Methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study, carried out in the department of neonatology and neonatal intensive care unit of the CHU Mohamed VI in OUJDA, over 6 months from March 2022 to August 2022. It focused on 30 fathers of premature newborns hospitalized in our department. Results: The majority of fathers described a state of fear and stress, and attributed their negative experience to the unexpected nature of the premature birth. At the first meeting, half the fathers had a positive image of their newborn’s physical appearance, while 22% of fathers reported feeling uncomfortable about their newborn’s low weight. Most fathers reported that they appreciated the welcome they received, the skill with which they cared for their newborn, and the availability of the pediatrician to provide information on their child’s state of health. Two fathers enjoyed skin-to-skin contact with their newborns. None of the fathers met a psychologist. When they returned home, half the fathers had a positive outlook, marked by happiness at being able to fully invest in their role as fathers, the other half reported being torn between the desire to see their child integrated into the family cocoon and the fear of not being able to manage delicate situations properly without a medical team. Conclusion: Bringing a premature baby into the world can be a difficult experience, leading to the development of even minor psychological distress in some fathers, and hence the need for specific psychological care.展开更多

Two types of fans occurred in the middle-late Paleogene Kumugeliemu and Suweiyi formations: one alluvial, and the other fan delta deposited in a lacustrine setting. Within the early Neogene Jidike Formation, coastal subaqueous fans developed, probably in a deeper water lacustrine setting. The three types of fans are stacked vertically in outcrop with the sequence in ascending order: bottom alluvial, middle fan-delta, and top suhaqueous. The subaqueous is a typical coarse-fan deposit occurring in the glutinite member of the Jidike Formation in some wells. Laterally, from the foreland to the lacustrine settings, the distribution pattern of sedimentary facies represents the same three fan types sequentially. The spatial distribution of these fans was controlled by the Paleogene-Neogene Basin transformation, and evolution with different types of fans developed in the Kuqa Depression in response. In the Paleogene, the Kuqa Depression was a rift basin where an alluvial fan was deposited in the foreland setting, which, by early Neogene, became a foreland basin when the lake level changed. With any rise in lake level, fan-deltas migrated from lacustrine to foreland settings, whereas when the lake level fell, fan migration was reversed. In the early Neogene, with increasing slope and rising lake level, fans progressed and covered the previous fan-delta and lacustrine mudstone. Eventually, subaqueous fans developed, forming the present spatial configuration of these three fan types.展开更多

In the Huanghua Depression, there exist many genetic types of CO2 gases, i.e. organic CO2, thermal metamorphic CO2 and crust-mantle mixed CO2. The distribution of different types of CO2 gases is controlled by different factors. Organic CO2 that occurs mainly around the oil-generating center is associated with hydrocarbon gases as a secondary product and commonly far away from large faults. Thermal metamorphic CO2 occurs mainly in areas where carbonate strata are developed and igneous activity is strong, and tends to accumulate near large faults. CO2 of such an origin is higher in concentration than organic CO2, but lower than crust-mantle mixed CO2. Crust-mantle mixed CO2 occurs mainly along large faults. Its distribution is limited, but its purity is the highest.展开更多

Based on investigation of gas composition, carbon isotope ratios, light hydrocarbon properties, as well as geological analysis, natural gases in the Jiyang Depression are classified into two types, one is organic gas and the other is abiogenic gas. Abiogenic gas is mainly magmatogenic or mantlederived CO2. Organic gases are further divided into coaltype gas, oil-type gas, and biogas according to their kero- gen types and formation mechanisms. The oil-type gases are divided into mature oil-type gas (oil-associated gas) and highly mature oil-type gas. The highly mature oil-type gases can be subdivided into oil-cracking gas and kerogen thermal degradation gas. Identification factors for each kind of hydrocarbon gas were summarized. Based on genesis analysis results, the genetic types of gases buried in different depths were discussed. Results showed that shallow gases (〈1,500 m) are mainly mature oil-type gases, biogas, or secondary gases. Secondary gases are rich in methane because of chromatographic separation during migration and secondary biodegradation. Secondary biodegradation leads to richness of heavy carbon isotope ratios in methane and propane. Genesis of middle depth gases (1,500-3,500 m) is dominated by mature oil-type gases.Deep gases (3,500-5,500 m) are mainly kerogen thermal degradation gas, oil-cracking gas, and coal-type gas.展开更多

