Preparedness training programs improved the emergency response and crucial outcomes among nursing students:a scoping review

Objective:The study aims to review and discuss the outcomes of emergency preparedness training programs among nursing students.Methods:A scoping review was conducted based on the guidelines of Arskey and O’Malley.Databases through PubMed,Science Direct,and Google Scholar were used to obtain the relevant articles within the scoping review.Results:The researchers found 1175 articles.After manual review,28 articles were identified and assessed.The review reported that the emergency preparedness training program significantly affects preparedness,knowledge,performance,self-efficacy,learning motivation,self-confidence,satisfaction,critical decision-making,and problem-solving.Conclusions:Emergency training effectively increases knowledge,skills,confidence,satisfaction,and team performance.

Chinese University Students’Self-evaluation in Core Competences for the 21st Century

This study aimed to explore university students’perceptions on the possession of core competencies for the 21st century.A crosssectional survey research using a self-report questionnaire involving 40 Likert-type items was used to collect data from 5,042 university students in China who voluntarily participated.Analysis with Rasch rating scale model found the data fitted the Rasch model well.The results showed that Chinese university students considered themselves as having acquired most of the competencies to some extent,especially in Character and Civic Literacy and Interpersonal Communication,but less so in Global and International Perspective and Creativity and Problem Solving.

The Enlightenment of Cooper’s Learning Circle Theory to the Construction of College Student Team

At the present stage of development,colleges and universities in the training of students and management of student team construction there are some problems,although many colleges and universities to take the corresponding management plan,effectively improve the quality of students,but educators still need to face how to cultivate a mature student team in a short time.In this regard,combining Dewey’s“experiential learning”and Cooper’s experiential learning theory,the paper applies experiential learning theory and practice to the training of college student team construction,aiming at improving the overall quality of the student team effectively,so as to promote the comprehensive development of students.

Effective Strategies for Improving Primary School Students’ English Reading Skills from the Perspective of Core Literacy

Primary education,guided by the cultivation of disciplinary core literacy,places a greater emphasis on students’autonomy and is committed to promoting students’all-round development.English reading is one of the main ways for students to acquire English knowledge.Although it is a fundamental learning point in English teaching,it poses challenges to English teaching in primary schools.This paper makes a detailed analysis of the current state of English reading education for primary school students from the perspective of core literacy,and then proposes effective strategies for improving students’English reading skills.

Multidimensional Rasch Analysis of Twentyfirst Century Core Competencies--Perspective of University Students in China

This study aimed to explore university students'perceptions on the importance of core competencies for the 21st century.A crosssectional survey research using a self-report questionnaire involving 48 Likert-type items was used to collect data from 869 university students in China who voluntarily participated.Multidimensional analysis with Rasch rating scale model found the data fitted the Rasch model well.The results showed that Chinese university students placed strong importance on the majority of competencies listed in the modified questionnaire of 21st Century Core Competencies for Higher Education,especially in competence groups of Interpersonal Communication and Character and Civic Literacy but less so in those of Creativity and Problem Solving and Global and International Perspective.

Parental Psychological Control and Internet Gaming Disorder Tendency:A Moderated Mediation Model of Core Self-Evaluation and Intentional Self-Regulation

Internet gaming disorder(IGD)among junior high school students is an increasingly prominent mental health concern.It is important to look for influences behind internet gaming disorder tendency(IGDT)in the junior high school student population.The present study aimed to reveal the explanatory mechanisms underlying the association between parental psychological control(PPC)and internet gaming disorder tendency among junior high school students by testing the mediating role of core self-evaluation(CSE)and the moderating role of intentional self-regulation(ISR).Participants in present study were 735 Chinese junior high school students who completed offline self-report questionnaires on parental psychological control,core self-evaluation,intentional self-regulation,and Internet gaming disorder tendency.Analyses were conducted via mediation and moderated mediation.The results showed that:(1)Parental psychological control was positively related to junior high school students’Internet gaming disorder tendency.Core self-evaluation,and intentional self-regulation were negatively related to junior high school students’Internet gaming disorder tendency,respectively.(2)Core self-evaluation partially mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and junior high school students’Internet gaming disorder tendency.(3)Intentional self-regulation moderated the association between parental psychological control and Internet gaming disorder tendency,as well as the relationships between parental psychological control and core self-evaluation and core self-evaluation and Internet gaming disorder tendency in the mediated model.Based on these findings,we believe that there is a need to weaken parental psychological control,strengthen junior high school students’core self-evaluation and intentional self-regulation,and to recognize the important role of parents as well as their children’s personal positive traits in the healthy development of junior high school students.

