Conceptual Design of Themed Restaurant in Colleges and Universities

Creative themed restaurants not only meet the needs of dining of people, but also provide consumers with a unique experience, which accounts for its popularity. This paper, based on the existing locomotive in University of Science and Technology Liao Ning, expounds the conceptual design scheme of "Next Station" campus train-themed restaurant from three aspects: theme design, menu and service design and space environment design.

Enhanced Heritage Tourism Management through a Themed Landscape Approach: The Case of Brussels’ Art Nouveau

Besides being known as the birthplace of fries and waffles,Brussels is also referred to as a superlative Art Nouveau Capital.However,it appears that many of its visitors are unfamiliar with this city’s architectural style which is spread throughout the Capital Region.Due to both the specific opportunities and barriers of the Brussels context,an improved valorisation was explored through a themed landscape approach.This innovative tourism approach can enhance both the management and experience of the Art Nouveau patrimony as an entity.Applying a survey and interviews,this research examined the views of two relevant stakeholder groups:policymakers and tourism managers,and visitors.Two main research questions were addressed:whether these groups could identify the Brussels Art Nouveau as a themed landscape;and,in which way a themed landscape approach can overcome fragmented management and weak experience.Confronting both groups revealed interesting discrepancies as hidden hurdles for tourism destination management.

The changes in women’s life in China from the 1950s to the 2000s can be analyzed by women-themed films.This article distinguishes between popular films and niche films by distinguishing female-themed films in the 1950s,1980s,and 2000s,through comparative analysis,summarizes the development and breakthroughs of Chinese feminism in these three periods,and uses Chinese female-themed films as the material to summarize the development trend of Chinese feminism since the 1950s.

Evolution and trends of high myopia research from 2002 to 2021: a scientometric analysis

Background:Research on high myopia has gradually formed a complex network of knowledge,but a panorama of evolutionary trends is lacking.By conducting a scientometric analysis,we can gain a deeper understanding of the development and evolution of this field.Methods:The global literature on high myopia published from 2002 to 2021 was extracted from the Science Citation Index Expanded in the Web of Science Core Collection.Microsoft Excel,VOSviewer,and CiteSpace were used to analyse and visualize the bibliometric data.Publication-related information,including countries,journals,authors,citations,subject categories,and its’time trends,was analysed.Results:A total of 4,226 included publications showed an annually increasing trend during the past 20 years.The high myopia research hotspots were refractive error correction,epidemiology,ocular biometry,drug and laser treatment of myopic fundus lesions,and surgical treatment of myopic fundus lesions.Cocitation analysis showed that high myopia genetics and myopic fundus lesion research were the research frontiers.A total of 116 disciplines were involved in high myopia research.Ophthalmology(n=3,338)was the most dominant subject category.Engineering(betweenness centrality=0.65)was the discipline with the most obvious bridge role.Science&technology—other topics(burst years:2015–2021;strength=14.88)had the greatest strength as of 2021,which was the hottest subject category.Conclusions:High myopia genetics and myopic fundus lesion research showed a potential for breakthroughs.Medical-engineering cross-innovation is a cutting-edge technology trend.

Themes and Challenges in Making Urban Freight Distribution Sustainable

The purpose of this article is to explore and classify themes and challenges in making urban freight distribution sustainable.The study has a cross sectional design which started by a narrative literature review and analysis of a sample of related literature(like peer-reviewed articles and EU(European Union)documents).It ended with complementary discussion and recommendation for tackling the challenges.The results of the study illustrate eight and seven emerged categories of themes and challenges,respectively.It is concluded that there is great need for a packet of mixed strategies as well as a more holistic perspective where all actors together analyse and design future set-ups and operation of urban freight distribution.Such a holistic view is essential in order to:understand how different actors of the chain look upon sustainable urban freight distribution,avoid sub-optimal policies/governing rules,and suggest close-to-reality solutions for tackling the challenges.Freight distribution in urban areas is the main focus of this article.In addition,the study is demarcated to eco/environmental aspect of sustainability although it is impossible to completely exclude its interaction with economic and social aspects.The results offered in this paper provide a systematic structure for classifying issues related to sustainable urban freight distribution;something which will be beneficial for managers and policy-makers when they approach sustainable supply chain management challenges.This study provides a synthesized classification of themes and challenges which can guide researchers,industries,authorities,and policy-makers in future sustainability efforts.

景区道路景观的主题化设计探讨——以应城市“五龙寺文化园”为例(英文)

The combination of ornamental function and recreational function should be taken into account in road landscape design of scenic area.The theme characteristic should be highlighted by designing techniques.Roads in scenic area should be used to lead tourists' behavior according to people's behavioral psychology.With Five Dragon Temple Cultural Park as case study,starting from its geographic location and establishment concept,the paper had extracted design theme of Five Dragon Temple Cultural Park.Profound religious cultural connotation had been given to the cultural park with Chinese traditional religion and "Five Elements" theory as the inspiration.It designed five main roads with different colors which represented five elements covering "gold,wood,water,fire and earth".Different scenic areas had been linked together by five man roads,forming a road landscape pattern of "meeting of five dragons".Then,flowering plants had been collocated along the five roads which were Vatica astrotricha,Punica granatum,Prunus serrulata,Morus alba and Osmanthus fragrans,creating theme-based road landscape not only representing religious significance but also corresponding with "Five Elements" theory.
