Analytical calculation and numerical analysis of ...Understanding the physical features of the flow noise for an axisymmetric body is important for improving the performance of a sonar mounted on an underwater platform. Analytical calculation and numerical analysis of the physical features of the flow noise for an axisymmetric body are presented and a simulation scheme for the noise correlation on the hydrophones is given. It is shown that the numerical values of the flow noise coincide well with the analytical values. The main physical features of flow noise are obtained. The flow noises of two different models are compared and a model with a rather optimal fore-body shape is given. The flow noise in horizontal symmetry profile of the axisymmetric body is non-uniform, but it is omni-directional and has little difference in the cross section of the body. The loss of noise diffraction has a great effect on the flow noise from boundary layer transition. Meanwhile, based on the simulation, the noise power level increases with velocity to approximately the fifth power at high frequencies, which is consistent with the experiment data reported in the literature. Furthermore, the flow noise received by the acoustic array has lower correlation at a designed central frequency, which is important for sonar system design.展开更多

The universality of this spectrum is argued, and its validity is checked by the comparison with experimental result. The potential applications of this model in theoretical and numerical studies are emphasized. Another contribution of this work is around the application of correlation function to analyzing the statistics of OPD. Based on our results and other results published elsewhere, we show that the OPD is often not stationary, and one should be cautious about using this tool.展开更多

This papersolves it through decomposition of the power spectrum in multilayers using wavelet transform andextraction of the low frequency decomposition coefficient as the envelope information of the powerspectrum. Intelligent identification of the tool wear status is achieved in the drilling processthrough fusing the wavelet decomposition coefficient of the power spectrum by using a BP (BackPropagation) neural network. The experimental results show that the features of the power spectrumcan be extracted efficiently through this method, and the trained neural networks show highidentification precision and the ability of extension.展开更多

Furthermore, as long as the exons with period-3 behavior accord with the order of protein translated, they would exhibit the synonymous codons usage preference, and the codons with g/c at the third position are used in higher frequency. In particular, a frequency dependent pea...A versatile approach is employed to generate artificial accelerograms which satisfy the compatibility criteria prescribed by the Chinese aseismic code provisions GB 50011-2001. In particular, a frequency dependent peak factor derived by means of appropriate Monte Carlo analyses is introduced to relate the GB 50011-2001 design spectrum to a parametrically defined evolutionary power spectrum (EPS). Special attention is given to the definition of the frequency content of the EPS in order to accommodate the mathematical form of the aforementioned design spectrum. Further, a one-to-one relationship is established between the parameter controlling the time-varying intensity of the EPS and the effective strong ground motion duration. Subsequently, an efficient auto-regressive moving-average (ARMA) filtering technique is utilized to generate ensembles of non-stationary artificial accelerograms whose average response spectrum is in a close agreement with the considered design spectrum. Furthermore, a harmonic wavelet based iterative scheme is adopted to modify these artificial signals so that a close matching of the signals' response spectra with the GB 50011-2001 design spectrum is achieved on an individual basis. This is also done for field recorded accelerograms pertaining to the May, 2008 Wenchuan seismic event. In the process, zero-phase high-pass filtering is performed to accomplish proper baseline correction of the acquired spectrum compatible artificial and field accelerograms. Numerical results are given in a tabulated format to expedite their use in practice.展开更多
A number of fractal/multifractal methods are introduced for quantifying the mineral deposit spectrum which include a number-size model, grade-tonnage model, power spectrum model, multifractal model and an eigenvalue s...A number of fractal/multifractal methods are introduced for quantifying the mineral deposit spectrum which include a number-size model, grade-tonnage model, power spectrum model, multifractal model and an eigenvalue spectrum model. The first two models characterize mineral deposits spectra based on relationships among the measures of mineral deposits. These include the number of deposits, size of deposits, concentration and volume of mineral deposits. The last three methods that deal with the spatial-temporal spectra of mineral deposit studies are all expected to be popularized in near future. A case study of hydrothermal gold deposits from the Abitibi area, a world-class mineral district, is used to demonstrate the principle as well as the applications of methods proposed in this paper. It has been shown that fractal and multifractal models are generally applicable to modeling of mineral deposits and occurrences. Clusters of mineral deposits were identified by several methods including the power spectral analysis, singularity analysis and the eigenvalue analysis. These clusters contain most of the known mineral deposits in the Timmins and Kirkland Lake camps.展开更多
The Ying-Qiong Basin is located on the northwestern margin of the South China Sea and at the junction of the South China Block and the Indochina Block.It is characterized by complex geological structures.The existing ...The Ying-Qiong Basin is located on the northwestern margin of the South China Sea and at the junction of the South China Block and the Indochina Block.It is characterized by complex geological structures.The existing seismic data in the study area is sparse due to the lack of earthquake activities.Because of the limited source energy and poor coverage of seismic data,the knowledge of deep structures in the area,including the spatial distribution of deep faults,is incomplete.Contrarily,satellite gravity data cover the entire study area and can reveal the spatial distribution of faults.Based on the wavelet multi-scale decomposition method,the Bouguer gravity field in the Ying-Qiong Basin was decomposed and reconstructed to obtain the detailed images of the first-to sixth-order gravitational fields.By incorporating the known geological features,the gravitational field responses of the main faults in the Ying-Qiong Basin were identified in the detailed fields,and the power spectrum analysis yielded the depths of 1.4,8,15,26.5,and 39 km for the average burial depths of the bottom surfaces from the first-to fifth-order detailed fields,respectively.The four main faults in the Yinggehai Basin all have a large active depth range:fault A(No.1)is between 5 and 39 km,fault B is between 26.5 and 39 km,and faults C and D are between 15 and 39 km.However,the depth of active faults in the Qiongdongnan Basin is relatively shallow,mainly between 8 and 26.5 km.展开更多