Research on the cultivation path of college students'core values from the perspective of tea culture

The cultivation of college students'core values is the important content of college education and the key to ensure the positive development of college students.The cultivation of college students'core values is characterized by complexity and teachers can guide college students'core values according to tea culture from the perspective of tea culture.Tea culture contains rich cultural connotation,which conforms to the cultivation concept of core values of college students,and this cultivation process is innovative,which is conducive to the healthy growth of college students.From the perspective of tea culture,the cultivation path of college students'core values can be expanded,at the same time,college students can carry forward and inherit tea culture.Based on this article,the cultivation characteristics of college students'core values from the perspective of tea culture are analyzed,and the cultivation path of college students'core values is studied in combination with the cultivation requirements of core values.

Exploration of Curriculum Ideology and Politics Integrating Medical Humanities Cultivation Model to Enhance Medical Core Values

Purpose:To explore the application effect of the cultivation mode of Curriculum Ideology and Political Integration of Medical Humanities to enhance the core values of medicine in the clinical internship stage of medical students.Methods:Students in the clinical internship stage of the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College were selected,and a total of 156 students in one random class in each grade were taken as the observation group and received the integration cultivation mode;148 students were taken as the control group and employed the traditional mode.The teaching effect of interns in the two groups was analyzed.Results:The teaching performance of students in both groups after clinical internship teaching was improved compared with that before admission;the teaching performance,teaching effect,teaching evaluation,and teaching satisfaction of the observation group were higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:The integration of the medical humanities training model with curriculum ideology and politics in the clinical internship of medical students is conducive to the improvement of teaching performance,teaching evaluation,teaching satisfaction of teachers and students,and the development and improvement of core values of medical students,which is of good value for teaching application.

An initial study of information seeking behavior of researchers as faculty/student team members

Purpose:This study was carried out to uncover the characteristics of information seeking behavior of researchers as faculty/student team members.Design/methodology/approach:An inventory encompassing 6 dimensions of information seeking behavior was developed:Information awareness,information acquisition,information evaluation,information organization and management,information utilization and information ethics.Data was collected on 306 respondents from 52 faculty/student teams in Central South University in China and analyzed using SPSS 18.0 software.Findings:Significant differences were found among researchers with different genders in information awareness and in different academic disciplines in information acquisition and information utilization.The survey shows the characteristics of information seeking behavior of different gender groups and different teams:1) male participants got higher scores in all of the 6 dimensions of information seeking behavior;2) small teams performed best,followed by middle-sized teams and large teams;3) faculty/doctoral student teams possessed better information seeking skills than faculty/master’s student teams or faculty/doctoral and master’s student teams:4) medical teams achieved the highest level in all of the 6 dimensions of information seeking behavior,whereas natural science teams the lowest level.Medical and engineering teams were rated higher than other teams in information acquisition and information utilization.Research limitations:The small population size and doctoral students accounting for only a small portion of the respondents in the sample limit the generalization of our findings.Practical implications:The findings of this study have some implications for research and practice,especially for educational institutions,library science and information literacy training.Originality/value:This paper is the first to describe and analyze the characteristics of information seeking behavior of researchers as faculty/student team members.

目的:研究TBL教学在八年制学生传染病教学中的应用成效及存在的问题,为改进和推广该教学方法提供参考依据。方法:对2006级八年制学生部分理论课采用TBL教学,进行闭卷考试及问卷调查。结论:与传统教学模式相比,TBL教学对提高学生学习兴趣,培养学分分析问题、解决问题、沟通能力和团队协作精神以及提高考试成绩均有帮助。

推动人工智能向善发展:教育与人工智能共同的责任

人工智能的迅速发展正深刻改变人类的生产方式、生活方式和学习方式,对教育产生深度影响,而现阶段生成式人工智能工具在教育领域广泛应用,给教育带来新的道德伦理问题。该文首先从人工智能快速发展引发更加复杂的道德伦理问题和人工智能道德伦理是人类道德伦理价值体系新组成两方面给出人工智能延展人类道德伦理范围。再从人工智能教育应用伦理风险、教育人工智能伦理治理现状、教育人工智能伦理需解决问题等三个层面阐述了教育人工智能应用伦理风险与治理。再次从核心素养培养、规范应用监管、道德伦理框架、技术规范研制等四个维度给出人工智能向善发展的建设路线。最后,给出五条发展建议:加强顶层设计,系统规划总体框架;重视育人为本,创新发展人工智能课程;遵循治理原则,促进技术向善赋能;明确价值准则,助力人机相融共进;加快标准制定,规范教育人工智能实践。以期推动人工智能向善发展,赋能、赋智教育,促进教育数字化转型,构筑智能时代的人类命运共同体。

加强高职学生核心素养培育是提升人才培养质量的重要手段。运用NVivo软件对305名优秀高职学生案例文本质性分析发现,技术技能应用、积极生活态度、担当社会责任是优秀高职学生核心素养的共同特征。基于此,高职学生核心素养的培育策略为:深化劳动意识,贯通技术技能的提升通道;优化自我管理,生成个体成长的内生动力;细化责任担当,筑牢家国情怀的认同纽带;强化人文底蕴,夯实终身发展的文化精神。
