Efficiency of Managers as Role Models:A Social Learning Theory Perspective

This systematic literature review aimed to analyze and synthesize studies that indicated the importance of behavioral observation in the organizational context.Based on Social Learning Theory and by considering relevant recent findings and theories,the impact of managers as role models for employees is researched and analyzed.The importance of this topic is to determine ways that learning and enhancing performance in the workplace can be applied for people management development.The literature for theory was numerous,however studies on the particular topic were limited and not expanded in the organizational context.The key message of this review is that the impact of managers and leaders can be positive and progressive both for the employees and for the organization.

Resolving the“Matteo Ricci Puzzle”:Top-Level Design of the Grand Canal of China Based on the Ternary Leadership Theory

Guided by the ternary leadership theory from the perspective of social psychology,this paper explores the impacts of authoritarian,benevolent,and moral leadership on the top design of the Grand Canal of China in terms of its water management practice,while providing reference for resolving the“Matteo Ricci Puzzle”.The research findings are threefold:first,authoritarian as it is,the central government of China formulates relevant laws and regulations to provide legal system insurance for the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt,thus providing the blueprint for constructing the“bright cultural belt,green ecological belt and colorful tourism belt of the Grand Canal”.Second,led by the Central Government,sticking to benevolent and moral leadership,China advocates scientific water management concepts and methods,and gives long-term and comprehensive care to the well-being of the people along the banks of the Grand Canal.Finally,the top-level design of the Grand Canal of China is based on the ternary leadership theory rooted in social psychology and has formulated a set of properly-scheduled,reasonably-coordinated,and flexibly-operated management system for the fundamental interests of the people and long-term goals of the country.

An Analysis of the Readers' Roles in the Construction of Meaning in John Donne's The Flea under Reader-Oriented Theory

Among the sundry studies in China on John Donne's The Flea,there has been none done from the perspective of Reader-Oriented Theory to probe into the readers' roles in the construction of meaning.The present article under Wolfgang Iser's theories,in a further pursuit of the expansion of the gestalt of such studies on the poem,aims at exploring the readers' active roles in complementing,completing and recreating the textual meaning,and differentiating the implied reader and the actual reader through the poem as well as attempting to fulfill the construction of the reading cognitive model through the interpretation of the conceit the flea.

Erratum to “Is Alzheimer’s Disease an Adaptability Disorder? What Role Does Happiness Have in Treatment, Management and Prevention” [World Journal of Neuroscience 5 (2015) 180-188]

A case presentation indicating the importance of “happiness” in childhood causing memory block until the patent presented with probable mixed vascular and neurodegenerative memory loss at 60 years of age is presented to highlight the role of emotional factors in causing the disease. The question of whether Alzheimer’s disease is an adaptability disorder is raised, given the patient blocked out her memory of her childhood experience. The importance of “happiness” as a treatment goal raises issues of advocacy and Guardianship as well as capacity, which is addressed by actual case reference and court action in defence of the patient’s rights to have their wishes respected and observed. Functional mental capacity assessment, using the Functional Mental State Measure (FMSM) gives a greater indication of neuronal reserve than standard cognitive testing, as it helps to unravel the dilemma associated with pure cognitive assessment in Alzheimer’s Disease as well as vascular dementia patients and patients who, despite retained and intact functional capacity and ability to express their wishes, i.e. “best interest”, are “wrongly” placed under Guardianship. A General Systems approach, which recognises functional interaction as optimal and withdrawal or inadequate and/or inappropriate response as not, provides further understanding of the relationship between emotional factors, memory and neurodegenerative (Alzheimer’s) disease.

Large Power Transformer Fault Diagnosis and Prognostic Based on DBNC and D-S Evidence Theory

Power transformer is a core equipment of power system, which undertakes the important functions of power transmission and transformation, and its safe and stable operation has great significance to the normal operation of the whole power system. Due to the complex structure of the transformer, the use of single information for condition-based maintenance (CBM) has certain limitations, with the help of advanced sensor monitoring and information fusion technology, multi-source information is applied to the prognostic and health management (PHM) of power transformer, which is an important way to realize the CBM of power transformer. This paper presents a method which combine deep belief network classifier (DBNC) and D-S evidence theory, and it is applied to the PHM of the large power transformer. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a high correct rate of fault diagnosis for the power transformer with a large number of multi-source data.

The Evolution of McGregor’s X and Y Theory in the Contemporary Organizational Settings:A Systematic Literature Review

Motivation and employee behavior have been characterized as strong factors for employee job performance.McGregor’s theory is one of the most recognized and influential theories that perfectly explains the relationship between those factors and focuses on management and organizational behavior.Specifically,this theory emphasizes that employees are characterized as Type X or Type Y,and motivation is achieved in different ways according to the type.This paper was conducted to address important areas of McGregor’s theory,to discuss how the theory is applied in the workplace,and to elaborate on how recent studies have assembled scientific valid instruments to evaluate X and Y employee behaviors and employee performance.Recommendations for future research and applications will be addressed too.

