SHEL:a semantically enhanced hardware-friendly entity linking method

With the help of pre-trained language models,the accuracy of the entity linking task has made great strides in recent years.However,most models with excellent performance require fine-tuning on a large amount of training data using large pre-trained language models,which is a hardware threshold to accomplish this task.Some researchers have achieved competitive results with less training data through ingenious methods,such as utilizing information provided by the named entity recognition model.This paper presents a novel semantic-enhancement-based entity linking approach,named semantically enhanced hardware-friendly entity linking(SHEL),which is designed to be hardware friendly and efficient while maintaining good performance.Specifically,SHEL's semantic enhancement approach consists of three aspects:(1)semantic compression of entity descriptions using a text summarization model;(2)maximizing the capture of mention contexts using asymmetric heuristics;(3)calculating a fixed size mention representation through pooling operations.These series of semantic enhancement methods effectively improve the model's ability to capture semantic information while taking into account the hardware constraints,and significantly improve the model's convergence speed by more than 50%compared with the strong baseline model proposed in this paper.In terms of performance,SHEL is comparable to the previous method,with superior performance on six well-established datasets,even though SHEL is trained using a smaller pre-trained language model as the encoder. 展开更多

We study the phenomena of preferential linking in a large-scale evolving online social network and find that the linear preference holds for preferential creation, preferential acceptance, and preferential attachment. Based on the linear preference, we propose an analyzable model, which illustrates the mechanism of network growth and reproduces the process of network evolution. Our simulations demonstrate that the degree distribution of the network produced by the model is in good agreement with that of the real network. This work provides a possible bridge between the micro=mechanisms of network growth and the macrostructures of online social networks. 展开更多

This paper presents a novel adaptive nonlinear model predictive control design for trajectory tracking of flexible-link manipulators consisting of feedback linearization, linear model predictive control, and unscented Kalman filtering. Reducing the nonlinear system to a linear system by feedback linearization simplifies the optimization problem of the model predictive controller significantly, which, however, is no longer linear in the presence of parameter uncertainties and can potentially lead to an undesired dynamical behaviour. An unscented Kalman filter is used to approximate the dynamics of the prediction model by an online parameter estimation, which leads to an adaptation of the optimization problem in each time step and thus to a better prediction and an improved input action. Finally, a detailed fuzzy-arithmetic analysis is performed in order to quantify the effect of the uncertainties on the control structure and to derive robustness assessments. The control structure is applied to a serial manipulator with two flexible links containing uncertain model parameters and acting in three-dimensional space. 展开更多

With the use of cubic B-splinc function as a link’s transverse deflection interpolation function, the principle of virtual displacement is presented as a basic theory for the general formulation of the equations of motion, and thus abandoned the kinematic assumption and the instantaneous structure assumption which arc used in the Spline Model Method. In thc same time, the nonlinear terms sue as coupling terms between thc rigid body motion and elastic deformation arc included. New member’s spline models are established. Mass matrix, Coriolis mass matrix, normal and tangential mass matrix, linear stiffness matrix, nonlinear stiffness matrix and rotation matrix arc derived. The kinematic differential equations of a member and system are deduced in the end. Select link analysis provides information of where traffic comes from and goes to at selected links.This disaggregate information has wide applications in practice.The state-of-the-art planning software packages often adopt the user equilibrium(UE) model for select link analysis.However,empirical studies have repeatedly revealed that the stochastic user equilibrium model more accurately predicts observed mean and variance of choices than the UE model.This paper proposes an alternative select link analysis method by making use of the recently developed logit–weibit hybrid model,to alleviate the drawbacks of both logit and weibit models while keeping a closed-form route choice probability expression.To enhance the applicability in large-scale networks,Bell’s stochastic loading method originally developed for logit model is adapted to the hybrid model.The features of the proposed method are twofold:(1) unique O–D-specific link flow pattern and more plausible behavioral realism attributed to the hybrid route choice model and(2) applicability in large-scale networks due to the link-based stochastic loading method.An illustrative network example and a case study in a large-scale network are conducted to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed select link analysis method as well as applications of O–D-specific link flow information.A visualizationmethod is also proposed to enhance the understanding of O–D-specific link flow originally in the form of a matrix. 展开更多

To balance the contradiction between higher flexibility and heavier load bearing capacity,we present a novel deformable manipulator which is composed of active rigid joints and deformable links.The deformable link is composed of passive spherical joints with preload forces between socket-ball surfaces.To estimate the load bearing capacity of a deformable link,we present a static force-based model of spherical joint with preload force and analyze the static force propagation in the deformable link.This yields an important result that the load bearing capacity of a spherical joint only depends on its radius,preload force,and static friction coefficient.We further develop a parameter estimation method to estimate the product of preload force and static friction coefficient.The experimental results validate our model.80.4%of percentage errors on the maximum payload mass prediction are below 15%. 展开更多

In view of the lack of research on the information model of tufting carpet machine in China,an information modeling method based on Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control Unified Architecture(OPC UA)framework was proposed to solve the problem of“information island”caused by the differentiated data interface between heterogeneous equipment and system in tufting carpet machine workshop.This paper established an information model of tufting carpet machine based on analyzing the system architecture,workshop equipment composition and information flow of the workshop,combined with the OPC UA information modeling specification.Subsequently,the OPC UA protocol is used to instantiate and map the information model,and the OPC UA server is developed.Finally,the practicability of tufting carpet machine information model under the OPC UA framework and the feasibility of realizing the information interconnection of heterogeneous devices in the tufting carpet machine digital workshop are verified.On this basis,the cloud and remote access to the underlying device data are realized.The application of this information model and information integration scheme in actual production explores and practices the application of OPC UA technology in the digital workshop of tufting carpet machine. 展开更多