The signals generated by electromagnetic flow sensors used for slurry fluids are often affected by noise interference produced by interaction with the slurry itself.In this study,the power spectrum characteristics of...The signals generated by electromagnetic flow sensors used for slurry fluids are often affected by noise interference produced by interaction with the slurry itself.In this study,the power spectrum characteristics of the signal are studied,and an attempt is made to determine the relationship between the characteristics of the related noise and the velocity and concentration of the slurry fluid.Dedicated experiments are conducted and the related power spectrum curve is obtained processing the signal measured by the sensor with Matlab.Numerical simulations are also carried out in the frame of an Eulerian approach in order get additional insights into the considered problem through comparison with the experimental results.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The intensity of noise is directly proportional to the number of solid particles colliding with the electrode of the electromagnetic flow sensor per unit time,and to the square of the average velocity of the flow layer near the pipe wall.(2)With an increase in the slurry noise intensity,the power spectrum curve shifts upward in the logarithmic coordinate system(and vice versa).展开更多
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the changes of electroencephalogram(EEG)power spectrum,P300 latency and amplitude at different frequency bands and the severity of depressive episode in adolescents wh...Objective:To investigate the relationship between the changes of electroencephalogram(EEG)power spectrum,P300 latency and amplitude at different frequency bands and the severity of depressive episode in adolescents who were hospitalized for the first time.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 126 adolescent patients with depressive episodes who were hospitalized for the first time in the Department of Children and Adolescents of Yunnan Psychiatric Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023.According to Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),the patients were divided into three groups:mild depression group(43 cases),moderate depression group(42 cases)and severe depression group(41 cases).The distribution of the 16-lead power spectrum of α,θ,and δ waves in EEG,as well as the latency and amplitude of P300,were compared among the three groups.The association between adolescent depression and its severity was analyzed.Results:(1)The EEG power distribution of the three groups was different in the frequency bands of α,θ and δ(P<0.05).There were differences in the α,θ,and δ frequency bands between mild and moderate as well as severe depressive episodes,and between moderate and severe depressive episodes in the θ and δ frequency bands.(2)P300,N2 latency and P300 amplitude:There were significant differences among the three groups(P<0.05).(3)δFP1,θF3,θC4,P300 latency and N2 latency were positively correlated with the degree of depression;P300 amplitude andα02 were negatively correlated with the degree of depression.(4)The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)area of P300 amplitude was 0.932,and the area under the curve ofα02 was 0.776.Conclusion:The combination of resting EEG power and P300 can be used as a biomarker to assess the severity of a depressive episode in adolescents who are hospitalized for the first time and provide a new strategy for treatment.展开更多

