The stochasticity, asynchronicity, and limited-inertia characteristics of IBRs bring about challenges to grid resilience. Virtual power plants(VPPs) are emerging technologies to improve the grid resilience and advance the transformation. By judiciously aggregating geographically distributed energy resources(DERs) as individual electrical entities, VPPs can provide capacity and ancillary services to grid operations and participate in electricity wholesale markets. This paper aims to provide a concise overview of the concept and development of VPPs and the latest progresses in VPP operation, with the focus on VPP scheduling and control. Based on this overview, we identify a few potential challenges in VPP operation and discuss the opportunities of integrating the multi-agent system(MAS)-based strategy into the VPP operation to enhance its scalability, performance and resilience.展开更多
In this study,a novel residential virtual power plant(RVPP)scheduling method that leverages a gate recurrent unit(GRU)-integrated deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm is proposed.In the proposed scheme,the GRU-in...In this study,a novel residential virtual power plant(RVPP)scheduling method that leverages a gate recurrent unit(GRU)-integrated deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm is proposed.In the proposed scheme,the GRU-integrated DRL algorithm guides the RVPP to participate effectively in both the day-ahead and real-time markets,lowering the electricity purchase costs and consumption risks for end-users.The Lagrangian relaxation technique is introduced to transform the constrained Markov decision process(CMDP)into an unconstrained optimization problem,which guarantees that the constraints are strictly satisfied without determining the penalty coefficients.Furthermore,to enhance the scalability of the constrained soft actor-critic(CSAC)-based RVPP scheduling approach,a fully distributed scheduling architecture was designed to enable plug-and-play in the residential distributed energy resources(RDER).Case studies performed on the constructed RVPP scenario validated the performance of the proposed methodology in enhancing the responsiveness of the RDER to power tariffs,balancing the supply and demand of the power grid,and ensuring customer comfort.展开更多

Further, it analyzes the advantages of the multinational power interconnection from the aspects of power supply and load complementation. Finally, from the perspective of technical support and practical basis, the feasibility of interconnection between Xinjiang, Pakistan, and five Central Asian countries have been analyzed. The global water demand and supply situation is becoming increasingly severe due to water shortage and uneven distribution of water resources.The highest water demand in the energy sector is attributable to power gene...The global water demand and supply situation is becoming increasingly severe due to water shortage and uneven distribution of water resources.The highest water demand in the energy sector is attributable to power generation.With cross-country and cross-continental power grid interconnections becoming a reality,electricity trading across countries and the creation of new opportunities for re-allocation of water resources are possible.This study expands the concept of virtual water and proposes a generalized virtual water flow in an interconnected power grid system to accurately estimate water resource benefits of clean power transmission from both the production and the consumption sides.By defining the water scarcity index as a price mechanism indicator,the benefits of water resources allocation through power grid interconnections are evaluated.Taking the Africa-Asia-Europe interconnection scenario as an example,the total water saving would amount to 88.95 million m^3 by 2030 and 337.8 million m^3 by 2050.This result shows that grid interconnections could promote the development of renewable energy and expand the benefits of available water resources.展开更多

The “power” holistic approach is mainly determined in a wider social-economic, political, and environmental framework. This multidimensional and holistic approach is considered invaluable for humans/consumers, in order them to determine their capacities, priorities and perspectives for viable use of power within the above complex-structured framework. Based on Couldry's framework (2000) of media power, through in-depth interviews with media professionals, this study compares the creation of party stars, commercial stars, and talent-show stars as represented by Li Yuchun. Data show that there was few audience power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Rather, there was media power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Meanwhile, this study argues that there was audience-power influence on Li Yuchun's rise to stardom, and it provides some details about the manipulations of media institutions that were involved in the creation of this pop star. However, it is difficult to prove that audience power is the main influence on Li's stardom. The implications of her stardom and this production process on China's star system and China's state power are also discussed in this study.展开更多

