Developing Statistical Modellings to Investigate the Internal Drivers for the Trend of Output Values in the Manufacturing Industry:Evidence from Chinese Enterprises

The manufacturing industry is an important pillar of the national economy.It is of vital importance to develop statistical modellings in order to quantify the relationship between potential internal drivers and the trend of output values in the manufacturing industry.However,only a few statistical modellings have been established to investigate such associations.This study developed the correlation coefficient model and generalized linear model(GLM)to measure the single and interactive effects of the internal drivers on the changes of the output values.For the GLM,different predictive variables were developed to fit into the dataset,and the performance of the models were compared using fitness parameters.Furthermore,an industry survey dataset for 1,180 manufacturing enterprises in 2020 was used to validate the models.The use of the GLM combining land area,number of employees,scientific research input,and labor productivity may have a great potential to bolster capacity in monitoring and predicting the trend of output values in the manufacture industry.

Optimal Shape Factor and Fictitious Radius in the MQ-RBF:Solving Ill-Posed Laplacian Problems

To solve the Laplacian problems,we adopt a meshless method with the multiquadric radial basis function(MQRBF)as a basis whose center is distributed inside a circle with a fictitious radius.A maximal projection technique is developed to identify the optimal shape factor and fictitious radius by minimizing a merit function.A sample function is interpolated by theMQ-RBF to provide a trial coefficient vector to compute the merit function.We can quickly determine the optimal values of the parameters within a preferred rage using the golden section search algorithm.The novel method provides the optimal values of parameters and,hence,an optimal MQ-RBF;the performance of the method is validated in numerical examples.Moreover,nonharmonic problems are transformed to the Poisson equation endowed with a homogeneous boundary condition;this can overcome the problem of these problems being ill-posed.The optimal MQ-RBF is extremely accurate.We further propose a novel optimal polynomial method to solve the nonharmonic problems,which achieves high precision up to an order of 10^(−11).

Nature-Resource Potential of the Carpathian Region of Ukraine and Specificities of Its Use by Farming Enterprises

Method of nature-resource potential cost revaluation is suggested. The method proceeds from natural crop yield of Ukrainian lands provided that crops rotation is observed and lands are operated only mechanically with the use of no fertilizer. Nature-resource potential of Ukraine and its Carpathian Region are assessed in the aspect of administrative oblasts. Specificities of nature-resource potential’s use by farming enterprises are characterized. Peculiarities that effected upon formation of farming in Ukraine are reviewed. Indices of land availability are presented.

Thoughts on Promoting the Investment and Financing Development of Enterprises'Intellectual Property Rights from the Perspective of Intellectual Property Strategy

With the in-depth implementation of China's intellectual property strategy,the situation of intellectual property protection in China has been further improved,the enthusiasm of the public for entrepreneurship and innovation has been further stimulated,people's awareness of intellectual property rights has been further enhanced,and the value of intellectual property rights has been further recognized by people.As a new economic form,"intellectual property economy"plays an increasingly important role in our socialist market economy.At the same time,China's intellectual property still faces some prominent problems,especially in the field of intellectual property investment and financing,such as difficult valuation,management and liquidation.From the perspective of the implementation of intellectual property strategy and starting from the investment and financing of intellectual property rights of small and medium-sized enterprises,this paper introduces the basic concepts of intellectual property investment and financing,the development status and existing problems of intellectual property investment and financing of small and medium-sized enterprises,and puts forward some suggestions for improving the investment and financing policy of intellectual property rights.

The Hjek-Rnyi Inequlity For Banach Space Valued Random Variable Sequences and Its Application

CALCULATION OF FUZZY RELIABILITY IN THE CASE OF RANDOM STRESS AND FUZZY FATIGUE STRENGTH

The fuzzy sets theory is introduced into the fatigue reliability analysis. The concepts of maximizing set and minimizing set are developed to decide the ordering value of each fuzzy number, and these values can be used to determine the order of the fuzzy numbers. On the basis of the works mentioned above, the membership function defining the fuzzy safety event can be calculated, and then the fuzzy reliability in the case of stress and fuzzy fatigue strength is deduced. An example is given to illustrate the method.

Profit Allocation Scheme among Partners in Virtual Enterprises Based on Fuzzy Shapley Values

Fuzzy Shapley values are developed based on classical Shapley values and used to allocate profit among partners in virtual enterprises （VE）. Axioms of the classical Shapley value are extended to Shapley values with fuzzy payoffs by using fuzzy sets theory. Fuzzy Shapley function is defined based on these extended axioms. From the viewpoint the allocation for each partner should be a crisp value rather a fuzzy membership function at the end of cooperation, a crisp allocation scheme based on fuzzy Shapley values is proposed.

Strategic Deviance,Customer Concentration and Enterprise Value——A Case Study of Agricultural Listed Enterprises

From the perspective of strategy,this paper uses A-share agricultural listed companies( 2011-2016) as samples to study the impact of strategic deviance on enterprise value,to explore whether customer concentration plays a mediating effect. The results show that customer concentration plays a mediating effect in the relationship between strategic deviance and enterprise value. The strategic deviance is positively correlated with customer concentration and negatively correlated with enterprise value. The management of agricultural enterprises must pay attention to the customer relationship problems caused by strategic deviance,reduce the risk of enterprises,and gradually enhance the value of enterprises.

Empirical Research on Relationship between Corporate Brand Value and Apparel Market Sales Revenue of Apparel Enterprise

Among the existing researches on brand value,few of them focused on the demands of the companies in the clothing industry to brand value. There were three innovation points as follows: first of all,two key demands of apparel companies to existing brand value were summarized through investigation; then,the concept of rapid brand value evaluation and multi-dimensional factors( MDFs) was presented; finally,the relationship between apparel corporate brand value and the sales revenue in apparel market with the sales revenue was proven by empirical research.During the process of empirical study,the sales revenue data of 66 apparel enterprises domestic and abroad were collected,and the regression analysis has been done on the relationship between the corporate brand value and the apparel market sales revenue of apparel enterprise. The empirical research showed that they were positively correlated to each other. This conclusion presented a method of judging brand value development trend quickly by single indicator.

OPERATOR-VALUED FOURIER MULTIPLIER THEOREMS ON TRIEBEL SPACES

The authors establish operator-valued Fourier multiplier theorems on Triebel spaces on R^N, where the required smoothness of the multiplier functions depends on the dimension N and the indices of the Triebel spaces. This is used to give a sufficient condition of the maximal regularity in the sense of Triebel spaces for vector-valued Cauchy problems with Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Profitability of RE-Technology Regarding the Economic Environment:A Case Study of Swiss SMEs

Considering the important changes in the Swiss energy sector, especially in renewable energy(RE)technologies, new revenue possibilities for small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) emerge. However, the adaption of RE-technologies for Swiss enterprises relies on tangible financial returns, based on complex calculations. This article analyses business opportunities(BOs) of eight Swiss SMEs considering the net present value of RE-investments in an uncertain economic environment. We identify two profitable BOs for Swiss SMEs and three which are not profitable. Further, the article demonstrates that the profitability of such investments remains mostly positive even under economic uncertainties. Surprisingly the profitability does not change significantly if the SME receives a subsidy or not. The support instrument of the Swiss Government has not a ponderous impact on the decision to invest in RE-technologies or not. Therefore, the article emphasizes the importance of including SME in the Swiss attempt to decentralize the energy market.