To this end, we ...This paper presents the neutron energy spectrum in the central position of a neutron flux trap assembled in the core center of the research nuclear reactor IPEN/MB-01, obtained by an unfolding method. To this end, we have used several different types of activation foils (Au, Sc, Ti, Ni, and plates) which have been irradiated in the central position of the reactor core (setting number 203) at a reactor power level (64.57±2.91 watts). The activation foils were counted by solid-state detector HPGe (high pure germanium detector) (gamma spectrometry). The experimental data of nuclear reaction rates (saturated activity per target nucleus) and a neutron spectrum estimated by a reactor physics computer code are the main input data to get the most suitable neutron spectrum in the irradiation position obtained through SANDBP (spectrum analysis neutron detection code-version Budapest University) code: a neutron spectra unfolding code that uses an iterative adjustment method. the integral neutron flux, (2.41 ± 0.01) × 10^9 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for the thermal The adjustment resulted in (3.85 ± 0.14) × 10^9 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for neutron flux, (1.09 ±0.02) × 10^9n·cm^-2·s^-1 for intermediate neutron flux and (3.41 ± 0.02) × 10^8 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for the fast neutrons flux. These results can be used to verify and validate the nuclear reactor codes and its associated nuclear data libraries, besides, show how much effective it can be that the use of a neutron flux trap in the nuclear reactor core to increase the thermal neutron flux without increase the operation reactor power level. The thermal neutral flux increased 4.04 ± 0.21 times compared with the standard configuration of the reactor core.展开更多

S...In order to satisfy increasingly greater demand for the performance of communication systems, a throughput efficient wireless system based on the extended binary phase shift keying (EBPSK) modulation is presented. Simultaneously, corresponding analysis of power spectra is also given with a brief process. The optimal waveform is proposed without useful information loss, by removing linear spectra presenting periodic components. On this basis, the reasonable definition of bandwidth is discussed, which indicates that the EBPSK belongs to the category of the ultra narrow band (UNB) throughput-efficient communication. Meanwhile, the modulation parameters' effects on bandwidth, transmission rate and transmission performance are analyzed. Results illustrate the validity of theoretical analysis and spectrum optimization. Results also prove that this UNB system can obtain good bit error rate (BER) performance with high spectra efficiency.展开更多

Power spectrum and cross-wavelet transform analysis was adopted to study the time-frequency characteristics and multiscale correlations between runoff,tidal range and salinity in the Changjiang Estuary based on the ru...Power spectrum and cross-wavelet transform analysis was adopted to study the time-frequency characteristics and multiscale correlations between runoff,tidal range and salinity in the Changjiang Estuary based on the runoff data collected at the Datong Station,the tidal range measured at the Baozhen Station,and the salinity at the Baogang Station from 2008 to 2009.The variations of the salinity showed significant periodicity at scales of 2-3,7-8,14-15 and 26-30 d.The correlation between the salinity and the runoff and the tidal range were found to be significantly related to shock at scales of 5-7,14-15,26-30 d and 0.5 a.The correlation between the runoff and the salinity was mainly in the same phase,while the correlation between the tidal range and the salinity was in the antiphase.Different frequency bands were related to different degrees,and their relevance increased as the resonance frequency decreased.In addition,changes of the seasonal runoff were obvious.Specifically,a point of discontinuity was reached in early June with a cycle of 7-8 d,which coincided with the periodicity of plum rains in the Changjiang-Huaihe region.High-frequency changes (8-16 d period) of the salinity corresponded to the time domain in January-April 2008,February-April 2009 and October-December 2009 and exhibited an approximately 0.5 a (184 d) long frequency oscillation.Short-period changes were found to be stronger than long-period changes.Cross-wavelet transforms for the salinity,the runoff and the tidal range revealed local features in the time domain,while the significant levels of different periodic oscillations were observed in the frequency domain.The correlation characteristics of the salinity and the runoff were significant in the 80-90 d frequency domain,indicating that the major impact of the runoff on the salinity was reflected in seasonal changes.The tidal range on the small scale of 14-15 and 30-32 d was more obvious than the runoff.展开更多