Nev...Document classification is widely applied in many scientific areas and academic environments, using NLP techniques and term extraction algorithms like CValue, TfIdf, TermEx, GlossEx, Weirdness and the others like. Nevertheless, they mainly have weaknesses in extracting most important terms when input text has not been rectified grammatically, or even has non-alphabetic methodical and math or chemical notations, and cross-domain inference of terms and phrases. In this paper, we propose a novel Text-Categorization and Term-Extraction method based on human-expert choice of classified categories. Papers are the training phase substances of the proposed algorithm. They have been already labeled with some scientific pre-defined field specific categories, by a human expert, especially one with high experiences and researches and surveys in the field. Our approach thereafter extracts (concept) terms of the labeled papers of each category and assigns all to the category. Categorization of test papers is then applied based on their extracted terms and further comparing with each category’s terms. Besides, our approach will produce semantic enabled outputs that are useful for many goals such as knowledge bases and data sets complement of the Linked Data cloud and for semantic querying of them by some languages such as SparQL. Besides, further finding classified papers’ gained topic or class will be easy by using URIs contained in the ontological outputs. The experimental results, comparing LPTC with five well-known term extraction algorithms by measuring precision and recall, show that categorization effectiveness can be achieved using our approach. In other words, the method LPTC is significantly superior to CValue, TfIdf, TermEx, GlossEx and Weirdness in the target study. As well, we conclude that higher number of papers for training, even higher precision we have.展开更多
In the future fifth generation(5G) systems,non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a promising technology that can greatly enhance the network capacity compared to orthogonal multiple access(OMA) .In this paper,we pro...In the future fifth generation(5G) systems,non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a promising technology that can greatly enhance the network capacity compared to orthogonal multiple access(OMA) .In this paper,we propose a novel random access(RA) and resource allocation scheme for the coexistence of NOMA-based and OMAbased machine-to-machine(M2M) communications,which aims at improving the number of successful data packet transmissions and guaranteeing the quality of service(Qo S) (e.g.,the minimum data rate requirement) for M2 M communications.The algorithm of joint user equipment(UE) paring and power allocation is proposed for the coexisting RA(i.e.,the coexistence of NOMA-based RA and OMA-based RA) .The resource allocation for the coexisting RA is investigated,thus improving the number of successful data packet transmissions by more efficiently using the radio resources.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed RA and resource allocation scheme outperforms the conventional RA in terms of the number of successful data packet transmissions,thus is a promising technology in future M2 M communications.展开更多

AUVs depend on batteries, so their power consumption should be reduced to extend exploration time. Power for conventional marine instrument systems is incorporated in their waterproof sealing. External intermittent control of this power source until termination of exploration is challenging due to limitations imposed by the underwater environment. Thus, the AUV must have a power control system that can improve performance and maximize use of battery capacity. The authors developed such a power control system with a three-step algorithm. It automatically detects underwater operational states and can limit power, effectively decreasing power consumption by about 15%.展开更多

With the target of training talents with innovation capacity and engineering leadership, the training plan for top talents based on the demand for high-end talents in the software engineering industry is put forward, and analyses are given on significant aspects including the development of the training resource system, the screening of students and the selection of enterprises, the teaching staff construction for university-enterprise cooperation, the establishment of a management system with joint effort for talents development, and the construction of process quality guarantee mechanism. In the end, for the implementation of the training plan, it is pointed out that the university-enterprise cooperative development mechanism should be perfected, the talents development practice should be enhanced, the personalized training of students should be emphasized, and the innovative ability in practice and the engineering leadership of students should be practically improved.

文摘This paper constructs the index system of the regional division of the development stage of China's wind power resources,including the index of energy,the index of wind energy endowments and other indices.Based on principal component analysis and layered clustering analysis of these indices,and combined with the conceptual function of the development and utilization stage of the wind power,this paper divides the development and utilization stage of the wind power into four stages taking province as the basic yardstick:optimization growth stage,the rapid growth stage,the slow growth stage and the initial growth stage.In addition,this paper briefly discusses the basic strategy that should be adopted in each development stage of wind power resources.