Disaster and Nurse’s Role

India is vulnerable to a large number of disasters.More than 58.6%of the landmass is prone to earthquakes of moderate to high intensity;over 40 million hectares(12%)of its land is prone to floods and river erosion;close to 5.700 km,out of the 7.516 km long coastline is prone to cyclones and tsunamis;68%of its cultivable area is vulnerable to droughts;and,its hilly areas are at risk from landslides and avalanches.The WHO defines disaster as any occurrence that causes damage,ecological disruption,loss of human life,deterioration of health,and health services,on a scale sufficient to warrant an extraordinary response from outside the affected community or area.Roles of nurse during disaster management include to determine the magnitude of the event,define and understand the health needs of the affected groups,prepare the priorities and objectives,identify actual and potential public health problems at the earliest,and estimate resources needed to respond to the needs identified.

Reflections on English Classroom Teaching Management

This thesis makes a preliminary probe into the present English classroom teaching in China.The problem of classroom management,accompanied by classroom teaching,has long existed in the teaching field,and has become increasingly complicated with the social development.This paper studies the problem from the aspects of theoretical foundations,the management in language classroom,suitable English teaching for Chinese students and so on.

Robust Resource Management Control for CO2 Emission and Reduction of Greenhouse Effect: Stochastic Game Approach

With the increasingly severe global warming, investments in clean technology, reforestation and political action have been studied to reduce CO2 emission. In this study, a nonlinear stochastic model is proposed to describe the dynamics of CO2 emission with control inputs: clean technology, reforestation and carbon tax, under stochastic uncertainties. For the efficient resources management, a robust tracking control is designed to force resources tracking a desired reference output. The worst-case effect of stochastic parametric fluctuations, external disturbances and uncertain initial conditions on the tracking performance is considered and minimized from the dynamic game theory perspective. This stochastic game problem, in which one player (stochastic uncertainty) maximizes the tracking error and another player (control input) minimizes the tracking error, could be equivalent to a robust minimax tracking problem. To avoid solving the HJI, a fuzzy model is proposed to approximate the nonlinear CO2 emission model. Then the nonlinear stochastic game problem could be easily solved by fuzzy stochastic game approach via LMI technique.

数据跨境流动安全管理协同研究

[目的/意义]数据跨境流动推动了数字经济发展和国际交流合作,探索数据跨境流动安全管理协同问题,有利于维护数据安全和国家安全,促进数据利用体系与能力建设。[方法/过程]运用Nvivo软件,分析我国数据跨境流动安全管理协同存在的问题与产生的原因,基于协同理论和霍尔三维模型,构建数据跨境流动安全管理协同三维模型。[结果/结论]构建以组织协同机制、法制协同机制和资源协同机制3个子机制构成的数据跨境流动安全管理协同机制,并从知识共享、技术实力、文化环境3方面提出数据跨境流动安全管理协同机制运行保障措施,实现数据跨境流动安全管理协同效果。

领导-成员交换组合对追随力的影响--传统性和感知人力资源管理强度的调节作用

随着员工地位提升,员工追随力的激发成为组织关心的议题.从员工和领导对彼此关系质量(LMX)感知存在不对等的现象入手,基于角色理论,本研究构建了员工和领导的LMX组合对追随力影响的理论模型并考察了传统性和感知人力资源管理强度的边界作用.通过收集75位领导和350位员工的配对样本数据,并进行潜在剖面分析、多项式回归和响应面分析,研究发现:员工和领导之间存在四种LMX组合.具体来说,“高-高”组合比“低-低”组合更容易激发追随力;“高-低”组合比“低-高”组合更容易激发追随力.同时,LMX不同组合与追随力之间的关系也受到传统性和感知人力资源管理强度的调节.具体来说,高传统性下,“高-高”组合和追随力之间的关系与“低-低”组合相比得到了增强,“低-高”组合和追随力之间的关系与“高-低”组合相比得到了增强;高感知人力资源管理强度下,“低-低”组合和追随力之间的关系与“高-高”组合相比得到了增强,“高-低”组合和追随力之间的关系与“低-高”组合相比得到了增强.研究深化了LMX组合对追随力产生的差异影响及其边界作用,为解决员工和领导关系不对等问题提供了理论依据和实证支持.

The Role of Teachers’Apperception in Herbart’s Theory for Chinese Teaching in Shenzhen Primary Schools of China

This paper deeply analyzes the practical application of Herbart’s educational concept in contemporary education and teaching,especially its guiding significance to the primary school Chinese classroom in Shenzhen area.Herbart proposed that teachers should play a key role in students’cognitive process,that is,help students better understand and master new knowledge by combining it with existing knowledge.The survey results show that although teachers have some understanding of Herbart’s educational philosophy,it is not widely used in the concrete teaching process.However,the study also shows that there is a positive relationship between Herbart’s theory and students’academic performance,indicating that it plays an important role in improving students’interest and engagement in learning.The research also reveals the differences between educational concepts and practices,as well as the uneven distribution of educational resources,and puts forward measures to alleviate these contradictions,such as strengthening teacher training,improving teaching methods,and emphasizing moral education.At the same time,the study also highlights the critical role of teachers in promoting knowledge integration,arousing learning enthusiasm,shaping students’moral character,and promoting personal and professional growth.