The auto-regressive(AR) model of group pulse current flowing across the cathode and the anode are created under different situations with different processing parameters and inter-electrode gap size. The AR model based on the current signals indicates that the order of the AR model is obviously different relating to the different processing conditions and the inter-electrode gap size; Moreover, it is different about the stability of the dynamic system, i.e. the white noise response of the Green's function of the dynamic system is diverse. In addition, power spectrum method is used in the analysis of the dynamic time series about the current signals with different inter-electrode gap size, the results show that there exists a strongest power spectrum peak, characteristic power spectrum(CPS), to the current signals related to the different inter-electrode gap size in the range of 0~5 kHz. Therefore, the CPS of current signals can implement the identification of the inter-electrode gap.展开更多

It shows that the SST are provided with multi-time scales structure nested one another, and vary on scales of 2 - 7 years, 8 - 20 years and 〉30 years. The most significant variation of the warm and cold episodes is in the 4-year band of period. The power, frequency structure and confidence of the same episode are different in different Nino regions. The intensity of oscillations is increasing at low frequency bands and decreasing at high frequency bands from east to west in the Nino regions, especially after 1970.展开更多
The turbulence structure in the stirred tank with a deep hollow blade(semi-ellispe) disc turbine(HEDT) was investigated by using time-resolved particle image velocimetry(TRPIV) and traditional PIV.In the stirred tank,...The turbulence structure in the stirred tank with a deep hollow blade(semi-ellispe) disc turbine(HEDT) was investigated by using time-resolved particle image velocimetry(TRPIV) and traditional PIV.In the stirred tank,the turbulence generated by blade passage includes the periodic components and the random turbulent ones.Traditional PIV with angle-resolved measurement and TRPIV with wavelet analysis were both used to obtain the random turbulent kinetic energy as a comparison.The wavelet analysis method was successfully used in this work to separate the random turbulent kinetic energy.The distributions of the periodic kinetic energy and the random turbulent kinetic energy were obtained.In the impeller region,the averaged random turbulent kinetic energy was about 2.6 times of the averaged periodic one.The kinetic energies at different wavelet scales from a6 to d1 were also calculated and compared.TRPIV was used to record the sequence of instantaneous velocity in the impeller stream.The evolution of the impeller stream was observed clearly and the sequence of the vorticity field was also obtained for the identification of vortices.The slope of the energy spectrum was approximately-5/3 in high frequency representing the existence of inertial subrange and some isotropic properties in stirred tank.From the power spectral density(PSD) ,one peak existed evidently,which was located at f0(blade passage frequency) generated by the blade passage.展开更多

文摘Huge amount of digital data of the Great East Japan Earthquake is provided by the highly-developed digital data technology. But the method and technique for analysis of these huge digital data are not developed sufficiently. This paper proposes a running spectrum technique for text data and analyzing changes of disaster phase during the disaster management cycle. Impact analysis of the nuclear power plant accidents have been performed by using Fukushima Minpo newspaper for its verification. The result shows the dynamic characteristics of the nuclear power plant accidents. As the time interval B becomes longer, the analysis data is used from wide range period along with the smoothing effect. When observing different time intervals B, fewer keywords have been ranked in the longer time intervals of B. 文摘A versatile approach is employed to generate artificial accelerograms which satisfy the compatibility criteria prescribed by the Chinese aseismic code provisions GB 50011-2001. In particular, a frequency dependent peak factor derived by means of appropriate Monte Carlo analyses is introduced to relate the GB 50011-2001 design spectrum to a parametrically defined evolutionary power spectrum (EPS). Special attention is given to the definition of the frequency content of the EPS in order to accommodate the mathematical form of the aforementioned design spectrum. Further, a one-to-one relationship is established between the parameter controlling the time-varying intensity of the EPS and the effective strong ground motion duration. Subsequently, an efficient auto-regressive moving-average (ARMA) filtering technique is utilized to generate ensembles of non-stationary artificial accelerograms whose average response spectrum is in a close agreement with the considered design spectrum. Furthermore, a harmonic wavelet based iterative scheme is adopted to modify these artificial signals so that a close matching of the signals' response spectra with the GB 50011-2001 design spectrum is achieved on an individual basis. This is also done for field recorded accelerograms pertaining to the May, 2008 Wenchuan seismic event. In the process, zero-phase high-pass filtering is performed to accomplish proper baseline correction of the acquired spectrum compatible artificial and field accelerograms. Numerical results are given in a tabulated format to expedite their use in practice.
文摘A number of fractal/multifractal methods are introduced for quantifying the mineral deposit spectrum which include a number-size model, grade-tonnage model, power spectrum model, multifractal model and an eigenvalue spectrum model. The first two models characterize mineral deposits spectra based on relationships among the measures of mineral deposits. These include the number of deposits, size of deposits, concentration and volume of mineral deposits. The last three methods that deal with the spatial-temporal spectra of mineral deposit studies are all expected to be popularized in near future. A case study of hydrothermal gold deposits from the Abitibi area, a world-class mineral district, is used to demonstrate the principle as well as the applications of methods proposed in this paper. It has been shown that fractal and multifractal models are generally applicable to modeling of mineral deposits and occurrences. Clusters of mineral deposits were identified by several methods including the power spectral analysis, singularity analysis and the eigenvalue analysis. These clusters contain most of the known mineral deposits in the Timmins and Kirkland Lake camps.

