certain positive impact on enterprise performance,and the impacts on enterprise performance by different aspects of organizational flexibility from different types of agricultural enterprises are different. 展开更多

The Effects of Organization Context, Investment Strategy, and Entry Mode on Management Performance: An Analysis of Taiwan Residents Enterprises in China Mainland

Among the top 1,000 Taiwan Residents enterprises in China listed by the database of Commercial Times in 2012, 763 of them witnessed revenue growth and 864 of them were in profits. This paper seeks to identify the reasons behind such a stellar performance by conducting an empirical study on the top 500 Taiwan Residents businesses in the database. The results suggest that: (1) the larger the investment into China, the better the business performances; (2) the higher the ownership by Taiwan Residents firms for the outward investments to China, the better the business performances; (3) compared to investments in IT, technology and machinery, the outward investments from Taiwan to China achieve better returns in commodity, energy, and mining; (4) compared to investments in Eastern, Central, and Western China, the investments in Chinese municipalities generate better returns. 展开更多

The progression through which a person acquires ,;kills, understanding, and opinions regarding a particular organization or company is called organizational learning (OL). In this study, the connection between organizational innovation (OI) and OL within the inf3rmation and communication technology (ICT) industry in Malaysia is surveyed. These relationships are examined, because various previous inquiries have shown that an imperative precursor to firm performance is OL. Two hundred and seventy-eight surveys were completed by small and medium organizations across Malaysia. The connections existing between the causes of OL and the causes of OI were ascertained by using structural equation modeling (SEM). Amongst the Malaysian small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that participated in fire study, OI and OL are considerably linked. 展开更多

The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Employees' Organizational Commitment in High-tech Enterprises of Jiangsu Province--Based on the Mediating Role of Regulatory Focus

With China's rapid economic development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays greater impact on its direct stakeholder employees' organizational commitment (EOC). A questionnaire survey was conducted on 426 employees of high-tech enterprises within Jiangsu Province. Multiple regression method was used to test the hypothesis based on the questionnaire reliability and validity analysis. The results show that the four dimensions of CSR including employees responsibility, products responsibility, environment responsibility and charitable responsibility have positive effect on the affective commitment;while the continuance commitment might be more influenced by the environment and charitable responsibility. The regulatory focus plays a moderate effect between CSR and EOC. Promote regulatory focus have positive impact on affective commitment and negative impact on continuance commitment. Defense regulatory focus is just on the opposite. 展开更多

Based on the embeddedness theory,six factors are discussed that influence organizational learning capability from the perspective of knowledge embeddedness: employees embeddedness, tools embeddedness, tasks embeddedness,interpersonal relationship embeddedness, organizational culture embeddedness and network environment embeddedness. Organizational Form and Expense-Preference Behavior: Evidence From Islamic Banks

This paper examines the organizational forms of Islamic banks, corporate governance mechanism, and their effects on organizational behavior, specifically related to managerial expense preferences. The paper opted for an ordinary least square (OLS) cluster regression and followed by a stochastic frontier approach test as a robustness test. Findings of this study indicate that organizational forms of Islamic banks influence managerial expense preferences. A stochastic frontier approach test supports the initial findings and reveals that the average noninterest cost inefficiency of Islamic banks without Shari'ah Boards is 23% compared to commercial banks. Islamic banks with Shari'ah Boards are, on average, 28% less noninterest cost inefficient compared to Islamic banks without Shari'ah Boards, and are on average, 16% less noninterest cost inefficient compared to commercial banks. Shari'ah Supervisory Boards' positive implications for Islamic banks are independent of the expectations of the governing structure or ownership. Specifically when looking at Islamic banks with Shari'ah Supervisory Boards, managerial propensity to engage in self-serving behavior is reduced. From the many organizational and environmental factors which might influence the spatial linkage patterns, six have been selected for analysis. These factors were highly correlated with value or volume of spatial linkages. Changes of spatial linkage pattems over time were analyzed based on a representative sample of the Nanjing Automotive Industrial Corporation, and findings with case studies were illustrated. 展开更多

This study is based on the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity(AMO)model.Through two sub-studies,it explores the influence of ability-enhancing,motivation-enhancing,and opportunity-enhancing strategic human resource management(SHRM)in science and technology enterprises,on product innovation performance(PIP).It also reveals the dynamic evolution that influence from the perspective of the enterprise lifecycles.Sub-study 1 analyzes 441 questionnaires from managers of science and technology enterprises,using a qualitative comparative analysis method to determine the differences in the lifecycles of different enterprises.A qualitative comparative analysis of the questionnaires identifies the configurations of AMO SHRM,organizational emotional capability(OEC),and organizational human capital(OHC)that affect PIP at different lifecycles.Sub-study 2 empirically validates the dynamic capability path and resource-enhancing path of the impact of AMO SHRM on PIP using 444 questionnaires from managers of science and technology enterprises.The outcomes make the following revelations.(1)There are two possible configurations for product innovation during the startup stage,and opportunity-enhancing SHRM(OSHRM),OEC,and OHC are necessary conditions for impacting product innovation.There are three possible configurations for product innovation during the growth phase,and three possible configurations during the mature phase.(2)OSHRM in the startup stage affects product innovation through human capital,while ability-enhancing SHRM(ASHRM)and motivation-enhancing SHRM(MSHRM)do not significantly affect product innovation.ASHRM and OSHRM in the growth stage affect product innovation through OEC and OHC,while MSHRM has a significant impact on product innovation.AMO SHRM in the mature stage affects PIP through OEC and OHC.The study compares the impact of AMO SHRM on PIP from the perspectives of dynamic capability and resource-enhancing paths,and longitudinally analyzes the adaptability of the two paths in different stages of the enterprise life,providing reference for science and technology enterprise management practices. 展开更多

In this study,we examine the effects of the transformation of accounting firms’organizational form on audit quality.We find that the transformation from limited liability to limited liability partnerships has a significant negative effect on the absolute value of discretionary accruals of audited companies.In particular,the transformation has a significant negative effect on positive discretionary accruals and no effect on negative discretionary accruals.We also find that CPAs are more likely to issue modified audit opinions in the year after the transformation,and that there is no evidence that accounting firm size and listed company ownership influence the relationship between the transformation and audit quality.Our conclusions provide empirical evidence for policy makers and enrich the literature on accounting firms’organizational forms. 展开更多

随着建设工程项目的管理难度不断上升,加之建设工程项目在发包过程中项目各参建单位之间的组织架构呈现出模块化特性,从组织模块化的视角识别出建设工程项目组织形式在模块化程度方面的两个重要维度,包括界面设计规则和近似可分解,同时... 随着建设工程项目的管理难度不断上升,加之建设工程项目在发包过程中项目各参建单位之间的组织架构呈现出模块化特性,从组织模块化的视角识别出建设工程项目组织形式在模块化程度方面的两个重要维度,包括界面设计规则和近似可分解,同时引入各参建单位的合作行为作为中介变量,基于196份问卷结果实证探究其对项目创新绩效的影响。结果表明:建设工程项目组织形式模块化程度对项目创新绩效有显著正向影响,各参建单位的合作行为在组织形式模块化程度与项目创新绩效之间起中介作用;在设计、采购和建造的工程总承包(EPC)模式下,各参建单位之间的工作分工更为明晰,参建单位之间的资源整合效率和协作情况也更为突出,较为符合高界面规则明确性和高近似可分解性的模块化组织形式,对项目创新绩效的提高作用更为明显。因此,在建设工程项目实施过程中不但要关注参建单位的合作行为,还要对项目组织形式进行优化。 展开更多