Saturated hydrocarbons have various spectra, such as single peak and double peak patterns, front peak and rear peak patterns, and smooth peak and serated peak patterns, as well as the chromatograms of biodegraded n-alkanes. The ratios of Pr/Ph in crude oils from the southern part of the depression are generally higher than those in the northern part. The distribution of regular steranes C27-C29 is predominantly of the ramp type, and only a few samples have relatively high C28 contents in the southern part of the depression. As viewed from their physical properties and geochemical characteristics, crude oils in the study area can be divided into two types (I and II) based on oil-generating sources and sedimentary environments, and then further divided into three sub-types (Ia, Ib and Ic:IIa, IIb and IIIc, respectively) based on their degrees of maturation and secondary transformation. This will provide the reliable basis for oil-source correlation and petroleum exploration and prediction.展开更多

Patients with comorbid depression are more likely to develop macrovascular and microvascular complications. The aim was to assess glycemic control and adherence in diabetic patients with comorbid depression. Further, the study evaluated the relationship between adherence and the physician-patient relationship. Methods: The study was conducted at Al-Agouza Family Medicine Center (AFMC) between February 2018 and March 2020. The included patients were between 35 - 80 years of age;had type 2 diabetes with hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) ≥ 6.5%, fasting plasma glucose ≥ 126 mg/dl, and scored between 11 - 30 on the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Logistic regression, chi-square, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to assess the relationship between depression, adherence, physician-patient relationship, and other variables. Results: The study included 100 eligible patients with a median BDI score of 20 (10 - 30). The median diabetic panel for patients was FBS 188 (126 - 348) mg/dl, PPS 282.50 (162 - 448) mg/dl, and HbA1c 9.5 (6.6 - 14.0)%. Depression and regular follow-up visits were statistically associated with improvement of diabetes symptoms (p = 0.019). There was a significant relationship (p 0.001) between adherence, regular follow-up visits, and knowledge of DM. Further, there was a significant relationship between the physician-patient relationship and DM improvement (p = 0.047). Conclusion: Physician-patient relationship was paramount to improving adherence and positive diabetes care. Our findings suggest a shift to a physician-patient relationship model with mutual agreement on medical decisions is highly recommended.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Type 2 myocardial infarction(T2MI)is an ischemic myocardial injury in the context of oxygen supply/demand mismatch in the absence of a primary coronary event. However, though there is a rising prevalence of depression and its potential association with type 1 myocardial infarction(T1MI),data remains nonexistent to evaluate the asso-ciation with T2MI.AIM To identify the prevalence and risk of T2MI in adults with depression and its impact on the in-hospital outcomes.METHODS We queried the National Inpatient Sample(2019)to identify T2MI hospitalizations using Internal Classification of Diseases-10 codes in hospitalized adults(≥18 years). In addition,we compared sociodemographic and comorbidities in the T2MI cohort with vs without comorbid depression. Finally,we used multivariate regression analysis to study the odds of T2MI hospitalizations with vs without depression and in-hospital outcomes(all-cause mortality, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and stroke),adjusting for confounders.Statistical significance was RESULTS There were 331145 adult T2MI hospitalizations after excluding T1MI(median age:73 years,52.8%male,69.9%white);41405(12.5%)had depression, the remainder;289740 did not have depression.Multivariate analysis revealed lower odds of T2MI in patients with depression vs without[adjusted odds ratio(aOR)=0.88,95%confidence interval(CI):0.86-0.90,P=0.001].There was the equal prevalence of prior MI with any revascularization and a similar prevalence of peripheral vascular disease in the cohorts with depression vs without depression. There is a greater prevalence of stroke in patients with depression(10.1%)vs those without(8.6%).There was a slightly higher prevalence of hyperlipidemia in patients with depression vs without depression(56.5%vs 48.9%),as well as obesity(21.3%vs 17.9%).There was generally equal prevalence of hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus in both cohorts. There was no significant difference in elective and non-elective admissions frequency between cohorts.Patients with depression vs without depression also showed a lower risk of all-cause mortality(aOR=0.75,95%CI:0.67-0.83,P=0.001),cardiogenic shock(aOR=0.65,95%CI:0.56-0.76,P=0.001),cardiac arrest(aOR=0.77,95%CI:0.67-0.89,P=0.001)as well as stroke(aOR=0.79,95%CI:0.70-0.89,P=0.001).CONCLUSION This study revealed a significantly lower risk of T2MI in patients with depression compared to patients without depression by decreasing adverse in-hospital outcomes such as all-cause mortality, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and stroke in patients with depression.
文摘Common psychiatric disorders(CPDs)and depression contribute significantly to the global epidemic of type 2 diabetes(T2D).We postulated a possible pathophysiological mechanism that through Bridge-Symptoms present in depression and CPDs,promotes the establishment of emotional eating, activation of the reward system, onset of overweight and obesity and, ultimately the increased risk of developing T2D.The plausibility of the proposed pathophysiological mechanism is supported by the mechanism of action of drugs such as naltrexonebupropion currently approved for the treatment of both obesity/overweight with T2D and as separate active pharmaceutical ingredients in drug addiction, but also from initial evidence that is emerging regarding glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists that appear to be effective in the treatment of drug addiction. We hope that our hypothesis may be useful in interpreting the higher prevalence of CPDs and depression in patients with T2D compared with the general population and may help refine the integrated psychiatric-diabetic therapy approach to improve the treatment and or remission of T2D.