文摘The Ying-Qiong Basin is located on the northwestern margin of the South China Sea and at the junction of the South China Block and the Indochina Block.It is characterized by complex geological structures.The existing seismic data in the study area is sparse due to the lack of earthquake activities.Because of the limited source energy and poor coverage of seismic data,the knowledge of deep structures in the area,including the spatial distribution of deep faults,is incomplete.Contrarily,satellite gravity data cover the entire study area and can reveal the spatial distribution of faults.Based on the wavelet multi-scale decomposition method,the Bouguer gravity field in the Ying-Qiong Basin was decomposed and reconstructed to obtain the detailed images of the first-to sixth-order gravitational fields.By incorporating the known geological features,the gravitational field responses of the main faults in the Ying-Qiong Basin were identified in the detailed fields,and the power spectrum analysis yielded the depths of 1.4,8,15,26.5,and 39 km for the average burial depths of the bottom surfaces from the first-to fifth-order detailed fields,respectively.The four main faults in the Yinggehai Basin all have a large active depth range:fault A(No.1)is between 5 and 39 km,fault B is between 26.5 and 39 km,and faults C and D are between 15 and 39 km.However,the depth of active faults in the Qiongdongnan Basin is relatively shallow,mainly between 8 and 26.5 km.

文摘It is important to extract texture feature from the ground-base cloud image for cloud type automatic detection.In this paper,a new method is presented to capture the contour edge,texture and geometric structure of cloud images by using Contourlet and the power spectrum analysis algorithm.More abundant texture information is extracted.Cloud images can be obtained a multiscale and multidirection decomposition.The coefficient matrix from Contourlet transform of ground nephogram is calculated.The energy,mean and variance characteristics calculated from coefficient matrix are composed of the feature information.The frequency information of the data series from the feature vector values is obtained by the power spectrum analysis.Then Support Vector Machines(SVM)classifier is used to classify according to the frequency information of the trend graph of data series.It is shown that altocumulus and stratus with different texture frequencies can be effectively recognized and further subdivided the types of clouds.

