On the Relationship between Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide and Global Temperature

The study of dynamic relationships between the atmospheric carbon dioxide and the Earth’s global temperature in the current changing climate supported the notion that the trend in the global temperature followed the ... The study of dynamic relationships between the atmospheric carbon dioxide and the Earth’s global temperature in the current changing climate supported the notion that the trend in the global temperature followed the trend in the atmospheric CO2 before the climate hiatus that started in the beginning of the 21st century. During the hiatus period, the heat trapped by the atmospheric CO2 is going mostly to the ocean. This conclusion is supported by comparison of the CO2 trend with the trend in the ocean heat content. The phase relationships between the CO2 and temperature are more complicated after the removal of the trends. The phase relationships are chaotic on time scales shorter than the annual time scale. During 1986-2008, the atmospheric CO2 changed in an-ti-phase with the global temperature. The phase relationship reversed in 1979 and after 2010. The atmospheric CO2 was in-phase with the global temperature on the El Nino time scale (2.3 - 7 years) except during very strong El Nino years in 1991-1999 when CO2 led the global temperature. 展开更多

The topological indices of twenty asymmetrical phosphone bisazo derivatives of chromotropic acid were calculated. The work shows that QSPR can be used as a novel aid to predict the molar absorptivities of color reactions and in the long term to be helpful tool in color reagent design. Multiple regression analysis and neural network were employed simultaneously in this study. The results demonstrated the feasibility and the effectiveness of the method. 展开更多

Linear Free Energy Relationships in Extraction of Rare Earths by Acidic Organophosphorus Extractants

The correlation relationships of apparent extraction equilibrium constant (1gK(ex)) with the electronic effect parameter( Sigma sigma(Phi)) and the steric effect parameter ( Sigma upsilon ) of the substituents in extractant molecules are investigated by linear regression analysis in the extraction of rare earths by various classes and structures of monoacidic organophosphorus extractants. The results indicate that in Linear free energy relationship formula 1gK(ex) = rho Sigma sigma(Phi) + psi Sigma upsilon + h generally follows for this kind of extraction systems. Accordingly, the quantitative structure-behaviour relationships of extractants are discussed. These relationships can be preliminarily applied to predict the 1gK(ex) values of rare earth extraction with definite structures of this class of extractants, and thus can provide some directions for the design of new RE extractants. 展开更多

Spatial coupling relationships of gas hydrate formation in the Tibetan Plateau

At present, gas hydrates are known to occur in continental high latitude permafrost regions and deep sea sediments. For middle latitude permafrost regions of the Tibetan Plateau, further research is required to ascertain its potential development of gas hydrates. This paper reviewed pertinent literature on gas hydrates in the Tibetan Plateau. Both geological and ge- ographical data are synthesized to reveal the relationship between gas hydrate formation and petroleum geological evo- lution, Plateau uplift, formation of permafrost, and glacial processes. Previous studies indicate that numerous residual basins in the Plateau have been formed by original sedimentary basins accompanied by rapid uplift of the Plateau. Ex- tensive marine Mesozoic hydrocarbon source rocks in these basins could provide rich sources of materials forming gas hydrates in permafrost. Primary hydrocarbon-generating period in the Plateau is from late Jurassic to early Cretaceous, while secondary hydrocarbon generation, regionally or locally, occurs mainly in the Paleogene. Before rapid uplift of the Plateau, oil-gas reservoirs were continuously destroyed and assembled to form new reservoirs due to structural and thermal dynamics, forcing hydrocarbon migration. Since 3.4 Ma B.P., the Plateau has undergone strong uplift and extensive gla- ciation, periglacier processes prevailed, hydrocarbon gas again migrated, and free gas beneath ice sheets within sedi- mentary materials interacted with water, generating gas hydrates which were finally preserved under a cap formed by frozen layers through rapid cooling in the Plateau. Taken as a whole, it can be safely concluded that there is great temporal and spatial coupling relationships between evolution of the Tibetan Plateau and generation of gas hydrates. 展开更多

