This paper gives a general overview of rationale of tropical agricultural circular economy.On the basis of ecological economic theory,circular economy is a new model of economic development which aims at realizing reducing of resources use,reuse of products and recycling of wastes,conforming to the principle of 4R.It is to make economic system melt into the process of cycle of material of natural ecological system harmoniously.This paper introduces the advantages of developing tropical agriculture in Hainan Province,the main problems existing in the development and two main models of sustainable tropical agricultural development in Hainan Province at present.9 typical models of tropical agricultural circular economy in Hainan Province are listed in particular,including compound ecological project of forestry and animal husbandry,three-dimensional planting model of plantation,multilayered structure of eucalyptuses,sustainable agricultural model of sightseeing,the model of using animal manure,precision tropical agricultural model,clean production model of tropical agriculture,deep processing model of tropical agricultural products,and the model of ecological agricultural industrialization.Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote development of tropical agricultural circular economy in Hainan Province as follows:take actions that suit local circumstances,exert advantage and exploit potential;give full play to advantage of integration of production,teaching and research,and promote agriculture by applying scientific and technological advances;the whole staff participate and strengthen construction of soft environment and hard environment. 展开更多

The concept of a circular economy can be applied to different business fields.The development of the existing industrial cycles with an overemphasis on economic development and the twisting concept of a circular economy,has limited any substantial contribution of the circular economy to environmental resources.In some cases,resources are even being consumed to create resource recycling.This puts a greater burden on the environment.To gain an understanding of the actual value of a circular economy to the environment and resources,an“Essence Analysis Model”has been used in this study.This combines sustainable development issues in a multi-faceted and multi-leveled analysis of the industrial circular economy model to guide its development more directly towards fundamentals.An analysis of the results of the“Essence Analysis Model”was used to find and change the original strategy,and develop a means of improving the circular economy model.The results of the study make an essential contribution to the sustainable development of environmental resources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emission. 展开更多

Much has been done in the wine production sector to promote sustainable development.Given its relevance in the economy and in society,it is fundamental to align its activities with the optimal use of resources and the regeneration and restoration of the natural system in agreement with the premises set by the Circular Economy(CE).The main interest of this work was,through a systematic literature review,to identify in the revised studies how the wine sector has incorporated the premises of CE in its activities.Six topics define the concerns addressed:water,solid waste,energy,chemical use,land use and ecosystems,in different parts of the chain:viticulture,winemaking and distribution.From the evaluation of 41 selected empirical studies,no clear definition regarding CE was found;however,the detailed analysis reveals aspects which incorporate CE practices such as the reduction of waste disposal by its treatment and recovery,the best use of resources at all stages of the process chain and the need to rethink and redesign current practices.The specific subjects identified were waste recovery,alternative energy sources such as biofuels production and water quality improvement.Land use,ecosystem impacts,and use of agrochemicals were not considered. 展开更多

This paper outlines a mechanical transformation process for rubber recycling, demonstrating the development of a new material from used tires. With the crumbs obtained using a crusher-compactor, a novel material for the manufacture of O-rings has been developed, with properties close to those found on the market. The process includes an experimental methodology of a sulfur vulcanization system choice and the quantification of ingredients, as well as the experimental determination of cure parameters. Mechanical tests on the samples completed the work by providing the mechanical characteristics of both unaged and aged (thermo-oxidative ageing) novel material. This process has a high potential for sustainable development and industrialization, making it a valuable contribution to the recycling of rubber in African developing countries. 展开更多