文摘The signals generated by electromagnetic flow sensors used for slurry fluids are often affected by noise interference produced by interaction with the slurry itself.In this study,the power spectrum characteristics of the signal are studied,and an attempt is made to determine the relationship between the characteristics of the related noise and the velocity and concentration of the slurry fluid.Dedicated experiments are conducted and the related power spectrum curve is obtained processing the signal measured by the sensor with Matlab.Numerical simulations are also carried out in the frame of an Eulerian approach in order get additional insights into the considered problem through comparison with the experimental results.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The intensity of noise is directly proportional to the number of solid particles colliding with the electrode of the electromagnetic flow sensor per unit time,and to the square of the average velocity of the flow layer near the pipe wall.(2)With an increase in the slurry noise intensity,the power spectrum curve shifts upward in the logarithmic coordinate system(and vice versa).
文摘Objective:To investigate the relationship between the changes of electroencephalogram(EEG)power spectrum,P300 latency and amplitude at different frequency bands and the severity of depressive episode in adolescents who were hospitalized for the first time.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 126 adolescent patients with depressive episodes who were hospitalized for the first time in the Department of Children and Adolescents of Yunnan Psychiatric Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023.According to Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),the patients were divided into three groups:mild depression group(43 cases),moderate depression group(42 cases)and severe depression group(41 cases).The distribution of the 16-lead power spectrum of α,θ,and δ waves in EEG,as well as the latency and amplitude of P300,were compared among the three groups.The association between adolescent depression and its severity was analyzed.Results:(1)The EEG power distribution of the three groups was different in the frequency bands of α,θ and δ(P<0.05).There were differences in the α,θ,and δ frequency bands between mild and moderate as well as severe depressive episodes,and between moderate and severe depressive episodes in the θ and δ frequency bands.(2)P300,N2 latency and P300 amplitude:There were significant differences among the three groups(P<0.05).(3)δFP1,θF3,θC4,P300 latency and N2 latency were positively correlated with the degree of depression;P300 amplitude andα02 were negatively correlated with the degree of depression.(4)The receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)area of P300 amplitude was 0.932,and the area under the curve ofα02 was 0.776.Conclusion:The combination of resting EEG power and P300 can be used as a biomarker to assess the severity of a depressive episode in adolescents who are hospitalized for the first time and provide a new strategy for treatment.
文摘This paper presents the neutron energy spectrum in the central position of a neutron flux trap assembled in the core center of the research nuclear reactor IPEN/MB-01, obtained by an unfolding method. To this end, we have used several different types of activation foils (Au, Sc, Ti, Ni, and plates) which have been irradiated in the central position of the reactor core (setting number 203) at a reactor power level (64.57±2.91 watts). The activation foils were counted by solid-state detector HPGe (high pure germanium detector) (gamma spectrometry). The experimental data of nuclear reaction rates (saturated activity per target nucleus) and a neutron spectrum estimated by a reactor physics computer code are the main input data to get the most suitable neutron spectrum in the irradiation position obtained through SANDBP (spectrum analysis neutron detection code-version Budapest University) code: a neutron spectra unfolding code that uses an iterative adjustment method. the integral neutron flux, (2.41 ± 0.01) × 10^9 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for the thermal The adjustment resulted in (3.85 ± 0.14) × 10^9 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for neutron flux, (1.09 ±0.02) × 10^9n·cm^-2·s^-1 for intermediate neutron flux and (3.41 ± 0.02) × 10^8 n·cm^-2·s^-1 for the fast neutrons flux. These results can be used to verify and validate the nuclear reactor codes and its associated nuclear data libraries, besides, show how much effective it can be that the use of a neutron flux trap in the nuclear reactor core to increase the thermal neutron flux without increase the operation reactor power level. The thermal neutral flux increased 4.04 ± 0.21 times compared with the standard configuration of the reactor core.

文摘In order to satisfy increasingly greater demand for the performance of communication systems, a throughput efficient wireless system based on the extended binary phase shift keying (EBPSK) modulation is presented. Simultaneously, corresponding analysis of power spectra is also given with a brief process. The optimal waveform is proposed without useful information loss, by removing linear spectra presenting periodic components. On this basis, the reasonable definition of bandwidth is discussed, which indicates that the EBPSK belongs to the category of the ultra narrow band (UNB) throughput-efficient communication. Meanwhile, the modulation parameters' effects on bandwidth, transmission rate and transmission performance are analyzed. Results illustrate the validity of theoretical analysis and spectrum optimization. Results also prove that this UNB system can obtain good bit error rate (BER) performance with high spectra efficiency.

文摘The remote sensing data which are used by marine fishery forecast only can get the information of ocean surface, while Argo data can provide fishery forecast with temperature and saltinity data of deeper area. To use Argo data in cycle, we need to compute its circle to improve the quality of forecast. In 2001- 2008, the longer circle was 62.7 days and 117.5 days, and the shorter circle was 4.9 days and 9.8 days, which were obtained by power spectrum estimation. And there was an unobvious circle of 7 days. There existed big changes in observed profile data amount between years and within a year.