基于角色权限管理的B/S与C/S模式相结合的教务管理系统安全体系的研究与设计

阐述了目前高校教务管理系统存在的各种安全问题,综合分析各种安全问题出现的原因,论证了建立教务管理系统安全体系的必要性.分析目前比较常用的B/S模式与C/S模式的优缺点,并针对高校教务管理系统的特殊性,提出基于B/S与C/S模式相结合的高校教务管理系统模型,弥补二者单独应用所存在的缺点与不足.同时,为了避免由于服务器配置不当,或者Web设计代码存在缺陷而使系统处于风险中,又在该模型基础上引入角色权限管理的机制,把教务管理的工作结构通过角色映射到系统中,实现系统权限与角色对应,而不是用户本身,最终设计了基于RBAC的B/S与C/S模式相结合的教务管理系统安全体系模型,从而使教务管理系统中信息的安全性得到了保障,同时也保证了系统安全、稳定、快捷的运行.

B/S模式的电厂耗差分析系统权限管理的实现

采用ASP.NET技术,应用用户/岗位角色/权限的模型,实现了B/S模式的电厂耗差分析系统权限管理。阐述了权限管理的设计原则和设计方法、权限管理的数据库设计、用户授权的实现和用户权限控制的实现。在开发过程中,使用C#语言,开发了权限管理组件,提高了开发效率,简化了权限管理,用户使用灵活方便。

高层管理团队数字知识与企业数字化转型——基于角色理论视角

文章基于角色理论视角,借助2010—2020年我国上市公司高管履历数据,分析了高层管理团队数字知识对企业数字化转型的影响,重点讨论了两者的边界条件。研究表明:数字知识与企业数字化转型之间呈正相关关系;在行为整合框架下,CEO职业背景、CEO-TMT交互和CEO权力均正向调节两者关系,经稳健性检验后,上述关系依然成立;进一步研究发现,团队断裂带的存在会阻碍团队成员的信息交流,从而抑制高层管理团队数字知识的转化;基于知识基础观发现,企业层面的技术吸收能力能够促进团队数字知识与企业数字化转型的关系。研究结论可以为数字变革下高层管理团队准确理解并正确履行自身角色和职能提供借鉴。

基于云模型和D-S理论的煤矿安全管理评价方法

针对传统评价方法处理某些指标时无法同时反映模糊性和随机性的缺陷,提出基于云模型定性与定量互转模型和D-S理论权重确定方法的综合评价方法。综合考虑煤矿安全管理影响因素,建立以设备管理、作业环境管理、信息管理、人员分配管理为二级指标的煤矿安全管理系统指标体系。霍州煤电集团宋庄煤矿的安全管理系统评价结果表明,该方法科学、有效。

基于D-S理论的企业安全绩效综合评定研究

为客观评定企业安全绩效,提出一种基于D-S证据理论的企业安全绩效综合评定方法。在确定安全绩效评定指标的基础上,利用模糊函数和群决策方法处理评价过程中的不确定信息,将多源决策信息转换为同一框架下的评价信息,然后根据各决策信息的重要度,通过D-S证据理论的mass函数和证据合成方法对安全绩效评价群决策中的不确定性信息逐层融合。实例表明,该方法能够克服D-S冲突问题,保证企业安全绩效综合评定信息融合结果的准确度,企业安全管理的优劣势的表征更为直观。

RBAC在B/S模式信息管理系统中的研究与实现

基于角色的访问控制(RBAC)具有减少授权管理复杂性、降低管理开销、增强系统安全性等优良特性。本文分析了RBAC模型的基本原理、结构,描述了RBAC在B/S模式信息管理系统中的应用模型,并将这种新的应用模型应用到某公司的业务信息管理系统开发中,实现了用户与角色相关联、角色与权限相关联,不同用户拥有不同的操作权限,增加了系统使用的安全性以及系统管理的工作效率。

反S型权重风险偏好对一类两级供应链的影响

大量实证研究表明,人们在不确定条件下,总是倾向于高估小概率事件并低估大概率事件,呈现反型权重风险偏好的特点。本文针对一类常见的由单供应商和单零售商组成的两级供应链,其中供应商有随机产出风险,分别考察了供应商与零售商的风险态度对其决策的影响。通过构建斯坦伯格博弈模型分析了供需双方的最优订购量和最优计划生产量。结果表明,供需双方或一方有反型风险态度时,保证供需双方均有激励动机签订契约的前提下,分散决策供应链的效率可达到集中决策的效果,也即供应链有可能达到协调。