文摘A group of alluvial fans formed in the early Paleogene represent marginal sedimentary facies at the foot of the South Tianshan Mountain, Kuqa Depression, Tarim Basin, Xinjiang province. Eventually, subaqueous fans developed, forming the present spatial configuration of these three fan types.
文摘CO2 gas is a nonhydrocarbon gas, with a high economic value and a broad prospect for application. Its distribution is limited, but its purity is the highest.
文摘Natural gases were widely distributed in the Jiyang Depression with complicated component composition, and it is difficult to identify their genesis. Genesis of middle depth gases (1,500-3,500 m) is dominated by mature oil-type gases.Deep gases (3,500-5,500 m) are mainly kerogen thermal degradation gas, oil-cracking gas, and coal-type gas.
文摘The physical properties and group compositions of crude oils in the western depression of the Liaohe Basin possess such characteristics as to increase gradually in density, viscosity and wax contents, and decrease in saturated hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon and bitumen contents from the deep level to the shallow level and from the center of the depression to its boundary. This will provide the reliable basis for oil-source correlation and petroleum exploration and prediction.
文摘Purpose:Screen-based sedentary behavior(SSB)has been identified as risk factor for mental disorders in most of adolescents. However, there is little literature pertaining to the specific kinds of SSB and its connections with depressive symptoms in most of adolescents. In the present study,we are going tofind out the connections between specific types of SSB and depressive symptoms in Chinese adolescents. Methods:A cross-sectional data based on 996 study participants of middle school students in Guangdong Province.SSB was evaluated by distri-buting the questionnaire of Health Behavior in School-aged Children, while depressive symptoms were evaluated using Chinese version of Children’s Depressive symptoms Inventory(CDI).SSB was categorized into TV/movie time, video games time and other electronic devices-based time(e.g.,mobile phone, computer use).Generalized linear models was used to explore the connections between specific kinds of SSB and depressive symptoms. Results:After controlling for variables of sex, ethnicity, grade, residence, siblings, perceived family affluence, father educational level, mother educational background, body mass index(BMI),physical exercise, duration of sleep, other electronic devices-based time was positively correlated with depressive symptoms in Chinese adolescents(B=0.557%,95%CI:0.187–0.926,p=0.003).This significant connection was also found in girls(B=0.728%,95%CI:0.230–1.225,p=0.004)instead of boys(p>0.05).The other types of SSB were not signifi-cantly in relation to depressive symptoms in adolescents regardless of sex. Conclusion:This study suggested that it might be effective in reducing or preventing depressive symptoms through limiting electronic devices-based time, like computer use or mobile phone use time. This strategy would be particularly useful in girls.Future stu-dies should negate or replicate the research results by introducing more improved study design, which is beneficial to better understand the connections between SSB and depressive symptoms as well as then design more efficient interventions in adolescents.