文摘Power spectrum and cross-wavelet transform analysis was adopted to study the time-frequency characteristics and multiscale correlations between runoff,tidal range and salinity in the Changjiang Estuary based on the runoff data collected at the Datong Station,the tidal range measured at the Baozhen Station,and the salinity at the Baogang Station from 2008 to 2009.The variations of the salinity showed significant periodicity at scales of 2-3,7-8,14-15 and 26-30 d.The correlation between the salinity and the runoff and the tidal range were found to be significantly related to shock at scales of 5-7,14-15,26-30 d and 0.5 a.The correlation between the runoff and the salinity was mainly in the same phase,while the correlation between the tidal range and the salinity was in the antiphase.Different frequency bands were related to different degrees,and their relevance increased as the resonance frequency decreased.In addition,changes of the seasonal runoff were obvious.Specifically,a point of discontinuity was reached in early June with a cycle of 7-8 d,which coincided with the periodicity of plum rains in the Changjiang-Huaihe region.High-frequency changes (8-16 d period) of the salinity corresponded to the time domain in January-April 2008,February-April 2009 and October-December 2009 and exhibited an approximately 0.5 a (184 d) long frequency oscillation.Short-period changes were found to be stronger than long-period changes.Cross-wavelet transforms for the salinity,the runoff and the tidal range revealed local features in the time domain,while the significant levels of different periodic oscillations were observed in the frequency domain.The correlation characteristics of the salinity and the runoff were significant in the 80-90 d frequency domain,indicating that the major impact of the runoff on the salinity was reflected in seasonal changes.The tidal range on the small scale of 14-15 and 30-32 d was more obvious than the runoff.

文摘The identification of the inter-electrode gap size in the high frequency group pulse micro-electrochemical machining (HGPECM) is mainly discussed. The auto-regressive(AR) model of group pulse current flowing across the cathode and the anode are created under different situations with different processing parameters and inter-electrode gap size. The AR model based on the current signals indicates that the order of the AR model is obviously different relating to the different processing conditions and the inter-electrode gap size; Moreover, it is different about the stability of the dynamic system, i.e. the white noise response of the Green's function of the dynamic system is diverse. In addition, power spectrum method is used in the analysis of the dynamic time series about the current signals with different inter-electrode gap size, the results show that there exists a strongest power spectrum peak, characteristic power spectrum(CPS), to the current signals related to the different inter-electrode gap size in the range of 0~5 kHz. Therefore, the CPS of current signals can implement the identification of the inter-electrode gap.
文摘On the basis of NOAA/CPC data of sea surface temperature anomaly in the Nifio regions during Jan. 1950 - Dec. 2003, the wavelet power spectrum of SST were studied with significance and confidence testing at different scales in this paper. It shows that the SST are provided with multi-time scales structure nested one another, and vary on scales of 2 - 7 years, 8 - 20 years and 〉30 years. The most significant variation of the warm and cold episodes is in the 4-year band of period. The power, frequency structure and confidence of the same episode are different in different Nino regions. The intensity of oscillations is increasing at low frequency bands and decreasing at high frequency bands from east to west in the Nino regions, especially after 1970.

文摘The turbulence structure in the stirred tank with a deep hollow blade(semi-ellispe) disc turbine(HEDT) was investigated by using time-resolved particle image velocimetry(TRPIV) and traditional PIV.In the stirred tank,the turbulence generated by blade passage includes the periodic components and the random turbulent ones.Traditional PIV with angle-resolved measurement and TRPIV with wavelet analysis were both used to obtain the random turbulent kinetic energy as a comparison.The wavelet analysis method was successfully used in this work to separate the random turbulent kinetic energy.The distributions of the periodic kinetic energy and the random turbulent kinetic energy were obtained.In the impeller region,the averaged random turbulent kinetic energy was about 2.6 times of the averaged periodic one.The kinetic energies at different wavelet scales from a6 to d1 were also calculated and compared.TRPIV was used to record the sequence of instantaneous velocity in the impeller stream.The evolution of the impeller stream was observed clearly and the sequence of the vorticity field was also obtained for the identification of vortices.The slope of the energy spectrum was approximately-5/3 in high frequency representing the existence of inertial subrange and some isotropic properties in stirred tank.From the power spectral density(PSD) ,one peak existed evidently,which was located at f0(blade passage frequency) generated by the blade passage.
