The paper presents the comparative study on numerical methods of Euler method,Improved Euler method and fourth-order Runge-Kutta method for solving the engineering problems and applications.The three proposed methods are quite efficient and practically well suited for solving the unknown engineering problems.This paper aims to enhance the teaching and learning quality of teachers and students for various levels.At each point of the interval,the value of y is calculated and compared with its exact value at that point.The next interesting point is the observation of error from those methods.Error in the value of y is the difference between calculated and exact value.A mathematical equation which relates various functions with its derivatives is known as a differential equation.It is a popular field of mathematics because of its application to real-world problems.To calculate the exact values,the approximate values and the errors,the numerical tool such as MATLAB is appropriate for observing the results.This paper mainly concentrates on identifying the method which provides more accurate results.Then the analytical results and calculates their corresponding error were compared in details.The minimum error directly reflected to realize the best method from different numerical methods.According to the analyses from those three approaches,we observed that only the error is nominal for the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. 展开更多

Objective: To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method in clinical skills teaching of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine. Methods: The study used the experimental control method. The study lasted from September to November 2022. The subjects of this study were 49 students of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine from grades 2020, 2021 and 2022 of Dazhou integrated TCM & Western Medicine Hospital. They were randomly divided into experiment group (25) and control group (24). The experiment group adopted flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method, and the control group adopted traditional teaching method. The teaching content was 4 basic clinical skill projects, including four diagnoses of traditional Chinese Medicine, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dressing change procedure, acupuncture and massage. The evaluation method was carried out by comparing the students’ performance and a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the students’ evaluation of the teaching method. Results: The test scores of total scores in the experimental group (90.12 ± 5.89) were all higher than those in the control group (81.47 ± 7.96) (t = 4.53, P P Conclusions: The teaching process of the flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method is conducive to improving the efficiency of classroom teaching, cultivating students’ self-learning ability, and enhancing students’ willingness to learn. 展开更多

Theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) is a very powerful tool in helping to solve difficult technical problems encountered in the design process. Introducing QFD and TRIZ into the conceptual design of the pumping unit combines advantages of these two theories, therefore meeting different demands of different users. It can tell us “What should we do it” with QFD and “How should we do it” with TRIZ. This study aims to explore the effect of project-based teaching methods on improving students’ abilities in normal universities. This study delves into the practice teaching system based on ability training implemented in normal universities, examining the application of this teaching model in teacher education and the potential challenges it may encounter. Our case study reveals that the Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach can effectively transform students from passive recipients of knowledge into active problem solvers, thereby enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. However, challenges do exist, including ensuring active participation from all students, providing equal opportunities for each student to develop and showcase their abilities, and completing complex projects within a limited timeframe. Therefore, teachers may need to adjust their teaching strategies, and schools need to provide more resources and support. These adjustments can help the practice teaching system based on ability training better serve teacher education and offer students a higher-quality educational experience. 展开更多

Thinking Fast and Slow in Computer Problem Solving

Research in spreadsheet management proved that the overuse of slow thinking, rather than fast thinking, is the primary source of erroneous end-user computing. However, we found that the reality is not that simple. To view end-user computing in its full complexity, we launched a project to investigate end-user education, training, support, activities, and computer problem solving. In this project we also set up the base and mathability-extended typology of computer problem solving approaches, where quantitative values are assigned to the different problem solving methods and activities. In this paper we present the results of our analyses of teaching materials collected in different languages from all over the world and our findings considering the different problem solving approaches, set in the frame of different thinking modes, the characteristics of expert teachers, and the meaning system model of teaching approaches. Based on our research, we argue that the proportions of fast and slow thinking and most importantly their manifestation are responsible for erroneous end-user activities. Applying the five-point mathability scale of computer problem solving, we recognized slow thinking activities on both tails and one fast thinking approach between them. The low mathability slow thinking activities, where surface navigation and language details are focused on, are widely accepted in end-user computing. The high mathability slow thinking problem solving activities, where the utilization of concept based approaches and schema construction take place, is hardly detectable in end-user activities. Instead of building up knowledge which requires slow thinking and then using the tools with fast thinking, end-users use up their slow thinking in aimless wandering in huge programs, making wrong decisions based on their untrained, clueless intuition, and distributing erroneous end-user documents. We also found that the dominance of low mathability slow thinking activities has its roots in the education system and through this we point out that we are in great need of expert teachers and institutions and their widely accepted approaches and methods. 展开更多

目的将基于问题的学习(problem based learning,PBL)联合优化情景模拟教学模式(improving simulation instructional methods,iSIM)应用于产儿科团队合作培训,探讨该教学模式在产儿科对临床医学本科实习医师的团队合作能力、新生儿急救... 目的将基于问题的学习(problem based learning,PBL)联合优化情景模拟教学模式(improving simulation instructional methods,iSIM)应用于产儿科团队合作培训,探讨该教学模式在产儿科对临床医学本科实习医师的团队合作能力、新生儿急救实践技能和学生对教学模式的满意度的影响。方法将2022年7月—2023年6月在中山市人民医院产科和新生儿科轮转的四年级实习医师共72人,按工号末位奇偶数随机分为试验组(n=36)和对照组(n=36)。两组均实行小组教学,每6人为一个小组。所有人员前期均接受产科危重症、新生儿复苏的理论培训。其中,对照组采用传统授课+操作示范的教学模式;试验组采用PBL+iSIM情景模拟教学模式,期间穿插标准家属进行医患沟通,试验组和对照组每1个小组6个实习医师,利用Excel现场随机抽签确定所演练的角色分工。教学结束后比较两组实习医师理论、操作考核成绩、医患沟通能力和学生的满意度,并用团队合作评价工具(CSAT)进行评价,应用统计学方法,分析并评估PBL+iSIM情景模拟教学模式在产儿科团体合作培训与传统的教学模式培训教学效果差异。结果两组实习医师除了理论成绩和个人准备工作项目得分差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)外,操作考核成绩、医患沟通能力、学生的满意度以及CSAT评价指标总分和其他项目的组间差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05),结果提示PBL联合iSIM情景模拟教学模式优于传统的教学模式。结论PBL联合iSIM情景模拟教学模式应用在临床本科实习生的产儿科合作项目中有较大的优势,有利于提高临床医学本科实习生对产科和新生儿急救技能的掌握水平,提高教学效果和教学质量。 展开更多