文摘The buried hill in the Jizhong depression contains abundant petroleum reserves and are important production areas. The Ordovician buried hill has restricted the discovery of new oil and gas exploration targets because of its strong reservoir heterogeneity and complex reservoir-controlling factors.Based on a large volume of core, thin section, logging, seismic, and geochemical data and numerous geological analyses, the reservoir-forming conditions and modes were systematically analyzed to guide the exploration and achieve important breakthroughs in the Yangshuiwu and Wen an slope buried hills. The study revealed that three sets of source rocks of the third and fourth members of the Shahejie Formation from the Paleogene and Carboniferous-Permian were developed in the Jizhong depression, providing sufficient material basis for the formation of buried hill oil and gas reservoirs. The reservoir control mechanism involving the three major factors of“cloud-karst-fault”was clarified, and karst cave, fracture fissure-pore,and cloud pore type reservoir models were established, thereby expanding the exploration potential.Controlled by the superposition of multi-stage tectonic processes during the Indosinian,Yanshanian, and Himalayan, two genetic buried hill trap types of uplift-depression and depression-uplift were formed.Based on the analysis of reservoir-forming factors of the Ordovician buried hill, three buried hill oil and gas reservoir-forming models were identified:low-level tectonic-lithologic composite quasi-layered buried hill,medium-level paleo-storage paleo-block buried hill, and high-level paleo-storage new-block buried hill.Comprehensive evaluations indicate that the reservoir-forming conditions of the low-level tectonic-lithologic composite quasi-layered buried hill in the northern portion of the Jizhong depression are the most favorable and that the Sicundian and Xinzhen buried hills are favorable areas for future exploration.
文摘The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of Break Free from Depression(BFFD),a school-based depression awareness curriculum,in comparison to a wait list control group.A total of 13 eighth grade classrooms participated in either an intervention or control group and completed pre-,post-,and three-month follow-up surveys.Students participating in BFFD(N=6 classrooms,166 students)demonstrated enhanced knowledge of and more adaptive attitudes towards depression compared to the control group(N=7 classrooms,155 students).Participants in the BFFD intervention also demonstrated increases in their confidence in knowing how to seek help for depression and in their intent to seek this help if needed.Slight decreases were found at a three-month follow-up in all scales except for intent to seek help.BFFD was effective regardless of gender, ethnicity,or identification as a member of the LGBTQ community. There was a delayed effect on measured constructs for Black students with gains apparent at three-month follow-up.The findings demonstrated that BFFD had a small but significant positive impact on students’knowledge, skills, and attitudes in seeking support for themselves and for others when faced with signs of depression. The implementation of depression awareness curricula in schools hold promise in promoting student mental health, and it is important to consider factors that might have an impact on outcomes.

文摘BACKGROUND It is positive to integrate and evaluate the risk factors for postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome and to detect highrisk patients as early as possible, which has application value for the clinical development of personalized prevention programs and prognosis of patients.AIM To analyze factors related to postpartum depression in patients with pregnancyinduced hypertension and construct and evaluate a nomogram model.METHODS The clinical data of 276 patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension admitted to Huzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital between January 2017 and April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. We evaluated the depression incidence at 6 wk postpartum. The depression group included patients with postpartum depression, and the remainder were in the non-depression group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis and the LASSO regression model were applied to analyze the factors related to postpartum depression in patients with pregnancyinduced hypertension. After that,a risk prediction model nomogram was constructed and evaluated.RESULTS Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that vitamin A deficiency(VAD)during pregnancy and puerperium, family history of hypertension, maternal intestinal flora imbalance, eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA),and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)were independent risk factors for postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension(P<0.05).We constructed the nomogram model based on these five risk factors. The area under the curve, specificity, and sensitivity of the model in predicting postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension was 0.867(95%confidence interval:0.828–0.935),0.676,and 0.889,respectively.The average absolute error was 0.037(Hosmer-Lemeshow testχ2=10.739,P=0.217).CONCLUSION VAD during pregnancy and puerperium, family history of hypertension, maternal intestinal flora imbalance,EPA,and DHA affect postpartum depression in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension.
文摘Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) challenges health and quality of life of patients, families, and communities. Our findings suggest a shift to a physician-patient relationship model with mutual agreement on medical decisions is highly recommended.