Numerous decision-makers in politics,science,and business worldwide have acknowledged that hydrogen H_(2) will become one of the most important energy sources of the 21st century if the desired energy transition to carbon-free energy sources is to be taken seriously.Nevertheless,this transition in general and the introduction of H_(2) in particular is still progressing far too slowly.There are now countless projects worldwide,including several worth billions of US dollars,but we are still waiting for the breakthrough.There seem to be various reasons for this,not just one single or most important one.Purpose:In the overall context of global earth overheating(often downplayed as“climate change”),hydrogen H_(2) will undoubtedly play a decisive role as of now.The paper aims to identify the key challenges and propose solutions for establishing a sustainable value chain for market penetration of H_(2).Design/methodology/approach:This paper aims to shed light on the current situation using freely accessible publications from global management consultancies and the German government,as well as critical reporting.The problem of human behavior is also explained by the Novak Triangle.Findings:Most people have come to understand that anthropogenic global overheating can only be solved by new technologies(which cost money,time,and behavioral change)in production and application.Hydrogen H_(2) appears to be an essential part of the desired solution.Nevertheless,there are currently still numerous challenges and also concrete concerns worldwide,which partially cast the implementation in a questionable light.The findings suggest that establishing a demand and supply of H_(2) needs a comprehensive infrastructure,circular economy principles,and changes in consumer behavior and policy frameworks.The paper proposes solutions for addressing these challenges.Affected countries:The situation described here relates to Germany and the EU countries,but it is likely to be comparable,or at least similar,for many industrialized countries.The challenges and solutions proposed in this paper are relevant to countries worldwide that are transitioning to sustainable energy and transportation systems.Research/future/practical implications:As of 2024,it must be stated that the implementation of H_(2) is still progressing far too slowly,even in the“model country”Germany.There are still problems and stalling in many places.The biggest challenge seems to be the problem:without demand,there is no supply;without supply,there is no demand.This can then best be achieved with simple“out-of-the-box”solutions in mindset(see Novak triangle).The research implications of this paper include the need for further research on the challenges of establishing a sustainable value chain and the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.The future implications of this paper include the importance of establishing a sustainable value chain to mitigate climate change and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.The core point will become the collaboration across the entire value chain to establish a sustainable infrastructure for sustainable energy and transportation systems.Originality/value:Currently,there are virtually no scientific books that would present the overall context of the challenges.Therefore,only current surveys,market volumes,and challenges in environmental and working conditions can be described here.This paper contributes to the literature by analyzing the challenges of establishing a market model for hydrogen H_(2).The paper proposes solutions for addressing these challenges and shows difficulties.It provides valuable insights for policymakers,industry stakeholders,and researchers working towards a sustainable energy future. 展开更多

在对密井网解剖、露头解剖、现代沉积解剖、沉积模拟实验等建立地质知识库方法优缺点分析基础上,利用Google Earth软件测量了一系列曲流河道的基础数据,结合"将今论古"思想,提出了基于Google Earth软件建立曲流河地质知识库... 在对密井网解剖、露头解剖、现代沉积解剖、沉积模拟实验等建立地质知识库方法优缺点分析基础上,利用Google Earth软件测量了一系列曲流河道的基础数据,结合"将今论古"思想,提出了基于Google Earth软件建立曲流河地质知识库的方法。首先,分析了已有方法的优缺点。其次,介绍了Google Earth软件测量曲流河道的方法步骤,并测量了不同地区不同曲率的河道宽度、点坝长度及弧长,得到了一系列测量数据,建立了测量数据表,并结合已有经验公式与测量数据拟合得到的公式综合分析。结果表明,不同环境中曲流河的河道宽度和点坝长度具不同的相关关系,曲流河的地质知识库不能按统一标准考虑。在不同曲率情况下,河道宽度和点坝长度之间的相关关系亦不同,且随着曲率的减少,其相关关系减弱,反映出点坝的发育程度受河流弯曲程度控制。最后,建议采用建立地质模式库的思想建立定量化曲流河地质知识库,用于对储层建模进行有效约束。 展开更多