The deformation behavior of polymeric gels was often described based on the Flory-Rehner free energy function without considering the influence of chain entanglements on the mechanical behavior of gels. In this paper,a new hybrid free energy function for gels is formulated by combining the EdwardsVilgis slip-link model and the Flory-Huggins mixing model to quantify the time-dependent concurrent process of large deformation and mass transport. The finite element method is developed to analyze examples of swelling-induced deformation. Simulation results are compared with available experimental data and show good agreement. The influence of entanglements on the time-dependent deformation behavior of gels is also demonstrated.The study of large deformation kinetics of polymeric gel is useful for diverse applications. 展开更多

随着信息技术的高速发展,互联网的规模逐渐增大,与此同时,网络的能耗也随之攀升。业界普遍采用关闭利用率较低的链路来降低网络能耗。然而,目前的网络节能方案并不能有效平衡能量节约率、计算开销和路径拉伸度三者之间此消彼长的关系。... 随着信息技术的高速发展,互联网的规模逐渐增大,与此同时,网络的能耗也随之攀升。业界普遍采用关闭利用率较低的链路来降低网络能耗。然而,目前的网络节能方案并不能有效平衡能量节约率、计算开销和路径拉伸度三者之间此消彼长的关系。为了应对上述问题,文中提出了一种基于链路关联度模型的绿色节能路由框架。该框架支持不同的链路关联度模型,仅需要网络拓扑结构,而不需要网路中的实时流量矩阵,更易于在实际网络中部署。基于提出的链路关联度模型的绿色节能路由算法的框架,文中实现了链路行关联度算法LRC(Link Row Correlation)、链路列关联度算法LCC(Link Column Correlation)、链路行-列关联度算法LRCC(Link Row Column Correlation)和链路介数关联度LBC(Link Betweenness Correlation)4种不同的绿色节能路由算法。实验结果表明,在The Internet Topology Zoo公布的真实拓扑和由Brite模拟生成的拓扑中,LRC,LCC,LRCC和LBC的平均能量节约率比DLF算法的平均能量节约率高12.65%和7.17%,且它们的平均路径拉伸度比DLF算法的平均路径拉伸度低3.00%和13.75%。 展开更多

蜂窝车联网侧行链路接口(PC5)采用终端到终端直接通信的形式,因其通信延迟低、传输容量大和传输可靠性高的特点而具备广阔的科研和工程前景。为了实测蜂窝车联网侧行链路信道特性,使用具有PC5接口的车载板卡在城市道路进行了通信测量工... 蜂窝车联网侧行链路接口(PC5)采用终端到终端直接通信的形式,因其通信延迟低、传输容量大和传输可靠性高的特点而具备广阔的科研和工程前景。为了实测蜂窝车联网侧行链路信道特性,使用具有PC5接口的车载板卡在城市道路进行了通信测量工作,并依据测量结果从信道特征对PC5接口信道进行了分析。分析了通信收包时延随距离和信噪比变化的特征,将实测参考信号接收功率值与自由空间和双射线两种路径损耗经验模型及对数距离和双斜率两种路径损耗拟合模型的预测值进行了对比,并引入了四种相关性分析算法,从数值偏移量、线性相关程度和几何形态相似度等角度分析了模型预测值与实测数据的关联性,最终验证了双斜率路径损耗模型最适合表征PC5接口通信信道在城市环境下的衰落特征,基于该模型测算得到的路径损耗指数和阴影衰落方差也进一步说明此模型能够更好地结合实验环境表征信道特性。 展开更多

知识图谱补全是提高知识图谱质量的重要手段,主要分为基于结构和基于描述的方法。基于结构的补全方法对图谱中常见的长尾实体推理性能表现不佳,基于描述的补全方法在描述信息利用和负样本信息学习方面存在不足。针对上述问题,提出基于... 知识图谱补全是提高知识图谱质量的重要手段,主要分为基于结构和基于描述的方法。基于结构的补全方法对图谱中常见的长尾实体推理性能表现不佳,基于描述的补全方法在描述信息利用和负样本信息学习方面存在不足。针对上述问题,提出基于知识增强的知识图谱补全方法KEKGC。设计一种特定模板,将三元组及其描述信息通过人工定义的模板转换为连贯的自然语言描述语句输入预训练语言模型,增强语言模型对三元组结构知识与描述知识的理解能力。在此基础上,提出一种对比学习框架来提高链接预测任务的效率与准确率,通过建立记忆库存储实体嵌入向量,从中选择正负样本并结合Info NCE损失进行训练。实验结果显示,相较于MEM-KGC,KEKGC在WN18RR数据集上链接预测任务的平均倒数秩(MRR)提升了5.5,Hits@1、Hits@3、Hits@10指标分别提升了2.8、0.7、4.2个百分点,三元组分类任务准确率达到94.1%,表明所提方法具有更高的预测准确率与更好的泛化能力,尤其对于长尾实体,能够有效提升图谱补全的效果与效率。 展开更多
