Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of percutaneous kyphoplasty at different surgical timings in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)based on the theory of“dynamic-...Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of percutaneous kyphoplasty at different surgical timings in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)based on the theory of“dynamic-static integration”.Methods:Patients with OVCF who underwent percutaneous kyphoplasty in our hospital were selected and divided into Groups A,B,and C for those undergoing surgery within 7,7—21,and>21 days of fracture occurrence.The variations in the amount of bone cement injected,pre-and post-operative pain levels,functional activity,deformity correction of the injured vertebrae,bone cement leakage,and vertebral body height loss were compared among the three groups.Results:Regarding pain relief and functional activity,the postoperative Visual Analog Scale and Oswestry Disability Index scores of the three groups significantly improved.Furthermore,the deformities of the injured vertebrae in the three groups were significantly corrected,with Groups A and B exhibiting superior correction compared to Group C.Moreover,the bone cement leakage rates in groups A and C were higher than that in Group B.At the 3-month follow-up,the loss of vertebral height in Group C was significantly higher than those in groups A and B.Conclusion:Kyphoplasty is effective for OVCF treatment.Early surgery can effectively restore the vertebral height of the injured vertebra,reduce kyphosis,and reduce height loss of the injured vertebra after surgery;nevertheless,treatment within 1—3 weeks of the fracture can reduce the occurrence of bone cement leakage,making the surgery safer.Therefore,surgical treatment within 1—3 weeks of fracture is safer and can achieve satisfactory therapeutic effects.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,PKP surgery can transform the fracture end from a micromotion state to a fixed state,which fully embodies the theory of“dynamic-static integration”.展开更多

The main objective was to study the effect of pattern coating thickness on casting imperfection and porosity percentage as well as eutectic silicon spacing of the alloy. The results showed that increasing slurry viscosity and flask dipping time influenced the casting integrity and microstructural characteristics. It was found that thinner pattern coating produced improved mould filling, refined microstructure and higher quality castings containing less porosity.展开更多
COVID-19 comes from a large family of viruses identied in 1965;to date,seven groups have been recorded which have been found to affect humans.In the healthcare industry,there is much evidence that Al or machine learni...COVID-19 comes from a large family of viruses identied in 1965;to date,seven groups have been recorded which have been found to affect humans.In the healthcare industry,there is much evidence that Al or machine learning algorithms can provide effective models that solve problems in order to predict conrmed cases,recovered cases,and deaths.Many researchers and scientists in the eld of machine learning are also involved in solving this dilemma,seeking to understand the patterns and characteristics of virus attacks,so scientists may make the right decisions and take specic actions.Furthermore,many models have been considered to predict the Coronavirus outbreak,such as the retro prediction model,pandemic Kaplan’s model,and the neural forecasting model.Other research has used the time series-dependent face book prophet model for COVID-19 prediction in India’s various countries.Thus,we proposed a prediction and analysis model to predict COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia.The time series dependent face book prophet model is used to t the data and provide future predictions.This study aimed to determine the pandemic prediction of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia,using the Time Series Analysis to observe and predict the coronavirus pandemic’s spread daily or weekly.We found that the proposed model has a low ability to forecast the recovered cases of the COVID-19 dataset.In contrast,the proposed model of death cases has a high ability to forecast the COVID-19 dataset.Finally,obtaining more data could empower the model for further validation.展开更多

A new model was established based on the flow model of the drilling fluid in one-dimensional radial fracture to research the influencing factors on conversion time between lost circulation and overflow for multi-press...A new model was established based on the flow model of the drilling fluid in one-dimensional radial fracture to research the influencing factors on conversion time between lost circulation and overflow for multi-pressure system in fractured reservoirs.And the equation of the conversion time between lost circulation and overflow is obtained by solving the mathematical model.The model were validated by reproducing the field data from Sichuan oil field and the simulation results of references.The influences of consistency index,liquidity index,dynamic shear force,drilling fluid density,drilling fluid intrusion depth,pressure of lost circulation layer,crack width,decreased height of annular liquid level,pressure of high-pressure layer were analyzed.Results indicate that conversion time between lost circulation and overflow increases with the increasing consistency index,liquidity index,dynamic shear force,drilling fluid density,drilling fluid intrusion depth,pressure of lost circulation layer.Conversion time between lost circulation and overflow decreases with the increasing crack width,decreased height of annular liquid level,pressure of high-pressure layer.The time interval of“Hang's Muddingoff”operating should be appropriately less than the conversion time between lost circulation and overflow.Under the premise of ensuring wellbore safety,appropriately increasing the consistency index,liquidity index and dynamic shear force of the drilling fluid can effectively increase the conversion time between lost circulation and overflow in large fractured stratum.展开更多

Inaddition, the accuracy of the timing calculation algorithmsuggested in the HCM is verified using field data from threeintersections. It is demonstrated that there is a positivecorrelation between the estimation error rates of the signalcycle length and the phase lost time. Also, the estimated valueof saturated flow rate must meet the specific requirementsunder different saturated conditions to guarantee the accuracyof the signal cycle length. However, through analysis of fielddata collected on the discharge headway in three intersections,it is also found that, if the 4th vehicle is set as the initial spotfor the stable discharge headway, as is recommended in theHCM, the error of the phase lost time will be over 40% whenthe line length is over 10 vehicles. Moreover, the calculationerror for signal cycle length is not guaranteed to fall within the15% range when the length of line is over 15 vehicles. It issuggested that, to improve the applicability of the HCMmethod, a more accurate description of the distributedregularity of the discharge headway is necessary whencalibrating key parameters.展开更多