Afterwards, the health state of three typical lakes ( San- baidang, Beimayang and Qiaobeidang) in Wujiang City were evaluated by the system, and the measures to develop and protect the lakes were put forward finally. E Resultl The assessment results showed that Sanbaidang and Beimayang were in basic health, while Qiaobeidang was in sub- health. The indicator system and assessment method are suitable for the rivers in eastern plains of China.[ Conclusion] The research could provide scientific references for the development, protection and restoration of lakes. 展开更多

“看人——获取软信息”“看事——获取硬信息”是政策性农业信贷担保机制缓解信息不对称的重要手段,厘清其对融资成本的作用机理,对于缓解“融资贵”问题具有重要的理论与现实意义。论文基于内蒙古自治区3市382个农业经营主体的调查数... “看人——获取软信息”“看事——获取硬信息”是政策性农业信贷担保机制缓解信息不对称的重要手段,厘清其对融资成本的作用机理,对于缓解“融资贵”问题具有重要的理论与现实意义。论文基于内蒙古自治区3市382个农业经营主体的调查数据,实证分析了“看人”“看事”机制对不同类型融资成本的差异性影响。研究发现,“看人”“看事”机制对显性融资成本无影响,“看人”机制对隐性融资成本的增加作用更强,“看事”机制对转嫁成本的增加作用更强。机制检验表明,“看人”“看事”机制引发的多层次委托代理关系是政策性农业信贷担保市场融资成本高的本质原因。进一步研究发现,数字赋能和软信息硬化是缓解“融资贵”问题的有效路径。据此,从“有为政府+有效市场”、强化内部激励机制、加快数据信息系统建设、引进能人型村干部等方面提出实现农业信贷担保体系高质量发展的政策建议。 展开更多

人间置观:唐代“道观”的官方化建制与营造

历史来看,“道观”被确立为道教庙宇正式名称及建筑形态,主要缘于唐代朝廷政治支持;与之相配合,道教团体积极参与了“道观”的具体设计和营造工作。唐代“道观”建制和营造经历了三个阶段:“武德-贞观”(620—649)为“道观”定名期;“高... 历史来看,“道观”被确立为道教庙宇正式名称及建筑形态,主要缘于唐代朝廷政治支持;与之相配合,道教团体积极参与了“道观”的具体设计和营造工作。唐代“道观”建制和营造经历了三个阶段:“武德-贞观”(620—649)为“道观”定名期;“高宗-武周”(649—705)为“道观”兴建期;“睿宗-玄宗”(705—762)为“道观”圣化期。在此背景下,“道观”的建筑形态及其殿堂陈设,主要体现唐代朝廷的政治神圣化要求;相应地,道教提出了“人间置观”“立观度人”的新教义纲领,并积极配合朝廷营造道观。唐代朝廷与道教团体之间,正是以“道观”为纽带,构建了一种政治与宗教的同盟关系:一方面,唐王朝的政治威权假“道观”而得以树立和巩固;另一方面,道教亦通过“道观”确立了在中国传统社会的正统地位。 展开更多

随着社会经济的发展、生活方式的改变,旅游正逐步成为现代居民生活的必要构成,呈现明显的“生活化”特征,它既表现出居民对当下生活的“需求”,也映射了居民对理想生活的“追求”。文章以现代旅游“生活化”现象为出发点,运用程序化扎... 随着社会经济的发展、生活方式的改变,旅游正逐步成为现代居民生活的必要构成,呈现明显的“生活化”特征,它既表现出居民对当下生活的“需求”,也映射了居民对理想生活的“追求”。文章以现代旅游“生活化”现象为出发点,运用程序化扎根理论探究旅游者行为意向、旅游目的地“人-地-业”互动关系,并尝试构建旅游目的地“人-地-业”高质量发展系统。研究结果表明:旅游“生活化”背景下旅游者的需求呈现明显的泛中心化特征,强调对旅游目的地的在地文化感知与旅游行为后的获得感;旅游目的地供给侧结构会因旅游者需求转变而发生形变和膨胀,形成“人-地-业”动态发展框架;通过打造高度嵌合式产业结构,构建“人-地-业”高质量发展系统是克服当前供给侧缺陷、推动“人-地-业”系统良性循环的有效途径。 展开更多