Research on the essence of policy implementation is the basis for finding solutions.A circular city is founded on the concept of a circular economy,extending from the recycling of single substances to regional resource recycling development.Given limited energy and resource conditions,the emphasis lies in considering right from that source that at the end of a product’s service life substances can continue to enter their cycle of reuse and re-utilization.Meanwhile,residual substances can return to the industry and organisms as basic nutrients.The development of circular cities has to be multi-faceted synergetic promotion.Otherwise,it will be deviating from the meaning of the circular essence.In this study,the sustainable development of environment,economy,society and governance aspects were adopted as the starting point for exploring the connotation of the promotion of circular cites.The semi-structured expert interview was adopted as the research method.The pyramid principle was employed to carry out logical inference.The Fishbone Diagram was used to carry out time series analysis in order to ensure relevant requirements do not deviate from the mindset of circular essence during circular city planning.Finally,the 13 circular city planning solutions proposed in the research results and contribution can be specifically provided to agencies engaged in circular city planning and governance. 展开更多

绿色环保产业兼具带动经济增长和应对环境问题的双重属性,“四链”深度融合是绿色环保产业实现高质量发展的重要支撑,是实现“双碳”目标的重要抓手。本文通过深度分析企业不同发展阶段“四链”融合特征,结合产业发展现状,发现在企业创... 绿色环保产业兼具带动经济增长和应对环境问题的双重属性,“四链”深度融合是绿色环保产业实现高质量发展的重要支撑,是实现“双碳”目标的重要抓手。本文通过深度分析企业不同发展阶段“四链”融合特征,结合产业发展现状,发现在企业创立初期,资金链是关键,创新链与人才链驱动,逐步形成产业链;在企业成长期,主要靠资金链驱动,人才链与创新链支持,拓展产业链;而对于成熟期的企业,可依据产业链进行战略布局,维持创新链。研究发现,绿色环保产业“四链”融合主要存在创新链与产业链衔接不紧密、资金链对各链的支撑度较弱、人才链与创新链和资金链融合度不够等问题。研究建议,制定低碳创新战略路线图,明确“四链”融合发展路径;提高创新链与产业链适配度;优化资金链,提高与各链融合度;完善人才链,注重人才培育;企业根据自身发展阶段,明确驱动链,保障“四链”有效融合。 展开更多

本文通过构建循环经济和绿色金融综合评价指标定量评价各省循环经济和绿色金融发展水平,发现2013—2021年间我国各省份的绿色金融和循环经济发展水平均呈上升趋势,但地区差异明显。在此基础上,从资金支持和产业结构优化两方面分析了绿... 本文通过构建循环经济和绿色金融综合评价指标定量评价各省循环经济和绿色金融发展水平,发现2013—2021年间我国各省份的绿色金融和循环经济发展水平均呈上升趋势,但地区差异明显。在此基础上,从资金支持和产业结构优化两方面分析了绿色金融促进循环经济发展的理论机制,并进一步实证研究了绿色金融对循环经济发展的促进作用。研究表明,绿色金融在促进循环经济发展方面发挥着重要作用,特别是在我国东部地区尤为显著,且两者间存在显著的交互影响、空间溢出效应和阶段门槛效应。基于研究结论,本文提出各地方政府应制定差异化的绿色低碳循环发展政策,并分区域、分阶段推进绿色金融和循环经济相互融合发展的对策建议。 展开更多

Latent dimensions between water use and socio-economic development: A global exploratory statistical analysis

Water use and socio-economic development are interconnected in complex ways.Causalities are not easy to identify but it is evident that a nexus between water use and socio-economic development does exist.Considering the diversity of national situations relating to these interrelated phenomena,its study should be considered from a global perspective.This article critically reviews the literature and information from official sources on the relevance of water use and circular economy in order to create a global picture,linking water with socio-economic development.Data from 195 countries were analyzed statistically.A factor analysis defined five essential latent dimensions on the nexus between water use and socio-economic development:development and basic services,population and resources,economic volume,health and well-being,and population density.Based on the identified factors,countries were classified into six groups:Global South in difficulty,global semi-periphery,advanced economy,Middle East and other Global South developing economy,global weight,and small highly developed economy.The clustering results clarify connections between water use conditions and socioeconomic development.Understanding the variety of national profiles is helpful to reveal the magnitude and urgency of dealing with the nexus between water use and socio-economic development for many countries. 展开更多
