The House of Earth Trilogy used as a window to understand China for the westerners at that time. And it had a great impact on the whole world. People gave two different views on her success of winning so many awards. Some thought that she wrote what she knew and her works were based on her own experiences. But others said that she was a foreigner and her values, her distinct aesthetic views would affect her writing. So, some of her depictions, to some extent, were untruthful and distorted. Monitoring changes in Annual Net Primary Productivity(ANPP)is required for reporting on UN Sustainable Development Goal(SDG)Indicator 15.3.1:the proportion of land that is degraded over the total land area.Calibrating...Monitoring changes in Annual Net Primary Productivity(ANPP)is required for reporting on UN Sustainable Development Goal(SDG)Indicator 15.3.1:the proportion of land that is degraded over the total land area.Calibrating time-series observations of ANPP to derive Water Use Efficiency(WUE;a measure of ANPP per unit of evapotranspiration)can minimize the influence of climate factors on ANPP observations and highlight the influence of non-climatic drivers of degradation such as land use changes.Comparing the ANPP and WUE time series may be useful for identifying the primary drivers of land degradation,which could be used to support the Land Degradation Neutrality objectives of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification(UNCCD).This paper presents an algorithm for the Google Earth Engine(freely and openly available upon request-http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4429773)to calculate and compare ANPP and WUE time series for Santa Cruz,Bolivia,which has recently experienced an intensification in its land use.This code builds on the Good Practice Guidance document(ver-sion 1)for monitoring SDG Indicator 15.3.1.We use the MODIS 16-day average,250 m resolution to demonstrate that the Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI)responds faster to changes in water avail-ability than the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI).We also consider the relationships between ANPP and WUE.Significant and concordant trends may highlight good agricultural practices or increased resilience in ecosystem structure and productivity when they are positive or reducing resilience and functional integrity if negative.The sign and significance of the correlation between ANPP and WUE may also diverge over time.With further analysis,it may be possible to interpret this relationship in terms of the drivers of change in plant productivity and ecosystem resilience.展开更多

Manganese-zinc ferrite is a kind of very important magnetic ferrite material.The properties of wide absorption band,sensitivity to ultraviolet(UV)light and tumor H_(2)O_(2) promise it to be possibly used as a photothe...Manganese-zinc ferrite is a kind of very important magnetic ferrite material.The properties of wide absorption band,sensitivity to ultraviolet(UV)light and tumor H_(2)O_(2) promise it to be possibly used as a photothermal therapy(PTT),photodynamic therapy(PDT)and chemodynamic therapy(CDT)agent.Based on the unique advantages of rare-earth doped nanoparticles,an Er^(3+),Tm^(3+)co-doped upconversion-mediated nanosystem with manganese-zinc ferrite shell(named as UCNPS@M)was developed through a facile thermal co-decomposition method.The final nanosystems were surface-modified by using dopamine hydrochloride(DA)in order to warrant good biocompatibility(named as UCNPS@M@DA).Under irradiation of near-infrared(NIR)light,UCNPS emit both ultraviolet and visible light.The UV light is mostly abso rbed by manga nese-zinc ferrite shell to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS),which is essential to the potential PDT and CDT effect of nanosystems,and at the same time,Mn_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)Fe2O_(4) can further react with H_(2)O_(2) to promote the efficiency of OH-generation.It is expected that UCNPS@M@DA can act as upconversion luminescence imaging guidance due to the visible emission from UCNPS.In addition,the energy absorbed by the nanosystems can be transferred to heat to realize photothermal effect.Moreover,UCNPS@M@DA was successfully applied as a T_(1)/T_(2)-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)contrast agent due to the existence of Gd,Mn,and Fe elements.In light of the upconversion luminescence(UCL)imaging from the UCNPS as well as potential PTT,PDT,CDT effect mentioned above,this work provides a possibility to realize cancer multi-model bioimaging guided treatment by using an all-in-one diagnosis and therapy nanosystem through a simple yet powerful strategy.展开更多
SAPO-34,SAPO-5/34 based catalysts doped with Cu,Ce as active components were synthesized via a one-pot hydrothermal method by using different amounts of additive(a-cellulose),and their catalytic activities were measur...SAPO-34,SAPO-5/34 based catalysts doped with Cu,Ce as active components were synthesized via a one-pot hydrothermal method by using different amounts of additive(a-cellulose),and their catalytic activities were measured for selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO with NH3.The synthesized Cu-Ce co-doped products switch from cubic SAPO-34,to flower-like aggregated SAPO-5/34,hybrid crystal SAPO-5/34,and finally to spherical aggregated SAPO-34 with the increase of α-cellulose amount.The Cu-Ce co-doped SAPO-5/34 hybrid crystal structure catalysts with 0.75 mol ratios of C/P(Cu-Ce/SP-0.75)exhibit excellent NH_(3)-SCR activity with higher than 90% NOx conversion in the temperature range of 180-450℃,at WHSV of 20000 mL/(g·h).Furthermore,the catalyst displays outstanding sulfur resistance and NOX conversion maintains above 90% at 200-450℃ after adding 100 ppm of SO_(2).The characteristic results suggest that the high deNOX performance of Cu-Ce/SP-0.75 is due to the enhanced accessibility,abundant activity species,excellent redox property and high adsorptive and activated capacity for NH_(3).展开更多
