The traditional two-dimensional model exhibits limitations when one attempts to model the de- tailed two-phase flow inside the columns. The present paper presents a three-dimensional computational fluid dy- namics (CFD) model to simulate the two-phase flow in a representative unit of the column. The unit consists of an CFD calculations on column packed with Flexipak 1Y were implemented within the volume of fluid (VOF) mathe- matical framework. The CFD model was validated by comparing the calculated thickness of liquid film with the available experimental data. Special attention was given to quantitative analysis of the effects of gravity on the hy- drodynamics. Fluctuations in the liquid mass flow rate and the calculated pressure drop loss were found to be quali- tatively in agreement with the experimental observations.展开更多

Under the background of complex international situation,how to build the special geo-economic space of China-Russia bor-der lies in strengthening their foreign trade resilience against external shocks.Based on empiric...Under the background of complex international situation,how to build the special geo-economic space of China-Russia bor-der lies in strengthening their foreign trade resilience against external shocks.Based on empirical evidence from ten prefecture-level China-Russia border regions in Northeast China,this paper analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution of foreign trade resilience under dif-ferent shocks.Furthermore,through the Panel Regression model,the mechanism of the industrial structure on the foreign trade resili-ence in contraction period and expansion period was discussed.The results showed that:1)from 2004 to 2021,foreign trade in China-Russia border regions experienced five phases.The overall foreign trade resilience was higher than expected,showing a rising volatility trend,but there was significant spatial heterogeneity in the ability of cities to cope with shocks.2)Highly specialized clusters were mainly concentrated in Yichun,Heihe and Da Hinggan Ling Prefecture,while Mudanjiang and Yanbian performed better in related and unrelated diversification.3)In different stages of economic system evolution,the response mode,degree and result of border foreign trade resilience to regional industrial structure showed obvious stage characteristics.During the contraction period,related diversifica-tion was more conducive to improving the resistance through risk spillovers.During the expansion period,specialization played a more significant role in improving regional resilience through self-reinforcing effect.These results are beneficial for expanding the resilience theory,ensuring border economic security and optimizing border industrial investment layout.展开更多

There is a correlation between the distribution of special boundaries as a function its relative energy and ordering energy: the more ordering energy, the more degree of washed away of distribution. The correlation between average relative energy of special boundaries and ordering energy was detected: the more ordering energy, the more average energy of special boundaries. Layered transition metal(TM) oxides are one of the most widely used cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries. The atomic configuration in TM layer of these materials is often known to be random when multiple TM elem...Layered transition metal(TM) oxides are one of the most widely used cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries. The atomic configuration in TM layer of these materials is often known to be random when multiple TM elements co-exist in the layer(e.g. Ni, Co and Mn). By contrast, the configuration tends to be ordered if the elements are Li and Mn. Here, by using special quasi-random structures(SQS) algorithm, the essential reasons of the ordering in a promising Li-rich Mn-based cathode material Li2MnO3 are investigated. The difference of internal energy and entropy between ordered and disordered materials is calculated. As a result, based on the Gibbs free energy, it is found that Li2MnO3 should have an ordered structure in TM layer. In comparison, structures with Ni-Mn ratio of 2:1 are predicted to have a disordered TM layer, because the entropy terms have larger impact on the structural ordering than internal energy terms.展开更多
