In this paper,a 13-node pyramid spline element is derived by using the tetrahedron volume coordinates and the B-net method,which achieves the second order completeness in Cartesian coordinates.Some appropriate example...In this paper,a 13-node pyramid spline element is derived by using the tetrahedron volume coordinates and the B-net method,which achieves the second order completeness in Cartesian coordinates.Some appropriate examples were employed to evaluate the performance of the proposed element.The numerical results show that the spline element has much better performance compared with the isoparametric serendipity element Q20 and its degenerate pyramid element P13 especially when mesh is distorted,and it is comparable to the Lagrange element Q27.It has been demonstrated that the spline finite element method is an efficient tool for developing high accuracy elements.展开更多

Atomic charge dist...The title compound of isonicotinato lead(Ⅱ) [Pb(C5H4NCOO)2] has been optimized at B3LYP/LANL2DZ level of theory and calculated results show that the lead(Ⅱ) ion adopts 4-coordinate geometry. Atomic charge distributions indicate that during forming the title compound, each isonicotinic acid ion transfers -0.452 e to lead(Ⅱ) ion. The electronic spectra calculations show that there exist two absorption bands and the electronic transitions are mainly derived from the contribution of intraligand π→π^* transition and ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) transition. The thermodynamic properties of the title compound at different temperatures have been calculated and corresponding relations between property and temperature have also been obtained. The calculation of the second order optical nonlinearity was carried out, and the molecular hyperpolarizability was 3.62365^*10^-30 esu.展开更多

This paper presents an invest...In classical study on generalized viscoelastic fluid, the momentum equation was derived by considering the fractional constitutive model, while the energy equation was ignored its effect. This paper presents an investigation for the magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) flow and heat transfer of an incompressible generalized Burgers' fluid due to an exponential accelerating plate with the effect of the second order velocity slip. The energy equation and momentum equation are coupled by the fractional Burgers' fluid constitutive model. Numerical solutions for velocity, temperature and shear stress are obtained using the modified implicit finite difference method combined with the G1-algorithm,whose validity is confirmed by the comparison with the analytical solution. Our results show that the influences of the fractional parameters α and β on the flow are opposite each other, which is just like the effects of the two parameters on the temperature. Moreover, the impact trends of the relaxation time λ_1 and retardation time λ_3 on the velocity are opposite each other. Increasing the boundary parameter will promote the temperature, but has little effect on the temperature boundary layer thickness.展开更多