文摘Since the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,it has provided multiple assistance for the development of the vast number of villages in China.Talents are the key to the revitalization and development of the countryside.Only when a large number of high-quality talents take root in the countryside and help the rural construction in different fields can we give full play to the role of talents in promoting rural development.This paper takes the rural areas of China as the research object,analyzes the current situation of the development of rural talents,discusses the problems existing in the development of rural human resources,and puts forward effective measures for the revitalization of rural talents,to provide a solid theoretical basis for the better development of the countryside.
文摘Nowadays, the concept of power can illuminate the nature of contestation. Indeed, it is apparent that discourse coalitions exist both within the wind sector and the riparian corridors management. In the present study, a theoretical framework for policy power analysis is presented, while a balanced European and national energy policies representation reveals the positive and negative impacts, towards which both the above two power sources may be attributed. The “power” holistic approach is mainly determined in a wider social-economic, political, and environmental framework. This multidimensional and holistic approach is considered invaluable for humans/consumers, in order them to determine their capacities, priorities and perspectives for viable use of power within the above complex-structured framework. Finally, the study adopts a balanced reassessment of the existing policies, offering tentative proposals for reducing conflicts.
文摘In China, all types of stars coexist in the country's star system: party stars, commercialized stars, and talent-show stars, which influence diverse type audience and have diverse implications. Based on Couldry's framework (2000) of media power, through in-depth interviews with media professionals, this study compares the creation of party stars, commercial stars, and talent-show stars as represented by Li Yuchun. Data show that there was few audience power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Rather, there was media power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Meanwhile, this study argues that there was audience-power influence on Li Yuchun's rise to stardom, and it provides some details about the manipulations of media institutions that were involved in the creation of this pop star. However, it is difficult to prove that audience power is the main influence on Li's stardom. The implications of her stardom and this production process on China's star system and China's state power are also discussed in this study.
文摘Document classification is widely applied in many scientific areas and academic environments, using NLP techniques and term extraction algorithms like CValue, TfIdf, TermEx, GlossEx, Weirdness and the others like. Nevertheless, they mainly have weaknesses in extracting most important terms when input text has not been rectified grammatically, or even has non-alphabetic methodical and math or chemical notations, and cross-domain inference of terms and phrases. In this paper, we propose a novel Text-Categorization and Term-Extraction method based on human-expert choice of classified categories. Papers are the training phase substances of the proposed algorithm. They have been already labeled with some scientific pre-defined field specific categories, by a human expert, especially one with high experiences and researches and surveys in the field. Our approach thereafter extracts (concept) terms of the labeled papers of each category and assigns all to the category. Categorization of test papers is then applied based on their extracted terms and further comparing with each category’s terms. Besides, our approach will produce semantic enabled outputs that are useful for many goals such as knowledge bases and data sets complement of the Linked Data cloud and for semantic querying of them by some languages such as SparQL. Besides, further finding classified papers’ gained topic or class will be easy by using URIs contained in the ontological outputs. The experimental results, comparing LPTC with five well-known term extraction algorithms by measuring precision and recall, show that categorization effectiveness can be achieved using our approach. In other words, the method LPTC is significantly superior to CValue, TfIdf, TermEx, GlossEx and Weirdness in the target study. As well, we conclude that higher number of papers for training, even higher precision we have.

文摘In the future fifth generation(5G) systems,non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a promising technology that can greatly enhance the network capacity compared to orthogonal multiple access(OMA) .In this paper,we propose a novel random access(RA) and resource allocation scheme for the coexistence of NOMA-based and OMAbased machine-to-machine(M2M) communications,which aims at improving the number of successful data packet transmissions and guaranteeing the quality of service(Qo S) (e.g.,the minimum data rate requirement) for M2 M communications.The algorithm of joint user equipment(UE) paring and power allocation is proposed for the coexisting RA(i.e.,the coexistence of NOMA-based RA and OMA-based RA) .The resource allocation for the coexisting RA is investigated,thus improving the number of successful data packet transmissions by more efficiently using the radio resources.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed RA and resource allocation scheme outperforms the conventional RA in terms of the number of successful data packet transmissions,thus is a promising technology in future M2 M communications.
文摘Valuable mineral resources are widely distributed throughout the seabed. autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) are preferable to remotely-operated vehicles (ROVs) when probing for such mineral resources as the extensive exploration area makes it difficult to maintain contact with operators. AUVs depend on batteries, so their power consumption should be reduced to extend exploration time. Power for conventional marine instrument systems is incorporated in their waterproof sealing. External intermittent control of this power source until termination of exploration is challenging due to limitations imposed by the underwater environment. Thus, the AUV must have a power control system that can improve performance and maximize use of battery capacity. The authors developed such a power control system with a three-step algorithm. It automatically detects underwater operational states and can limit power, effectively decreasing power consumption by about 15%.

Red culture is marked by the great achievements made by the Communist Party of China in leading the people in the revolutionary struggle, and is carried by the commemorative landmark formed in the process of building a successful career. Combining rich red cultural resources with ideological and political work in colleges and universities is conducive to the inheritance of red culture and the healthy development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. For college students, thorough theory and perfect logic are indeed the necessary means to accept ideology indoctrination. Through the analysis of the connotation and value of red culture, this paper proposes to innovate ideological and political education, and integrate red culture into college ideological and political education to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