目的探讨问题模块教学在耳鼻咽喉专业培训中的效果。方法选取2021年9月至2022年9月北京大学第三医院耳鼻喉科15名进行规范化培训的住院医师及专科医师为研究对象,所有医师按照培养计划,进行耳科、鼻科、咽喉头颈的轮转。传统的教学方法... 目的探讨问题模块教学在耳鼻咽喉专业培训中的效果。方法选取2021年9月至2022年9月北京大学第三医院耳鼻喉科15名进行规范化培训的住院医师及专科医师为研究对象,所有医师按照培养计划,进行耳科、鼻科、咽喉头颈的轮转。传统的教学方法,采用教学查房、住院医师小讲课、疑难病例讨论等形式,在此基础上,引入新的教学法采用问题模块教学的方式进行。首先通过相关知识点的整合,梳理汇总出20个临床常见“问题”及相关参考资源;然后在日常的教学查房、小讲课、实景模拟等多种教学活动中进行问题的讨论,培训6个月后通过出科考核检测学生的学习效果。比较培训后学生理论考核、技能考核成绩,以及学生在疾病认识、学习应用能力、思维能力及沟通交流能力4个方面的评估成绩。结果培训后,所有研究对象理论考核成绩和多站式技能考核成绩均高于培训前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);培训后,所有研究对象的疾病认识、学习能力、疾病思维能力及沟通交流能力评分均高于培训前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论在耳鼻喉科专业医学生和住院医师中开展问题模块化教学,可以提高学生的学习能力和学习效果,可进一步在临床教学中应用。 展开更多

目的探讨适合急诊预检分诊岗位护理实习的带教方法。方法随机选取2022年1—8月于广州医科大学附属第一医院、广州医科大学附属第二医院、广州医科大学附属第三医院、广州市第一人民医院、广东省人民医院等多家三甲医院急诊科实习的112... 目的探讨适合急诊预检分诊岗位护理实习的带教方法。方法随机选取2022年1—8月于广州医科大学附属第一医院、广州医科大学附属第二医院、广州医科大学附属第三医院、广州市第一人民医院、广东省人民医院等多家三甲医院急诊科实习的112名护理学生进行问卷调查,内容包括一般资料、急诊预检分诊岗位护理实习教学方法调查。结果参与调查的护生中,79名护生(70.5%)实习前已参加过急诊培训,102名(91.1%)护生认为非常有必要学习预检分诊知识,72名(64.3%)护生对学习预检分诊知识及技能非常有兴趣,105名护生(93.8%)自愿安排时间学习预检分诊知识。分别对急诊预检分诊岗位实习教学方法进行对比分析,排名最高的3种教学方法依次为情景教学法、以问题为基础的教学法(problem-basedlearning,PLB)、传统教授法。在校护生对护理实习教学方法的选择构成比比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论护生对急诊预检分诊岗位实习需求较高,更加倾向选择能提高其实践能力、理论与临床结合能力的实习带教方法。情景教学方法在本研究中的分值最高,在急诊预检分诊实习带教中可灵活使用。 展开更多

目的探讨以问题为中心的教学方式(problem-based learning,PBL)结合网络资源教学法在耳鼻咽喉头颈外科住院医师规范化培训中的应用。方法选取2018年9月至2022年9月在新疆维吾尔自治区人民医院耳鼻喉诊疗中心进行住院医师规范化培训的40... 目的探讨以问题为中心的教学方式(problem-based learning,PBL)结合网络资源教学法在耳鼻咽喉头颈外科住院医师规范化培训中的应用。方法选取2018年9月至2022年9月在新疆维吾尔自治区人民医院耳鼻喉诊疗中心进行住院医师规范化培训的40名学生,分为两组。20级及21级的23名学生设为研究组,采用PBL结合网络资源教学方法;18级及19级的17名学生设为对照组,采用传统式教学法。培训后对学生进行理论考试、实践技能考试及满意度问卷调查。结果研究组学生的理论成绩为(89.13±3.45)分、实践技能成绩为(92.91±2.66)分及总成绩为(90.81±2.62)分,均高于对照组(85.71±4.37、89.94±2.33、87.94±2.47)分,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。满意度调查结果显示,研究组学生对教学方式的满意度,所学知识的掌握程度,学习兴趣的提高以及自学能力的提高均高于对照组。差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论PBL结合网络资源教学法在耳鼻咽喉头颈外科住院医师规范化培训中可有效提高学生积极性及成绩。 展开更多
